Speaker 4 (00:18):
Well, so.

Speaker 2 (00:20):
I've been married four years to my wife, Rhonda. She
works in the city and I'm at a marketing firm.
For the past year, she just been't talking about this
guy Charlie at work. They spend a lot of time together.
They work on projects together. You know, they've been going

(00:42):
to happy hours together, and you know, she's.

Speaker 5 (00:46):
Just let me, let me stop, let me stop here.
Marie Anthony warned me of this, Devin. We understand you're
shaking up a little bit. Well, we got to move
this along a little quick, all right. So I'm gonna
just I'm gonna read the letter to Murray that you
sent to us in order to get on the show. Okay,
Can I do that?

Speaker 4 (01:03):
Devin shitting? Okay?

Speaker 5 (01:05):
So the wife works with Charlie obviously, like he just stated,
but there's been a lot of missing time, so she's
not intimate any longer. She's away on weekends for hours
at a time that's unexplainable, pulling that kind of stuff.
She doesn't get back to him right away when he
texts her, am I missing anything?

Speaker 2 (01:24):
No, this is it's new. You know, we weren't like
this when we first got married.

Speaker 3 (01:29):
But have you met Charlie before.

Speaker 2 (01:32):
No, not once.

Speaker 3 (01:33):
You've never You don't even know what he looks like.

Speaker 2 (01:35):

standing off the close together, a lot closer than the
other coworkers.

Speaker 3 (01:43):
So what do you what do you mean you saw
photo of them together?

Speaker 5 (01:46):
What?

Speaker 2 (01:47):
It was a work event, they were out with their team,
but just the two of them were off to one side.
She was right next to him, like his arm was
on her shoulder, like it was.

Speaker 3 (02:00):
Kind of what you do when you take photos with people.

Speaker 2 (02:05):
You if you saw this photo, you could tell into
each other. But for the last year we've been talking
last and okay, I don't know her anymore, all right, okay,
just so before my wife and I started dating, she
was seeing this guy and Charlie just looks just like him.

(02:27):
You know, he's I mean, he's a handsome guy. I
don't want to he's African American.

Speaker 5 (02:34):
Like well, okay, okay, what does that have to do
with anything, Charlie, it happens to be a black guy.
In the photo of Facebook. And you're telling us that Ronda,
your wife, dated a good looking black man, and this
is what your is.

Speaker 3 (02:50):
Not really great detective work on your behalf DEVI and
I have to say, I mean, if I can be
so bold.

Speaker 2 (02:57):
Not before before I met her, she was serious, they
were in love and now we're together, and I just
I'm really afraid that Charlie is just her, you know,
picking up when you're about to die.

Speaker 3 (03:13):
Wow, geez, Okay.

Speaker 2 (03:15):
I'm hoping you call Charlie. I don't have his number,
but I can give you the number of the marketing
firm when he works.

Speaker 3 (03:22):
You really want to do this.

Speaker 4 (03:24):

Well, how's a better way to put it. Your company
is working with my company to give certain eployees a
dozen long stem roses as a thank you for the
work that you guys have been doing. So your name
was chosen because your work is stellar. So my company

(05:13):
is helping your company with giving away a dozen.

Speaker 4 (05:18):
What company are you exactly?

Speaker 2 (05:21):
Okay?

Speaker 3 (05:21):
My company is Redroses dot com.

Speaker 4 (05:24):
I've never heard of this.

Speaker 3 (05:26):
That's okay, you will soon, you will now because we're
giving you a dozen long stem roses for free. And
you can send these roses to anybody that you would like,
and we will attach a note on your behalf. So,
do you have anybody you'd like to send these roses to.

Speaker 4 (05:48):
If you say so, I guess you can send them
over here to the office.

Speaker 3 (05:51):
And you don't know if I'm allowed to do that.
Why is there a coworker that you want to send
flowers to?

Speaker 1 (06:00):
Oh?

Speaker 2 (06:00):
I bet we know there's a real there's a specific
coworker he wants to send him to.

Speaker 3 (06:37):

Speaker 4 (06:42):
Somebody want to tell me what's going on here? Charles?

Speaker 5 (06:46):
Oh my gosh. My name is Sean Hamilton. I'm at
a radio station here in New York, here in town,
in the city. And Marie doesn't work with a rose company.
She doesn't work. She is actually my co host on
a Radius on a feature called War of the Roses. Ronda,
who you know very well her husband.

Speaker 3 (07:08):
Oh my god, just calm down, Devon.

Speaker 4 (07:11):
You're talking about Ronda here at the office.

Speaker 3 (07:14):
Yes, this is he. This is her husband, Devon on
the line with us.

Speaker 2 (07:19):
Go ahead, sh Hi, Charlie.

Speaker 3 (07:22):
Charles listening.

Speaker 5 (07:24):
Devin called in this radio show because he has suspicions
of you seeing his wife. And you guys have been
working for over a year and now together. She constantly
talks about you. You've gone to numerous lunches, different events,
of course, work events, and Devon's got some concerns. Who
is pretty much sounding like a psycho right now.

Speaker 1 (07:46):
I definitely work close with Randa. She's a great person.
We get along well. I didn't know that any of
this is going on.

Speaker 2 (07:58):
You have to stop seeing her. I know, whoa whoa
whoa whoa Devian hey man, Look, hey, hey man, Hey
don't hay man me you and my wife. I can
tell just by looking at you two that you guys
are together.

Speaker 1 (08:14):
Look, I don't know what's going on at home and
your relationship. I can assure you, though, that me and
your wife just worked together.

Speaker 2 (08:24):
Then why were you ordering those roses to your office?

Speaker 1 (08:28):
Because there are exactly twelve women working here and I
was gonna.

Speaker 4 (08:32):
Pass the flowers out to all of the women in
the office here. There was enough on each of them. Once.

Speaker 2 (08:39):
All that's great. So you're not just sleeping with my wife?

Speaker 5 (08:44):
Okayvin, you're whoa Devin, you're at it?

Speaker 3 (08:47):
Wait a minute, a line.

Speaker 4 (08:50):
You gotta get it together, Devan. This is this is crazy, man.
You are married to a great, beautiful woman, and and
you're not gonna keep her like this. I can tell
you that much.

Speaker 1 (09:03):
Wow.

Speaker 2 (09:03):
I don't need advice from you on how to keep
my wife.

Speaker 1 (09:07):
She's a great, great person to work with. But I
can assure you that I have a great deal of
respect for your wife, and I would never ever cross
the lines of of us having just the work relationship
that we have.

Speaker 2 (09:24):
I just I can't. I don't.

Speaker 5 (09:31):
Okay, all right, all right, we're gonna one eight hundred
