Is this man trying to kill you?

Speaker 4 (00:25):
No, it's not. It's not our worst caller, definitely not
our worst.

Speaker 2 (00:29):
That's the bar, okay, all right, well that's the bar.

Speaker 4 (00:33):
That's the bar. That's the bar.

Speaker 2 (00:35):
Somewhere in the middle of that, okay. I you know,
it's been just NonStop, just neglect and and you know,
basically we've been married for five years and I've already
caught him cheating twice I read the second time was recently.
And he thinks he's so smart, but he's very obvious.

(00:55):
But I'm really I'm just tired. I'm emotionally exhausted, and
I just want to end it on the air, you know,
So I'd really like if you guys could help me
end it and read something I wrote for him.

Speaker 4 (01:07):
You want Marie and I to read something that you
wrote for him?

Speaker 1 (01:09):
What do you mean?

Speaker 2 (01:11):
No, No, I'm sorry, I want to read something. I
want you to help me read something to him on
the air. It's taken me a long time to call you,
but I don't. I just want to end my relationship
reading this, this letter that I wrote.

Speaker 4 (01:27):
Okay, so you my husband.

Speaker 2 (01:29):
I definitely have already made the decision. I can't do
this anymore. I'm I'm emotionally broken. I'm just I can't
trust him. There's no way I can ever do all right,
what do.

Speaker 4 (01:40):
You want to do? Is he still having the affair now?

Speaker 2 (01:44):
As far as I know, he's still having the affair.

Speaker 4 (01:47):
Okay, so he's still in the affair as we speak. Yes,
I'm so sorry.

Speaker 2 (01:54):
I don't want to go into the details. I just
want to end it.

Speaker 5 (01:59):
And it almost sounds like writing this letter was very
therapeutic for you, to just get it all out on
paper and helped you make this final decision.

Speaker 2 (02:08):
True, it's yeah, good for you, it feels really good.

Speaker 4 (02:13):
What's his name?

Speaker 2 (02:13):
Oh?

Speaker 4 (02:14):
Yeah, well, what is his name? Joan Elliott?

Speaker 3 (02:21):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (02:22):
Hi, babe, I need to let you know that I
want to end our marriage and i'd like to read
something to you. I know that you're cheating again, and
I really am just so tired of you. I'm so
tired of how awful will you treat me. What the head?
I want to read?

Speaker 6 (02:42):
What?

Speaker 2 (02:42):
What?

Speaker 3 (02:43):
What? What?

Speaker 1 (02:43):
What?

Speaker 3 (02:43):
What the hell are.

Speaker 2 (02:44):
I know you've been cheating. I don't want to go through.

Speaker 3 (02:47):
This every time I step out of the house. You
can't think I'm cheating on you? Are you? Are you?

Speaker 4 (02:53):
Are you?

Speaker 2 (02:54):
You're a little act? Here? Are you done? Are done?

Speaker 3 (02:59):
If? What is it you want to say?

Speaker 2 (03:04):
Thank you for cheating on me. Since you've been out
of my life, my chronic depression and anxiety have lifted.
I no longer cried my teeth at night. My skin
is clear, my body feels lighter. I no longer have
constant tension. My cycle is regular. I'm no longer trapped

(03:28):
in a constant state of fight or flight. I'm smiling again.
I feel confident. I stand taller.

Speaker 1 (03:39):
Okay, let me come in really quickly, elliot. My name
is Sean Hamilton. I'm sitting here with Marie. We're with
w KTU Radio here in New York City. You're on
something called War the Roses. You've just heard what she
had to say. She called us up, needing help. She
wants to break it off from you. You've been caught
twice in five years.

Speaker 4 (03:58):
Yeah, it's.

Speaker 1 (04:02):
Yeah, I'm saying, yeah, I am saying I.

Speaker 5 (04:03):
Think Joanne is saying that. I think she's made her decision.
Maybe she needs to read it again to you, because
that was a very well thought out letter. She explained
all that she was feeling and has been feeling. And
now that she's made this decision, pardon me?

Speaker 3 (04:26):
Whoa this guy?

Speaker 1 (04:30):
Hey? Elliott, she's caught you for the second time. You
didn't know it, but she's got you for the second time.
And I think you know what we're talking to her because.

Speaker 4 (04:36):
You're currently having an affair right now. She knows that
you're currently having a second affair.

Speaker 3 (04:43):
I love this woman. I have no idea what any
of you are talking about.

Speaker 2 (04:49):
Just know that I've seen the emails, Elliott, and I
know about your little trip.

Speaker 4 (04:56):
Do you know her name?

Speaker 2 (04:57):
Julia?

Speaker 4 (05:00):
Is that enough for you, Elliott? I think that about
sums it up.

Speaker 3 (05:07):
I wouldn't do any of it was to hurt you.

Speaker 1 (05:10):
You never did anything like to hurt her. You didn't mention.

Speaker 2 (05:14):
Is that what he said?

Speaker 3 (05:15):
Oh my god, it's not like my intention was to
hurt her. I mean, that's the way I hate hearing
you cry at you, Adams.

Speaker 2 (05:24):
You're just a bad person. You're a terrible human being
who doesn't care about anybody but yourself.

Speaker 3 (05:32):
If you give me one more chance, I will go.
I will work on myself. I'm not it's almost like involuntary.
I'm trying to stop this.

Speaker 2 (05:40):
No, I don't want to give you another chance. I'm
over and I'm done.

Speaker 3 (05:44):
I don't even want to understand.

Speaker 2 (05:46):
I want to leave your dabe.

Speaker 3 (05:47):
I understand that I.

Speaker 2 (05:48):
Don't want to. I don't even want you to come home,
all right. I don't want you to step foot into
our home ever again. I don't want to ever.

Speaker 3 (05:55):
Have you mad my life. Listen to me. I will
go to counseling. You can pick the therapist for all
I care. You can come with me. Please listen to me.
I don't why are we doing this?

Speaker 2 (06:06):
If you're not going to give me a chance to speak,
what's the point of counseling. Well, I think you're a
terrible even being.

Speaker 4 (06:12):
I don't fret to day.

Speaker 6 (06:15):
I will reave her.

Speaker 3 (06:15):
I won't see her anymore. Okay, just please let me
come home tonight. It's not too late. We mean it's
too late. We're supposed to be together, Okay. We swore
an oath guys, I think Joe ed hung out.

Speaker 1 (06:31):
She hung up?

Speaker 4 (06:32):
Yeah, boy, okay, thank you for ruining my life? We
ruined your lives? Are you serious? Right now?

Speaker 1 (06:42):
Whoa? One eight hundred two four five one three five?
I want to ask the audience real quickly, people try
to listen. Did Marie and I did we ruin his life?

Speaker 3 (06:56):
Yeah? Ask the general public. That'll be it.

Speaker 4 (06:58):
I'll week.

Speaker 2 (06:59):
Yeah.

Speaker 5 (07:00):
Oh bad Elliott, So bad for making you have two
affairs in five years.

Speaker 4 (07:07):
Elliott, Wow, we're such horrible human being. So did we
ruin his life?

Speaker 6 (07:12):
I mean, I guess it depends on.

Speaker 4 (07:13):
Who you ask, right.

Speaker 6 (07:14):
Elliott's telling everyone that his marriage ended because we put
him on blast, but Joanne is saying that was five
years of cheating, gaslighting, and lies, and that she's just
finally had enough. In fact, Joanne told us last night
that she had someone track the emails that she found
between Elliott and Julia, and it turns out Elliott was
using a fake business account to chat with her. Now,

(07:35):
he told Joanne that Julia was a work contact, but
the email domain was not even real. It was a
Gmail that he made under a fake company name. She
goes on to say that she confirmed what she already.

Speaker 4 (07:46):
Knew this was a pattern.

Speaker 6 (07:49):
Now, Joanne told us that she's officially started.

Speaker 4 (07:51):
Therapy and is finally sleeping through the night.

Speaker 6 (07:53):

today's War of the Roses. Now, if you missed out
