Lord, I want to thank you today that your presence
is better than life itself. Lord, I want to thank
you for each listener that is out there that listen
to this program on a weekly basis. Lord, I pray
that your presence would go to people wherever they're at.

people haven't had joy recently. Maybe they've felt like they
had the joy sucked right out of them, And I
pray that today, through this program, we could just pour
the joy right back into them through the power and
the presence of the Holy Spirit. Lord. I know this

touches hundreds of people as it goes out, and possibly thousands,
So Father, I pray for each person that is listening
and who will listen, that you would grant them peace
and your presence in Jesus'.

would touch them with your love, that you would speak
to their minds and to their hearts about the things
that you know they're concerned about.

would just protect them and keep them safe, and that
you would move on their behalf. That you would bring
any provision that they need and the areas of finance.

that I attend, but there's plenty of churches you could
check out in the Grand Rapids region. There's so many churches,

I must admit I look for hearing your show every night.
The first time I listened to you was around two
years ago. When I first heard you, I thought this
pastor's drunk. I love it, but you captured me.

on again. And I love the prayers that you pray
for us all and I was intrigued by your show.
I just listened to your prayer about parents and children,
and you said your grandmother said prayers for you for

to you. I'm reaching out because it was inspired by
the recent podcast that came on the radio as my
husband and I were coming home from the hospital. As
we drove home on the expressway, the radio just turned
on and your podcast was on it to me, so
it spoke to me so strongly, and I know it

wasn't a coincidence that it came on. Thank you so much.
I would love to know more. I tried to get
my phone out to take notes and get the number.

Well, you know that tells me that people are on
the highway at one am. There's a lot of people
that live that listen to what FM one oh six
point nine that reaches like a big area of West Michigan. Okay,
so we know that many of you that are listening.
I don't know where you're at where you're picking this up,
but if you're on at one am, you might say,

who's this crazy couple talking on radio. I'm pretty sure
Ihard don't have quite a program like us, and I
think what FM because they're so generous for allowing us
to reach out to those And the reason for one
am is that was really the time that Jesus wanted
me to have He specifically said one am. I get

funny looks. Well, what time do you want your program? Gail?
One am? What? One am? Why? Why? Because Jesus, says
Jehovah rohe he is the good shepherd and he cares
for his sheep that are out at one am wondering
the streets wherever you're coming from. Bads, my jeeps out, bad,
bad cheepsau. But he is looking for you in a

bad situation. Yeah, yeah, it can be that to you.
You're up at one am because she said she was
in the hospital.

They were on their way.

Homes out, you know. Last man, I remember coming home
with my wife from the hospital one time. She's setting
out a donut and that's not good. No, don't hit
no bombs, still hitting no bombs. So that was in
my younger days. Hey, why don't you read this one
right here? Stephanie. Sure?
Speaker 4 (09:45):
So this one says Gail. I've received your message this
morning at one am. I could feel it coming and
it might have saved my life. The moment I heard
you on my radio, I was in the car, like
I'm usually around one am. I only listened to the
radio station once. I've owned this vehicle for three years
something about that radio was always there when I drove
(10:08):
to work or anywhere I went. It had a special
way that it would almost seem to respond to me
at the times when times were rough and when it
was hard, it would do things and it seemed to
almost be alive. It was built in two thousand and seven.
It has no smart features. Something about it always felt
like it was calling me. But tonight I heard your call.
(10:30):
I don't know how many replies you got back of
the seven hundred listeners in West Michigan, but I heard
your prayers and I will never forget that for the
rest of my life. I'm still in shock as I'm
writing this message. I know you touched more than just
me tonight. The people and things in my life are
directly connected to this event. I no longer feel the
need to feel guilty about my message and not being
(10:53):
heard because of your show tonight. It was heard loud
and clear. I've been waiting for this for about ten years.
I never gave up once. So many people out there
told me to give up, and I never did because,
like you said in your prayers, one day things will
get better.
Speaker 1 (11:10):
That's a great comment too. They're all great comments and
I remember when the Lord spoke to me one day
in ozon prayer and he said, I want to use
your voice. And I said to well, what the world
do you mean by that? He said, I want to
give you a radio program. And my first thing I
said that Jesus was well, who's going to put me
on the radio? I don't know anyone going to put
(11:30):
me on there. So you know what I did, I
stepped out by faith. I put together a program, a
demo program, and I began to reach out to the
different stations. I knew how to light late night program. Now.
My favorite late night guy was Bill Pierce's nice sound.
He is like I fashioned this song, this program a
(11:51):
little bit after him because he had a great intake music.
He had a great voice and a great way of speaking.
He knew how to flow with the Holy Spirit. Do
you know it used to be a state cop. I
didn't know that later he used to be a state cop.
And he has this deep voice and he's very musical,
and he did like ten thousand programs. But he died
in twenty twelve. And I won't tell you what radio
(12:15):
station I spoke to, but I spoke to one of
the major radio stations that he was on. Sure, I said,
who replaced him? Yeah? They said nobody. I said, don't
you think that a late night program is needed? Well yeah,
but who's going to do it? And I said, well
would you listen to my program? And so they did.
And here's what he told me. He goes, do you
have a podcast in I go, yes, I do, and
(12:37):
he goes, well, we can't put you on the air.
I says why. He says, because no one knows you.
You don't bring in ratings. He goes that guy was
out one hundred and one radio stations before he died.
So I said to the guy, don't you have to
be a little guy first before you can be a
big guy. He goes, come on, Gail, I know what
(12:57):
you're saying. So he did help open the door to
a couple of radio stations and then I was able
to talk with WFM what I want to do at night.
The program is not political, it's not we don't talk
about the pandemic. We just talk about hope. We get
on the radio a night and speak to people that
are hurting, and I think that is really important for
(13:18):
us to do. And thank God for all the sponsors.
My sponsors don't even want their name tagged on to
the end of the program. They're doing it because they
want to do it. And by the way, when I
get an email from a listener, I send it to
the sponsors. So email me at share at Healing Begins
radio dot com because they love hearing the stories. Yes,
(13:42):
and then I let iheartread your stories too. I send
your emails on so they can read what their listeners
are saying. Because I'm contemplating going into a third night
on the radio, contemplating at third night. But it just
takes a lot of recording time to be able to
do all that. But just the fact that this one
person felt like this program basically almost saved his life,
(14:08):
I'm thanking God for that. You know what, somebody's voice
coming through the radio at the right time when you're
facing something giving you a confirmation or like, I can't
believe he just said that. I was just thinking. I
was on face. I was on Faith radio and a
live program, and the Faith radio is out of the
(14:29):
Twin Cities, and I stopped the host. I said, I
got a word of knowledge. What is it? I said,
someone's driving right now and you just said, and you've
pulled your car over the side of the road and
you've just said God, where are you? Are you real?
I said, do you have a text line? And they
said we do. Two people texted immediately the cars were
pulled over. They had just prayed that prayer.
Speaker 4 (14:53):
You're saying that, and I'm actually seeing someone broken down
beside the road and they're praying that same prayer.
Speaker 1 (15:00):
Help me?
Speaker 6 (15:00):
Will you do that for me?
Speaker 4 (15:01):
The Lord says yes, So, Father, we asked you would
streak their car back up and show them who you
are in Jesus name. So if that's you, be sure
to write in and let gl know that God answered
their prayer.

I love this comment till you want to read this

This individual said, I've never done this before, but I
would like to compliment you, sir. I'm I'm a night owl.
I've always worked second shift, so one am hours.

That's seventeen hundred for me. Lol.

I must admit I look forward to hearing your show
every night. The first time I listened to you was

Well, you know, I've got to let you know that
when we do a show, we do not have a
ton of notes in front of us. That's not we
don't have a ton of notes. We just kind of
go of the flow. And I'm looking at another comment here,
So if you hear paper rattling, because I'm looking at comments.

Sure, So this one says, just heard your program of
July twentieth, twenty twenty fourth, thank you. Exclamation point and
by the way, this is written in all capital letters.

This person was shouting excited.
Speaker 4 (16:44):
It was what I needed to hear. The Lord got
me up at one in the morning to hear you.
Your message was wonderful. I prayed and will continue to
pray for our leaders, all of our leaders. I pray
for you too, and ask that you would pray for
me for healing and for weight loss.
Speaker 1 (17:02):
Oh, we just read that one a little bit. So
we did pray for healing, we prayed for weight loss.
I remember hearing a young lady that was driving through
Middleville and was scanning the band and heard my voice
of reading scripture, and she pulled the car over by
the side of the road. She had a homemost teenager
(17:25):
in her back seat.
Speaker 5 (17:26):
Wow.
Speaker 1 (17:27):
She pulled her car over by the road, and she
she listened to the whole program. Do you know where
I met her? No, let her in McDonald's and Hastings. Wow,
and realized, she goes, your voice sounds familiar, and we talked.
She was listening, and she goes, I never heard anyone
read scripture on the radio. So she pulled over. She stopped,

and she listened to the whole program. And later she
did a program with me that you hear later on
this radio. It's called Lexi's Story, And it was so amazing.
She came in here, she got prayer and everything like that.
In one last comment, I'd like you to read sure, So.

This one says, I listen to the podcast when life
turns you upside down, and it was very good. I
hope to be right side up in an upside down world.
I like Jeremiah six sixteen because it tells me to
wait and to listen to what the Lord is telling me.
I like all the verses that were given. Proverbs three,
(18:32):
five and six is really important to me too. Trusting
in God, even when it feels like I have no
purpose or destiny, it's important and not impossible. I pray
that I can be mature and the others will know
me by my love and say she trusted God in
the midst of trials of life. I might share this
(18:53):
podcast your podcast with my family on our birthdays. My
two brothers and I Thinks and at the Thinks celebration.

I asked it you would help them to become mature,
that you will give them a hunger and thirst for righteousness,
that you would fill them, Father God, that you would
just cause them to desire to know you more, and
that as they draw close to you, you would draw

I asked that wherever they're at, whatever their circumstances are,
whomever they're with, that you would just wash over them
with your love, that it would be thick, that it
would be tangible, and that they would feel you hovering
around them, just like Holy Spirit hovered over the chaos

over the chaos in their lives and begin to bring

those things into order, begin to give them clarity of mind,
begin to open their spiritual eyes, and open their spiritual
eyes ears, and heal their hearts.

you would continue to reveal yourself to them as the Messiah,
as the good Shepherd. I love the different names of God.
You are Jehovah Shama, the God that is near. You're
Jehovah Nissi, our banner and your banner over us as love.
You are Jehovah Rohi, God, the good shepherd of the

sheep that even goes out to look for the one
that is lost. So I think that you care and
that you're with people and that they're not alone, and
in fact, you know somebody used to say when I
was going to go through a hard time, they would
sit to me, you know you're gonna make it. You're
just gonna make it. So I say, I say that

word to you. You're gonna make it, You're gonna get through.
And I thank you Lord that no one tunes into
the channel by accident, maybe with somebody who was running
down the highway going to a different state and they
come across this at one am. You're not an accident.
You're meant to be listening at one am. I don't
know where you're going. I don't know where you're headed.

I don't know what's going on in your life, but
I do know one thing for sure. Jesus loves you,
and he cares. And I pray you know. I reminded
that song. I know he cares. His heart is touched
with my plea. The day is weary, a long life jury.
I know my Savior cares. And that was an old

hymn my grandma used to teach you growing up. So
I pray that people know that their hand is in
the hand of the Man of Galilee. He's the water walking,
wind stopping come Savior. He can save your boat when
the water's flooding in, and he can rebuke the winds
and the waves that are in your circumstances that you're facing.

the recent podcast that came on the radio as my
husband and I were coming home from the hospital. As
we drove home on the expressway, the radio just turned
on and your podcast was on it to me, so
it spoke to me so strongly, and I know it

wasn't a coincidence that it came on. Thank you so much.
I would love to know more. I tried to get
my phone out to take notes and get the number.

Well, you know that tells me that people are on
the highway at one am. There's a lot of people
that live that listen to what FM one oh six
point nine that reaches like a big area of West Michigan. Okay,
so we know that many of you that are listening.
I don't know where you're at where you're picking this up,
but if you're on at one am, you might say,

who's this crazy couple talking on radio. I'm pretty sure
Ihard don't have quite a program like us, and I
think what FM because they're so generous for allowing us
to reach out to those And the reason for one
am is that was really the time that Jesus wanted
me to have He specifically said one am. I get

funny looks. Well, what time do you want your program? Gail?
One am? What? One am? Why? Why? Because Jesus, says
Jehovah rohe he is the good shepherd and he cares
for his sheep that are out at one am wondering
the streets wherever you're coming from. Bads, my jeeps out, bad,
bad cheepsau. But he is looking for you in a

bad situation. Yeah, yeah, it can be that to you.
You're up at one am because she said she was
in the hospital.

They were on their way.
Speaker 1 (09:26):
Homes out, you know. Last man, I remember coming home
with my wife from the hospital one time. She's setting
out a donut and that's not good. No, don't hit
no bombs, still hitting no bombs. So that was in
my younger days. Hey, why don't you read this one
right here? Stephanie. Sure?
Speaker 4 (09:45):
So this one says Gail. I've received your message this
morning at one am. I could feel it coming and
it might have saved my life. The moment I heard
you on my radio, I was in the car, like
I'm usually around one am. I only listened to the
radio station once. I've owned this vehicle for three years
something about that radio was always there when I drove
(10:08):
to work or anywhere I went. It had a special
way that it would almost seem to respond to me
at the times when times were rough and when it
was hard, it would do things and it seemed to
almost be alive. It was built in two thousand and seven.
It has no smart features. Something about it always felt
like it was calling me. But tonight I heard your call.
(10:30):
I don't know how many replies you got back of
the seven hundred listeners in West Michigan, but I heard
your prayers and I will never forget that for the
rest of my life. I'm still in shock as I'm
writing this message. I know you touched more than just
me tonight. The people and things in my life are
directly connected to this event. I no longer feel the
need to feel guilty about my message and not being
(10:53):
heard because of your show tonight. It was heard loud
and clear. I've been waiting for this for about ten years.
I never gave up once. So many people out there
told me to give up, and I never did because,
like you said in your prayers, one day things will
get better.
Speaker 1 (11:10):
That's a great comment too. They're all great comments and
I remember when the Lord spoke to me one day
in ozon prayer and he said, I want to use
your voice. And I said to well, what the world
do you mean by that? He said, I want to
give you a radio program. And my first thing I
said that Jesus was well, who's going to put me
on the radio? I don't know anyone going to put
(11:30):
me on there. So you know what I did, I
stepped out by faith. I put together a program, a
demo program, and I began to reach out to the
different stations. I knew how to light late night program. Now.
My favorite late night guy was Bill Pierce's nice sound.
He is like I fashioned this song, this program a
(11:51):
little bit after him because he had a great intake music.
He had a great voice and a great way of speaking.
He knew how to flow with the Holy Spirit. Do
you know it used to be a state cop. I
didn't know that later he used to be a state cop.
And he has this deep voice and he's very musical,
and he did like ten thousand programs. But he died
in twenty twelve. And I won't tell you what radio
(12:15):
station I spoke to, but I spoke to one of
the major radio stations that he was on. Sure, I said,
who replaced him? Yeah? They said nobody. I said, don't
you think that a late night program is needed? Well yeah,
but who's going to do it? And I said, well
would you listen to my program? And so they did.
And here's what he told me. He goes, do you
have a podcast in I go, yes, I do, and
(12:37):
he goes, well, we can't put you on the air.
I says why. He says, because no one knows you.
You don't bring in ratings. He goes that guy was
out one hundred and one radio stations before he died.
So I said to the guy, don't you have to
be a little guy first before you can be a
big guy. He goes, come on, Gail, I know what
(12:57):
you're saying. So he did help open the door to
a couple of radio stations and then I was able
to talk with WFM what I want to do at night.
The program is not political, it's not we don't talk
about the pandemic. We just talk about hope. We get
on the radio a night and speak to people that
are hurting, and I think that is really important for
(13:18):
us to do. And thank God for all the sponsors.
My sponsors don't even want their name tagged on to
the end of the program. They're doing it because they
want to do it. And by the way, when I
get an email from a listener, I send it to
the sponsors. So email me at share at Healing Begins
radio dot com because they love hearing the stories. Yes,
(13:42):
and then I let iheartread your stories too. I send
your emails on so they can read what their listeners
are saying. Because I'm contemplating going into a third night
on the radio, contemplating at third night. But it just
takes a lot of recording time to be able to
do all that. But just the fact that this one
person felt like this program basically almost saved his life,
(14:08):
I'm thanking God for that. You know what, somebody's voice
coming through the radio at the right time when you're
facing something giving you a confirmation or like, I can't
believe he just said that. I was just thinking. I
was on face. I was on Faith radio and a
live program, and the Faith radio is out of the
(14:29):
Twin Cities, and I stopped the host. I said, I
got a word of knowledge. What is it? I said,
someone's driving right now and you just said, and you've
pulled your car over the side of the road and
you've just said God, where are you? Are you real?
I said, do you have a text line? And they
said we do. Two people texted immediately the cars were
pulled over. They had just prayed that prayer.
Speaker 4 (14:53):
You're saying that, and I'm actually seeing someone broken down
beside the road and they're praying that same prayer.
Speaker 1 (15:00):
Help me?
Speaker 6 (15:00):
Will you do that for me?
Speaker 4 (15:01):
The Lord says yes, So, Father, we asked you would
streak their car back up and show them who you
are in Jesus name. So if that's you, be sure
to write in and let gl know that God answered
their prayer.
Speaker 1 (15:11):
I love this comment till you want to read this
one all right.
Speaker 4 (15:14):
This individual said, I've never done this before, but I
would like to compliment you, sir. I'm I'm a night owl.
I've always worked second shift, so one am hours.
Speaker 1 (15:25):
That's seventeen hundred for me. Lol.
Speaker 4 (15:28):
I must admit I look forward to hearing your show
every night. The first time I listened to you was
around two years ago. When I first heard you, I
thought this pastor is drunk.
Speaker 1 (15:38):
Now listen to what he says that.
Speaker 4 (15:41):
But you captured me frantically.
Speaker 1 (15:43):
Fractionally, Oh, fractionally, No, I grew on it. Oh yeah, yeah,
because he didn't know. He saying, a little by a little,
I grew on.
Speaker 6 (15:52):
So this is the one we read earlier.
Speaker 1 (15:53):
It was, but he said I grew on him fractionally.
Speaker 4 (15:56):
So he said, then the next night you were back
on again.
Speaker 6 (15:59):
And I love the prayers. Yeah, pray for us all.
I was intrigued by your show.
Speaker 1 (16:05):
Well, you know, I've got to let you know that
when we do a show, we do not have a
ton of notes in front of us. That's not we
don't have a ton of notes. We just kind of
go of the flow. And I'm looking at another comment here,
So if you hear paper rattling, because I'm looking at comments.

Sure, So this one says, just heard your program of
July twentieth, twenty twenty fourth, thank you. Exclamation point and
by the way, this is written in all capital letters.

This person was shouting excited.
Speaker 4 (16:44):
It was what I needed to hear. The Lord got
me up at one in the morning to hear you.
Your message was wonderful. I prayed and will continue to
pray for our leaders, all of our leaders. I pray
for you too, and ask that you would pray for
me for healing and for weight loss.
Speaker 1 (17:02):
Oh, we just read that one a little bit. So
we did pray for healing, we prayed for weight loss.
I remember hearing a young lady that was driving through
Middleville and was scanning the band and heard my voice
of reading scripture, and she pulled the car over by
the side of the road. She had a homemost teenager
(17:25):
in her back seat.
Speaker 5 (17:26):
Wow.
Speaker 1 (17:27):
She pulled her car over by the road, and she
she listened to the whole program. Do you know where
I met her? No, let her in McDonald's and Hastings. Wow,
and realized, she goes, your voice sounds familiar, and we talked.
She was listening, and she goes, I never heard anyone
read scripture on the radio. So she pulled over. She stopped,
(17:51):
and she listened to the whole program. And later she
did a program with me that you hear later on
this radio. It's called Lexi's Story, And it was so amazing.
She came in here, she got prayer and everything like that.
In one last comment, I'd like you to read sure, So.
Speaker 4 (18:11):
This one says, I listen to the podcast when life
turns you upside down, and it was very good. I
hope to be right side up in an upside down world.
I like Jeremiah six sixteen because it tells me to
wait and to listen to what the Lord is telling me.
I like all the verses that were given. Proverbs three,
(18:32):
five and six is really important to me too. Trusting
in God, even when it feels like I have no
purpose or destiny, it's important and not impossible. I pray
that I can be mature and the others will know
me by my love and say she trusted God in
the midst of trials of life. I might share this

two brothers and I Thinks and at the Thinks celebration.

I asked it you would help them to become mature,
that you will give them a hunger and thirst for righteousness,
that you would fill them, Father God, that you would
just cause them to desire to know you more, and
that as they draw close to you, you would draw

I asked that wherever they're at, whatever their circumstances are,
whomever they're with, that you would just wash over them
with your love, that it would be thick, that it
would be tangible, and that they would feel you hovering
around them, just like Holy Spirit hovered over the chaos

those things into order, begin to give them clarity of mind,
begin to open their spiritual eyes, and open their spiritual

you would continue to reveal yourself to them as the Messiah,

You are Jehovah Rohi, God, the good shepherd of the

sheep that even goes out to look for the one
that is lost. So I think that you care and
that you're with people and that they're not alone, and
in fact, you know somebody used to say when I
was going to go through a hard time, they would
sit to me, you know you're gonna make it. You're
just gonna make it. So I say, I say that

word to you. You're gonna make it, You're gonna get through.
And I thank you Lord that no one tunes into
the channel by accident, maybe with somebody who was running
down the highway going to a different state and they
come across this at one am. You're not an accident.
You're meant to be listening at one am. I don't
know where you're going. I don't know where you're headed.

I don't know what's going on in your life, but
I do know one thing for sure. Jesus loves you,
and he cares. And I pray you know. I reminded
that song. I know he cares. His heart is touched
with my plea. The day is weary, a long life jury.
I know my Savior cares. And that was an old
(22:23):
hymn my grandma used to teach you growing up. So
I pray that people know that their hand is in
the hand of the Man of Galilee. He's the water walking,
wind stopping come Savior. He can save your boat when
the water's flooding in, and he can rebuke the winds
and the waves that are in your circumstances that you're facing.
(22:45):
In Jesus' name, Well, we got about a minute left.

God today. We're talking about these great stories and testimonies.
