Speaker 2 (00:03):
Phone you are about to hear a feature that was
created to expose the scammers, thieves, and corn artists among us.
The dialogue and temperament about to be used by Hollywood
Hamilton does not necessarily reflect the views and opinions of iHeartMedia.
This is fraud Friday.

Speaker 3 (00:23):
Okay, this week we're gonna be covering I guess insurance
fraud with an automobile.

Speaker 1 (00:29):
James, are you there?

Speaker 4 (00:30):
I'm here, man, I'm here.

Speaker 1 (00:32):
All right. So we have the video in front of us.

Speaker 3 (00:34):
James, by the way, the video is available over on
my Instagram onto Hollywood Hamilton, Hollywood Hamilton on Instagram. You
look at this video. You help us out, Ladies and gentlemen,
tell me does this look like fraud?

Speaker 1 (00:45):
You woman cuts in front of him, hits her brake hard.

Speaker 5 (00:49):
It's called a I believe it's called a panic stop.

Speaker 3 (00:53):
James had a dash cam. He captured the entire thing
when she stopped right in front of him. You guys
are traveling how fast, James? How fast were you traveling?

Speaker 4 (01:01):
It definitely below the speed limit, I'd say about fifty
fifty five.

Speaker 3 (01:04):
She jumps out in front of him, slams the brake,
it's all on dash cam, Hollywood Hamilton Instagram.

Speaker 1 (01:08):
So what are we looking at here?

Speaker 4 (01:11):
After she slams on the brakes and I hit her,
she gets out of her car. Her arms are flailing
over the place. She's angry, she's ira. So I get
out of my car trying to calm her down, and
then I totally freak out because this woman is going crazy.
I get back in my car and left.

Speaker 1 (01:28):
What do you mean you left?

Speaker 5 (01:29):
You just left the scene.

Speaker 4 (01:31):
I left the scene. I got out of there. I
mean she was going crazy.

Speaker 3 (01:34):
Why would why would you leave the scene? Well, okay,
hold on, you're calling fraud Friday this girl. It's obvious
in the video that we're looking at on my Instagram
onto Hollywood Hamilton. It's definitely insurance fraud. She arranged the
entire accident. You hit her, you have it on a
dash cam, you have all the evidence, and then you
flee the scene.

Speaker 4 (01:54):
Why, Like I said, you know she was going crazy?

Speaker 3 (01:58):
No no, no, Well, okay, we're gonna terminate this call.
We're terminating this call. I don't I'm not.

Speaker 1 (02:03):
Gonna help you.

Speaker 6 (02:04):
Yeah, there's so you know, with a lot of these scams, James,
the number one thing.

Speaker 5 (02:09):
When this happens to you, the first thing that you
have to do is you have to call the police.

Speaker 1 (02:14):
You have to call them.

Speaker 6 (02:15):
What they're going to ask for is physical evidence, meaning
they're gonna have to look at your car. They ask
that you hopefully will have a witness that witnessed the
whole thing.

Speaker 1 (02:25):
Were you alone? James?

Speaker 4 (02:27):
Yeah, with me?

Speaker 6 (02:28):
Okay, that's good. That's good that you have a witness.
So all of that is really in your favor. So
I don't understand why you didn't call the police. Why, Yeah,
it's all in your favor at this point.

Speaker 4 (02:43):
What is the first time, you know, I've been involved
in some sort of traffic thing. I mean, I got
a speeding ticket on two eight a couple of months back,
and I never paid it, and lord knows what. Okay, Okay,
so you know I got a ticket that I never paid,
So I don't know what's out for it, but I
don't want to find that.

Speaker 1 (03:04):
How much money are you looking to get back, James.

Speaker 4 (03:06):
I'm looking to get about twenty five hundred backs and
you know, repair them the front end of my car.
This woman tried to scam me.

Speaker 1 (03:14):

We got an eighty five success ratio on getting people's
money back, and this is a waste of time.

Speaker 1 (03:32):
Why would she give any money to a guy that
fled the scene and she knows it. We could scare
her that you're on to her. You know she's a scammer.

Speaker 5 (03:40):
Maybe maybe yeah, maybe do you want to get Oh.
