Speaker 1 (00:00):
Well, there are remnants of our weekend upon both of us.
Falon and Jenny hare from that I'm Still Fun podcast. Hello,
thanks for hanging out with us. Jenny is wearing her
bikini bod t shirt sleeping nightgown thing to work, which
I think is a move, especially since, like the highest
ranked person for our company division.

Speaker 2 (00:18):
Is in town today.

Speaker 3 (00:20):
Did you know that he was going to be in
town today? Does he know he works in radio? Does
I true be dressed fancier than a lot of radio people.
You're not wrong.

Speaker 1 (00:27):
Actually a lot of men get away with like wearing
just Hawaiian shirts and jerseys, and I do think that
the women are held at a higher standard when it
comes to radio.

Speaker 3 (00:35):
That and honestly, sometimes we just do stupid shit for
the bit, like when you I don't know you, when
I run a marathon a traathlon, of course I'm gonna
wear my shirt in the next day that I did.
Or you go to a show, You're gonna wear your
shirt in the next day. So I just feel like
you wear things that are It creates conversations.

Speaker 1 (00:56):
I had no idea he was in town today, so
I didn't plan anything accordingly. But I also have little
bejeweled flash hats left on my face?

Speaker 3 (01:06):
Yeah you do? You have one in your center? Yes,
Priese two of your eyes. I know. And I wore
to the Jason Show today. So were they able to
like zoom in on you and really get a good
shot to show it up close or no? I don't know.

Speaker 1 (01:17):
They did for the we do it before the show
meeting and like a it's how we open the show.

Speaker 3 (01:23):
They did show it during that, okay. And I have
no idea if the one on my back that you
put on my back is still there and not. I
haven't looked. Let me see, I do have like a
crop top thing on yep.

Speaker 1 (01:37):
Fully fully still there is there? Yeah, fully still there.
We had matching ones, so mine's on my shoulder and
it's still fully there. All really wanted that one, but
yeah it is.

Speaker 3 (01:47):
That's good, oh man. And if you have no idea
what we're talking about, we had Tina's that's our party
this weekend. Yes we have mentioned before, but it's been
on the podcasting as our friend.

Speaker 1 (01:58):
If you're here, you probably found us more most likely
through us working on the morning show together and Tina
was a part of that for a while. And yeah,
so she's getting married, well, she's getting legally married soon.

Speaker 3 (02:11):
Yes, at a courthouse.

Speaker 1 (02:12):
Yes, and then she's doing like a destination wedding in January,
which we'll be going to, which I was going to
tell you this is like off podcast chat. I was like,
you could stay with Raven probably.

Speaker 3 (02:22):
I think I already maybe mentioned that to Tina. I
was like, Raven and I are probably going to bunk together,
and thinking that she'll be single, and obviously sure.

Speaker 1 (02:31):
She'll appreciate that, yeah, because it's what costs or always
a good thing that.

Speaker 3 (02:34):
But I also was going to like literally offer Tina's
friend Tom too, oh, because he's also a single gentleman.
I would probably prefer not to share a hotel room
with a dude, if I'm being honest.

Speaker 1 (02:44):
But Tom's awesome, He's so funny. But we went to Hayward, Wisconsin.
I think it was my first time ever being in Hayward.
I can't remember a time where I would have been
there or why.

Speaker 3 (02:53):
Yeah, I've never met our.

Speaker 1 (02:55):
Mutual friend Justine, who used to also work here. She
married a guy who also worked here. A lot of
funny ties and his family owns a cabin there and
it's a beautiful cabin.

Speaker 2 (03:05):
Yes, what it's a huge cabin.

Speaker 1 (03:07):
Because I was like, I was like going into this, like,
oh my gosh, they're twelve girls. I always think where
am I going to sleep? Yes, I don't want I'm
too old to do like couch. I could do a couch,
but I'm like, I'm not doing like some kind of
weird cot. But there were plenty of beds. It was
wonderful there was.

Speaker 3 (03:20):
And I don't think I talked about this on the podcast,
but maybe I did. I was really planning on bringing
the camera van up and sleeping in the van all
weekend because I'm the same where I didn't want to
have to share a bed with someone. I didn't know
what the space situation was. And finally Friday morning, I
texted Tina and I go, hey, like, do you know
what the sleeping situation is, because like I'm thinking about
bringing the van. She goes, oh, no, you and founn

(03:41):
have your own beds in like a room together, and
I was like, oh, okay. And I didn't really want
to bring the van because a diesel gas is really expensive.
I didn't want to spend that money be the air
conditioning doesn't work see God, there's no cruise control on it,
and when I'm going on long trips, I do love
a cruise control situation. Multiple factors were like the van
was going to be pretty inconvenient outside of the fact

(04:03):
of having my own bed. Yeah, so I decided against that,
and I'm happy I did because Pall and I just snuggled.
We'd be very clear there were two twin beads. We
did not snuggle. I did ask her at one point,
I think on Saturday, where I was like, what would
you do if I just like crawl in bed in
the middle of the night and you were like, I'll
fucking punch you.

Speaker 1 (04:20):
I'll push you to the floor. Immediately I was like, oh,
that's not all she did. She also got up on
her bed sexually danced, got on all fours and said
like started shaking it. Looked at me in the eyes,
and I was like, can you save it. I'm sure
that that I am in someone.

Speaker 3 (04:37):
Else this dream. Saturday.

Speaker 1 (04:38):
Yes, I was like, I'm sure you're like your horny
and you were saying that you were like wanted to
do that with someone. But I was like, can I
not be a part of this? And I said something
along the lines like, I'm sure this is a lot
of other people's dream and fantasy, but it is not mine.

Speaker 2 (04:54):
Can I not be? Can I please unsubscribe immediately?

Speaker 3 (04:58):
Yeah, you were subject to a lot of my annoying
quirks over the weekend, but having a share of well,
the funniest.

Speaker 2 (05:04):
Thing was we've never had more overnights together.

Speaker 3 (05:06):
We've had so many. We had a retreat, we had
this one. My favorite thing is Falin's snores sometimes and
she's on our bad time if I'm on my back. Yeah,
so I immediately put on a white noise playlist.

Speaker 1 (05:21):
I've forgotten my tape which helps reduce my snoring, so
so that helped me because my phone is pretty close
to my ear, so I really only heard the white
noise most most of the time.

Speaker 3 (05:30):
But at one point I did not sleep while at all.
Friday night, and mind you, we didn't say this yet.
Found and I were placed in Haunted Grandma's room. That
was like what the room was called. Everyone else was
like bunk room, main floor room. We and we looking
and says haunted Grandma's room. And Grandma's got two portraits
of herself.

Speaker 2 (05:48):
Ruth, what up?

Speaker 3 (05:49):
Ruth? One's ginormous, and then the other one that's smaller
was literally looking into found soul at nights.

Speaker 2 (05:54):
Yeah, which honestly, it didn't affect me at all.

Speaker 3 (05:57):
I was tired. I went right to sleep so easily.
I think she did haunt me. She wasn't a fan
of me because I did not sleep while at all.
I had Hella nightmares on Friday.

Speaker 1 (06:05):
Nights because you were twerking in that bedroom and that
was until Saturday.

Speaker 3 (06:10):
See, she liked the tworking, so then she left me
alone Saturday night. But anyways, going back to Friday night,
fallon did start snoring at one point and I am
just tossing and turning all night, not sleeping while and
I kind of hear her be like, oh was I snoring?
Like it was like you woke up out of it,
and I'm like, was I snoring? And I think you
went and got up and went to the bathroom. And
then later in the night you said something to me

(06:32):
and then you deliberately said I'm not going to remember this,
and I was like, yeah, okay, and I don't even
remember what you said, but you did say something to
me in your sleep at one point.

Speaker 1 (06:40):
Also on Friday, Jake always says, I do talk in
my sleep, and he also excuse me, said, oh no,
exco that I will do it. And like my speaking
in my sleep voice is almost kind of like a
laugh talk.

Speaker 2 (06:52):
It's creepy. Af I guess he will always be.

Speaker 3 (06:54):
Like, oh God, here we go. But yeah, the bachelor
party was so much fun. I feel like, you know,
you get a group of people together and sometimes people
sort of split off and stuff, and I feel like
there wasn't really that we really hung out as a group.
It was good and had a ton of fun.

Speaker 1 (07:11):
We went into town. We got a school bus because
it was kind of like a camp theme, like parent traps.
We had a school bus to drive us around. Shout
out Leanne, but all she did was drive us into Hayward,
which was ten minutes yep, because you just walk around
to the bars and they had some We didn't go
at any of the shops, but they had really cute spots.

Speaker 2 (07:27):
There was the first wine bar we went to was
so cute and nice.

Speaker 1 (07:31):
Then we went to a second wine bar, which I
like the vibe of starting off at a wine bar,
but I was like, I cannot do two, three, four
wine bars because I can't getting drunk on wine would
be a catastrophe. So luckily after that we kind of
went to more towny bars, yes with cocktails and like
more modern music.

Speaker 3 (07:50):
Yes. I loved the first towny bar that we ended
up in, except for we walked in and immediately were
hated by the bartender, Like I don't care about talking
shit about her because she was so rude to us.
And I've worked in the service industry where it's like, yes,
we're a Bachelorett party, but nobody was shit faced, no
acting a fool like. All we simply did was go

(08:10):
up to try to order drinks, fell and asked what
tequilas she had, and she listed all of them, and
none of the ones that you asked for, because you
asked if she has any blancos, I said, you have
cost me go.

Speaker 2 (08:20):
She goes nope, and I go, okay, what do you have?

Speaker 1 (08:23):
And then she lists them on and I was like,
whatich are like a blanco?

Speaker 3 (08:27):
I want a blanco?

Speaker 2 (08:28):
And then she just was so annoyed, and I'm like, okay.
Number one, no.

Speaker 1 (08:32):
One was asking for crazy fruity cocktails. Most people were
asking for seltzers, yes, or a simple drink like me
I just wanted tequila soda, but I I'm not going
to drink a disgusting tequila right, which it still was disgusting.
Shout out to eighteen hundred Blanco. It was ass I
did not like it.

Speaker 3 (08:50):
Yeah, but yeah, she wasn't very friendly and they didn't
accept cards. So then that was the whole thing, yelling
cash cash work.

Speaker 2 (08:56):
We got it.

Speaker 3 (08:57):
Yeah, We're like, okay, we heard you. And then I
don't know if you heard her go up to our
friend Justine, because it just seems I go to Justine,
I'm like, oh, I gotta go get cash. She's like, no,
I have a ton of cash. I'm worry about it.
We'll just I'll charge you guys whatever. And so then
when Justine comes up, she literally goes, so can I
just get you guys a picture of a beer? Like
she wasn't even willing to hear Justine's order. She just

(09:18):
fucking assumed, like, let me just get you a picture
of beer. So that makes my life easier. But once again,
I think I got a vodka soda. You got a tequila, yeah, tonic, whatever, soda.
It's just I don't know, I just having been in
the service industry, for so many years. I do not
understand people who are like that.

Speaker 1 (09:36):
Yeah, I know that that can be like how towny
bar vibes are because they have their usual people. Then
you have us, Yeah, and we come in and again
we're right. We weren't being like louder. We literally just
walked and went straight to the bar. We didn't even
do anything.

Speaker 3 (09:51):
Yo, we did nothing. I played a game of darts
with Tina's future sister in law, and then everyone drank
their drinks and we left. It was pretty simp I
did get a little bit rowdy when Trace Adkins got
put on the speaker because I forget sometimes this is
what I love about Wisconsin towny bars is it really
does make me feel like I'm a high school kid again.

(10:13):
It's what I grew up on, was like music like
Trace Adkins and just that vibe of a towny bar.

Speaker 1 (10:18):
Right.

Speaker 3 (10:19):
So I did get pretty hyped. And then I did
listen to Honky Talk but Donkey Dong for probably thirty
minutes straight on my ride home yesterday.

Speaker 2 (10:26):
Oh my god, I don't know why.

Speaker 3 (10:27):
I just forgot how much I love that music.

Speaker 2 (10:29):
Wow, that's a commitment.

Speaker 3 (10:31):
I know, I did. And then I put on like
a Trace Adkins, just like full playlist, and there was
just so much good country. I forgot about it. I'm
like an old lady now, I was like the country
these days?

Speaker 1 (10:40):
Well oh yeah, Well it was a good mix of
music because it was a lot of like Tina is
younger than me, so her music. I know it, but
it was a little bit young for me, some of it.
But I still really enjoyed it.

Speaker 3 (10:55):
Should we tell about how we completely killed the mood
of the party Friday night because of a song we
wanted to hear.

Speaker 2 (11:01):
Well, we quickly changed it God for a bit.

Speaker 3 (11:03):
We put on Michael We loved it on because we
wanted to hear the key change.

Speaker 2 (11:07):
We changed Michael Bolton.

Speaker 1 (11:08):
How can we be lovers if we can't be friends,
And everyone's like, woo, I've never heard this.

Speaker 3 (11:12):
And we were like, oh my god, I thought we
had a whole moment.

Speaker 1 (11:16):
We made the vibe because it was not good vibe music.
It was chill music, and we're like, we need to
pump this up. We need like some hip hop, we
need some Cardi B, we need something. So we actually
brought the vibe up, but we all we did kill
it with Michael Bolton, but then we brought it back.

Speaker 3 (11:30):
We sure did, and I feel like my truly one
of my favorite memories. And it's not just because of
me being obnoxious, but I love teaching people things. Oh
she did too, she did on the bus ride back
from the Barer Saturday. Uh me. And then Tina's two
future sister in laws.

Speaker 1 (11:49):
Which I would like to explain this a little bit, okay, Jenny, No,
I want to surprise. Jenny has a big ass and size,
So I do think twerking comes a little bit more
naturally to someone because you have natural built in jiggle,
right exactly.

Speaker 2 (12:04):
So envision.

Speaker 1 (12:06):
Tina's future sister in laws are incredibly tall, incredibly thin,
just very lanky, beautiful women, so they want to learn.

Speaker 2 (12:16):
So it was so funny because Jenny is.

Speaker 1 (12:19):
Just a very different body type and like they were
good though. I was highly impressed with what they were
able to do because of your teacher. Did you feel
like I feel like a grasshopper?

Speaker 3 (12:33):
I don't think that. I don't know if you'll listen
to this, and I don't think they'd care for us.
Other names, but Kelsey. She was a little more stiff
at first, and I was like you are doing too
much in your butt. You think that you're supposed to
like shake your butt like you're a little toddler shaking
your butt. It's not in that, it's like in the hips.
It's in the way that your legs are like stationed
on the ground and stuff. And once I kind of

(12:53):
and it felt weird because I'm like literally holding her
hips like trying to move her butt back and forth.
But once I taught her a couple of those things,
I feel like she got it. She loosened up and
she did a really good job. Yeah, I don't feel
like I did much with Nicole, but like later that
night we were all working again and Nicole was fucking
shaking it.

Speaker 2 (13:10):
She she I think she she.

Speaker 1 (13:14):
Did know how to do it, and she hustled you
because she might. She then was on her back doing
some stripper moves. All right, what's happening here?

Speaker 3 (13:21):
It was fun.

Speaker 2 (13:22):
So it was a really good time.

Speaker 1 (13:23):
No one got crazy out of control drunk, because we
did a day drinking. People were definitely drunk. Then went
back home. A bunch of the girls jumped into the
lake safely. Just want you to know, like they were
afraid to even jump because it was so shallow, like
off the dock, and then came back in and dried off.
We played some games and then we just like, it's

(13:43):
my kind of situation where you can kind of like relax. Jenny,
of course, volunteered to make the pigs in the blanket
that she couldn't stop sexually eyeing and the refrigerator for
twenty four hours.

Speaker 3 (13:54):
I was so excited for them.

Speaker 1 (13:57):
Whoever thought to make pigs in the blanket for the
bachelotte party genia idea. And we just like listened to
music and sang and we did the ten minute version
of All Too Well from Taylor Swift. So lots of
exciting things happened. It was a very good bachelorette. I
have one more bachelorette in September, and it's just four
of us, but I hope it's cool, chill vibes like that.

(14:19):
We This weekend, I have my sister in law's wedding
and I have Tina's bridal shower, so more wedding festivities
this weekend.

Speaker 3 (14:29):
I'll be at the Safe Fair, so I am missing
Tina's bridal shower unfortunately, but yeah, I would have had
a wedding also on Saturday, but it's in Milwaukee, so
I can't make that happen. Okay, before we get off
of Tina's bachelorette party, I did take notes on my phone,
if you remember, at dinner on Saturday, I said, I'm
going to take these notes, so because you're like, you're

(14:50):
not going to remember any of this, and I was like,
I will take these notes.

Speaker 1 (14:52):
She was like the secretary, the drunk secretary at any
company party, and I.

Speaker 3 (14:56):
Was who said, I've got a big old flapper.

Speaker 1 (14:59):
I know I I said that, but I did say
that in a way to get you to stop sexually
objectifying me.

Speaker 3 (15:07):
I'm sorry, but at the same time, I'm not because
you and I have a friendship where I know I
can do those things to you. Obviously, if I was
doing it to someone who I was not close with,
I would know to stop. But with Fallon, I just like,
push the limit. No means yes to Jenny. With me, no.

Speaker 2 (15:23):
I what happened was okay, So I think it was nothing.

Speaker 1 (15:26):
Before some maybe earlier that day, people were talking about
micro penises a little bit, yes, and the women who
have experienced him, and what I said was, it just
makes me feel so bad. Because it's like it's not
like a guy can help that, and it's like it
makes you feel sad because like because they know and
like they deserve love and happiness too, and but also

(15:48):
I get it if you're a girl, like you also want.

Speaker 2 (15:52):
To be sexually satisfied.

Speaker 1 (15:54):
So one girl was like, oh, this guy like had this,
but then like you know, we were talking about, well,
may he's really good at all the other stuff to
make up for it, you know. So then it got
into I don't know how because everyone was drinking, but
they talked about vaginas, yes, and I was like, they
all look different. And then I think some I won't
say who because I don't want to reveal people, but

(16:15):
someone's like, I've watched poor and they are all different,
and I was like, it's true, they are.

Speaker 2 (16:19):
And then they talked about like obviously vaginas.

Speaker 1 (16:22):
With bigger like labia yep, and Jenny is sexually not
into that, which I think is like and I said, oh,
you know the same thing.

Speaker 2 (16:31):
Oh, women can't help it, you but you don't have
to be into it.

Speaker 1 (16:34):
But it was say, women can't help it because you
know the same thing as like a micro penis and
Jenny was like, well, I just don't think I'm into it.
And then that's when I said, well, I have big
old flappers then, so that Jenny would not and I've.

Speaker 3 (16:45):
Got a big old flapper, Okay.

Speaker 1 (16:49):
So that Jenny would when Jenny would not be sexually
into me, but she, I think, was willing to overlook
it for me, so it did not work for me.

Speaker 3 (16:57):
So yes, there was that. And then and there was
like a moment where Fallon honestly had me laughing so
hard because I'm so fucking annoying. I know I am
sometimes when I get drunk. But We're like walking around town.
I'm pointing out all of these places telar ice cream cone, Oh,
Isaac found look that ice cream. Oh, that looks like

(17:17):
a good taco shop. And I had just told Faalin,
how there's something my mom does when we travel that
a noois the shit out of me. But I realized
in the last couple of years that I do the
same fucking things, which as we do, we become our
mothers point out stuff like what's that, Oh, what's that?
What's that? And so I'm doing this to Fallon. And
then we get to dinner and like I am very frugal,
as everyone knows, but in these specific situations, I'm honestly

(17:39):
cheap where it's like we had so much food at
the house, like so much food at the house, as
everyone always overpacks or overcooks or whatever. Right, and so
we go to dinner and like we were unsure if
we were doing apps or meals or whatever. And I
just was like, go, do we have so much food
at the house? Why waste money on that? But then
Found's like, well, do you want to share something? And
we got on the subject of like I only was

(18:00):
allowed to have four fries or something, and then of course,
like as soon as the food comes, I'm just like
she was like.

Speaker 2 (18:07):
I'm not very hungry, Like I'm just not like I'll
literally have two to five fries.

Speaker 1 (18:11):
I go, okay, that's a very specific number. Then you
only get two to five. Let me tell you cheese
curd McGee over here went to town. And then she's like,
there's a couple more fries, a bitch, You've already had
way more than five.

Speaker 3 (18:27):
You can definitely have some more. Yeah.

Speaker 2 (18:29):
But it also she was like doing the same thing
like Tina holds up a picture.

Speaker 3 (18:34):
And said, what was that is that a dress? Who
is it?

Speaker 2 (18:37):
And I was like, oh my god. She had just
told me how like her mom will do that, and
she just I was like, yes, Jenny.

Speaker 3 (18:43):
Tina's showing us the dress.

Speaker 2 (18:44):
She's wearing her bridal shower.

Speaker 3 (18:45):
What's it? Guys? What is that? Who got that?

Speaker 2 (18:49):
Like this?

Speaker 3 (18:50):
I know it was so funny. I was annoying. I
definitely was, But you weren't. You were fun No, I know,
But I just like I get in my head sometimes
because like I used to drink so so much that
like I would, you know, blackout sometimes, and so I
just get nervous because I don't really like drink to
that extent anymore. But I just knew the moments where

(19:12):
I could tell I was getting a little too loosey goosey,
and I'm like, all right, Jenny, shut up, just stop
fucking talking for one second.

Speaker 2 (19:18):
We've said this all the time, that we know that
there are two. We think that this is what happens.

Speaker 1 (19:24):
We think when we come together, that when other people
leave the party or the group, this is what they say.

Speaker 3 (19:30):
They were really funny, but man, they're a lot.

Speaker 1 (19:33):
That's when we assume people say after hanging out with
us because we thought that after the influencer retreat and
then we were like, I think this is how it's
gonna be. But I would say everyone was kind. I mean,
there are definitely a couple of the girls that are
a little bit quieter, but they're part of like a
friendship group that's overall but they know not going. So
I didn't feel like I was annoying anyone, which is nice.

Speaker 3 (19:53):
No, I feel the same way, And I think there
were other girls who were like, maybe not as jokey
and jabby. You and I are back and forth to
each other, but still like other girls who were loud,
like yeah, I don't know, but it was really good time.
I think the one thing that I thought was really
cute is the fact that we all were assigned to
our rooms and you were kind of assigned according to

(20:14):
who you knew the best, or like the sisters slept together,
and then like these four girls who were all friends,
there was two bunk bed sets in one room, so
they also in the same bedroom together, and we're all
like in our designated rooms, but you can hear everyone
up still talking. Yeah, it was like a legitimate overnight
camp where we're all just like still up, not going
to sleep, chit chatting away and stuff. So Fala and

(20:34):
I were up every night talking for probably like an
hour after we'd go into our bedrooms.

Speaker 1 (20:39):
And then also I don't know honestly who picked it
out or paid for it or whatever, but they had
like the cutest little kind of gift bags for each
of us. And I do know Tina like designed the
sweatshirt we wore, but they had bandanas and a towel
and sunglasses and hat and like a little makeup bag

(20:59):
full of little things you might need. And it was
so cute and thoughtful. I used my bag today actually,
and had a cute little beaded fish keychain.

Speaker 3 (21:08):
On it that I love. Tina made the fish keychains.

Speaker 2 (21:11):
She made them.

Speaker 3 (21:12):
She made those. That's amazing, Yes, because I asked her
she made We all got necklaces too that have our
initial first initial on it, and I asked her if
she made those, and she's like, honestly, those would have
been easier than the fish I made all of you guys.
But and then the funniest part is Allan was like
talking about the colors of her stuff and she's like,
I just think that it worked out so perfect. It's
like Jenny got blue and I got green, and Tina goes, oh,

(21:34):
it's like I maybe sent out a survey asking you
guys what your favorite color is.

Speaker 2 (21:39):
I go, oh, yeah, you did do that, didn't you.

Speaker 3 (21:43):
Palla and I did trade bandanas, so which I think
was fine because I am more of a loud, obnoxious
like teal. Yeah, and you got a more chill like lavender.
I did. Thank you for that exchange.

Speaker 2 (21:54):
Welcome.

Speaker 1 (21:55):
Overall, I would say ten out of ten recommend doing
a camp theme. I think it's pretty popular though in
Minnesota to go to like a cabin, so that's not
like that in itself isn't unique. But it was just
It's just I was kind of dreading a bachelorette party
because I don't want I just am not a big drinker,

(22:15):
and in the past i've felt I talked about on
here pressure to drink at parties like that, et cetera.
And I just it was like, I can have a
good time without being drunk. I also can have a
good time well I'm being drunk, but I just knew.
I also didn't want to be hungover and crappy. But
Jake and I did go to a movie yesterday which

(22:36):
was amazing with Olive and Jake and I both slept.

Speaker 3 (22:40):
Well all have watched the movie. I was like, Mom, Dad,
I actually why she let us.

Speaker 1 (22:45):
I'm like, Jake goes, I think I was snoring, which
he was next to someone I was on the aisle.
I'm like, oh my god, that poor person was probably Jesus,
but also maybe felt like a little empathy for two
tired looking parents, you know. So it was it was great, Yes,
what's up this week? Other like we kick up the
fair this week. Everyone copied us on the fact that

(23:06):
ninety four has opened up, so they were like, I
thought this might like alleviate some stress. I'm like, girl,
yes it did. I feel so I act genuinely, that
really did release a lot of unnecessary stress I had
on my shoulders about going to the fair every day.
The fact that ninety four is open back up to me,
I now know what I'm getting into, Like it was

(23:27):
the unknown of like how long is this going to
take me? So that was so exciting to like just
even that and I'm trying to just go into it
in general of like being more chill. Also very very
side note literally only because I just talked to Jason
from the TV show Today about it. You know, you
were talking about going to the Backstory Boys, maybe at

(23:48):
the sphere. Yeah, he said, the Vegas is dead. It's
like a known thing right now, like it's not as
busy as it normally is. He talked a bunch of
service industry people. They're like, it's so weird, like we're
not as busy. So other than the Backstreet Boys, if
you went, it might actually not be a nightmare.

Speaker 3 (24:07):
That's interesting. I wonder why that is, because I feel
like summer it's usually popular in Vegas.

Speaker 1 (24:11):
International travel is a big thing, and I think that's
down significantly. And I don't know if they know the
reason why or not, but it is so because he
had heard that, which I had because but I don't
keep up with Vegas because I don't like Vegas. And
he was like, I'm just going to investigate myself. He
went to see Leanne Morgan, the comedian this weekend, and

(24:32):
he was like, yeah, it was like very different than normal.

Speaker 3 (24:36):
So I was like cool, I mean that is more
of my vibe. I hate see. I loved Vegas when
I was younger. Don't get me wrong. I write three
times in my twenties, went for my twenty first loved it.
I thought I was going to move there, That's how
much I loved it. The first time I have it one,
I was like, I love this. But then I, you know,
decided that outdoors and nature is more in my thing
and so I don't desire to go to Vegas whatsoever

(24:59):
at all. But yes, the BSB residency is.

Speaker 1 (25:03):
Very that's keeping them afloat because he said that he
and Colin, his husband, where it's like why is everyone
in white? Why is everyone They were so confused because
everyone was in white, and then they realized, oh, Backstreet
boys are here because and they tell you to wear white,
and so they looked up They're like, they didn't have
plans Friday night, so they quickly looked up tickets and
he was like, do you know how much secondhand tickets are?

(25:23):
Like resell the worst possible seat for one ticket with
six hundred dollars without fees. So I go, oh, I
wonder if they're new dates have gone on sale.

Speaker 3 (25:31):
Yet they haven't, Okay, I signed up for the pre
sale for good that potentially I don't know if I'm
going to even try, but maybe I don't think they
go on sale till Wednesday. Okay, so yeah, not for
a little bit. But I don't know. It's almost like
I hate being this person. But obviously people listen to

(25:53):
our podcast and they listen to the Morning Show, and
there are certain things I want to gatekeep because then
I don't get access to it. Like every time that too,
every time Dave goes on and talks about the best
way to get into the State Fair, I'm like, can
you shut up? Because now you're making it harder for
us to get in because of the way that like
I don't go his way, see I always have. But

(26:14):
then he talked about it so much last year that
I swear it's screwed up. Oh it being more convenient.

Speaker 1 (26:20):
I'm curious about how this year because like every year
has continuously broken records for like being the busiest.

Speaker 3 (26:26):
I think it's gonna be busy because of the construction
reopening A and B. As far as I've looked for
this week, the weather looks so like home, not rain,
which I know, like sometimes we're like, yay, rain, give
us a little break, but like it looks like partly
sunny and low seventies.

Speaker 1 (26:44):
It's funny you said that because yesterday I go, man,
it was poor. Now and I go, okay, I go,
don't give her all you got, mother nature. I go,
I need a little bit of rain a couple of times, sure,
a couple of breaks during the State Fair. And Jake
literally goes, he pulled up on this. He goes, if
you looked at the weather, I go, no, and he goes,
I've never.

Speaker 2 (27:00):
Ever seen it more perfect, like, and we died laughing.

Speaker 3 (27:05):
It does look so good.

Speaker 1 (27:06):
Whatever, it's great. I mean, we people need it. And
but I did wonder if I did wonder if like
the economy in general would affected a little bit.

Speaker 2 (27:14):
Because I say, it's expensive to go to the fair.

Speaker 1 (27:16):
It is is from the tickets to get in to
you know, how much you're going to be spending on food.
Every food item is like twelve plus dollars. And yeah,
I don't know so, but I'm not dreading it so much.

Speaker 2 (27:31):
Yeah, we do have to figure out next week.

Speaker 1 (27:33):
By the way, I know, I because I'm not just
yesterday intending to necessarily come in here to do a podcast.
However I could maybe, but and I also have to
leave after the show. We always record Mondays after the
morning show before Found does her show.

Speaker 3 (27:48):
But I have to be out there on Monday. Yeah,
so I won't even I basically do the show and
then I leave, and then you'll be out there to
do your show. So there's like no time Monday for
us to record.

Speaker 2 (27:58):
I think it's probably going to be realistically a week off.

Speaker 3 (28:00):
Then, yeah, And they say, because I also work the
fair all weekend, so yeah, I don't really want to
have to come into the studio over the weekend to work.
I be honest, that's fair.

Speaker 2 (28:10):
I think everyone understands. So we'll good talk.

Speaker 1 (28:13):
We'll be off next week, but then the following week
we'll have an episode of it just come out like
a little bit later, hours later because we have Monday
Labor Day off, so we'll record it on Tuesday, and
so it'll probably go up around one pm on Tuesday.

Speaker 3 (28:28):
Well, just as a little like thank you for listening
and staying with us, even if we take weeks off. Sometimes,
how about maybe we post some of the unforeseen photos,
the ones that we haven't shared that are in the
group chats, for like the promotion of this podcast episode
from Tina's Bachelor Party, because we all did a shared
album together. I guess like that does not need to

(28:49):
go online. That does not need to go online. So
maybe we share. I share any that you didn't want,
I don't think you did. But there is one that
I'll see if you're okay with where Tina came and
straddled you while you were laying in bed. I think
faced I mean Jake and Olive. Oh, I'm fine with it.
And I have every scene and there's like one I
need a double jack because I don't know what I'm
all revealing, but me and Tina both piled on top

(29:09):
of you, and my skirt is like almost up my
ass in it.

Speaker 2 (29:12):
So that's your call.

Speaker 3 (29:13):
Yeah, yeah, maybe I'll put a little collage together for
the promotion of this and show you guys a few
behind the scenes things that normally you wouldn't be able
to send to.

Speaker 1 (29:22):
You my picture then if you're creating it, because I
have what it looks like to sleep next to Jenny.
She's not in bed, it's just what she requires on
her bedside. That's ridiculous, and I'll text that to her
so she has it for the collage. Yep, all right, Well,
thank you so much for hanging out with us and
giving us your blessing. You haven't, but mentally we're putting

(29:42):
it on you were gaslighting you. That you have, yes,
A blessing for next week and if we see you
at the fair, awesome. If not, we will talk to
you the week after. Yes, I
