one hour away from the listener feel good flashback track
of the day, one of my favorite features, where we
go back on it we hit you, Well, it's not
really us, it's listeners that hits you upside the head
with something that your ear hole will never hear coming,
and it's just out of nowhere. People send us their
favorite flashback tracks, well you know that's always made them
feel good, and then tell us a story and Marie
(02:00):
reads him that's one hour away.
Speaker 1 (02:02):
Just wanted to promote that really quickly.
Speaker 3 (02:05):
Oh, let's just get right into Astra in the entertainment
right now, because I'm feeling lazy.
Speaker 1 (02:09):
Let's just go right to Astra. Astra. What's happening.
Speaker 5 (02:13):
Well, I'm feeling pumped up because Sean Comb's The Reckoning,
the four part documentary on Netflix produced by his longtime
rival fifty Cent, just dropped at three am this morning,
which was inspired in part by his ex girlfriend Cassie,
according to the filmmaker, Alexandria Stapleton Now. She went on
to say that she hopes this documentary is a wake
up call for how we idolize people and to understand
that everybody is a human being. Now a spokesperson for
(02:36):
Diddy told TMZ that this documentary is a shameful hit
piece and confirms that Netflix relied on stolen footage that
was never authorized for release.
Speaker 1 (02:44):
Whoa, Whoa. It is a hit piece, by the way.
It is it.
Speaker 2 (02:48):
I can't wait to get home so I can watch it.
Speaker 5 (02:52):
Charlie Booth will be singing the national anthem at the
Super Bowl. He put up the cutest video on Instagram
making the announcement and you can check it out when
you can. Also on a line of Brandy Carlyle, I
love him too, Brandy Carlile is going to be singing
America the Beautiful, and Coco Jones will be performing Lift
Every Voice and Sing ahead of the Big Game. Of course,
Bad Bunnies performing the halftime show and we could all
(03:12):
watch it go down. On February eighth, word on the
street is that Kanye's wife, Bianca sen sorry, was paid
big bucks to wear all those outfits, the daring outfits
we've seen her, Oh what outfits. She was naked, the
naked outfits, and reportedly she earned over three million dollars,
showcasing her ability to turn Kanye's fashion visions into a
profitable venture for herself. This is sort of like a
(03:34):
modern take on celebrity partnership where both people benefit financially
and creatively.
Speaker 2 (03:39):
And hey, if this.
Speaker 5 (03:40):
Is true, well then we got to give her a
little bit of credit for not fully selling herself out
without a payday.
Speaker 1 (03:45):
Well wait a minute, that's a good point. Okay, continue,
that was good, right, Yeah, definitely.
Speaker 5 (03:50):
Nick Jonas couldn't even let his brother Kevin enjoy his
high from dropping a solo song, because right after the
Thanksgiving week had ended, Nick decided to announce that he
is dropping a solo album called Sunday Best on February sixth.
Speaker 7 (04:03):
Wait, he's getting high. You are just half listening on
what you said he was getting high because I said
he's enjoying his high from dropping this. And now, of course,
his brother Nick comes in and is like, move over, buddy,
I got a new solo album that I'm dropping. Let
the man enjoy his time.
Speaker 5 (04:20):
Lastly, the Backstory Boys have added more dates to their
into the Millennium Residency at the Vegas Sphere into February
of twenty twenty six, and they're also doing a special
New Year's Eve concert.
Speaker 2 (04:29):
So lock your tickets in now and make sure you
get your white outfit ready. And that is the dirt
to dish.
Speaker 3 (04:33):

I don't know why my girlfriend she stole everything from me.
(05:22):

and make me look like a school public? You gotta
be kidding.
Speaker 3 (05:51):
Me, okay, comell Camille Ryan said that you take it.
Camille Ryan said that you bounced without notice and you
took everything. You you completely left him with nothing but.
Speaker 1 (06:01):
A few shirts.
Speaker 11 (06:02):
Samn, right I did that?
Speaker 1 (06:03):
Why why Camille?
Speaker 8 (06:04):
Why?
Speaker 11 (06:05):
So you know what, I don't really need to go
on the radio and tell you what he's not doing.
You know exactly why I left, and we had an agreement.
Speaker 10 (06:14):
I've done everything anything.
Speaker 11 (06:17):
I don't have time.
Speaker 8 (06:18):
I don't have to just come back. I just need
four more months. I'll get you everything you want. I'll
get you the rest of everything give me.
Speaker 3 (06:24):
After the call, Marie and I looked at each other.
What was what just went down over there? So it
was definitely illegal. These two performed something together. They broke
up because he didn't come up with his part of
the bargain, but still loved her. Uh huh, crazy stuff
wore the roses coming up next. But speaking of crimes,
did you guys hear about Suffa County Police and the
(06:44):
district's attorney out of Suffolk County. They just grabbed the
fourteen porch pirates o. Suffa County Police and District Attorney
been tailing fourteen guys for two years.
Speaker 1 (06:55):
Where these guys hacked.
Speaker 3 (06:56):
Into the FedEx central system right and then they alter
the deliveries of major packages to an address where the
home was up for sale.
Speaker 1 (07:07):
Oh smart.
Speaker 3 (07:09):
What they would do is when the packages arrived. Of course, no,
there's nobody living there. They would go down there and
collect the packages.
Speaker 6 (07:16):
So yeah, so you're waiting for your recliner. Okay, it
says that.
Speaker 1 (07:22):
You pick a big, giant recliner there.
Speaker 11 (07:25):
What do you mean.
Speaker 1 (07:26):
That's the mind of Marie Anthony, the mind of mine.
Speaker 3 (07:29):
It was delivered because these guys hacked into FedEx and
it was delivered somewhere else different. Yeah, this went on
for two years. Wow, they just got these guys last week.
They just got them last week. They were living in
the Bronx. This whole ring was out of the Bronx
working this right. Then they would travel up to Suffolk
County and they would get the packages.
Speaker 1 (07:50):
They'd bring all the packages.
Speaker 3 (07:51):
Back down to the Bronx. But they finally got these guys.
I just wanted to really quickly. I mean, great, because
a lot of stuff. I wonder how much that costs FedEx.
Speaker 1 (08:00):

Speaker 10 (08:49):

she goes to me and took all my stuff too.
So wow, the only thing she left is my clothes.
But everything's gone. A TV that we bought together is gone,
the couch or she bought, the anging on table that
we brought together was gone. You know, she left nothing?
Speaker 1 (09:04):
Why?
Speaker 8 (09:05):
Yeah? I don't know.
Speaker 9 (09:07):
Okay, you have some idea, come on, some idea why
she would do something.
Speaker 1 (09:12):
I don't know why.
Speaker 8 (09:13):
I don't know why.
Speaker 3 (09:14):
You must have some sort of idea, Ryan, why she
would take everything you own?
Speaker 1 (09:18):
It's so drastic.
Speaker 10 (09:20):
I don't know why. I have no idea.
Speaker 1 (09:22):
What's her name.
Speaker 6 (09:23):
Her name is Camille.

Speaker 3 (13:10):
First of all, Camille changed her number, which we'll get
into that a little bit more in just a second.
But let's talk about Ryan. Couldn't talk to Ryan either
because Ryan is in jail. Five months later, we were
able to talk to his brother who currently owns his phone.
Speaker 1 (13:24):
You see, Ryan's currently in.
Speaker 3 (13:26):
Jail where he's serving a sentence of three years. Ryan
pleaded guilty to grand theft auto. Both Camille and Ryan
were part of this stolen car ring and they were
both basically stealing cars together for this ring where we
heard Ryan say just give me four months and I'll
get you everything. He was referring to money that he
kept from Camille. You see, he got paid for the
(13:46):
stolen cars, kept the money he got caught, and Camille
told Ryan that hey, I'll stay with you if you
just get me my money.
Speaker 1 (13:52):
Never came up with the money, and that was the
part of that conversation that we all heard. So what
happened to Camille? He ratted her out. She's running from
the law.
Speaker 3 (14:01):

currently wanted by the police.

Speaker 4 (14:43):

Speaker 1 (14:47):

When it finished, my dad looked at me and said,

and you're gonna be Okay. That song brings me closer
to him. Thanks for playing it.

CEO and the man accused of the killing, twenty seven
year old Luigi Mangioni appeared in.
Speaker 2 (17:00):
Court yesterday wearing a suit and a smile.
Speaker 5 (17:02):
It was the first time prosecutors played the nine to
one one call that led to his arrest, where the
McDonald's manager said the only thing you could see are
his eyebrows. His defense team is trying to get key
evidence tossed out, including a nine millimeter handgun and a
notebook prosecutors say detailed his plan to whack a health
insurance executive. They argue police searched his bag without a warrant.
What the judge decides will impact both the state and
(17:25):
federal cases. The state charges could mean life in prison,
while federal prosecutors are pursuing the death penalty. No trial
dates yet, but the next federal hearing is set for
January ninth, with yesterday's hearing set to resume this morning.
Speaker 3 (17:37):
All he's got his technical issues. Your guy's going you know,
he's going off. He's not gonna make it. Your boy
is not making.
Speaker 2 (17:44):
We shall see, we shall see.
Speaker 1 (17:46):
Boom, it's going to jail.
Speaker 5 (17:47):
All three remaining proposals for those downstate casino licenses here
in New York City just got the green light from
the state's Gaming Facility Location Board. It includes Metropolitan Park
at Willet's Point and Queen's Resorts World, the Aqueduct Racetrack,
also in Queens and Bally's Bronx in throgs Neck. Now
the board hands everything over to the State Gaming Commission,
which is expected to make the final call by the
(18:09):
end of the month, but all signs are pointing to
them getting the green light.
Speaker 2 (18:12):
However, not everyone's happy about this.
Speaker 5 (18:14):
A group of protesters at the CuNi Graduate Center erupted
after the decision was announced, chanting, shame on you. There's
a new vending machine full of groceries in the Bronx,
and everything inside it is free. It just opened at
the kIPS Bay Boys and Girls Club thanks to Change
Food for Good and their Good Food for All program,
which helps to give more access to healthy food. It's
(18:36):
stocked with fresh produce, eggs, and other essentials that volunteers
handpack to keep things clean and make it easy to
grab and go. Families can even scan a QR code
to request what they want to see next. It's actually
refilled once or twice a month, and the group says
the response so far has been great. Change Food for
Good buys in bulk, relies on donations, and hopes to
expand to more locations next year.
Speaker 1 (18:57):
Aw, that's so cool.
Speaker 3 (18:58):
It's all cool until somebody pulls up on a pickup
and they take the whole machine.
Speaker 1 (19:03):
That hasn't happened yet. I hate that braining.
Speaker 2 (19:06):
Yes, yeah.
Speaker 5 (19:07):
Starbucks is paying out nearly thirty nine million dollars more
than fifteen thousand New York City workers. Official say the
company denied employees stable schedules and even cut hours without warning,
violating the city's.
Speaker 2 (19:18):
Fair work Week law. Most hourly workers will.
Speaker 5 (19:21):
Get fifty dollars for every week they worked between July
twenty twenty one and July twenty twenty four. Starbucks is
also going to pay three point four million in civil
penalties and moving forward must comply with the law. And
for employees who were laid off during the recent store closures,
the settlement guarantees they'll have a chance to be reinstated
at other Starbucks locations.
Speaker 1 (19:40):
Nice the Evil Empire. That's a win for the workers.
Speaker 3 (19:45):

Speaker 12 (20:19):
What's going on with the crew?
Speaker 3 (20:21):
Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome my good friend. Tell me
something good. Normally is we go to the phones on
telling me something good. It's it's listeners telling us things
about them themselves and things that they're active in. And
for a k T You Morning Crew tee shirt. But
this morning, because I was invited to the Grand opening
of what's called Archangels a week ago in Tenton Falls.
I said, you know what, this is so good, and
(20:42):
I wanted to invite Smile Little to come on the
air and tell us a little bit about his organization,
this rehab organization that is doing so many amazing things
right now for our community.
Speaker 1 (20:54):
And SMILEO, thank you for coming on the air.
Speaker 3 (20:56):
Really quickly, we're gonna quickly talk about arch Angels.
Speaker 1 (21:00):
Tell everyone what you're involved with, buddy.
Speaker 12 (21:02):
You know, I'm involved with Mike Sorrentino's situation. We grew
up together, and you know this is something that really
matters to him. You know, he is a comeback story,
a true comeback story. He lost it all almost about
ten years ago, coming up in December, it would be
ten years of sobriety.
Speaker 3 (21:19):
Of course, we're talking about situation out of you know,
Jersey Shore obviously, and you know he situation had some
what was it drug or alcohol issues?
Speaker 1 (21:28):
Which one was it? With the guy?
Speaker 12 (21:30):
I'd say, yeah, it drugs, right.
Speaker 3 (21:31):
So both Smilo and the situation came together from of
course again Jersey Shore, and they formed this thing called
arc Angels.
Speaker 12 (21:40):
Very cool dark angel centers. Yeah, yeah, and the whole
thing is, you know, we're trying to destigmatize well substance
abuse as well as mental health, and it's really group
therapy and therapy to people who need help as part
of this program. You know, even once people graduate from them,
(22:00):
of course they would be able to join an alumni
program with us and become an angel and really be
able to help others too with the problem. Then it's really.
Speaker 1 (22:09):
Yeah, rightful.
Speaker 9 (22:10):
You're giving people an opportunity to come through with their
own issues, find success and be able to pass that
knowledge on and help others and helps lift them up
as well.
Speaker 6 (22:24):
That is just beautiful And I love your name, the name.
Speaker 9 (22:27):
That you chose because, as we know, an archangel is
a guide and protector and has a mission.
Speaker 6 (22:34):
And that's what you that's what you're doing.
Speaker 9 (22:37):
You're passing on this mission to others too that they
can get through it all.
Speaker 12 (22:41):
After cut even said it better yet to battling the
demons of the good versus Evil and conquering Smilo.
Speaker 1 (22:47):
If people are struggling right now, what's the first step
to go to your website archangelcenters dot com. I noticed
a sign up form is that the first step that is.
Speaker 12 (22:56):
Absolutely the first step, and we have a excellent turnaround
time time. We have a team of angels. They'll get
right back to the person in need. I mean real time.
The archangel Centers dot Com to archangel Centers dot com.

But speaking of crimes, did you guys hear about Suffa
County Police and the District Attorney out of Suffolk County
they just grabbed the fourteen porch pirates. Ooh, Suffa County
Police and District Attorney been tailing fourteen guys for two years.
Where these guys hacked into the FedEx central system. Right,
(29:49):
and then they altered the deliveries of major packages to
an address where.
Speaker 1 (29:55):
The home was up for sale. Ooh smart.
Speaker 3 (29:59):
What they would do is when the packages arrived, of
course no, there's nobody living there. They would go down
there and collect the packages.
Speaker 9 (30:06):
So yeah, so you're waiting for your recliner. Okay, it says.
Speaker 1 (30:11):
That you pick a big, giant recliner there.

What do you mean.
Speaker 1 (30:16):
That's the mind of Marie Anthony, the mind of mine.
Speaker 3 (30:19):
It was delivered because these guys hacked into FedEx and
it was delivered somewhere else. Yeah, this went on for
two years. Wow, they just got these guys last week.
They just got them last week. They were living in
the Bronx. This whole ring was out of the Bronx
working this right. Then they would travel up to Suffolk
County and they would get the packages, they'd bring all
(30:41):
the packages back down to the Bronx. But they finally
got these guys. I just wanted to really quickly. I mean,
great work, because a lot of stuff. I wonder how
much that costs FedEx.
Speaker 1 (30:50):
Okay, here we go, let's go down. Okay, here's the question.
