Hoops Talk returns for the start of Big West Conference Basketball! Jeff Portnoy and Jackson Wheeler hop on the air from the Big Island with a recap of the UH men's basketball team's efforts over the holidays, including the Diamond Head Classic. First guest of the show is Dom Drury, Director of Championships and Basketball Operations, to talk about the conference, the toll NIL is taking on different programs, and what lies ahead in the future. Former UCSB head coach Louis Reynard is next to preview the matchup between the Rainbow Warriors and the Gauchos. And finally, Spectrum Sports ace Brian McGinnis gives his perspective on what he's seen so far out of the team.
