Speaker 1 (00:04):
Hmm. I want to welcome you to healing beguns. Have
you ever struggled with fear? Well, you want to listen

(00:25):
to this. This is Breaking the Spirit of Fear Part
two and it's Pastor galeand Stephanie Butler. Today we're going
to talk about how fear impacts our life. Because fear
is real. I believe it's true purpose. It's to try
to stop you from getting to your destination and fulfilling

(00:48):
your purpose in life. I think that's what fear is
all about. Fear is a human emotion, but it's also
a spirit. If it's crippling you, there can be a
demonic spirit behind it. Tewo Timothy one seven again are
our key verse. God has not given you a spirit
of fear, but of power.

Speaker 2 (01:09):
Love and a sound mind.

Speaker 1 (01:12):
Correct. And so you might say, well, you don't know
my mind. Maybe you need that mind. Oh, or maybe
you need to start confessing that scripture over your life
instead of saying some of the Sometimes people get in
that self condemning mode where all they're saying is bad's oh,
I'm gonna go crazy. Well stop saying that, because if

(01:32):
you want it, you can have it.

Speaker 2 (01:34):
So quit saying well, and you got to know that
every thought you have is not your own. I think
that's part of it too, Like some people don't realize
the enemy will come in an eye. I feel this
or I am this. But just because if a thought
comes into your mind and in your inner nowhere you're like,
that's not true, then you know that thought's not from you.

Speaker 1 (01:51):
Kick it out. You're the boss of you. And also
every thought that comes in your mind worth repeating out loud.
That's the truth. So let me share. People don't realize this, okay,
so are there's a certain dynamic that happens with our
words and people don't think about this much. The angels
of heaven stop and they listen to us, because the

(02:13):
Bible saysn't Psalm one or three, verse twenty that they
do the Lord of God. The demons come by and
they listen to and they're hoping that we'll say something
they can use. Because the demons don't know everything. What
they're doing is they're listening for you to say something
negative so they can make their plans against you based

(02:35):
on the very own words of your mouth. Yeah, when
you think about that, isn't that scary?

Speaker 2 (02:40):
Yeah, it becomes a seed on which they say, oh,
I see this tiny little bit of doubt or fear
or frustration or bitterness or pride, and then they move
on it and they say, let me feed that. Let
me feed that with this thought that sounds like they're
thinking of themselves, so they think this is who they are,
and we can derail them from their destiny. And we
want you to fulfill your destiny. So what Pastor Gale's

(03:02):
talking about today is so important taking those thoughts captive,
recognizing what are you thinking, and saying the things that
are aligned with the Word of God so that you
can fulfill the very, very good plans that God has
for you.

Speaker 1 (03:17):
Or it is something like this, Or you have a
pain in your chest and you go, oh, I hope
I don't got a heart problem, and you start worrying
about that you have a heart problem. Well, you had
a pain in your chest. Now I'm not saying don't
go to the doctor and get checked out. I'm not
saying that at all. But just because you have a
little pain and a little twitch doesn't mean you're gonna
get cancer or you're sick. But if you start going

(03:37):
down that road with your mind and your speech, you know,
the Bible says we can have what we say at times,
so we have to be careful with the words of
our mouth. I think it's always good to go to
the doctor if you have a presenting health issue that
is continuing to be there. I'm not saying that at all.
But the enemy's kingdom is built on lies.

Speaker 2 (03:59):
That's right.

Speaker 1 (04:00):
And you know when alias power, Stephanie.

Speaker 2 (04:03):
When you give it voice, believe it the moment it
comes out your mouth, that actually manifests because you're made
in the image of God. He says, we're little Eloheims
and psalms. Eloheim is the name in the Bible that
goes all the way back to Genesis. That means creator, judge.
You're made in the image of one that speaks and
creates and judges all things. So when you say things

(04:26):
out of your mouth that don't align with the word
of God, you're actually setting forth and into action what
will come to pass in your life. So get your
words in alignment with the truth, and.

Speaker 1 (04:39):
Then thinking about that. In the Book of Ephesians, it
says we are to be imitators of God, and it
says in Romans that we are to call the things
that are not as though they already are. And so
when you think of that, wow, our words have great power.
And so when we start agreeing and aligning with fear,

(05:05):
we're actually empowering it to work in our life. So
at some point you have to stand up, you know,
it says in you know, you got to stand up
and test the spirit and say no, no, no, no,
no more fear. I'm not giving into that. You know.
Another one person once said, fear is false evidence appearing real.

(05:26):
And it can really appear real too. And that's the thing.
Your circumstances can look totally opposite of what you're praying.

Speaker 2 (05:36):
For, and many times they do.

Speaker 1 (05:39):
And then the enemy comes and he says, why don't
you quit praying? Ain't gonna happen anyways, you know. There
another name for an enemy is diabolois, which we know
is devil, but it also means to whisper, and that's
what he does a lot of times. The negative thoughts
you said earlier, Our negative thoughts are coming from somewhere.
They're either coming from us, yep, or they're coming from

(06:03):
outside us. And the enemy all he has, he doesn't
have a voice on the earth unless we give it voice.
Unless we give his thoughts verbal agreement. Agreement correct. And
so there's a my favorite Bible story we're going to
talk about today, and those of you that have your

(06:23):
Bibles to go to Daniel chapter three. That's interesting. I
picked two stories that are political. You did, They are
very political stories. And Daniel chapter three we have the
story of Chad Wrack and the bet the go And
so they had a little problem, didn't they stuff me?

Speaker 2 (06:43):
Yeah, just a little problem.

Speaker 1 (06:45):
I think they had a big problem.

Speaker 2 (06:47):
Well, I love him because they were so brave. There
was this you know, whole culture was saying, we are
going to build this monument to the kingdom. We're all
going to worship him. And everyone asked about to worship him?

Speaker 1 (07:00):
And how big of a monument? How tall was that thing?
Feet tall? And you know what it's made of?

Speaker 2 (07:05):
Them?

Speaker 1 (07:06):
I think it was gold man. Would you like to
have that? Take it down to the coin shop and
sell ninety feet tall gold?

Speaker 2 (07:13):
You have? People are like, oh, me mine and ours,
I'll do that right. They were looking out for themselves.
But Shadrack, Meshek and a Bendico said, no way, I
know that is not true. That is not God's way,
and we will not bow.

Speaker 1 (07:25):
If you listen to part one, we talk about Daniel
and about a law that was passed and non godly
law same thing. In this case, non godly law was
passed by some people who didn't like Daniel and his associates.
The law was that, oh, King, we think it'd be
a great idea that we get and build a statue

(07:47):
of you ninety feet tall. And you know, the king
was a little pride for he goes, yeah, I think
and make it a gold king. What do you think? Oh?
The King loved the idea, and if and if people
don't bow down, he said, boy, they better bow down.
So I just love it. The whole scene. Everybody's gathered,
the whole kingdom and they're standing in front of the statue,

(08:10):
and the devil probably said to Shadrack and Mishek bow
and dell once won't hurt you. But they played the music.
But that's my bad example of music. And everybody bowed down,
and there were three Hebrew children standing standing. They were
sticking out like a sort thumb and the guys go

(08:31):
back on Kinglin forever. Three people did not bow down.
Who wasn't it was your friend Shadrack Mishak and Bendigo,
and the king was mad. He was really angry. So
he had those guys brought before him and he said, look, dudes,
I'm gonna put it in Gail language. Look guys, look dudes,

(08:53):
if you don't bow down, I tell you what I'm
gonna do to you. You know that furnace outside, you see,
I'm not just gonna heat it hot. I'm gonna heat
it seven times hotter. And if you don't bow down,
I'm gonna give you second chance. And if you don't
bow down, I'm gonna throw you guys right in there alive.
Now I would have been had a little fear at

(09:15):
this moment, maybe because one, I don't want to I
don't want to be thrown into a fiery furnace that
would hurt, to be burnt alive in the furnace. And
I was so impressed by they said, Oh King, Live forever,
we will not bow down to your statue of gold,
and even if even if we don't make it, we

(09:35):
still won't bow down to you.

Speaker 3 (09:37):
And I love that they were still honoring the leadership,
Oh King, live forever, for if God has put you
in the position, it is yours However, we will not
compromise who got called us to be to honor and
worship you, for we worship one true God.

Speaker 1 (09:51):
O that took some gods. Let me tell you that.
What and I and you know? So he puts them
out there again, play the music, yeah, and there they stay.
Oh the king was enraged. He was so ticked off.
He said, bring those boys in here and bind him
hand and foot, and get that furnace seven times hotter
than normal. Heat it up. We're gonna light these boys up.

(10:13):
We're gonna make these boys a candle in the furnace.
So he had his big, buff strong soldiers pick them up.
They go to the edge of the furnace and they
throw them in and the fire is so hot that
it kills the soldiers. They died. They die. So the
king is setting there and he goes, whoa wait a minute, guys, wait,

(10:35):
what's going on in my furnace? Did we not throw
three men in there?

Speaker 2 (10:40):
But I see a fourth man in the fire? Come on, somebody,
and what does.

Speaker 1 (10:44):
He look like? Come on, it looks like the son
of God.

Speaker 2 (10:47):
Yeah, he was the son of God.

Speaker 1 (10:49):
He was was a theophony, an appearance of Jesus the
Old Testament. So he walks to the edge of the furnace.
He said, shadrack me shaq a bend to go, come
out of there, and so they walked out. Now, this
is interesting. The only thing the fire burnt was the
ropes that had them bound.

Speaker 2 (11:07):
It says they didn't even smell like smoke.

Speaker 1 (11:10):
Come you can't even say holy smoke on this one. Okay.

Speaker 2 (11:14):
There wasn't even an essence, no a fragrance of the
trial that they have been through because they just got
free from the things that bound them.

Speaker 1 (11:24):
And then you know what, they're standing up for righteousness.

Speaker 2 (11:29):
Come on.

Speaker 1 (11:30):
Caused a national revival because he said, your God is
able to save to the uttermost. So I declare that
anyone that says anything against the Goddess shadrack meshack, and
you're gonna be toased. And so it caused a national
revival because they stood against the spirit of fear and

(11:52):
they didn't buy down. See that's the key.

Speaker 2 (11:55):
And it turned a fall of the Kingdom of God
into a friend for the Kingdom of God. Oh very
much so, right, because and think of what it would
have been different if they hadn't honored him. O King
lived forever. Maybe it would have been different. Maybe he
wouldn't have turned it around. You know you wonder, you
don't know.

Speaker 1 (12:13):
Well, on the other side of you conquering your fear
as revival. Yeah, that's what you can remember that. There
was another guy that got thrown into the fire. He
didn't get thrown into fire, he got burned at steak.
His name was Polycarp. He used to be the bishop
of Samurna during the time of emperor worship. And they
came to and said, you must worship the emperor. We're

(12:33):
going to feed you to the lions. And Polycarp said, well,
bring them on, bring on the lions. I'm not going
to bow down. They said, well, we'll burn you out
the steak. He said, build the pile. But he said,
let me pray for you for one hour. So polycop prayed.
Polycarp prayed for one hour, and then they said they
were going to nail him to the steak. He said, no,

(12:56):
you gotta nail me. He said, I'll stand here in
the fire. I'll stand here. Light the fire. So they
got all these people watching, right, and they light this fire.
And historians say, instead of the fire burning him, it
arcd around him, and there was a smell of bread baking. Okay,

(13:18):
he was standing right there in the fire. Now guess
what the guy they wanted to kill. All of a sudden,
people realize he's holy and he is more dangerous dead
than he is alive. And then and then they called
for the executioner to put a spear in him. Well,
so much blood and water came out and put the

(13:39):
fire out.

Speaker 2 (13:41):
Now that now they've towarded their whole plan.

Speaker 1 (13:45):
Their fire is out, and now they realize if they
don't get rid of this guy totally, people are going
to honor him as a holy saint. I mean his
testimony as he stood in that fire and didn't work,
and he stood in those flames. I gotta be honest,
I don't even know if I can comprehend that type

(14:07):
of bravery. But he was eighty some years old. What
he told him was eighty some years have I served
the Lord? He will help me to stand right in
the fire. Light the fire. Yeah, come on this song,
light the fire again. But that's a different song. But
so he stands there and he dies with Some historians

(14:31):
say when they puncture decided, flew out along with it.
It's interesting. There's there's this. This death is recorded as
he dies in the flames. Okay, but now his life
reached more people than it ever did when he was alive.
But he reached them through his death and through standing

(14:52):
up for what was right. And that's that's what we
don't realize. How many people are watching you when you're
bound in fear. How many are reading you like an
open book. What is he gonna do? Is he going
to compromise? Is he gonna bow down? Is he gonna stand?
Or is he gonna go into the night? Whimpering and whining?

(15:17):
And polycarps stood there in shadrack me shack. I don't
know what they were saying to each other as they
were in the furnace. Now, that would have been an
interesting conversation. Hey guys, look we're in the fire. We're
not burn out. Wow, this is cool. We're not Oh Jesus,
what are you doing here? Yeah? Wow? Thanks for saving
our books? Right So, I don't know the fire you're

(15:40):
in right now, Stephanie, and I want you to know
you're not alone. There's a fourth man in the fire
with you. His name is Jesus. He said, I will
never leave you, and I'll never forsake you. Low.

Speaker 2 (15:54):
I am with you always, even until the ends of
the earth.

Speaker 1 (15:57):
Even until the fire is lit.

Speaker 2 (15:59):
Even while yeah, actually you said that, and I always
remember that verse. I will be a wall of fire
around you to protect you from the enemy's onslaughts, right,
it says, then, I think it's Sacharior Zephanaya. But you
need to know he's with you, and all you have
to do is call on his name.

Speaker 1 (16:15):
Jesus, you know what we need in our nation. We
need a national miracle that turns everyone to the Lord.
That's really what we really need. But Stephanie, I want
you to lift up a prayer for people that feel
like they're in the fire. Sure, the fiery circumstances they're in,
and they feel all alone. By the way hear the

(16:37):
words of Jesus through my voice, you're in the fiery
situation and Jesus knows about it, but he wants you
to know you're not alone. Father.

Speaker 2 (16:48):
I pray for every single person in the sound of
our voice today that feels like they are in a
fiery trial or a fiery situation, and I ask first
and foremost that you would grant them the curve and
the grace to call on your name. And when they
call on their name, Father, I thank you for providing
exactly what they need to be protected, to see the

(17:08):
way out, to be encouraged, to be strengthened in their faith.
And that just like shad Rag Mishik and a Bendigo,
saw just the things that bound them fall off, but
they were delivered and your name was made great and
lifted up. I asked that you would do the exact
same thing for them and through them, and make it
very clear the things that you've delivered them from as

(17:32):
they come out of this fire, Father, God, and make
it very clear. Grant them the grace to be able
to see you moving clearly, fill their mouths with praise,
and grant them the grace to rejoice now because it's
already done in Jesus' name.

Speaker 1 (17:48):
Amen, and Lord, I'm reminded as I'm praying, that there
are some people that are in the fire of their
own making. Lord, They've made their own furnace. But even
that fire you can put out, Lord, and I pray
that you would rescue people from the fire. I pray
that you would put your loving arms around them, provide

(18:08):
healing for them and strength for them in the name
of Jesus. Now, this morning I wrote this statement on
top of my paper. The Lord wouldn't be quiet this morning.
He just kept talking all the time. I thought I
talked a lot, but boy, he was talking a lot.
I was trying to get a good prayer time in,
but all I can hear was him talking to me.
It's a better way to go.

Speaker 3 (18:29):
You know, prayer goes both ways.

Speaker 1 (18:30):
We pray, we talk, we listen it. He probably showed
me he's guid even to get a word in edgewise
on me. So here's what he's Here's what I wrote down.
No matter what happens in my life, God will be
with me wherever I go and will take care of me. Now,
I have to remember that our lives, your life is

(18:54):
not in our hands, it's in his hands. And so
we have to believe and know that if we walk
with Jesus, and we're trying to walk with him the
best we can, because none of us are perfect, that
He will be with us, he will take care of us,
and he will see us the glory. You know, Paul
had many times where he got shipwrecked, beaten, and I

(19:18):
was hearing Jesse. I heard Jesse du plan is saying
Paul was probably hoping he'd kill him so he could
get to heaven.

Speaker 2 (19:27):
You know, he literally said that it's better for me
to leave this body and be with the Lord. It's
better for you that I'm here.

Speaker 1 (19:33):
Well, yeah, because wow, you know, if you're in the fire,
the fiery circumstances are a fiery trial. You know. The
Bible says that we are epistles written and read of
all men. Let your story be God's glory. Let your
story just glorify God by how you stand and how

(19:57):
you make it through the fire, and how you get
through the circumstance. And says I remember being in the
hospital with this lady. Because I was a chaplain, I
could be at many people's bedside, but there was this
one particular lady that had a disease that was extremely painful.
But you know what she did through all the pain,

(20:19):
All she did was glorify God with her mouth. All
she did was praise God with her mouth. All she
did was stand there for her miracle. And I mean
to me, her book was being written. In fact, you know,
she freaked the X ray tech out one day because
he x rayed her body and she lit up on
the x ray and the doctor said, oh, don't let

(20:39):
that freak you out. He said, when she's in the
healing mode, her body lights up. I've never heard of
that before. If you're a doctor, check it out, check
it out, write in and tell me you heard it here. Yeah. Hey,
we'd like to hear from you. Yes, my email is
share at Healing Begins Radio dot com. That is share

(20:59):
at Healing Begins Radio dot com. Once again, Stephanie and
Stephanie and I have resources. What are your book.

the Middle of in color. You have God Moments, Jesus
in the Mountains, and the Heart of Healing in Spanish,
in English and audible book also, So these would be

(21:36):
great resources if you need encouragement, if you want healing
for your life, they're out there for you. Well, we're
winding up. I pray that you get out of your
fire soon, I think about going through a trial. Shadrackmichek
and a Bendigo was probably hoping. I can't wait till
this is over. I just can't wait. Can you imagine

(21:57):
the questions they got the next day, Hey, come here,
what was it like to stand in that fire? And
by the way, who was that fourth guy in there
with you? Come? Can you imagine the questions they the
next day tell us that story? Was it hot in there?
Did you get burned? Not even a spot? Really? Can

(22:18):
you imagine the conversations are in the break room. I
don't know if Daniel had a break we were not,
but I can imagine the conversations he was having. Well,
that's what it would be like for our glory if
we stand for God, if we do not compromise and
allow God to come through across.

Speaker 2 (22:39):
Yeah, yep, you'll have a story when you come out
of testimony. No more just having the Moni's you got
a testimony because you pass that test. So hang in there, rejoice,
give him thanks, He loves you. You are coming out.

Speaker 1 (22:53):
Well. May the Lord bless you. We're winding up here.
May he keep you. May he cause his face to
shine upon you. Be gracious to you and give you peace.
