Speaker 3 (00:25):
I have a little rescue dog named Peelee. We were
playing frisbee and his leg went out, so I didn't
know what to do, and someone said I should go
bring him to a massage therapist.

A cat person and she knows all about like animal people.
And she said that I should like google like the
words canine sports massage therapy like in New York. And
this person named Brooke came up, and so I brought
pee Wee into see book.

Speaker 1 (00:56):
Ah did she help pee Wee?

Speaker 4 (00:59):
She did it.

Speaker 3 (00:59):
It was like more expensive than I thought. But pee
Wee's like doing better.

Speaker 4 (01:04):
He's sleeping. He's sleeping, So.

Speaker 1 (01:07):
Okay, So now where are we in the story. So
pee Wee gets help from a woman named Brook.

Speaker 4 (01:13):
So me and pee Wee like we both connected with Brook.
I kind of felt like I had met Brooke before,
and Pee Weee acted like Brook before.

Speaker 2 (01:22):
Oh okay, pee Wee has a really good sense of
people and like what their intentions are, and like the
first time that we met, like really, the minute I
brought pee Weee in, he like looked at me like
she's the one.

Speaker 1 (01:38):
Wow.

Speaker 3 (01:39):
So we went out for coffee and then we made
plans to see each other like a few days later,
and then she didn't text me back.

Speaker 1 (01:46):
You and Peewee or just you.

Speaker 4 (01:48):
Like pee Wee was excited for me that I was
going to see her again and take him. But it's
a dog.

Speaker 5 (01:56):
You do understand that they don't really understand. They don't
understand what you're talking about. I have this conversation with
my wife all the time about Skimpy and Gypsy our dogs.

Speaker 2 (02:05):
Honey, they don't understand what you're saying.

Speaker 1 (02:07):
We have Reggie and Maggie. They really understand. Outside that's
about it.

Speaker 5 (02:11):
Eat Yeah, I want to.

Speaker 4 (02:12):
Eat, So I said pee Wee, Laracy, Brooke, Laracy Brooke,
and pee Wee seemed excited about that.

Speaker 5 (02:18):
All right, Okay, so what happened? She didn't show up,
and now you think she's dating somebody else.

Speaker 1 (02:22):
Uh yeah, Brooke must be some special massage therapist lady friend.
Uh okay, So I guess we're gonna call Brooke.

Speaker 4 (02:47):
Thanks for going.

Speaker 6 (02:48):
Can I how can I help you?

Speaker 4 (02:50):
Yeah?

Speaker 5 (02:50):
Can I talk to Brook please?

Speaker 4 (02:52):
No problem?

Speaker 6 (02:53):
All right, Hi, this is Brett. Can I help you?

Speaker 1 (03:02):
My name is Marie and I'm calling from Redroses dot com.
We have a dozen long stem roses for you, and
I just need to ask you a couple of questions.
They're for me, Well, they are for you, but I'll
explain exactly how they are for you. You know, we are
working with various companies, and we're working with your company,

(03:24):
and they gave us a list of names of employees
that they think are really awesome and are really popular
with the other pet owners, and so you're it. I
am here to give you a dozen long stem roses
as a thank you for being such an awesome employee.

Speaker 6 (03:44):
Oh, thank you.

Speaker 4 (03:45):
Yeah, okay, I'd like to do that.

Speaker 1 (03:48):
We just ask for these free flowers. If you could
just send out some little notes positive things about our
business on your social media like Instagram, Facebook.

Speaker 4 (04:00):
Okay, great.

Speaker 6 (04:01):
Can I actually the flowers that you're gifting me? Can
I gift them to someone else?

Speaker 3 (04:05):
Well?

Speaker 6 (04:05):
Yes, okay, I am dating this one person that I
think would appreciate the flowers.

Speaker 1 (04:11):
Okay, who's that.

Speaker 6 (04:12):
His name is David David.

Speaker 1 (04:15):
Mm hmmm, so is David somebody that brought his dog
to you? Is that how you guys met No?

Speaker 6 (04:21):
I actually met him the grocery store of all places.

Speaker 1 (04:24):
Now that's really interesting. I mean, are you a vet?
Is that what you? Is that what you are?

Speaker 4 (04:29):
No?

Speaker 6 (04:30):
No, I'm not a vet. I'm actually echline canine sports
massage therapist. So I work on all kinds of animals,
from horses to tigers to dogs. I've done cats. They
don't really like massage very much.

Speaker 1 (04:44):
Really, I didn't really know that you's a massage you
know ename that.

Speaker 6 (04:48):
Sometimes it's a sports related issue, like maybe they're a
working animal and so I kind of relieve the tension
in their body. Sometimes it's a post surgical client who,
Like example, I have a client who has plates for
their back legs, so it kind of eases the pain there.
A lot of times the atlas area on a dog

(05:11):
can be in pain because they're spending either their hood
is going to be two ways for most of the guys.

Speaker 1 (05:15):
Wow, you know this.

Speaker 4 (05:19):
It's George. What's going on?

Speaker 6 (05:23):
What's happening?

Speaker 4 (05:25):
Okay?

Speaker 1 (05:25):
All right, George hold On, George hold on. It's sort
of jump right in there.

Speaker 5 (05:30):
All right, George, it's not looking good for you, and
we knew it wouldn't. She's all right, Brook, my name's
Hollywood Hamilton. I'm a radio personality on w k t
U radio in New York City. You're on something called
War of the Roses, and Marie is with this radio station.
She is not with a rose company.

Speaker 3 (05:46):
Now, okay, George is here, George with Pee Wee.

Speaker 5 (05:55):
Okay, now yeah, yeah, that that guy you went to
coffee with him had a great time. So Brooke, here's
the deal. And we're sorry to bother you. We know
you're probably extremely busy. But George's been on the phone
the entire time. He was wondering why not the second date?

Speaker 6 (06:14):
Well, first of all, it wasn't a date. We went
and had coffee.

Speaker 2 (06:18):
With his dog.

Speaker 6 (06:20):
Just because I go to coffee with someone, that doesn't mean.

Speaker 4 (06:22):
It's a date.

Speaker 6 (06:23):
Like I feel like this guy, George is like seconds
away from like pinking through my windows at all hours.

Speaker 4 (06:27):
Of the night because you made it seem like you
cared about Pee Wee and me. And I was even
going to bring Pee Wee back because he's still limping
and I was afraid you'd think it was just because
I wanted to see you, but which it was. Part
of it was, but pee Wee also my wife.

Speaker 6 (06:44):
George, You've called me seven times this week already. It's
not personal. It's nothing against pee Wee. I think pee
Wee's a great dog. I'm not interested in dating you.
I am not interested in seeing you in that way.
I want to keep our client relationship professional and I
don't want anything romantic from you at all.

Speaker 5 (07:02):
Hey, after you sleap a restraining order on this guy,
how's he gonna tell pee Wee?

Speaker 4 (07:06):
How am I gonna tell pee Wee this?

Speaker 6 (07:08):
Grab him by the shoulders, look him square in the
eyes and tell him, pee Wee, she doesn't want a
date up. He needs a big boy hate.

Speaker 4 (07:17):
George.

Speaker 6 (07:17):
I'm really sorry. Make sure you massage the tender part
on the upper part of his back leg on the
right side. That's the one that's really bad. But I
need you to do it. Don't bring him in to
see me. I can't see you.

Speaker 5 (07:27):
Anymore, all right, Okay?

Speaker 3 (07:28):
Very good?

Speaker 6 (07:29):
