And then we're going to Jakie. Jakie is running Ladies
has not show up yet. JK Balls Sports coming up?
All right, now, Astra, what do you got?
Speaker 5 (01:03):
Astra looks like Diddy's lawyers ask a federal judge to
delay his May fifth sex trafficking trial by two months
so they can better prepare a defense. The lawyers say
prosecutors have been slow when it comes to turning over
some potential evidence for review, which is making it difficult
for them to be ready in three weeks. Prosecutors opposed
the request, with the judge writing that both sides should
(01:23):
proceed as if the early May trial date remains in place.
You know, they've all had this time to prepare. Why
do they need an extra two months. That's what I'm
not understanding. Maybe because they need to find more things more.
FKA Twigs and Cardi B are set to headline the
Ladyland Festival in Brooklyn under the k Bridge at the
end of June.
Speaker 4 (01:40):
That's short for the Koskiowskan Bridge.
Speaker 5 (01:42):
After having to cancel her Coachella performance. FKA Twiggs's recent
US visa issues have been resolved and she's going to
be taking the stage on the twenty eighth, while Cardi
B is set to tear things up on the twenty seventh.
Also on the lineup some New York City club staples
like Danny Taneglia Boris, and Kevin Aviance remember those guys.
Speaker 2 (01:59):
Mmmm.
Speaker 4 (02:00):
If you're a big club kid, you definitely do.
Speaker 5 (02:02):
And Hailey Steinfeld, she just dropped her first single in
two years called Dangerous, which is off the soundtrack of
her highly anticipated movie Sinners, which is now playing. It's
the new thriller with the very sexy Michael B. Jordan
and yes, Hailey Steinfeld in it too, and I've been
hearing that it's already getting great reviews. Now it's the
perfect weekend to check it out because it's gonna be
gorgeous and if you're a movie buff, it was directed
(02:23):
by Oscar nominated filmmaker Ryan Kugler. He actually did Black
Panther and Creed, so you know what you're in for.
Definitely go see Sinners this weekend. Plus if you go tomorrow,
it's sneak Peaks Saturday, so you also get to see.
Speaker 4 (02:35):
Previews of the upcoming summer blockbusters. And that is the
dirt to dish.
Speaker 2 (02:39):
What is Sinners about. I've been hearing a lot about Sinners.
Does anybody know?
Speaker 4 (02:42):
So Michael B.
Speaker 5 (02:43):
Jordan he's playing a twin, which is wild. He's playing
two people like at once. So I've seen that and I.
Speaker 6 (02:50):
Looked at the trailer. It's like it looks like it
might be a vampire movie or maybe not.
Speaker 2 (02:55):
I don't know.
Speaker 5 (02:55):
It's confusing, but everyone keeps saying how great it is.
Speaker 4 (02:59):
So I'm kind of all right.
Speaker 2 (03:01):
Let's go to Jakie Balls Sports right now, brought to
you by Resorts World Casino. Check out their site right now.

Speaker 3 (04:13):
They bypass.
Speaker 2 (04:15):
Yeah. Yeah. She helped him what was an incredibly bad recovery.
This guy had a really bad recovery and she helped
him back to life. I mean it was almost at
the point of death. Apparently when he came.
Speaker 3 (04:26):
Out of that, he nursed him back to health. She
was amazing partner to him. And what did he do well?
Speaker 2 (04:33):
What happened was is she remained obese because she didn't
go in for the surgery. He comes out of the
surgery and then after recovery looking like a brand new man,
and he's cheating.
Speaker 8 (04:44):
Now as usual. It's all about him.
Speaker 9 (04:47):
No no, no, no, no no no no no, carrying.
Speaker 8 (04:53):
Your vomit buckets to your bedside, and of course I'm
backing my stuff. I can't anymore, you can't you I'd
let it.
Speaker 10 (05:07):

can't do that, and also I can't bust you to
take care of me.
Speaker 9 (05:28):
Of course you could use me.
Speaker 12 (05:29):
There was no way that you would have done the
same for me and showed up like that that I did.
Speaker 9 (05:34):
That's ridiculous.
Speaker 2 (05:35):
This guy with his brand new body. Huh, his brand
new body was out on the streets as soon as
he wait to hear the update on that one, that
is uh. Of course, War of the Roses, Fraud Friday

fraud Friday's all about in just a couple of minutes.
And then we got Teacher of the Week at seven
o'clock right here. And of course Marie getting ready for
her Easter. What did she just hit me with us
(05:57):
a few minutes ago. She's going to her.
Speaker 3 (05:59):
Yes, it's the Easter parade and bonnet festival. It happens
every Easter, you guys since eighteen seventies.
Speaker 2 (06:07):
Of all, nobody here is excited.
Speaker 3 (06:11):
You will be when you join me.
Speaker 2 (06:12):

been constructing all week.
Speaker 4 (06:16):
Yeah, she showed me pictures. I said, you've been building
this thing.
Speaker 3 (06:19):

to be there to see it.
Speaker 2 (06:22):

be anywhere near parade.
Speaker 3 (06:26):
You will not let me down. My crew members will
not let me down, and you will show up and
support Marie and her Easter bond.
Speaker 2 (06:33):
Can't do that.
Speaker 3 (06:35):
This is Tell me what I love my pet turtle.
Speaker 4 (06:37):
I'm sorry, Tell Sammy what it is.
Speaker 3 (06:41):
I have been collecting vintage Easter cards and postcards for
my hat. I have flowers, picket fence, bunny rabbits, and
lots and lots of tool.
Speaker 13 (06:54):
But that's all I'm gonna say.
Speaker 3 (06:56):
It's all going on on your head. Can you tell
them what color it is on my hat? I have
many different It's a hat of many different colors.
Speaker 2 (07:04):
And this is a tradition. It's a tradition. Where's it God?
Speaker 3 (07:07):
We start on Fifth Avenue and we go past Saint
Patrick's Cathedral, and it's gonna be beautiful weather, It's gonna
be fantastic and I can't wait to see.
Speaker 2 (07:17):
You, Samantha. I know this is your first year in town, Samantha,
And I know this is your first year in town.
This is something that happens every year and these women
and there's a few guys out there that do the
big bonnets and it's a half Easter half bonnet parade.
And they were like, I remember going to it because
Marina wanted to do it a few years ago. This
guy's tired hat. The entire hat, his entire bonnet was
made out of metro cards.
Speaker 3 (07:37):
Yeah, I mean, people get really creative. You should come, Samanthew,
for sure. Fun. They decorate jackets, They'll have blazers with
lamp heeps.

the T shirt a week. Tipping your roll, please, Anthony.
Speaker 3 (08:49):
Our teacher of the Week was nominated by Liz Escobar
and it is Christine Passe from Summit Lane School in Levittown,
New York. Relating Christine, this is what Liz, our nominator
(09:09):
says about Christine.
Speaker 4 (09:12):
Missus.
Speaker 3 (09:12):
Passe is the definition of a dedicated educator. She goes
above and beyond and everything she does making learning exciting
and engaging for her students. Both of my children had
the privilege of being in her class. Six years apart,
and both absolutely loved her. She has a special way
(09:33):
of inspiring her students and fostering a love for learning.
Speaker 4 (09:38):
Is that great?
Speaker 2 (09:39):
Great Marie, when she reads these things, it's like she's
reading to a bunch of kids.
Speaker 4 (09:45):
Story time.
Speaker 2 (09:46):
We know it's storytime with Marie Gatherleroude.
Speaker 3 (09:51):
And I love learning about our teachers. This is great.
Speaker 4 (09:53):
I love that about Liz.
Speaker 2 (09:55):
Congratulations, Christine, you got a big old box of Bank
cookies coming your way. We love you UH as a listener,
and we love you as a teacher and everything you've

because cookie by just because cookie love it by somebody
just because cookie box from Bangcookies dot com. And uh again,
congratulations love, We love you for listening. All right, let's
(11:00):
just got to ask her entertainment, what's happened.
Speaker 5 (11:02):
In Astra Sizza just launched her beauty brand. It's called
Not Beauty, and Not represents a reminder to not imitate
other brands and to stay true to oneself, which I
think is pretty cool. Now she's got three shades of
lip gloss and as of now, the only way you're
able to get your hands on them is by going
to the Grand National Tour, which she's currently on with
Kendrick Lamar.
Speaker 4 (11:20):
So when they're in town, get those tickets and get
your lip class.
Speaker 5 (11:23):
Remember how everyone thought Serena Williams's Super Bowl dance was
a dig at Drake, Well it wasn't. In a recent
interview with time. She said it was meant to be
a shout out to her hometown and nothing more. She
claimed she would never take a shot at Drake and
never had negative feelings towards him, and she even called
those who thought.
Speaker 4 (11:38):
She was dissing him sad will naw Zac.
Speaker 5 (11:40):
So you asked about the other day, Hollywood is reassuring
his fans that he's on the mend, saying he's getting better, y'all.
Speaker 4 (11:46):
I promise.
Speaker 5 (11:47):
He hasn't confirmed his actual diagnosis yet, but it's speculated
that he might be dealing with Bell's palsy or Ramsey
Hunt syndrome, which, if you remember, that is what Justin
Bieber battled. Lisa's in good spirits and he's been telling
everyone to stop being.
Speaker 4 (11:59):
Sad for him.
Speaker 5 (12:00):
And finally, Post Malone and Todd Graves, the owner of
Raising Canes, they surprised kids at a recording studio in
Nashville with a five hundred thousand dollars donation to Notes
for Notes, which is a nonprofit that provides access to
instruments and music instruction.
Speaker 2 (12:14):
Now.
Speaker 5 (12:14):
The money came from the sales of a limited edition
Raising Kine's Post Malone poster last October and As an
added bonus, Posty and Todd also provided a private music
lesson for the kids at the recording studio, which I
think is so incredible. As you know, he's been working
on his second country album in Nashville, and he has
a new duet with Morgan Wallan called I Ain't Coming
Back coming out on April eighteenth. This isn't the first
(12:36):
time post he was generous with money, because he previously
surprised a single mom bartender in Houston with a twenty
thousand dollars tip on Christmas Eve. When's post he coming
to visit us? And that is the dirt to dish.
Speaker 2 (12:47):
I don't think I've ever met anybody nicer and post
Malone so soon forty five years I've been in radio
interviewing these knuckleheads. This guy was just just such a
nice guy.
Speaker 4 (12:57):
He's a genuine stand up guy.
Speaker 3 (12:59):
I got my post Malone cup at Raisin Kenes. Did
you very excited? I still have it?
Speaker 2 (13:04):
You know who?
Speaker 10 (13:05):
Wait?
Speaker 2 (13:05):
Wait, Marie Mrie, you know who post Malone is? Yeah?
Speaker 3 (13:07):
Yeah, he's that singer, that very hypnotic singer. He has
that song.
Speaker 6 (13:12):
I'm legitimately shocked.
Speaker 14 (13:14):
That that has that song. That's so, that's so clear.
I don't I'm gonna be honest with you. I don't
like the tattoos all over the face. Oh so she
does know who he is.
Speaker 3 (13:25):
But but I think he's fabulous. I think he's a
I think he's a really nice voice. His songs are great.
Speaker 2 (13:33):
Let me see. Speaking of artists, we got one more
pair of tickets to see Kesha at the Garden. We'll
give those away in a minute. And then, by the way,
I don't know if you know this crew, but next
week we start giving away the weekend weekend tickets.
Speaker 4 (13:43):
Weeks he puts on a good.
Speaker 6 (13:45):
Show, really good show. I saw him at a giant stadium,
really good.
Speaker 4 (13:50):
I think I saw him at the Garden.
Speaker 2 (13:51):
I've never seen him live, never seen him live. So
you're going, yeah, so the weekend tickets all week. I
can't say that enough. Coming next on K to You,
K to You, very proud to announce that Fraud Friday
is doing very well with our listeners. It's like right
before the war. You know, we do all kinds of
(14:12):
things in this morning show. Yeah, we we do what
we do Fraud Friday. We do war the Roses, we
do Roulette, karaoke. Uh, just teaching the week, We give
away trips, yep, tired, get fired. There's We do more
on this morning show than any other morning show in
New York City period. And I'm not I'm not bragging.
I'm both. Yeah, I'm bragging because it's a lot of
hard work, So I am the other.
Speaker 6 (14:32):
Morning shows they just prank people and that's it.
Speaker 2 (14:35):
Yeah, that's it. But we can be boring. We try
to give you a lot of variety and fraud Friday,
of course, every Friday at eight twenty right here on
this radio facility, on this morning show, and today we're
going to cover a piece of fraud that is running
rampant throughout the country. It's this traveler agency fraud going on.
In fact, the Post and then I think it was NBC,
(14:55):
they did a story on an elderly couple that was
taken by this by this piece of fraud, by this
a scam and.
Speaker 6 (15:01):
The couple lost how much twenty three thousand.
Speaker 2 (15:06):
Well, our listener out of the Bronx, our listener lost
twelve grand. He lost twelve thousand. He called us up.
Check this out. Supposed to leave this Tuesday, it's Friday today,
supposed to leave Tuesday on a cruise for Greece, flying
to Miami and hasn't heard it from anybody in two weeks.
(15:26):
This is when we get her on the phone. This
is a little piece of what you're gonna hear when
Marie and I get this travel agency on the phone.
Speaker 10 (15:34):
They have a trip coming up, and the trip is booked,
and you book your trip through me, and the trip
is happening. So it's all confirmed. Everything that you planned
on going to Greece. You're going to go to Greece
path in Stanserini. Mikan knows you were going to film Mediterranean.
Speaker 12 (15:48):
That is all books.
Speaker 2 (15:50):
They don't have anything, they don't have an itinerary, they
have nothing, well, absolutely nothing. You are not going to
believe how bad this is going to get for you. Okay, Now,
I don't know if you own a real travel agency
or not, or if this entire thing is a scam.
Speaker 15 (16:06):
They're not even there anymore. It's not even it's not
even an open.
Speaker 3 (16:09):
Yeah, how we're where's this confirmation information?
Speaker 10 (16:13):
Well, that's why we've been calling back and forth. I mean,
we do everything.
Speaker 2 (16:16):
His wife and Jack say, you have not returned their
phone calls in over two weeks.
Speaker 15 (16:20):
Twelve thousand dollars, those flights.
Speaker 2 (16:24):
And the cruise crazy huh yeah, so we're gonna go
after twelve thousand dollars, it gets for really heated. Like
most of the frauds, it's gonna get extremely heated. Eight
twenty today, Fraud Friday. Right here on k TU excuse
me one O three five K to you to beat
them New York, the Hollywood Hamilton Show and the k
T Morning Crew coming up next to War of the Roses.
(16:45):
I just got another text from or another DM from
a teacher. By the way, Teacher of the Week just
happened a few minutes ago. Who's a winner again? Just
about a half hour go.
Speaker 3 (16:51):
There, Christine Passe.
Speaker 2 (16:54):
Christine Passe got herself a big old box of Bang cookies.
Teacher the Week. Anyway, I just got another a DM
from a teacher just a few minutes ago saying how
bad my grammar is and I should be a shamed
being on the radio. You know how many throughout my
entire career, throughout my Anastra always likes to poke a
little fun at me at this, but my whole entire career,
(17:14):
forty five years on the radio, I have the worst grammar.
I can barely speak. I can't spell. I don't even
know how to add. I'm just I'm an.
Speaker 3 (17:23):
Ill a D student in grammar. D student and gets very.
Speaker 13 (17:29):
Creative, very creative and interesting and funny.
Speaker 6 (17:33):
Sam's positive Sam.
Speaker 3 (17:36):
Students out.
Speaker 10 (17:38):
Sam.
Speaker 2 (17:38):
I did not bring this up to get to get
stroked by you, but just by the way. I love
it when you do it, and I appreciate it.
Speaker 4 (17:45):
But it's true, though, the creative ones make the most mistakes.
Speaker 3 (17:48):
And see you're saying.
Speaker 13 (17:49):
And if there's students out there who struggle with their
spelling or their grammar, don't worry. You will study and
get better. And you too, can it up on the radio.
Speaker 3 (17:57):
Like you have an opportunity to show your should you down?
Do you see what Hollywood just said there? Do you
see the way he phrased that we don't want to
do that? Timmy a little different thing.
Speaker 4 (18:09):
I want you to go to college.
Speaker 3 (18:11):
Teachers can use you as as as what you should
and shouldn't say.
Speaker 2 (18:15):
Grant, it's literally my entire career. I've just received so
many emails, and before there was emails, I would get calls,
and before calls, I would receive telegrams and before.
Speaker 4 (18:26):
Telegram, would you get smoke signals too?
Speaker 2 (18:29):
And smoke signals?
Speaker 13 (18:30):
I can't speak, and I just you know, I just
And yet you do write well, and I'm not giving
you the long stroke.
Speaker 3 (18:37):
You're a very good writer. Maybe you can't spell, but
you could write and create creativity.
Speaker 2 (18:43):
I forgot what her name was. Her name was Jessica,
and I forgot what. Anyways, Jessica, I'll work on it
and thank you for reminding me. How Yeah, okay, so
this uh, this is man and wife. This husband and
this husband and wife were extremely overweight. He goes in

Almost a year ago my husband, who we're both kind
of bigger people, you know, and he was over three
hundred pounds and I'm around I fluctuate between two fifty
and three. And he decided almost a year ago to
go and get the bariatric surgery where you get the
(20:26):
gastric sleeve. You know, it takes your right your big,
big tummy and makes it a little tummy.
Speaker 2 (20:33):
What did he lose after that gastric sleeve?
Speaker 8 (20:36):
He lost one hundred and seven pounds.
Speaker 2 (20:39):
Wow.
Speaker 8 (20:40):
I mean, I don't want to be the big one now,
you know, and you feel like you are?
Speaker 15 (20:46):
I know, I am.
Speaker 8 (20:47):
I look at us and I am. We had some
moments in the in the healing process that I wasn't
really sure about if he was going to even make it,
but I got him back better than ever and he
went back to work when we were dealing with the complications.
(21:08):
He I, it got really close a couple of times
for me to I didn't know if he was.
Speaker 12 (21:18):
Really gonna either make it or anything.
Speaker 8 (21:21):
And I got him back to a strong place and
he he went.
Speaker 12 (21:31):
And now he's this, you know, good looking sinner.
Speaker 8 (21:35):
God.
Speaker 2 (21:36):
Oh boy, I'm sorry. Okay, So he's out there on this. Yeah, okay,
we say no more, say no more. I don't want
to put you through.
Speaker 3 (21:45):
But yet you're not feeling good about yourself either.
Speaker 2 (21:48):
So could this be something in your head where you're.
Speaker 8 (21:50):
Not No, it's not in my head.
Speaker 12 (21:53):
Okay, it's not it's not in my head.
Speaker 8 (21:55):
He doesn't answer the phone in front of me.
Speaker 12 (21:58):
The phone rings late, he comes home late, break it down.
Speaker 2 (22:03):
What do you think here?
Speaker 3 (22:04):
I think we should, if anything, just to give Kate
a peace of mind, okay, that everything's okay and in
her marriage.
Speaker 2 (22:14):
God, here we go, Here we go.
Speaker 3 (22:23):
Hi, Dennis, how are you today?
Speaker 12 (22:25):
Good?
Speaker 9 (22:26):
How are you?
Speaker 3 (22:27):
This is Marie from Morristown Memorial Hospital. Did I call
you at a bad time? Do you have a moment?
Speaker 8 (22:34):
Sure?
Speaker 9 (22:34):
Sure, not a problem?
Speaker 3 (22:36):
Okay, great, Thank you so much for taking the time
to talk with me. We want to congratulate you on
your tremendous weight loss. I understand, well what we have
written down here is one hundred and seven pounds already.
Speaker 9 (22:51):
Yes, it's been life altering. It has just changed my
life completely. It's been just a godsend. I mean I
even hold my bariotric surgeon a couple a couple of
weeks ago and I was just so thankful, And it's
just been just an amazing life changing experience. It's just
been great.
Speaker 3 (23:11):
Well, we really want to congratulate you again because I'm
sure it was a lot of work on your part.
As a congratulations to you, we would like to give
you a dozen long stem roses for you.
Speaker 2 (23:28):
Wow.
Speaker 3 (23:29):
Good for you, Dennis.
Speaker 9 (23:31):
Really thank you.
Speaker 3 (23:32):
As a pay it Forward program, you have the ability
to send these roses out to someone special in your
life and the company will attach a note for you
on your behalf.
Speaker 9 (23:44):
Do you have to send it to my office?
Speaker 2 (23:46):
Well?
Speaker 3 (23:47):
I wish I could, but I think the company is
requesting that you pay it forward. You know, you had
this amazing experience of losing one hundred and seven pounds.
Maybe you would like to bless someone else with something
that will make them happy.
Speaker 9 (24:04):
Like people that have gone through this or like it's just.
Speaker 3 (24:07):
To pay it forward sort of program that the hospital
is working with a flower company. Do you have a wife,
girlfriend that you maybe would like to send these roses to,
because just.
Speaker 9 (24:20):
For me, I think it would be great. I wish
you guys could just send it to me. That would
be awesome.
Speaker 8 (24:25):
What about your wife, Dennis, you don't think it'd be
a good idea to maybe to maybe thank her.
Speaker 12 (24:33):
For all the tell her how much you love her.
Send the flowers to your wife? Dennis, Dennis.
Speaker 2 (24:41):
Okay, Dennis, Dennis, listen to me, Dennis, listen to me.
My name's My name's Hollywood Hamilton. I'm with a radio
organization called iHeartMedia. Don't say anything. Marie and I work
together on the show called War of the Roses on
w KTU radio on the iHeartRadio platform. That's Kate, your wife.
That's she's been on the phone the entire time. I
(25:03):
don't know how you want to proceed with this, Kate?
Speaker 9 (25:06):
Why why listen?
Speaker 15 (25:11):
Uh?
Speaker 9 (25:12):
I don't know.
Speaker 11 (25:13):
I not know something.
Speaker 10 (25:17):
I just.
Speaker 15 (25:21):
I listen, all right.
Speaker 2 (25:24):
All right, you listen, Dennis, Dennis, Dennis, here's the deal.
You know, we we know the backstory. We know how
much weight you've lost. Obviously, we're obviously not with the
medical center in Morristown, New Jersey, where you know. Kate
called this radio facility because she has suspicions of you cheating.
Why wouldn't you send them to your wife, but.
Speaker 3 (25:41):
You insisted that they go to your office.
Speaker 10 (25:45):
I don't know.
Speaker 9 (25:46):
I just I'm sorry, Kate. I wasn't thinking.
Speaker 11 (25:49):
I just thought, hey, you know what, I had a
wife at home.
Speaker 2 (25:52):
You could have rose to your wife after everything she's
been through and everything she's done for you.
Speaker 11 (25:56):
I felt so good about myself, and I just thought, hey,
you know what, I kind of just I thought I
deserved it.
Speaker 2 (26:03):
He's spinning it, spinning it like a time.
Speaker 3 (26:07):
Yeah, have you forgotten you're married? You are married, You're
still married, Dennis.
Speaker 9 (26:11):
I was just in a moment, and I just didn't think.
I didn't think.
Speaker 3 (26:16):
It's all about you as usual, It's all about him.
Speaker 5 (26:20):
No no, no, no, no, no all no no no, by your side,
carrying your vomit buckets to your bedside.
Speaker 9 (26:30):
No, of course you're I'm.
Speaker 12 (26:32):
Packing my stuff.
Speaker 8 (26:33):
I can't anymore.
Speaker 10 (26:35):
You can't tell you're not.
Speaker 12 (26:39):
I'd let it go on too long, way too long.
Speaker 11 (26:44):
Okay, we talked about this. You had your opportunity. You
could have done this and you could come to.
Speaker 2 (26:51):
The gym with me.
Speaker 12 (26:52):
Opportunity. You know, I have an outstanding condition that that
I can't do that, and also I can't trust you
of me.
Speaker 9 (27:01):
You could use me.
Speaker 12 (27:03):
There was no way that you would have done the
same for me and showed up like that I did.
Speaker 9 (27:07):
That's ridiculous.
Speaker 2 (27:09):
No, you don't call Kate ridiculous. She was there by
your side.
Speaker 9 (27:12):
Of the You have to meet me halfway, don't you understand?
Speaker 12 (27:15):
Half way?
Speaker 10 (27:16):
Halfway with your.
Speaker 12 (27:17):
New clothes and your new haircuts, and you'r and you're
and you're you're carrying on with your mirror selfies all
the time. I see your.
Speaker 2 (27:30):
Three five.
Speaker 9 (27:30):
What do you think everyone could be doing the same
thing we could.
Speaker 2 (27:35):
We'd love to get people's input on this. One eight
hundred two four five one oh three five. Okay, Kate,
We're gonna check back with you in three months. Marie.
Will you talked to her off the air a little bit? Yeah?
Speaker 3 (27:45):
Absolutely, Kay, we'll talk Dennis.
Speaker 2 (27:48):
Think about Dennis, think about the future. Think about where
you're gonna go from here on out. After that. Okay,
we're gonna know what. We also need to talk to
you off the air as well, real quick, Dennis, Please
hold on, please hold on, Please.
Speaker 3 (27:58):
Hold think about your marriage, Your marriage, not Dnis anymore.
Speaker 2 (28:02):

top of it. When you use their low cost central
station monitoring system, you are going to get again free
an LED touchscreen, pack, ten contacts, a backup battery and
a service plan. Dal pound two to fifty. Say the

Keep your family safe during troubling times. Call my friends
at Sloman Style Pound two point fifty and say the
keyword Sloman's. Let's talk a little bit about the update.
(29:08):
Episode two thirty seven entitled cutting the Fat so uh,
interesting stuff here. So after Dennis promised, promised Kate that
he'd settled down the vainness a bit, she ended up
giving Dennis another shot up until just a month ago
he went out and he purchased a brand new sports
car and then it was a Porsche or something like that.
(29:30):
And not once, Kate told us, not once, but three times,
ended up not coming home till two three o'clock in
the morning, three different weekends. And she said, that's it.
They're getting a divorce. She has moved out. She's currently
living in a home with her mom. Moved out of
the house. Divorce proceedings are underway. Sadly, Dennis and Kate
are getting a divorce. And that's your update. Uh. Brand
(29:53):
new Ward of Roses Ward Rose is going off Monday,
Monday seven forty right here on the Hollywood Hamilton Show
and the Kate to You Morning Crew.
Speaker 1 (30:02):
Tell you Ktu Lake Success New York up and at him,
gets Hollywood, Hamilton and the CaCu Morning.
Speaker 17 (30:11):
Crew, the Beat of New York three five k c you,
kt you and we got Astra Entertainment coming up next,
and of course Jake Balls Sports Fraud Friday happening at
eight twenty.
Speaker 2 (30:23):
This is a big one. That travel agency scam is
running all over the country.
Speaker 15 (30:26):
Uh.
Speaker 2 (30:27):
A couple of listeners got taken it in the Bronx.
We're gonna help them get twelve grand back in about
twenty five minutes and we're gonna go to Astra in
just a minute. But before we go to Astra, I
just want to remind everyone you can join us in
the Dominican Republic. As you might remember, for the last
almost three months, we've been giving away trips to listeners.
I think, Samantha, tell me if I'm wrong. Are the
trips no longer? We run out of trips? Where we're done? Well,
(30:48):
that was it.
Speaker 13 (30:49):
We're gonna take one more from the web. I think
we pull it today or tomorrow and that's it.
Speaker 2 (30:53):
So yeah, the last day, right, Today's the last day. Okay. So,
so people can get up on kt you dot com
and they can sign up for a dr at a
k com last last free trip yep mm hm. And
we're gonna announce the winner this Monday. But after that,
it's it's that's it. And if you'd like to get
a really good deal, we're cutting a real good deal
for Kate to you listeners only. If you'd like to
(31:14):
still join us in the Dominican Republic, go to kateto
dot com. You'll see all the information over there, look
into it. We'd love for I think I'm speaking on
behalf of the entire crew. We'd love to see you.
Speaker 3 (31:25):
We'd love for you to join us.
Speaker 4 (31:26):
I'm secrets tides baby.
Speaker 6 (31:29):
Perfect time for a girl's trip, all girls, that's right.
Speaker 5 (31:34):
And also big thank you to Shoreline Destinations for making
it possible.
Speaker 4 (31:38):
Yes, sure line.
Speaker 2 (31:41):
All right now, she just poked her little pretty head
in right there, there's Astra and now it's Astra Entertainment.
What's going on?
Speaker 5 (31:48):
Oh man, I'm I'm putting my head down at this
point because a federal grand jury just gave a four
count indictment against the alleged CEO killer Luigi Maggione, charging
him with charging him with two counts of stalking, firearms
offence and murder through the use of a firearm, which
is a charge that will make him eligible for the
(32:08):
death penalty if he gets convicted. Attorney General Pam Bondi
already signaled her intention to push for the death penalty,
which his lawyers are actively trying to stop. Diddy's lawyers
asked a federal judge to delay his May fifth sex
trafficking trial by two months so they can better prepare
a defense that the lawyers are saying prosecutors have been
slow when it comes to turning over some potential evidence
(32:31):
for review, which is making it difficult for them to
be ready in three weeks. The prosecutors opposed the request,
with the judge writing that both sides should proceed as
if the early May trial dates.
Speaker 4 (32:39):
Remain in place.
Speaker 5 (32:40):
And yet I still don't understand why they need extra
time when they've had.
Speaker 4 (32:44):
All this time.
Speaker 5 (32:45):
Hailey Steinfeld, she just dropped her first single in two years.
Speaker 4 (32:50):
It's called Dangerous.
Speaker 5 (32:51):
It's off the soundtrack of her highly anticipated movie Sinners,
which is now playing.
Speaker 4 (32:56):
It's the new thriller with Oh very sexy Michael b.
Jordy and I just have to say that.
Speaker 5 (33:01):
And yes, Hailey Steinfeld's in it. Too, and I've been
hearing that it's already getting great reviews. Now it's the
perfect weekend because it's gonna beautiful. Go out, check it out.
And if you are a movie buff, you'll be happy
to know it was directed by Oscar nominated filmmaker Ryan Coogler,
who did Black Panther and Creed, so you definitely know
what you are in for. So go see Centers this
weekend and tomorrow. Sneak peaks Saturday at the theaters. So
(33:23):
you're also gonna get a preview of all of the
upcoming summer blockbusters. I know you're gonna be running their
Hollywood because there's a few movies I heard you wanted
to go see, and that is the dirt to dish.
Speaker 2 (33:32):
All right, let's go to Jakie Ball Sports brought to
you by Resorts World Casino. Check them out. It's a
lot of fun and a whole lot of winning. Visit
OURW dot com. That's their site over at Resorts World Casino.
It's visit OURW dot com.
Speaker 7 (33:44):
Jakie NMLB News Day Yanks take Game one against the
division rivals in the Tampa Bay Rays. Mex Dot off
the series with a bang taking out the Cardinals in
Game one in NBA.
Speaker 2 (33:56):
Tomorrow is the big day.
Speaker 7 (33:57):
As the Knicks take on the Pistons and one of
the playoffs.
Speaker 2 (34:01):
Let's see if the Knicks got it this year. And
that's how a ball swing. Great job, Jakie coming up next.
This is crazy. It's gonna be bananas, It's gonna be nuts. Next,
Fraud Friday.
Speaker 16 (34:14):
K tu, you are about to hear a feature that
was created to expose the scammers, thieves, and con artists
among us. The dialogue and temperament about to be used
by Hollywood Hamilton does not necessarily reflect the views and
opinions of iHeartMedia. This is Fraud Friday.
Speaker 2 (34:35):
Ah, what an interesting one. I think, Well, you know,
I think we're on episode number fifteen of Fraud Friday.
We've covered it all, we've covered it all, but we haven't
covered the the travel agency world. Samantha brought us to
my attention. You might think that you might have thought
that travel agencies are like a thing of the past,
but they are not still much coming handy when you
know nothing about your dream destination. Jack, are you are
(34:57):
you there? Can you hear me?
Speaker 15 (34:58):
Yes? They can?
Speaker 2 (35:00):
Jack called us up and he thinks he might have
been taken for a large amount of money. Him and
his wife were planning on going to Greece. They were
gonna leave out of Miami. I'm gonna let Jack take
it from there. And now he thinks that this travel
agency because they're supposed to be leaving this Tuesday, Tuesday,
and it's Friday.
Speaker 15 (35:18):
My wife book the cruise, no itinery, there's no paperwork,
we didn't get an email, we didn't get a phone call.
So you know, I'm really concerned and I'm worried that
we got scammed over here.
Speaker 2 (35:29):
Okay, so you've been trying to reach out to this
it's called travel agency, and this woman's name is Maureen,
and you've been calling her quite frequent, according to Sammy,
the last week and a half, and she's now not
returning her phone calls. Is that correct?
Speaker 10 (35:44):
Correct?
Speaker 15 (35:45):
We're a few days out and I can't even get
her on the phone.
Speaker 2 (35:48):
Yeah, Okay.
Speaker 15 (35:50):
My wife's friend told her that we could be getting
scammed because she's read it in the newspaper. And I
think that maybe because we got no itinery and we
put twelve thousand dollars every.
Speaker 3 (36:01):
Getting twelve yea, Oh, my gosh, yeah.
Speaker 10 (36:08):
It's.
Speaker 2 (36:10):
Where are you from, Jack? Where are you from?
Speaker 15 (36:12):
From the Bronx?
Speaker 2 (36:13):
This Maureene is from the Sable agency right next to
you there in Long Island City, not too far from you.
And we understand that, Anthony. You tried to call Maureen
last night and she did pick up the phone. She's
continuing to run the scam. She's just getting back a jack, Jack.
Speaker 3 (36:29):
This travel agency was it a brick and mortar facility
or was it online? How did you book this cruise?
Speaker 15 (36:36):
My wife she went down to the store. Was there?
My wife booked the trip. Everything was good. We thought
we were going. So we didn't hit back from Maureen
the world.
Speaker 2 (36:45):
What the deal was. It was actually a store, It
was actually.
Speaker 15 (36:48):
A was It was not even there anymore. It's not
even it's not.
Speaker 3 (36:53):
Even Wow, you're kidding me.
Speaker 15 (36:56):
She went down there and dropped the credit card and
they yes, the full amount, twelve thousand dollars. And we
didn't get any intinerary. We got nothing.
Speaker 2 (37:07):
And we know we know, okay, Jack, we know that Jack.
But so you went down with her where she plopped
the money down, and then you saw for your own
eyes that there's this facility.
Speaker 3 (37:18):
No longer open.
Speaker 15 (37:19):
Wow, okay, and my wife and I are fighting and
I don't want to happen.
Speaker 2 (37:24):
But she can't come down, I know, but you can't
come down on your wife. She didn't know.
Speaker 15 (37:28):
This is what we put away in on day to
travel and enjoy life, and now we'll get scammed.
Speaker 2 (37:34):
All right, Jack, here's the good news. So Anthony, our
producer called, I guess the number was a cell number
that this Maureen woman gave your wife and the cell
is still very much operational. What happened, Anthony? After you
asked for Maureen.
Speaker 6 (37:50):
She picked talk to her for a little bit. I
asked her about a just a trip to like Miami
or something. I kept the generic.
Speaker 3 (37:56):
She totally lied to you about a trip to So
she's continuing with this stam.
Speaker 6 (38:03):
And yeah, she was pretty persuasive too. She actually she
knew her stuff.
Speaker 2 (38:06):
That's pretty exactly. All right, Well, we can't get through
to her. That's the good news, Jack. All right, welcome
to Fraud Friday. In a minute, we're gonna be calling
Maureen and we're gonna try to get some of your
money back. Where you know, we got a pretty good
success ratio on the show. We got about an eighty
five percent success ratio. And Jack, I guess what is
a flask question? What's the total amount? I need to
know the total amount that this woman or this company
(38:29):
establishment has taken you for?
Speaker 15 (38:30):
How much twelve thousand, six hundred and ninety nine dollars?
Speaker 3 (38:34):
Ooh oh, all right here, my goodness.
Speaker 2 (38:37):
Next on Fraud Friday, let's see what we can do.
Speaker 16 (38:40):
You're listening to Fraud Friday with the KTU Morning Crew.
We'll be right back with part two when Hollywood and
Marine make the call. Buckle up because things are about
to get rough.
Speaker 2 (38:53):
And we'll be recorded. All right, here we go. Did she,
by the way, Anthony, last night, did she pick up
the phone and say? Was it the travel Algiency? Or
did she just hello? How did she it was? She did? Okay? Yeah, okay, here.
Speaker 12 (39:05):
We go.
Speaker 10 (39:09):
All agency?
Speaker 3 (39:11):
Hi?
Speaker 2 (39:12):
Uh?
Speaker 3 (39:12):
Who am I speaking with?
Speaker 16 (39:14):
Hi?
Speaker 10 (39:14):
This is Marine? How can I help you?
Speaker 3 (39:17):
Maureene? Hi, Maureene. My name is Marie and I am
I'm looking to travel to Italy and I'm hoping that
you can give me some help here because I don't
even know where to start.
Speaker 10 (39:29):
Can I ask where you heard about us? Well?
Speaker 3 (39:32):
Yeah, I actually drove by and I saw your sign.
You're in Long Island City right all online? Now do
you work a lot with Italy? Do you do book a.
Speaker 10 (39:43):
Lot for Italy?
Speaker 2 (39:45):
Well?
Speaker 3 (39:46):
I was really thinking of just doing Rome. I've never
been to Italy, so.
Speaker 10 (39:51):
Well, that's a great jumping off point is Rome, and
since it's centrally located and there's so many NonStop flights
from the US to Rome. Yeah, I I.
Speaker 3 (40:00):
Thought maybe I've never really been to Italy, so to.
Speaker 10 (40:04):
Doing like a three city a multiple city tour, because
I can get you a much better deal with a
multi city tour. Really, would you be traveling alone? Are
you traveling with other people a group?
Speaker 3 (40:16):
No, it would just be myself.
Speaker 10 (40:18):
Oh that's fantastic. We have a lot of trips designed
for the solo traveler. I thought start in Rome, and
then I would maybe go down to see a Malfy coast.
So we could do Naples, we could do Capri, we
could do Positano. That would be a lovely twelve day trip.
Speaker 3 (40:36):
Twelve days it's Italy.
Speaker 10 (40:38):
I mean, once you're there, honestly, you're not going to
want to leave.
Speaker 2 (40:41):
So I would set off with you know.
Speaker 10 (40:43):
Twelve days. I would even add an extra week extra.
I mean, it doesn't sound like.
Speaker 3 (40:47):
You travel a lot, so you trip well where else?
Speaker 10 (40:52):
Could also go North Florence, you could do Venice, you
could do testany Are you a wine drinker, Marie, sure?
Speaker 3 (40:59):
I like wine.
Speaker 10 (41:00):
Have this wine tour and you get to bike through Tuscany.
You can stop on the grates to watch the sunset.
It's going to be spectacular and instagrammable. I mean, all
your friends are going to be so jealous they didn't
come with you.
Speaker 3 (41:12):
I don't do Instagram or any of that stuff, but
it sounds nice trip and that I.
Speaker 10 (41:17):
Just need to know kind of what your preferences are.
Do you like a five star hotel?
Speaker 15 (41:21):
Oh?
Speaker 3 (41:22):
No, class? No, I could never fly first class. I'm
what's that like up there in that first class? I
have no idea.
Speaker 10 (41:29):
It's it's heaven in the sky, it's free drinks. It's
going to be a long trip, so you're gonna want
to fly first class. So when you arrive in Rome,
you're going to feel refreshed and just ready to go
to the coliseum. You want to see the Trevi Fountain.
Speaker 3 (41:41):
I don't know you're talking first class airfare five star hotels.
I just don't know if I'm comfortable doing.
Speaker 10 (41:48):
I want to get to you right now. There's so
many great deals going on right now. So I can
get you for one person a solo traveler, first class,
five star hotels, twelve to fourteen days. Let's we can
even do push a two weeks. I can get that
for under fifteen thousand at this point, and that is
a seal.
Speaker 3 (42:07):
I really thought it would be more than that.
Speaker 10 (42:12):
Hello, yes, yes, oh great, well we can even add
on more to the trip.
Speaker 3 (42:17):
So for the fifteen thousand dollars trip, what do you
need for the deposit? How much?
Speaker 10 (42:23):
And I will handle your transportation to and from the air.
Speaker 3 (42:26):
What up front? How much money deposit do you need
for this? Exactly the deposit? How much do you need?
Speaker 10 (42:33):
Yeh, for the deposit upfront for this trip? Considering I'm
arranging everything and I can get you such a great deal,
I would need close to twelve thousand dollars for the deposit,
just the leading book all these tours in all these hotels,
because it's going to be high season, sure, because otherwise that.
