Speaker 1 (00:01):
And now the Hollywood Hamilton Show and the KTU Morning
Crew presents War of the Roses. Hello, how are you?
I'm okay, okay, good talk.

Speaker 2 (00:20):
You have a situation and it involves dogs or something.

Speaker 1 (00:25):
I have a little rescue dog named Peelee. We were
playing frisbee and his leg went out, so I didn't
know what to do, and someone said I should go
bring him to a massage therapist.

Speaker 2 (00:36):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (00:38):
My neighbor is like a cat person and she knows
all about like animal people, and she said that I
should like google like the words canine sports massage therapy,
like in New York. And this person named Brooke came up,
and so I brought pee Weee into see Brook.

Speaker 2 (00:56):
Ah did she help pee Wee?

Speaker 1 (00:58):
She did it. It was like more expensive than I thought.
But pee Wee's like doing better. He's sleeping.

Speaker 2 (01:04):
He's sleeping, So okay, So now where are we in
the story? So pee Wee gets help from a woman
named Brooke.

Speaker 1 (01:13):
So me and pee Wee like we both connected with Brook.
I kind of felt like I had met Brooke before,
and Pee Wee acted like I met Brook before. Oh okay,
Peewee has a really good sense of people and like
what their intentions are, and like the first time that
we met, like really, the minute I brought Peewee in,

(01:33):
he like looked at me like she's the one.

Speaker 3 (01:37):
Wow.

Speaker 1 (01:38):
So we went out for coffee and then we made
plans to see each other like a few days later,
and then she didn't text.

Speaker 2 (01:45):
Me back you and pee Wee or just you.

Speaker 1 (01:47):
Like pee Wee was excited for me that I was
going to see her again and take him up.

Speaker 4 (01:54):
But it's a dog.

Speaker 5 (01:55):
You do understand that they don't really understand. They don't
understand what you're talking about. I have this conversation with
my wife all the time about Skimpy and Gypsy our dogs.

Speaker 1 (02:04):
Honey, they don't understand what you're saying.

Speaker 2 (02:06):
We have Reggie and Maggie. They really understand. Outside that's
about it.

Speaker 5 (02:10):
Eat Yeah, I want to eat.

Speaker 1 (02:12):
So I said, pee Wee, Larnacy Brook gonna see Brook,
and pee Wee seemed excited about that.

Speaker 5 (02:17):
All right, Okay, So what happened?

Speaker 4 (02:19):
She didn't show up, and now.

Speaker 5 (02:20):
You think she's dating somebody else?

Speaker 1 (02:21):
What?

Speaker 4 (02:21):
Uh?

Speaker 2 (02:22):
Yeah, Brooke must be some special massage therapist lady friend.
Uh okay, So I guess we're gonna call Brooke.

Speaker 1 (02:47):
Thanks for going. Can I how can I help you?

Speaker 2 (02:49):
Yeah? Can I talk to Brook please?

Speaker 1 (02:52):
No problem? All right?

Speaker 4 (03:00):
Can I help you?

Speaker 2 (03:01):
My name is Marie and I'm calling from Redroses dot com.
We have a dozen long stem roses for you, and
I just need to ask you a couple of questions.
They're for me, Well, they are for you, but I'll
explain exactly how they are for you. You know, we
are working with various companies, and we're working with your company,

(03:24):
and they gave us a list of names of employees
that they think are really awesome and are really popular
with the other pet owners, and so you're it. I
am here to give you a dozen long stem roses
as a thank you for being such an awesome employee.

Speaker 4 (03:43):
Oh, thank you.

Speaker 1 (03:45):
Yeah, okay, I'd like to do that.

Speaker 2 (03:47):
We just ask for these free flowers. If you could
just send out some little notes positive things about our
business on your social media like Instagram, Facebook.

Speaker 1 (04:00):
Great.

Speaker 4 (04:00):
Can I actually the flowers that you're gifting me? Can
I gift them to someone else?

Speaker 1 (04:05):
Well?

Speaker 4 (04:05):
Yes, okay, I am dating this. This one person that
I think would appreciate the flowers.

Speaker 2 (04:10):
Okay, who's that?

Speaker 1 (04:11):
His name is David David.

Speaker 4 (04:14):
Mm hmmm.

Speaker 2 (04:15):
So is David somebody that brought his dog to you?
Is that how you guys met.

Speaker 4 (04:20):
No, I actually met him the grocery store of all places.

Speaker 2 (04:24):
Now that's really interesting. I mean, are you a vet?
Is that what you? Is that what you are?

Speaker 4 (04:29):
No, I'm not a vet. I'm actually echline canine sports
massage therapist. So I work on all kinds of animals,
from horses to tigers to dogs. I've done cats. They
don't really like massage very much.

Speaker 2 (04:44):
Really, I didn't really know that you've a massage you know.

Speaker 5 (04:47):
Ename that.

Speaker 4 (04:48):
Sometimes it's a sports related issue, like maybe they're a
working animal and so I kind of relieve the tension
in their body. Sometimes it's a post surgical client who like,
for example, I have a client who has plates for
their back legs, so it kind of eases the pain there.
A lot of times the atlas area on a dog

(05:10):
can be in pain because they're spending either their hood
is going to be two ways for.

Speaker 2 (05:14):
Most of the guys, Wow, you know this.

Speaker 1 (05:18):
It's George. Well, what's going on?

Speaker 4 (05:22):
What's happening? Okay?

Speaker 2 (05:25):
All right, George, hold on, George, hold on. It's sort
of jump right, in there.

Speaker 5 (05:29):
All right, George, it's not looking good for you, and
we knew it wouldn't. She's all right, brow up. My
name's Hollywood Hamilton. I'm a radio personality on w k
t U radio in New York City. You're on something
called War of the Roses, and Maria is with this
radio station. She is not with a rose company.

Speaker 1 (05:45):
Now, okay, George is here, George with Peewee.

Speaker 5 (05:55):
Okay, now yeah, yeah that that that guy you went
to coffee with them had a great time. So Brooke,
here's the deal, and we're sorry to bother you. We
know you're probably extremely busy. But George has been on
the phone the entire time. He was wondering why not
the second date?

Speaker 4 (06:13):
Well, first of all, it wasn't a date. We went
and had coffee with his dog. Just because I go
to coffee with someone, that doesn't mean it's date. Like
I feel like this guy, George is like seconds away
from like pinking through my windows at all hours of.

Speaker 1 (06:27):
The night, because you made it seem like you cared
about Pee Wee and me. And I was even going
to bring pee Wee back because he's still limping, and
I was afraid you'd think it was just because I
wanted to see you, but which it was. Part of
it was, but pee Wee also my wife.

Speaker 4 (06:44):
George, you've called me seven times this week already. It's
not personal. It's nothing against pee Wee. I think pee
Wee's a great dog. I'm not interested in dating you.
I am not interested in seeing you in that way.
I want to keep our client relationship professional and I
don't want anything romantic from you at all.

Speaker 5 (07:02):
Hey, after you have slept a restraining order on this guy,
how's he gonna tell pee Wee?

Speaker 1 (07:05):
How am I going to tell pee Wee this?

Speaker 4 (07:07):
Grab him by the shoulders, looking square in the eyes
and tell him, pee Weee, she doesn't want a date up.
Maybe he's a big boy. Who George, I'm really sorry.
Make sure you massage the tender part on the upper
part of his back leg on the right side. That's
the one that's really bad. But I need you to
do it. Don't bring him in to see me. I
can't see you anymore, all right?

Speaker 5 (07:27):
Okay?

Speaker 1 (07:29):
Five?

Speaker 5 (07:29):
One, three, five?

Speaker 2 (07:30):
What's you?

Speaker 1 (07:30):
Thank everyone?

Speaker 5 (07:32):
All right?

Speaker 3 (07:32):
We got that three month update for you. Because we
spoke to George last night. He said he took Brooks
advice and stopped bringing Peewee to her.

Speaker 4 (07:38):
But guess what, he.

Speaker 3 (07:39):
Found a new massage therapist, and he says pee Wee
loves her even more now. When we asked him about Brooke,
George said, pee Wee's moved on, and honestly, so have I.
And there you have it, the three month update of
Peewee's sad adventure, which I guess is now turned happy.
If you want to check out the rest of our
War of the Roses that you may have missed, head

Speaker 4 (08:01):
