Speaker 1 (00:00):
We're back, and I think Jenny's microphone might be good.

Speaker 2 (00:03):
Oh, I hope. So as soon as I listened to
like a little audio last week, I'm like, what in
the hell is happening to my voice? And I texted found.
I was like, this is one of our best episodes
we've ever had, and of course we would have some
audio issues.

Speaker 1 (00:15):
I actually agree. I was very proud of that. I
even told usually I'll be like, you know, Jake Olasca,
my day was and I was like, Jenny and I
had I felt like a very good podcast. And then
the next morning you text me like, of course, of course.
So Jenny's on a different microphone today. Hopefully it's good quality.

Speaker 2 (00:31):
We did test it, so if it's some for some
reason there's issues, again, I don't know what to say. Okay,
so we did test this microphone. I keep seeing more
and more clips of the Basement Yard podcast and I
like want to just send you everything and be like
you need to study this.

Speaker 1 (00:46):
So I sent So I brought it up to Colt
after last week. Hee, she missed last week, Jenny found
this podcast she really likes, and I said, you know,
I think I've seen them before from cult or somebody.
So I went to Colt. I called it the totally
Wrong Podcast. I have no idea what I say. I think.
I said backyard yeah, and he goes, do you mean
the whatever it is?

Speaker 2 (01:04):
Yeah?

Speaker 1 (01:04):
And I go yep, and he goes, yeah, definitely send
you clips and he goes, it's very planned out. He's like,
they have a formula. He's watched it for a long time,
so he's like he he said, even though you were
like saying that, he said, it's very planned out. Yeah,
They're like hope, and I was like, Okay, I just
haven't watched it yet.

Speaker 2 (01:21):
I just the clips that I see, though a lot
of them I don't think are planned out, because it's
like they'll stutter over a word and then yes, and
then they just go in on each other. So that's
where I'm like, it's definitely a chemistry thing between the
two of them. But yeah, obviously I'm sure they have
a ton of topics like set to go to an extent.

Speaker 1 (01:40):
For sure.

Speaker 2 (01:40):
I did go.

Speaker 1 (01:41):
I still haven't looked at it. I'm very right now.
I'm like, I have a book I just finished which
I did not love, and I was like when it ended,
it was this is how I know. I hated a
book so fun fact, I skipped like multiple chapters in
the middle because it was like a mystery, and I
was like, I feel like, I'm not even gonna need

(02:02):
to know this stuff. I didn't need to know it.
And then it ended, and I was so confused that
it ended. I was I thought there was more that
was going to be un like revealed, and then I
and I was like, maybe I missed it, so I
started rewinding. I'm like no, and I was like, what
the hell? Return that to the library. But I've been
watching the summer I turned pretty did you see those

(02:22):
first two episodes yet?

Speaker 2 (02:24):
I don't think I'll watch. I fell off season two, Okay,
I don't know. I wasn't vibing with season A lot of.

Speaker 1 (02:29):
People fell off season two, and I think the reason
why is because they had a lot of filler crap,
Like there's a whole episode of them playing at an arcade.
Nobody cares. Okay it was, But this season, the first
two episodes are already significantly better because they have to
wrap everything up this season and speed things along so
they graduate from high school. It's already like they're graduating

(02:52):
from college. They're already like Conrad's already like basically becoming
a doctor, and they're Belly and Jeremiah are very serious,
and there's like an engagement all of this. So it's
fast forwarding, so it's just hitting I think actual important timeline. Okay,
So I do think this season is already significantly better

(03:13):
in just the first two episodes.

Speaker 2 (03:15):
Nice.

Speaker 1 (03:15):
Also, I watch this show called The Buccaneers. Okay, Now,
if you're looking for something that's kind of unique and cool,
I like the show. It's on Apple TV, and it's
one of those shows where it's based in like the
olden days, you know, so they're dukes and stuff, but
it's modern vibes, like they have modern music in it.
They have it's like sex and all this stuff, you

(03:37):
know what I mean. So it's not like Downtown Abbey
at all. And the leads are all young and attractive.
So I kind of like that one. Nice And the
season two it was one of those shows I watched
season where I'm like, I bet they won't even get
a season two because I feel like I heard nobody
talk about it, and there's the season two. What is
that on Apple TV?

Speaker 2 (03:56):
Okay? I man, I just don't know what I have anymore,
don't really have anything. Shout out to anyone who's given
me their passwords. I think I'm logged into a couple
of random people's logins. But I don't think I have
anything for Apple TV, which is fine. I just I
can't keep up with everything. You and Tina were talking.
We went on on Fountains Boat yesterday, and you and
Tina and Tom. I think we're talking about some shows
and I was like, I hadn't even heard of Home,

(04:18):
and I like, I don't. It's not that I don't
like TV, because I do, like don't get me wrong,
but there's just something wrong with my brain where I
just can't sit down and focus on TV shows.

Speaker 1 (04:29):
Oh, I don't focus. I'm scrolling my phone the whole time.
But well I did. I did focus in more on
the summer. I turn pretty because I'm actually like that.
But I also am in mental vacation mode.

Speaker 2 (04:42):
You know, yeah, you leave tomorrow.

Speaker 1 (04:43):
I leave tomorrow morning, and I'm like, so I'm kind
of doing the chaotic. I had to return my newly
I rent that I'm like last minute preparations for the trip.
I have to pack when I get home. I really
like the brand at Dick's. They're actual in house brand DSG. Okay,
that's fantasy. When I first bought stuff, I didn't realize

(05:06):
it stood for Dick Sporting Goods. Oh. I also ESG,
what is this? I got the cutest nineties looking tanks
that have built in bras and I can't. I got
like three colors where it has like the straight line
at the top and it's a tank top and the
like outline is like white and the straps are what
it's They're very cute. So I'm planning warring those like
each day. Yeah, where are you going? By the way,

(05:29):
mister Able flying into Portland driving to bar Harbor so
we're doing a Kadia National Park. Bar Harbor's like three
hours from Portland. I forgot the hike. And then I
just volunteered myself to design Abby my college friend's bridle
shower in bites because I'm not going to the bridle shower.

Speaker 2 (05:47):
Ok So I was like, I.

Speaker 1 (05:48):
Want to contribute, and I have can but I know
how to do that more than like her maid of honor.
So I was like, I'll do that. So now I'm
quickly going to design those today before I leave on
this trip and send to them.

Speaker 2 (05:58):
That's very nice, And so you raise hiking and stuff.

Speaker 1 (06:02):
Yes, but I chose a Kadia because they don't have
super intense hikes and this is the first National Park
tripper going on with Olive without her being in a
pack on Jake's back, and so I just didn't want
to deal with it. Yeah, there are some harder hikes there,
but they're harder because they're like kind of scary. Yeah,

(06:24):
where it's not like it's a long hike, but it'll
be like ladders and rocks on a cliff and you
can't take kids on. So I put those on our
itinerary in case anyone wants to do them without Like
Jake's mom was like, I'll watch all of if you
guys want to do it, but if not, like if
Davy and Laura his brother and then they want to go,
they can, but they don't have to or Dylan, And

(06:44):
I think I'm going to force Dylan my steps then
to do some senior portraits there. Oh nice, So we
made him We're like, bring one nice shirt.

Speaker 2 (06:51):
Do kids even like go? Because it was such a
huge thing for me growing up where it was like
this is where you go to get your senior photos done,
and so there was like two photo gallat replaces. I
think that's how it is anymore, right.

Speaker 1 (07:02):
You know, because there are so many great photographers now.
I also don't even think senior pictures are as big
of a deal and less you're I don't want to
say popular, but part of me is like, unless you're
you care about instagramy kind of stuff. Because Dylan has
friends that are girls. They're lovely, but I can tell

(07:25):
they don't care about that stuff.

Speaker 2 (07:26):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (07:26):
Like the one girl I'm obsessed with, she wants to
be an FBI agent. She's literally going to school when
she graduates in DC. She's already toured on applied that's
her dream. I'm like, that's sick. She just was like, hey, well,
your dad take my pictures too, because he's like, my
dad's just going to take mine. And I'm like, I
would never have done that. I'd be like, no, I
have to go where everyone else is going, you can

(07:47):
to get the same photos.

Speaker 2 (07:49):
Yeah, So I feel like that it's a little different.
So this past weekend I went to the Minnesota Yacht
Club Festival and like, did a bunch of other fun stuff,
got to go on Found's boat, which was hype. I
would excited. Yeah, that was the most beautiful day ever.
It was good. But I do have a question because
I had told Fouln something I was doing, and mid
me doing that, I thought, I wonder if she's tracking

(08:11):
me right now? Did you look at my location on Saturday?

Speaker 1 (08:16):
Saturday?

Speaker 2 (08:17):
Yeah? What was Saturday? I don't remember. Well I don't
I'm not going to say what I was doing, but
Saturday you had texted me and You're like, oh, are
you going back to the Minnesota Yacht Club festival the
night and I was like, no, I'm doing this instead.
And so I was like, I wonder if this bitch
is watching what I'm doing, because I bet, y'all i'll
get a text and being like, hey, why are you
with so and so?

Speaker 1 (08:34):
No? I think I can't remember why I asked you that.

Speaker 2 (08:39):
You just said asked me, like, because I think we
were talking about how the Minnesota Yacht Club was on Friday,
and so you asked if I was going back Saturday
and I said no, I had other plans.

Speaker 1 (08:50):
I don't know. I didn't track you.

Speaker 2 (08:51):
Actually, that's fine. I just was waiting for it. I
was like waiting for the ambush of you being like,
why are you at blada blah? And how are you at? Well,
it's nowhere. I was nowhere. Well, I was somewhere, but
I was nowhere at the same time, mentally, were you
at a sex shop? I wish? No, Actually I don't wish.

Speaker 1 (09:10):
I don't.

Speaker 2 (09:10):
I don't really need anything like that. I don't need
all those.

Speaker 1 (09:13):
My mind is racing, now, where would you be that
would peak my curiosity?

Speaker 2 (09:18):
I mean I literally told you where I was on Sunday.

Speaker 1 (09:21):
Oh No, I didn't stalk you, Okay. I knew you
were hanging out or doing something, but I didn't. I
actually did not stalk where you went, okay, because I'm like,
I don't know why, But that's a valid question because
it's something I would do, and I wonder looking at
my location right now and seeing what I'm doing. We

(09:42):
had no I was trying to like.

Speaker 2 (09:42):
What we did.

Speaker 1 (09:43):
We had a weird day. We were shopping at like Ridgdale.
We went and had a late lunch at Bachio, which
I hadn't been there. In song, it's so fucking good.

Speaker 2 (09:52):
I don't think. I don't think I've ever bet it's.

Speaker 1 (09:54):
In Ridgedale, it's not in it. It's like one of
those outskirt like little places like which is funny because
Tina stalked me. Oh yeah, she goes, I was in
great text, why you were at Marshall's, And I'm like,
I wasn't. I was at Baccio, which is right next door.
But that place is so good, and I go once
every two years, and every time I'm like, this is
so good. Why don't I go here more often? I

(10:17):
don't think I've ever been. What kind of food Italian?

Speaker 2 (10:19):
Maybe? No, I don't know. I Bochio sounded Italian to me,
but I know nothing.

Speaker 1 (10:25):
Sure, No, it's very normal American restaurant fair so you
can get like Italian food. Probably I did. My mind
is a little crazy right now because I got the
Boccio burger. Yeah, good special sauce. They caramelize those onions
to perfection. Girl. Fries are kind of like shoe string.
They're so good. All of the all have to get

(10:47):
fetichini alfredo, which she cannot pronounce.

Speaker 2 (10:49):
Hell yeah, how does she say it? She changes it
every dime.

Speaker 1 (10:53):
It's just so funny. It just makes up. She's like
a Bubba de d I don't know what she calls it,
but she her face was over the bolt. It never lifted.
Just go hall off the whole time. She's like the
bosh post Off over had in my life.

Speaker 2 (11:06):
I was like, calmed down. I was so hyped when
I got to your house yesterday and she was excited
to see me, because I, for some reason just assume
that little kids are like goldfish and they forget you
if you're not in their life constantly. She does forget Yeah,
to be sir. I was like, oh my gosh. She
like remembers me and we were best buddies again on
the boat like we were last summer.

Speaker 1 (11:23):
She picks one girl that she likes the best. Sorry,
Tina didn't make the cut. She befriended you.

Speaker 2 (11:28):
But immediately I know it is your sister in law, Hannah,
that she's up.

Speaker 1 (11:31):
Hannah would have been there, she wouldn't even looked at it.

Speaker 2 (11:33):
I knew that because we did a brunch for your
birthday and we were all there and You're like, don't worry,
she's not even gonna care about you because Hannah will
be here. And I was like, oh, that's.

Speaker 1 (11:39):
What Jake's mom does too. She's like shell she Jake's
mom arrives early at events so she can hang out
with all of because she says them, she knows the
moment Hannah arrives, she's nothing to her.

Speaker 2 (11:48):
It's so sad but true.

Speaker 1 (11:50):
But it's like she doesn't want me either. When Hannah's
around Handah is the best, So yeah, she loves her.

Speaker 2 (11:55):
Should we talk about what happened yesterday? That like nobody
understood in the moment what was happening, And so I
finally was like, wait, what did what just happened?

Speaker 1 (12:03):
Well, yesterday basically I didn't have a plan to go
on the boat, but I was like, it's such a
nice day. I so I texted Tina and or I
called Tina, and Trevor called Jenny. Typical Jenny didn't answer,
so I knew I had to text her.

Speaker 2 (12:14):
Can I tell you your phone went right to my voicemail?

Speaker 1 (12:17):
Oh?

Speaker 2 (12:17):
It rang on because my I literally had my phone
in my hand and all of a sudden, I saw
like the voicemail like symbol on my phone.

Speaker 1 (12:25):
I'm like, that's.

Speaker 2 (12:25):
Weird, I was.

Speaker 1 (12:27):
I'm not offended when I look at your location and
see that you're at your house, so you're clearly not busy,
and you could easily answer my phone call, which I
do every time you ignore me. But I also know
you well enough to know you have to be in
a certain mood to call or talk to people on
the phone or text them exactly You're I'm so much
that person you are, and I respect that. Yeah, So

(12:49):
when I called, I was like, she's a I looked,
and like, she's at home. She is just not in
the mood talk on the phone, and she doesn't know
what this is about. So I was just like, do
you want to go on the boat? She responded, Oh,
I'm telling you it went right to voicemail, answered no,
but you said no? And then I I was like,
why what do you have going on? As a true
horrible friend would like bully someone into a corner. And

(13:11):
then I yelled at her and told her to move
her plans to a different time so she could come
on the boat. I did, and then guess what, I
had to move those plans on top of it tonight
instead because I just like didn't have the brain capacity
to do what I was sping to do.

Speaker 2 (13:25):
Gotcha, that's okay?

Speaker 1 (13:26):
Well, basically, so Tina and all the gals were there
and Tita's like, I have a gift for you, like.

Speaker 2 (13:33):
Why I know. I also was like why I know?
And I was like, where's my gift?

Speaker 1 (13:38):
Yeah, I know, like why and She's like just open.
I'm like okay, and I'm like being so like what
is this about? Everyone? Really?

Speaker 2 (13:43):
Why you is what you're being?

Speaker 1 (13:45):
You're right, everyone's watching. I opened the card. It's super long,
but it basically alludes to like me being a part
of Tina's wedding, and I was like, oh my gosh, yes,
of course. And then it's like a cute little notebook
and pins with Taylor Swift words on them, and like
a pretty necklace which my stolen, I realizing now I
never found again. So I she asked me to officiate

(14:05):
her wedding. Yeah, I am both honored and terrified. I've
never done it before. I think I'll do a fine
job because I won't like half asset. I'll put an
effort and you can read. I was like, just so
you know, thank you Jenny. There. I was like, I
just need to make sure like we don't have expectations here, okay,
because they're going on and on about our mutual friend Tom,

(14:27):
how he made everyone cries like I don't need that
kind of pressure that I'm going to make, And they
said it was the most perfect ever goes why didn't
you ask him to do it? And I was like,
I can't be I can't be pressured to be funny
and or make anyone cry.

Speaker 2 (14:41):
Yeah, well, no reason that they ask you is because
they want what your personality is going to bring to God.

Speaker 1 (14:49):
Well she did say She's like, couldn't they give anyone
I'd rather have roast the ship out of us more
than you.

Speaker 2 (14:54):
So I was like, oh, okay, great.

Speaker 1 (14:55):
Yeah, so I've already taken some notes on things that
I would roast both of them for, and then I'll
have to do the thing where like I meet with
them and kind of ask because I, you know, I
have to know what they want in it.

Speaker 2 (15:05):
In the wedding's not till January. Yeah, I was gonna say,
you've got plenty of time. It's not like it's coming up.

Speaker 1 (15:10):
See.

Speaker 2 (15:10):
So what had happened was found's like reading this long
ass card that has just all this like paragraphs of
stuff and it from Tina. I like started looking at
my phone because I felt like if this was a
private thing that I shouldn't have been a part of
and so I didn't know what happened. And finally we
get on the boat and I'm like, is anyone going
to tell me? Like what did you just ask?

Speaker 1 (15:29):
Ye?

Speaker 2 (15:29):
And Tina's like, oh, I thought. I thought I already
told you, because Tina and I were just together like
a week or two ago. She's like, I swore I
told you that I was going to ask Falada officiator
a wedding. And I was like, you did not tell me,
So I was very confused. I thought that maybe they
asked you to be present at like the courthouse part
the courtouse. Okay, yeah, so that's what I thought in
my head. And then yeah, she was like no, I

(15:50):
having her officiate.

Speaker 1 (15:51):
I was so nervous, even though it's like my closest
friends watching me that I felt also like I didn't
give a proper excited reaction. So I exit her later like, hey,
I think I blacked out a little bit. I'm sorry
I didn't like act. She's like, no, you have the
perfect response. She's like, sorry, there was an audience and
I'm like, yeah, I mean I'm not whatever with Trevor
and stuff, but yeah, so I'm excited for it. I

(16:13):
have a lot of, as I've said, wedding stuff this year.
So I am thankful that that wedding is in the
beginning of next year and I'll have like the whole
month to think about it. Yeah, and not stress about it.

Speaker 2 (16:28):
Yeah, you've got plenty of time. So you have, I know,
like one of your very best friends getting married. And
is it September? Now, I'm forgetting October.

Speaker 1 (16:36):
October, but her bachelorette party is in September. I'll be
going to Indiana for and I can't go to well,
I could go to a shower probably, but I'm not
I'm not paying for another flight. She gets that I'm
going to design her shower invitation. It's then that over
today before I go on vacation. But I also have
my sister in law's wedding is in August. Tina's bachelorette
party is in August, and so yeah, I just have

(16:59):
like like two bachelourettes. A bridal shower, No way, I don't. Yeah,
Tina's bridal shower and.

Speaker 2 (17:07):
Too I wany to make a note of Tina's bridles
shower because I don't think I have that in my calendar.
But yes, I'm close to the same as you. I
have some scheduling conflicts with one of the weddings that
I want to be going to, so we'll see how
that goes. But yes, also same with like bachelor parties,
bridle showers and all that good stuff.

Speaker 1 (17:23):
Yes.

Speaker 2 (17:25):
Can we talk about boobs for a second. And I
don't know if you want to bring up your thing,
so I'm fine bringing it up on this podcast.

Speaker 1 (17:30):
I haven't brought it up anywhere el because I've been
hesitant to bring it up and be honestly overwhelmed with response.

Speaker 2 (17:35):
That's a good point. So my thing is more of
a like, am I in my head about this? I
was looking at my boobs in the mirror the other day. Yeah,
and you know I haven't had a gentleman look at
them in a long time. Yeah, and I'm like, Okay,
I feel like maybe my ariolas are getting bigger. Okay,

(17:57):
does that happen as you get older? I don't.

Speaker 1 (18:00):
I don't know the answer to that, but I feel like
it would make sense because by default, your boobs are
going to sag more, which means your skin would probably
stretch more. Okay, So I would think yes, the same
as like older people's like ears and noses and stuff
like that start getting bigger. That's just like fact. So
I could see that happening, sure.

Speaker 2 (18:21):
Because I'm like looking at them, and I'm like, I
don't know, I'm probably just in my head because now
I'm just in my head about everything because I'm like, God,
I gotta be naked in front of a new person
in the future and it's terrifying. And so you know,
I'm just like looking at me and you know, checking
out the moles all that good stuff you do as
you're naked.

Speaker 1 (18:37):
Yeah, obviously, yeah, you keep an eye on those moles.

Speaker 2 (18:40):
I was like, I'm gonna ask fallum, she has ever
have you experienced that? Or you probably don't even like
care or look.

Speaker 1 (18:48):
You're not wrong. I think I used to be maybe
more insecure about like, oh, what a my aerials look like,
because when we're younger, we're worried about what do our
vaginas look like? What do our boos bobs look like?
Do they fit this social norm and standard? And then
I stopped giving in f I've seen so many boobs
on so many things, like from looking at plastic surgery websites, yeah,

(19:10):
to just Instagram people.

Speaker 2 (19:13):
To movies.

Speaker 1 (19:15):
Boobs are so freaking different every single set that I'm like,
I hate that girls get in their heads as teenagers
and think that their boobs should look a certain way
like boobs. I'm sure there are some that maybe people
are like, whoa, let didn't see that coming, Okay, whatever,
But for the most part, it's like, you know, so,
I probably cared about it when I was younger. Now

(19:37):
I don't care.

Speaker 2 (19:38):
And I will say also, I'm probably making it sound
like I'm insecure about it. I'm not insecure about it.
If they have gotten bigger, yeah, but I just like
kind of was looking. I'm like, I think that they
might have got grown a little bit, you know.

Speaker 1 (19:49):
Yeah. So, And what I what Jenny was bringing up
with me is I've been talking more and more to
like people I trust and value their opinions. I want,
I think I want to get a breast reduction and lyft,
and with the reduction, I want to even out my
right boob. I'm not joking when I say it's bigger.
It's significantly bigger, and it's in some things it's noticeable,

(20:12):
like some dresses or tops, and it does make it
more awkward if I'm wearing like a tighter fitted kind
of top, like it'll smash it so much more. And
so I was like, they're getting a little saggyer. I
am a person who loves to go brawless. I always
have been, and I'm not. I mean like when I'm
wearing dresses and stuff, I love to wear them without

(20:34):
a bra. So I would love to do that. I
don't know a lot about reductions and lifts and things.
I don't really want to get an implant in anything
like that. So I was just like asking people because
I do want to, like I honestly want to see
someone who I think has a good set of boobs, yeah,
and be like that's that's what I go to.

Speaker 2 (20:53):
Yeah, That's what i'd want to do too.

Speaker 1 (20:55):
So I had asked a couple of neighbors and found
a couple. But that's why I was like afraid to
ask about it, because I did work with a plastic
surgeon and I would go get a consultation with him
because I did think, like I looked at his work
online and thought it was really good, and I worked
with I mean, I did radio advertisement. I didn't actually
go get procedures with him. I would definitely go talk
to him, but I would probably do you know, like

(21:16):
three consultations. Think it's smart to go talk to various
people and see which one's the best fit for you.
But I was like, I don't want to post it
on social because everyone on Earth will A send me
a recommendation, but B tell me horror stories and I
don't want to hear endless.

Speaker 2 (21:32):
Horror stories see make inappropriate jokes.

Speaker 1 (21:35):
Well that I'm okay with. Oh okay, Yeah, So anyway,
that's something I'm considering. But also the time, how what's
the like? I was like, ideally if I did it,
a'd be like over holiday vacation. Yeah, so that I
would have time to heal properly, because that's the one
I have my most amount of time off. So I'm
at this happy hour last week and Fallon just sends
me a video of her plopping her boobs down like

(21:57):
she's holding them up and then cur plunk they bound down,
and I'm like, what is happening because there was no
contact at first, it was just the video and then
you said I'm thinking about getting a boob lift, and
I was with our old coworker Ted, who goes on
your show sometimes.

Speaker 2 (22:12):
I was like, I'm gonna show Ted this and you're like,
I don't care. I did not, just so you know
I didn't because I respect boundaries. Oh I would.

Speaker 1 (22:19):
I said I didn't care because I don't because to me,
Ted is like a girlfriend. Ted is not like a guy.

Speaker 2 (22:24):
Well, and also I should preface that she did have
clothes on. It wasn't just her bear boom. Just like, okay,
showing Ted the naked eaters. Okay, you were like, I
don't care. Even Joe Dad, I didn't care. Yeah, but
I'm like, what is she sending me? Because only am
I just send each other really random things every once around.
She also, you were on me, you fucking bitch, because

(22:45):
last week because I'm wearing these leggings and I took
a video of myself swinging that had no crotch area whatsoever,
and You're like you just dying to show the puss,
aren't you? And I'm like, I'm swinging.

Speaker 1 (23:00):
Well I had, so I had. I'll be honest. I
have quite a few people I only sent you on
dm ME and they go, girl. All I saw on
her video was her badge too, And I was sent
one to Jenny, but then I didn't want Jenny to
get a complex or actually hurt, so I didn't send
you others, but I laughed so hard when you posted
the link for our podcast. You're like, I'd like to

(23:21):
be very clear. It was like like releasing a statement
about I was not a shoe. I had to, but
the swinging one was just of your thighs, so it
was just edging.

Speaker 2 (23:31):
Yeah, the cusp of that madge.

Speaker 1 (23:33):
Again, I was like, oh my god, but.

Speaker 2 (23:35):
Those leggings are like these bright purple leggings and almost
any time that I do a flight workout, I said,
and found a photo of me and home because it
is pure crush sweat, and I'm like, look at this.
So anyways, we sent each other some really weird shit sometimes,
so it's not abnormal that I would have sent you
my boom floppies. No, not at all. I think before
I posted this one photo of like me at a

(23:57):
farmer's market, I saw my nips just piercing through, and
I go, do I post this or should I edit
my nips? And You're like, no, I don't think it's
that obvious.

Speaker 1 (24:03):
You know, Yeah, there are somewhere I'm like, eh, nipples exist,
Like it wasn't like staring at me too much. Do
you know who Megan Fay he is, Yes, she's if
you don't know. She was in The White Lotus and
she was in a show I watched before that that
was like The Bold Type and I loved it so much.
But she did this I don't know what it's an interview,

(24:26):
and I thought this was such an interesting quote. She said,
I walked into therapy and I described myself to my
therapist as a people pleaser. She was like, there's a
difference between being a people pleaser and wanting to control
people's perception of who you are. Oh, okay, I am
the latter. Yeah, one thousand percent. I would say, I'm

(24:49):
not like a crazy people pleaser anyway. I knew that
about myself. Where if I don't want to do something,
ninety percent of the time, I will truly be like no,
because this this is not what and that sometimes, but
sometimes ten person, I feel guilty and I will say okay.

Speaker 2 (25:05):
Especially if it's like work related or like.

Speaker 1 (25:08):
I won't get into it because I felt that would
give a way information. But I'll feel like I should
say yes. But most of the time I'm old enough,
I'm like, I don't like, sorry, no on my time
is too valuable for me, right, So, but I do
think I want to control people's perception of who I
am because of my job, but also beyond that, I

(25:31):
think I was like that before I had a job
like this, because I you know, I think most people
you desperately want people to think you're a good person,
or you're a nice person or things like that. And
I think that for me, I've had people in my
life in the past who've made me question if I
am and I've gone to therapy about it. I'm like,
I don't know if I'm a good person or a

(25:52):
nice person, and they're good about talking to me because
I'm like, I don't think I'm like trying to put
on a mask that I'm a good person. But I'm like,
I'm pretty bluntly myself, and I think that when you
are pretty much yourself, people can have a very polarizing
view on you. They can either love you or hate you.

(26:13):
So I'm like, I hope that people know that if
I have a strong opinion about something that like that
doesn't mean I'm an awful person. Maybe we disagree on that,
and so I do really get in my head. I
used to be a lot worse about it. I've gotten better,
and I do think it truly is age of not
caring as much. I think I'll always care to a degree,
but I've gotten good about Like if something someone writes

(26:34):
something mean about me in a comment, I don't usually
spend my entire day caring about it anymore. I'll make
a couple of funny comments to Jake, like, oh, well,
you know, but are good on you know, whatever it
may be, and then I move on the next day,
whereas before I would have let it paralyze me a
little bit for too long. Yeah, but I liked that outlook.
If your people pleaser, maybe think about it. Are you

(26:55):
people pleaser or are you trying to control people's perception
of you?

Speaker 2 (26:58):
Actually, man, I think mine is situational. I think I'm both.
I think I am definitely people pleaser, but I am
definitely want to control how people view me as well. I, however,
do feel like I'm doing too much people pleasing lately,
because I'm slightly overwhelmed just with life right now that
I had a lot of things happen, like a lot

(27:19):
of fun things that I did this weekend. But I
did enjoy them. I did not enjoy them to the
fullest that I should have, because I feel very overwhelmed
with some things in my life. And most of it's
just because I signed myself up for it, and I'm like,
why the fuck did I do this? Like whatever. So
I do think that I've become better at not I

(27:40):
don't put myself first. I think I've learned in a
lot of situations and I'm very much like, in this
newer chapter of my life, I'm trying to make sure
that I do put myself first because it's like, you know,
someone asked me to hang out and I'm like sure, yeah, yeah,
and then I'm like no, I'm honestly busy, like I
don't need to wheeze this in. So there's that, and

(28:03):
then there's also this is the part where I guess
I'm probably trying to control people's perception of me.

Speaker 1 (28:10):
Is I don't care what I post on social media anymore?

Speaker 2 (28:16):
And I think I used to think more about that,
like I didn't want to post this, uh real I
did of all these creepy dms or weird dms I
got because I felt like it made me look cocky
and conceited that I have weird fucking dudes in my
DM saying these things. And I was like, but that's
not why I'm posting it. I'm posting it because I
think it's funny. Yes, But I kept thinking, but people

(28:37):
are going to think this way about me, And I
was like, what the fuck? I came up with this
idea that it'd be funny to like make fun of
these people. Just post it. It's who I am, right,
Why does it matter? Why am I thinking that many
steps ahead about that? So I have changed a little
bit in that aspect. But no, I definitely got to
work on probably saying no to more things.

Speaker 1 (28:57):
Yeah, I will say you, I don't think you really
talked about it very much, but you did say the
Yacht Club Festival was awesome.

Speaker 2 (29:02):
Yes, it was so much fun. I mean it was
really busy. They definitely did a better job this year
because the lines are crazy. Last year, I feel like
they had more bathroom options, the lines for drinks were
I don't know why it went faster. I don't know
what they did differently because they didn't have more stands
or anything. Yeah, but it was it was so much fun.

(29:22):
It's a very well put together event. Even last year
it was like all the artists were right on time.
There's a strict curfew with Saint Paul, so like the
headliner has to be done by ten thirty. There's no
going past that, Whereas like certain you go to the
armory and an EDM show might not start to one
in the morning. Practically it's crazy, So that was nice.

(29:43):
It was a good time. I did a sneak fireball
into my pants alone as my girlfriend put them in
her boobs, and I had a clear like KDWB fanny
pack bag that I brought in, so as I get in,
obviously I take them out of my pants and put
them in my bag. And I'm at the bar and
the bartender looking at me and I was like, hey,
do you have any wine. She's like, honestly, I don't
think anybody has wine this year. I was like, Oh,

(30:04):
that's a bummer. She's like, you might want to hide
those fireball shooters too, and I go what, And I.

Speaker 1 (30:09):
Like looked on.

Speaker 2 (30:09):
I was like, oh my bad. She's like, I don't care,
but you might get child So I had to like
they're just like right out there in the open and
I'm like, okay, whatever, sorry, but let me tell you
something that is not fun. Because it was kind of
like chilly randomly throughout the day on Friday, and then
it got decently warm in the evening again, and I

(30:30):
had those fireball shooters chilled, and then they of course
got warm in the transportation between places, and so I
took one of them and I'm like, ugh, warm fireball
is just not it. But my girlfriend hammered hers and
I still had one left over and I left it
out at her place. I was like, here's a partying
gift for you. You have fine, I don't need anymore.
But yeah, it was very fun. I'm excited to see

(30:52):
who's going to be there next year, because we talked
about this when we were all together yesterday, just that
it's exciting to see a music festival like that. Do
so I'll take off and be very well run and
get really good artists.

Speaker 1 (31:03):
Yeah, I know, because we've obviously, like had Basilica Block Festival,
and the country festivals seem to have mostly figured it out,
but for some reason, like mainstream can't figure it out,
like the rock pop can kind of crossover. Yeah, and
so I agree, like made me so proud of Minnesota
with how many still looks like my absolute nightmare. It's

(31:26):
really not as bad as I think you think it is,
because all I see are the over shots that have
like are million people.

Speaker 2 (31:33):
Yeah, books, it's not bad because here's the thing. People
are respectful because a lot of people bring blankets because
they'll be there all day, so people are respectful of
your space. I mean, I don't get super super close
to the front. I don't know what that experience is
because I am out of that face in my life
to never care about doing that. But I still feel
like you can see decently almost no matter where you are. Yeah,

(31:53):
you're probably gonna to look at the big screens mostly
if you're towards the back, you're not going to see
Hosey or standing on the stage. He's a tall man.
You're still not going to see him from the way back.
But I don't know. I think it's good. I think
the setup's good that you don't really have a bad
spot as long as you're not hoping to see the
artists like twenty feet away.

Speaker 1 (32:10):
Right. So Okay, well, maybe depending on who the book
next year, maybe I'll consider it. Right edge of your
seat waiting for that real we'll see anyway, we will
be back next week, so.

Speaker 2 (32:20):
I have one little coffee on to that.

Speaker 1 (32:23):
Maybe not. I am gonna jet away this coming weekend
because I think I need to get away and be
in nature, and I honestly want to be like off
grid totally in my van. So you're going to do
sunning of your asshole.

Speaker 2 (32:37):
Called parent.

Speaker 1 (32:38):
Parent.

Speaker 2 (32:38):
I don't know, but you're the only one who ever
brings that up, like only person. And you know how
hard I'd have to spread my cheeks to get son
in there. I have such big butt cheeks that like
i'd have it would be its own workout, just holding
home for a sixty seconds straight.

Speaker 1 (32:52):
You're welcome for the workout. Then will you come help?
And you get that invite him a d straight to
the source.

Speaker 2 (32:58):
No, but yeah, I might go out to town.

Speaker 1 (32:59):
And there's like a part of me that mentally feels
like I might want to take Monday off.

Speaker 2 (33:03):
I probably won't because now it's just even if we
could do yeah, it would still be Tuesday. Okay, yes,
and you do you get back Sunday from your trip.
I have like Saturday.

Speaker 1 (33:12):
Actually it's a short it's a short one. It was
just how the Airbnb booked, so it was like whatever,
that's what works. Yeah. Anyway, okay, cool cool. Well, hope
you have fun on your travels if you do it.

Speaker 2 (33:25):
Yeah, and hope you have You'll have fun. You always
have fun on le trip.

Speaker 1 (33:28):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (33:28):
I can't wait to hear about it.

Speaker 1 (33:29):
Thank you, have a great week. Bye.
