now by way of Atlanta.

Speaker 3 (00:44):
Amy, are you there?

Speaker 4 (00:45):
Yeah, I'm here.

Speaker 2 (00:46):
She shows up at a property, a rental that she
had worked out with a real estate agent, to find
out that the entire thing was a scam.

Speaker 3 (00:58):
It was all fraud.

Speaker 2 (00:59):
No, and she's sitting in Brooklyn right now, is it Canarsie?

Speaker 3 (01:03):
Amy?

Speaker 5 (01:04):
Yeah, my U haul is in the parking lot.

Speaker 3 (01:07):
Are you living in your car right now? I mean
what No, I'm in a motel.

Speaker 5 (01:12):
But the U haul is like in the parking lot,
and I just I'm running out of money, so I'm
just freaked out.

friend Tracy for tipping you off to the show. Tracy's
a friend of Amy's, and that's how Amy got ahold
of us.

Speaker 3 (01:29):
Could you walk us through how this whole thing started.

Speaker 5 (01:32):
Yeah, So I was on Craigslist and I got in
touch with this woman and everything seems like it was
completely on the up and up. And so I went
through the whole thing and like got photos back and
I knocks on the door. There was no lock box,

(01:55):
and the people who came to the door, like no
one knew what the hell I was doing there, like
nobody knew who I was.

Speaker 2 (02:01):
Right, okay, and I just she paid first last security deposit,
a broker's fee. It came to seventy three hundred dollars.

Speaker 6 (02:13):
Whoo.

Speaker 7 (02:14):
So tell us about this real estate agent. I mean,
what's their story.

Speaker 5 (02:19):
So it's this woman and she said her name is Gabby,
and we talked for like two weeks.

Speaker 8 (02:23):
She sent me virtual tours.

Speaker 5 (02:25):
Everything looked like it was on the up and up.
I paid first last security broker's fee and an application
fee with the whole thing, and then I show up
and it was the same building.

Speaker 2 (02:38):
The photos that were sent to you were the same
as what the exterior of the apartment.

Speaker 5 (02:42):
That you Yes, Wow, she's not answering the phone, she's
not returning my email, like nothing, and I just feel
sick and I don't have a place to live, and like,
I just so my friend and I we both jumped
on Craiglist and we were looking in the like similar
area and just calling random numbers for like, we called

(03:04):
like fifteen or sixteen different places like real estate, and
we finally found this woman who answered and Gabriella, it
was the.

Speaker 2 (03:13):
Same woman, the same Wow, what a what a genius idea.

Speaker 3 (03:17):
They're scouring craigslist, but that was smart. They're hunting the predators.

Speaker 2 (03:21):
Now, this is a different number than the number you were.

Speaker 5 (03:24):
Yeah, that number is now disconnected and it.

Speaker 2 (03:27):
Says here in the email that you sent in order
to get on the show. Your friend called her and
just hung up. So we have a number, then we
have a valid number to call right now.

Speaker 9 (03:35):
Yeah, how lucky are you?

Speaker 6 (03:37):
I know?

Speaker 3 (03:38):
Right?

Speaker 5 (03:38):
Yeah, it only cost me seventy three hundred dollars.

Speaker 2 (03:41):
Lucky all right, all right, Amy, Amy, I'm sorry what
you're going through. Here's the deal. We have an eighty
eighty five percent success ratio. Okay, we either get partially
your money back or we get some of your money back.
We're gonna unload on this woman if we can get
her on the phone. We're gonna absolutely unload on her. Okay, Okay,
We're just gonna threaten her beyond.

Speaker 3 (04:01):
Yeah, I'm okay. All right, Okay, here we go, Here
we go.

Speaker 1 (04:05):

Amy's from Atlanta, and I know you know what we're
talking about. You know who this woman is. You've been
dealing with this woman for the last two weeks. You're
part of a fraud operation. In a minute, you're probably
going to ask yourself, Wait a minute, you're going to
put two and two together. How would this guy ever

(08:03):
know where I live?

Speaker 3 (08:04):
How would they know how to call me? I think

Can you identify the woman's voice? Is this the woman's voice?

Speaker 5 (08:19):

start calling people. We're gonna start having people knocking on

(08:51):
your front door. We're gonna trace you down.

Speaker 5 (08:53):
You owe me seventy three hundred dollars, and if you
don't give it back soon, you're also going to owe
me the overage on the U home and everything I've
had to spend on this hotel.

Speaker 2 (09:03):
Now, she's staying in a hotel in Canarsi right now,
and she's here.

Speaker 3 (09:06):
In a U haul and you owe money. Even the
apartment is rented to someone else. She's not saying anything.
She knows exactly what.

Speaker 4 (09:16):
I don't know what you want from me. I didn't
scam you at all. Okay, If you want your money
back because you couldn't make it in New York City,
then she went.

Speaker 3 (09:24):
To the address that you gave her. You told her
that there was a lock box.

Speaker 4 (09:28):
I'm not pleasing it for what I'm not If she
couldn't figure things out, then I mean, where's her apartment?

Listen to me, there was no What do you mean
if she couldn't handle it.

Speaker 11 (09:49):
We want the money back. If you're going to cooperate,
that's great. As long as we get the money back.
We want a cashier's check, and we will not pursue
further criminal charges.

Speaker 4 (09:58):
Could I could? I could tell you right now. Just
send me the phone number. I'll sell it right now.

off a Zell right now?

Speaker 3 (10:06):

gonna do is why we wait for the exchange.

get you the money.

Speaker 3 (11:00):
Probably I can just write venmo of money right to Amy.
What do you even think about that?

Speaker 11 (11:05):
No reason, I can't do that now. I don't want
to look at this money, not mine.

Diddy and his attorneys claimed the government has the more
complete version of the video, but they tweaked the order
of events and Diddy's claiming he didn't drag her down
the hall or threw a vase at her. He just
threw the contents of the bees. Hello, it was still

plea deal with him, requiring him to forfeit his ten
thousand dollars bond and do fifteen hours of community service,
where he actually did eighteen hours, and he should not
have been subjected to a second prosecution. However, the special

(15:24):
prosecutor said he's disappointed with the decision and respectfully disagrees
with overturning his criminal conviction. How would you like Shakira's

You're actually giving back forty percent of the proceeds made
from bang cookies backed into the school districts.

Speaker 9 (28:49):
Into the schools exactly.

And when you look at the average wow, wow, you
know yes, because average fundraisers are given back maybe even
ten percent of revenue. But what we've been doing is
we've been giving forty percent. And not only that, an
average fundraiser with US is generating between called eight to
thirty thousand dollars a fundraiser per two week period.

Speaker 6 (34:46):
Asked her not to see this woman anymore. I've asked politely,
I've been firm. I have done so many things to
try and get her to understand this is bad for
my daughter.

Speaker 3 (34:54):
Maybe maybe we should go to This might be a
really great woman.

Speaker 2 (34:57):

Is this strange? Pretty strange?

Speaker 2 (37:36):
Pretty up there, Catherine? Uh, this is McKenzie's dad you're
listening to there. That's as he's hot, Scott. You know
he wants his daughter home.

Speaker 6 (37:46):
Yeah, I want my daughter bat that she's twenty two
years old.

Speaker 4 (38:07):
What's going on?

Speaker 2 (38:12):
Mackenzie? My name is Hollywood Hamilton. I'm a radio personality
in New York at w KT. You're on something called
War of the Roses and Mackenzie, your dad's on the phone.
He's got a couple of things to say.

Speaker 3 (38:22):
He's really concerned, baby girl.

Speaker 6 (38:24):
You know I love you, right, I'm fine.

Speaker 4 (38:26):
I'm fine. I know you love me. I do.

Speaker 6 (38:29):
This is not healthy, you know, and I don't want.

Speaker 5 (38:32):
You like in living my life.

Speaker 4 (38:35):

I have it?

Speaker 8 (39:05):
First of all, I would like to clear this. First
of all, I turned sixty streets last month. I just
look really good and healthy for my age. She's twenty
two years old, she's an adult. She's a lovely woman,
she's very smart, she reads books, she's wonderful.

Speaker 7 (39:22):
Okay, yeah, but I mean there really is a significant
age gap between the two of you.

Speaker 3 (39:28):
You can understand.

Speaker 7 (39:29):
Scott's position that this is a little strange.

Speaker 8 (39:33):
And let really no, I just don't and.

Speaker 6 (39:36):
I mean not that I'm Catherine, do you have any children.

Speaker 8 (39:40):
I do. I have a twenty four year old. I
have a thirty two year old son, and I have
a daughter that's forty one and she lives in Kentucky.
She's very happy.

Speaker 6 (39:51):
You have children that are older than my daughter.

Speaker 3 (39:54):
Scott.

Speaker 2 (39:54):
I'm afraid there's nothing you're going to be able to
say right now to talk anybody out of anything. So
how do you want to end this?

Speaker 6 (40:01):
I want them to stop seeing each other, that's what
I want.

Speaker 7 (40:03):
Well, it's not happening. It's not happening at least right now.
And it sounds I don't know.

Speaker 8 (40:08):
I'm a wonderful mother.

Speaker 7 (40:10):
Yeah, but you shouldn't be your lover too, Okay, I
mean this whole thing is weird.

Speaker 2 (40:14):
Catherine, McKay put Mackenzie and we want to we want
to say goodbye to Mackenzie. Put her on, all right.
