The four month update immediately following the call, here we go.
Speaker 5 (00:40):
Yeah, in quite a spot, and I don't know what
to do.
Speaker 6 (00:42):
Oh boy, honey, why don't you tell us what's going on?
Speaker 5 (00:45):
My ex husband was in separated for a while.
Speaker 3 (00:49):
And how long were you married?
Speaker 5 (00:50):
Two years? Two years? We were married, okay, and he
actually ended up cheating on me, not once, not twice,
but three within that two year perio.
Speaker 6 (01:01):
Oh my goodness, three times.
Speaker 5 (01:04):
Three separate times. So and I know it sounds crazy
that I stayed with him, but I love him. We
had been together three years before we got married. We
just had two kids together, and so I really want.
Speaker 1 (01:19):
To make this work.
Speaker 5 (01:20):
But after the third time, I just sort of that's it.
Speaker 3 (01:23):
He was gone.
Speaker 6 (01:23):
He was gone, and who would blame you?
Speaker 5 (01:27):
You know and exactly, but you know, my friends will
me to, you know, get rid of him. But he's
back again in my life.
Speaker 6 (01:33):
Wow, say no, And now you're moving on with your life.
Speaker 5 (01:38):
The divorce just settled six months ago. We finally got
everything settled, and I'm moving on with my life. But
of course he's back. He kind of could never stay
after the divorce.
Speaker 6 (01:53):
What do you what do you mean he's well, he's
back because of the kids.
Speaker 5 (01:57):
No, no, no, I mean, of course the kids. But
he's for me, he says. He's been sending roses to
my work and he's been sending.
Speaker 3 (02:06):
Okay, stop, stop everything stop, let's go, let's go. Let's
get him on a phone.
Speaker 4 (02:09):
Let's do this, because now it's not only wasting her time,
but I feel like it is it wasting your time,
but it's.
Speaker 3 (02:15):
Wasting my time. Let's get this guy on the phone
and let's find out how.
Speaker 5 (02:18):

and we just need to ask.
Speaker 6 (03:04):
You a quick question.
Speaker 7 (03:08):
Okay, sure, okay.
Speaker 8 (03:10):
We are a local company here and as a way
to promote ourselves, we've come up with this promotional vehicle
where we call people within your company, give them a
dozen long stem roses, and the company wants to thank
you for all the hard work that you've done for them.
So these free roses are for you one dred percent free.
You're not going to have to pay for shipping or handling.
(03:31):
They're beautiful long stem roses in a gorgeous crystal vase
and you can send these roses to someone special in
your life for free.
Speaker 7 (03:40):
Can you clarify you say it's through my company? What
exactly is?
Speaker 6 (03:44):
Yes?
Speaker 8 (03:44):
Did did HR send an email out regarding that it
should have had a mass email letting all the employees
know that this was happening.
Speaker 7 (03:53):
For possible But I didn't see an email come through.
Speaker 8 (03:56):
Oh, you might want to check your junk mail. Sometimes
that happens. I know it happens at our company. Do
you know Mark Nhr.
Speaker 7 (04:04):
I don't know him Mark.
Speaker 8 (04:06):
Okay, Yeah, he's he's uh, he's head of HR over
there in corporate. I just need to have a name
of someone that you would like to send these free
roses uh to, and we'll get them out within forty
eight hours.
Speaker 7 (04:20):
I guess I'm a little confused. These flowers aren't for me,
there for somebody else.
Speaker 6 (04:25):
No, they are for you.
Speaker 8 (04:26):
But you are to send these roses to someone special
in your life and we'll attach a note it's for
free because we're picking up the.
Speaker 7 (04:35):
Tab Okay, Tanya, Tanya okay. Wanted you to know that
I'm thinking of you.
Speaker 3 (04:44):
Or we could just tell Tanya right now.
Speaker 6 (04:45):
Yeah, we could tell Tanya right now. Come on, he's
on the line listening.
Speaker 3 (04:49):
Tanya.
Speaker 5 (04:49):
You there, excuse me, Okay.
Speaker 3 (04:54):
Ben, we're not with a rose company.
Speaker 4 (04:56):
You're on a cheaters program right now, live on k
T radio, and you've been talking with Marie, who's my
cost I'm Hollywood Hamilton and Ben. We were testing you,
uh this this feature called War of the Roses in
which we were going to test you, and you know,
basically see who you're gonna send the roses toe And
you've sent them to your ex wife, which.
Speaker 6 (05:15):
Is, uh, why do you do it when they were
actually married? Why is he doing all this stuff now
that they're divorced?
Speaker 8 (05:23):
Ohway bitter over there experience?
Speaker 3 (05:28):
So Ben, what's the deal? Why you why?
Speaker 8 (05:31):
Why are you now running after your wife because you
can't have her now?
Speaker 6 (05:34):
Or what's the deal?
Speaker 7 (05:36):
First of all, I don't I don't have time. I
don't have time for this, Kanye, I assume.
Speaker 3 (05:43):
Yeah, she's been on the phone the entire time. She's
on the phone right now.
Speaker 7 (05:47):
I don't really have time for this or to share
my personal life with others.
Speaker 5 (05:52):
Yeah, then that's typical. You don't want to share your
time with others. That's kind of what happened with us.
But you're gonna send me flowers now.
Speaker 7 (06:00):
I care about you, obviously, I don't like the feeling
of being set up on a phone call like this,
But you know that I care about you, that I've
been trying to make things right for a while.
Speaker 5 (06:13):
I'm sorry that I set you up on a phone
call like this, But I also, if you're coming from
my point of view, I didn't want to be cheated
on three times in two years.
Speaker 4 (06:21):
Well, Tanya, the whole point of the show, and the
whole point of the call, you calling in, sending us
a letter in order to get on, wait in line
to get on the show.
Speaker 3 (06:27):
You finally get on the show.
Speaker 4 (06:28):
That was the whole point to see if he was
going to send roses to you or he sent the
roses to you.
Speaker 3 (06:33):
We have nothing to stand on.
Speaker 7 (06:34):
Yeah, I made mistakes and I regret them. Sometimes you
have to lose something to know how valuable it is.
I know that that sounds horrendous.
Speaker 3 (06:44):
And three times, though, Ben, how do we get control
over this? How do we get control? How do do
you have to see professional help?
Speaker 7 (06:51):
If that's what it takes to win Tanya back, or
to give her confidence and show her that I'm willing
to dry, then yes, I like I said, I've I've
already I've lost her after the third time. Once I
lost her, things changed for me. So I know I've changed.
But if you need that confidence, Tanya, I'll do whatever
(07:15):
it takes.
Speaker 5 (07:16):
Yeah, I mean he's very sweet, the way he talks
about it.
Speaker 4 (07:19):
I see one eight hundred two four five, one oh
three five.
Speaker 3 (07:23):
Let's go to the phones. What do you think people?
Speaker 6 (07:24):
Three times? Very hard, very hard to get over that.
Speaker 3 (07:26):
This guy sounds so convincing. Yeah, it sounds like such
a nice guy.
Speaker 6 (07:30):
Can understand why she's a little conflicted.
Speaker 7 (07:34):
Tanya, I love you and I miss you, and I
would do anything to regain your confidence in me. And
I want the opportunity to commit to you. I'm Tanya.
I want my family back.
Speaker 3 (07:49):
Well, she took him back.
Speaker 4 (07:50):
She ended up taking him back, and after four months
of time flying by and after that call originally aired
just yesterday, we received the update. Two months into them
getting back together, and while she was visiting her family
in another state, she returned home to discover to find
out that Ben was totally gone. No explanation, no emails,
(08:12):
no callback, no nothing. And it was only a short
time after that that he finally contacted her to tell
her that he had completely changed his mind, explaining that
she was totally right. He was absolutely no good and
he went on to explain that she deserved much better
because he couldn't control his urge of sleeping with other women.
(08:33):
She said that was it don't ever call me again.
They hung up, They've gone their separate ways, and they
haven't talked ever since. That was episode two seventy two
and title three Times a Charm, But now that I
think about it, it should have been.
Speaker 3 (08:46):
Entitled Wishy washy this guy. Huh Wow.
