eight eight Zero Blue Church road In. Sunbury there's a

(00:21):
little hold up on, expressway probably cleared out by, now
but a little bit of a back up, there BUT
i think it's probably open at this. Stage but just
about about a seven minute drive off of the expressway
and you're here huge. Trees it's trees. Galore if you're
looking to plant a tree on this arbor day, Weekend

(00:42):

Trees and again go to their website columbustrees dot com

going to be here till noon. Broadcasting come out and

You you can do it. Yourself we'll talk to him

(01:02):
about that a little bit later on because of his
time for The Buggy Joe Boggs, report that one would
be Mister Joe bogg's assistant professor commerci orders just a
university extension Depend why you laugh at me WHEN i say,
That it's JUST.

Speaker 2 (01:16):
I love the way you get. These.

Speaker 1 (01:17):
Yeah The Little Voice choice website is A byg y'll
dot ALWAYS u ed you ladies and. Gentlemen the one
the only Mister Buggy Joe boggs And JOE i. WAS
i just barely got here in time because there was
a little backup on the expressway And, ellen, Yeah ellen
was gonna tell and now she's. Disappointed So i'm going
to just sit back for a second and Let ella

(01:39):
take over for The Buggy Joe Boggs.

Speaker 2 (01:41):
REPORT i like.

Speaker 3 (01:43):
IT i like, it just like it to be known
That Buggy Joe boggs AND i have the same opinion on.
CENTIPEDES i thought maybe he was going to defend them to,
me but now he's also not a.

Speaker 1 (01:54):
Fan is that all the legs or what's the?

Speaker 4 (01:59):
Deal that's what he, said exactly what you.

Speaker 2 (02:01):
Said too many, legs, exactly too many. LEGS i, mean they're.
Predators we should like. Them they're good, arthropods you. Know
but but you know outside, now if you see them,
outside well that's that's where they. Belong but when they're you,
know when they're crawling across your bed, spread that's PROBABLY
i think that's what. Happened is that what you? Said
all of? It when it dropped down from the ceiling or,

(02:22):
something and it.

Speaker 4 (02:23):
Was, like don't make it even worse than it.

Speaker 1 (02:26):
Was it.

Speaker 5 (02:26):
Was it.

Speaker 4 (02:29):
Wasn't it was on the wall next to my bed and.

Speaker 2 (02:36):
At that, distance what is about a foot and a half?
Long is that What i'm? Hearing is there something.

Speaker 4 (02:42):
A million? Legs?

Speaker 2 (02:43):
Yes, well you know that's interesting because it's a little
nice little segue. Here you, know you said million, legs
and of course that applies to a, millipede which you,
know these little they're they're very most of them are
very small in All ohio. Millipedes they're the ones where
they kind of look worm, like but they're a very

(03:06):
hard exoskeleton and the legs are underneath so you kind
of can't see them and it almost looks like they're
just floating.

Speaker 4 (03:13):
Along don't manifest.

Speaker 2 (03:15):
Life, well, millipedes you, know the name is derived from
a million. Legs but at certain times of the, year
and it can happen in the, spring we'll get these
mass migrations of millipedes towards you, know towards. HOMES a

(03:35):
lot of times they'll show up in huge numbers in
the garages and In ella's. Bedroom, sorry just keeps moving.
It but but you do, see you, know large. Numbers
these don't let these migrations don't last, long and there's

(03:56):
there really isn't much information on what drives. Them they're
very short lived. Things but back to the, centipedes where
the legs are very very, LONG i mean the. Bot
you just see this body and you see a hundred the,
centa you see a hundred legs coming. Out and, Yeah,
ELLA i do. Share you're not a big, fan not

(04:19):
a big fan in the, house not a big. FAN
i have to admit there's there's a little bit of.
THAT i think it's because you, know at one, time,
millipedes for, example were much, bigger but centipedes at one
time were the size of. People, what, YES i.

Speaker 1 (04:38):
Think this was this one wasn't her? Dreams? Also are
you like in.

Speaker 3 (04:42):
A nineteen fifty six sci fi black and white, Film
no used to.

Speaker 2 (04:48):
People well we're talking. Back this is this is not
that long. Ago it's When ron AND i were in
high school during The carboniferous, period you, know pre dating.
DINOSAURS i didn't date. DINOSAURS i think you, Did, ron.

Speaker 1 (05:03):
Did you say yew, yes that's.

Speaker 2 (05:05):
Right but, yes you, know there were higher levels of
oxygen in the atmosphere and that was able to support
big things like giant dragonflies and centipedes that were, yes
longer than people and you and they are they are
also AGAIN i want to go. Back these are. Predacious

(05:25):
they have they have, chillicra they have these these structures
in their mouth parts that can inject a toxin and
uh and so, yes even today In australia for, example
of Course, australia there's everything that can kill you In, australia,
RIGHT i mean.

Speaker 4 (05:44):
They say that's where the devil keeps his.

Speaker 2 (05:46):
Pets that's. GOOD i like. That, well you know there
are some big centipedes In, australia in in, uh in
the big centipedes and in The, AMAZON i mean you,
know really centipedes that you know, that, yeah you wouldn't
want to come. Across but our centipedes have much longer.

(06:10):
LEGS i, mean so there's way more legs than. Body
they're still they are still. Predaceous they still go after,
things and that's what pulls them into our. Homes NOW
i Realize i'm skirting along the edge, Here, ella you
might just hang up on me WHEN i WHEN i
say what it's about to, SAY i.

Speaker 3 (06:29):
THINK i know what you're about to. Say are you
about to tell me that seeing centipedes in my home
means that there's a lot more worse stuff in.

Speaker 2 (06:37):
There just don't look under your, Bed that's All i'm, saying, Right,
Ron just don't you, know don't go look.

Speaker 4 (06:44):
There who's under? There, well it's not that.

Speaker 2 (06:49):
Who it's the what that we're worried. About, right whatever's
pulling the centipedes, In this isn't going to happen, again is, It?

Speaker 4 (06:56):
Ron just tell, Me just tell.

Speaker 5 (06:58):
Me.

Speaker 2 (07:00):
So centipedes come into homes, hunting and it doesn't mean
you know that we have anything in our, homes but
they're looking for food and you, know the favorite a
favorite way for them to get in is around a door,
sweeps you, know are underdoors you might want to look
out of like, it you, know see if the door

(07:22):
sweep goes right to the floor or if there's now
a gap also around the window frames and back to,
doors door, jams so you know they can find their way.
In they're very. Flat they're, hunting and, no it doesn't
mean that they're tracking something into your. Home it just

(07:44):
means they accidentally find their way in as they're as they're.

Speaker 3 (07:47):
HUNTING i do have a lot of food in my,
bed SO i think we found.

Speaker 2 (07:51):
The, WELL i, mean unless you have, hamburgers you, know
because they're meat. Eaters, okay they are meat. Eaters, yeah
they eat other they eat other. Arthropods they love to
eat insect eggs for. Example uh that we eat soft bodied,

(08:11):
insects you. Know SO i, mean as a matter of, fact,
WELL i just had.

Speaker 4 (08:17):
A chicken sandwich in bed last. Night SO.

Speaker 1 (08:22):
I want to hear your. Stories, YEAH i could just see.

Speaker 2 (08:26):
It now that's the pas outside and just oh my,
Goodness ella has got. There you. Go that's What that's
WHY i did, it right, Ron.

Speaker 1 (08:35):
Hey, joe Did ella also take it to the next.
Step as she's getting in the, car something black flew
by her, Face, yeah and came in the car with. Her.

Speaker 3 (08:49):
Yeah it was something big and, loud so WHEN i started,
driving it like buzzed past my face and almost made me.

Speaker 1 (08:54):
Crash but it did not have vampire.

Speaker 4 (08:57):
TEETH i don't. KNOW i didn't look close.

Speaker 1 (08:59):
Enough it might but she rolled the window down and it.
Left So i'm not sure where she was last night
or what was in the grilled chicken.

Speaker 2 (09:06):
Sandwich i'm just, yes this sounds like quite an.

Speaker 3 (09:09):
Adventure so the question is this a particular buggy time of?

Speaker 4 (09:13):
Year are we going to see more right? Now?

Speaker 2 (09:16):
Well, YEAH i mean things are waking, up so anything that,
overwintered you know that in a mobile, stage you know
they're waking up actually have been going on for a.
While but of course there are a lot of things
that overwintered as eggs or you, know in an immobile.
Stage but now it's when things get. Started So i'm

(09:37):
back to wonder what that. WAS i think it seems
a little early for horse, flies doesn't? It to? Uronomy
you said it was a large black thing that came buzzing.
In on the other, hand do you think it was a?
Bee ella b? Ella it's.

Speaker 3 (09:56):
POSSIBLE i, mean it was dark out and it was,
fat it was, loud it had girth to.

Speaker 4 (10:03):
IT i could feel it if you know WHAT i.

Speaker 2 (10:06):
Mean, Wow, Well i'm. Glad, yeah in that, Case i'm
PRETTY i would say probably likely a carpenter. Bee and
as long as you don't act like a dry piece of,
woods you're, okay Right, RON i, mean that's the main,
thing because carpenter bees, first let me go. Back they're
very very important. Pollinators they're often mistaken for. Bumblebees and

(10:27):
then of course we know bumblebees are important bond, pollinators
but carpenter bees overwinter as, female so they're busy right.
NOW i, mean if you have flowers, out my, wife you,
know has some pansies.

Speaker 1 (10:42):
Flowers, out do, not.

Speaker 2 (10:44):
But it was it may have been so it came
in your. Car do you have like a you, know
something that smells fresh in your? Car you, know it
landed on.

Speaker 3 (10:54):
Me it was in my hair because it flew into
me outside AND i thought it was, Gone but THEN
i got in my car and it was there with.

Speaker 4 (11:01):
Me So i'm guessing it hitched a ride in my.

Speaker 2 (11:03):
Hair getting more horrible as you move, ALONG i STILL
i think.

Speaker 1 (11:11):
This may be a great time to take a, Break.
Joe think about what all of these things could be
With ella and then we'll come back and you can
you can kind of summarize what you think happened To
ella last night and this morning with all the. Bugs
they're broadcasting live today from The Columbus trees up In
sunbury or On Blue Church. Road stop, out say, hello

(11:31):
we're going to be here till. Noon google find out
where they Are columbustrees dot. Com take a quick. Break
we come back more than Buggy Joe Boggs report with
a Mystery bugs With ella here on news radio six
to TEN wtvn broadcasting live today From Columbus. Trees stop
out and say, hello we're going to be here till.
Noon go to the Website columbustrees dot. Com they're On

(11:54):
Blue Church, Road. Sunbury get the, directions head on out
about the five, six seven minutes off the expressway and
uh lots of trees pre dug and ready for. You
they'll dig trees as, well and we'll talk about that
a little bit later on because it's time for part
two with The Bugget Joe Boggs. Report Mister Joe BOGGS
oshu extension of, course their website BYG l DOT, o
S u DOT e D. U ella is just all

(12:16):
bugged out this.

Speaker 2 (12:16):
Morning i'll tell, You i'm starting to put it. TOGETHER i,
Mean i'm, thinking all, right so she had something very,
large some large black insects that that apparently hiked hitchhiked
in her, hair into the into her, car and then,
she you, know woke up with this giant centipede you,

(12:38):
know on over her. Bed is that, right that which
is a. Predator So i'm kind of thinking there's some connections.
Here don't you think we're? ON i mean it sounds that.

Speaker 1 (12:48):
Way so maybe that centipede was chasing whatever flew into her.

Speaker 2 (12:51):
Hair i'm putting that. TOGETHER i was there.

Speaker 4 (12:55):
First they just KNOW i always have food on.

Speaker 2 (12:59):
Me so you talk about. Anticipation buds are like.

Speaker 4 (13:03):
TODDLERS i always have. Snacks you.

Speaker 2 (13:07):
Know it did occur to me, THOUGH i, said carpenter,
bees which is a, Possibility but L i think a
carpenter b that and NOW i think about, it they're not.
Likely now this isn't at? Night is? Again is that when.

Speaker 4 (13:20):
This happened five o'clock this?

Speaker 2 (13:23):
Morning all, Right, yeah that's a little that's a little.
Early carpenter bees aren't typically night. Flyers but there is
something else that could be going on, here and those
would be carpenter. Ants, Ron now think about that carpenter
ant bee ant. Queens they're not as big As, yeah

(13:45):
they're not as big as a carpenter B but the
queens of carpenter ants swarm two times a. Year This
they swarm in the spring and then they swarm later
in the, summer and they do. Buzz they're not great,
flyers and they do make a very loud you, know
they do make a buzzing. Sound and they are. Black

(14:08):
that's kind of. One was it was it?

Speaker 1 (14:09):
Black? Ella do you? Know was it just?

Speaker 3 (14:11):
DARK i think it was, Black, Okay, MAROON i don't know.

Speaker 1 (14:18):
We Had we've already got beetles flying around the light,
window around the porch already at our House May june.

Speaker 2 (14:24):
Beetles, yeah those are those are, brown little brown. Bombers
but now THAT i suppose that could have been it.
Too this is really a fascinating thing all.

Speaker 1 (14:32):
GOING i THINK i think she flipped out seeing the,
centipede and THEN i think this smaller insect got bigger
as it hit her in the in the.

Speaker 2 (14:39):
Hair that's What i'm hearing, Too. RON i think now we're,
talking we're talking in many many. Inches we're not just
talking like a little tiny, YEAH i know how that.
Is you, know there there are a lot of things
though going on at this time of, year and this
is kind of an INTERESTING i, Mean ella that you
took us in an interesting direction in terms Of, okay

(15:01):
so what could be flying around out? There? Uh May june. Beetles,
yeah they sort of look a little like. SCHAFERS a
lot of times people mistake them for, uh you, know
for southern or northern mass, chafers or maybe Even european,
chafers which you, know we tend to relate that, to you,

(15:21):
know grubs beneath turf. Grass But May june beetles don't
don't really operate that, way except they do come out
in large, numbers uh in you, know in the. Spring you.
Know in, FACT i wish there was No june in
their name right, ron because it's Usually april To, may
like right now when we start seeing. Them they're attracted to.

(15:45):
Lights they aren't great, FLYERS i, mean all beetles fly around.
Them their hind, wings their front wings are are modified
into these hardened structures that we call leitra that actually
that actually covers the hind. Wings so beetles are not.
Great that's why we say bumbling. Beetles they're not great flyers,
typically and in the case Of May june, beetles that

(16:08):
is also another, possibility simply because of that buzzing sound
that you. Heard so how do you like that you
may have had all three? THOUGH i, mean did you
look in the back seat to, see you, know what
was sitting back?

Speaker 1 (16:21):
There, ella what did you look in the back? Seat
joe wants to know if you looked in the back.

Speaker 4 (16:29):
Seat you always look in the back seat.

Speaker 1 (16:31):
To see if anything else was sitting back.

Speaker 4 (16:32):
THERE i always.

Speaker 2 (16:33):
DO i mean after this, discussion you probably won't in the, future,
right or you just open the door and make.

Speaker 3 (16:39):
Sure eighties beadies kids, know if you read scary stories
to tell in the, dark you always check the back.

Speaker 2 (16:44):
Seat oh there you. Go, YES i know exactly what you're.

Speaker 1 (16:48):
Saying joan prophecy guy.

Speaker 3 (16:51):
Too you, know, yeah oh, yeah, yeah the Moth man
To West virginia to the, MUSEUM.

Speaker 2 (16:58):
I have. BEEN i actually he grew up not far
from there and Have, yeah, YEAH i grew up in
that's point. Pleasant it is a. Story, Yeah so THAT'S
i suppose, now we're at another. Possibility so that's what
it Was mothman this. Morning Moth. Man, well, no see
he's much bigger than. That he wouldn't but that could

(17:21):
have been one of his little moth, minions, Right, RON
i MEAN i think THAT'S i could be, WELL i
THINK i, thought, well it's a, mystery but one worth,
solving isn't.

Speaker 1 (17:36):
It, yes it is all, Right so you've helped. Out
did you have anything else that you wanted to talk
about this?

Speaker 2 (17:42):
MORNING i really didn't have a whole lot beyond we
can talk next week about a few interesting things that
you AND i had this conversation ABOUT ai generated, plants oh. Pictures,
YEAH i, was, uh you, Know i'm kind of behind of.
TIMES i didn't realize that was a lot of a

(18:02):
lot of that posted last year and SOMEHOW i missed.

Speaker 1 (18:05):
It but it's for a, while it has.

Speaker 2 (18:09):
Been but but you know, WHAT i, Like, ron and
this will be just to get everybody all primed for next.
Week what about those plants that are so strange looking
in terms of leaves bloom that you that they look
like THEY'RE ai? Generated AND i always go to passion.
FLOWER i just that's one of my that's actually one

(18:31):
of my favorite all time flowers because it just doesn't look.
RIGHT i, mean, honestly if you when you see a
picture of a passion flower and you look at these
OTHER ai generated, images well you could easily believe.

Speaker 1 (18:48):
Category.

Speaker 2 (18:49):
Yeah, yeah a topic for next. Week what do you
think about?

Speaker 1 (18:54):
That we'll leave everyone hanging with THE ai passion flower Buggy, Joe, Bob,
joe thank you so.

Speaker 2 (19:02):
Much on a passion. Flower that would be The that
would be the best thing right, there wouldn't.

Speaker 1 (19:07):
IT i think mostly what you did this morning was
scared the heck out Of. Ellen Now i'll be surprised
if she even goes back into her house this.

Speaker 2 (19:13):
Evening our work is.

Speaker 4 (19:15):
Done it's gonna get a good spray. Down i'll tell you.

Ohio stop out and say, hello going to be your till.
Noon it's a little, overcast it's a cool. Day as
a matter of. Fact you, know you think about planting
trees spring or. Fall but if you're thinking about you,
know you like planning in the. Fall all you have
to do is come out here today and pretend it's the,

(20:12):
fall because it's kind of like fall weather with a
nice and cool a little bit of mist in the.
Air it's really a nice day to come out and
check it. Out all the salespeople are here and they'll
take you, around show you what's going. On i'ms a
matter of fact to tell us a little bit more
About Columbus trees and you go to their Website Columbus
trees Dot. Com Is Andrew, miller and first of, All Andrew,
Miller i've got to, say that's your house right, there

(20:33):
right it. Is that is absolutely. Gorgeous thank you so.

Speaker 5 (20:36):
Much it's a.

Speaker 1 (20:37):
Pleasure did you build? That, no.

Speaker 5 (20:42):
It's SOMETHING i would build.

Speaker 1 (20:43):
Though, wow that is. Gorgeous the wood and the stone
and the metal. Roof i'm assuming it's a metal. Roof.

Speaker 5 (20:48):
Yeah we're very blessed to be able to live this
close to the, business and just, yeah it's a beautiful.

Speaker 1 (20:53):
Property just try tell you what if you don't need?
Trees drive out here and see his. House, yeah, yeah,
yeah come look at my. House can we walk through your? House? Sure,
yeah you can't take us through and give us a little.

Speaker 5 (21:06):
You can grant maybe not everybody.

Speaker 1 (21:08):
Grant our engineer, here he's already been in there. Twice
you didn't even know.

Speaker 5 (21:12):
It oh, GEEZ i don't need to talk about way in.

Speaker 1 (21:14):
The fridge as. Well, YEAH i GUESS i don't. Know
but that's, beautiful absolutely, beautiful nice. Place how long has
this been, here.

Speaker 5 (21:22):
This, Business, yeah we've opened about a year.

Speaker 1 (21:25):
Ago, okay. Yep we moved.

Speaker 5 (21:28):
In this whole area here is now gravel.

Speaker 2 (21:32):
Was just.

Speaker 5 (21:32):
Pasture so we removed a lot of the grass here
and we put some gravel down and we brought in
over a thousand. Trees so we have them all in
ball and burr lap ready to, go ready to sell
to our customers and installing their.

Speaker 1 (21:46):
Yards now It's columbus. Trees grow trees. HERE i got
here late, obviously SO i haven't had a chance a
tour around. Yet grow trees on the property as.

Speaker 5 (21:53):
Well, no We've we've made a network of growers that
we work with throughout the. Year we purchased the trees
from them before they dig. Them they dig them straight
out of the, ground put burlap on, them throw them
on a semi and bring them out here for our
customers to kind of walk. Around you put your name
on the, tree and the tree shows up at your
house with the crew and we pop it in your

(22:15):
yard and you get to enjoy.

Speaker 1 (22:17):
It so you have sources for all. It because most
of the trees that you, SAW i mean you have smaller,
ones but most of them are pretty good. Sized oh.

Speaker 5 (22:23):
Yeah we start at a two inch trunk diameter for
our shade trees and, forevergreens we start about six feet
and we go all the way up to fourteen feet
for our kindifer trees and our shade. TREES i mean
we go all the way up to six inch sometimes
seven inch of a trunk diameter and those will reach

(22:44):
i mean upwards of thirty feet or so in. Height
so you're looking at very, mature substantial. Trees when we
plant trees for, you and.

Speaker 1 (22:52):
When it Says columbus, trees it is. Trees it is.

Speaker 5 (22:55):
Trees it's all we.

Speaker 1 (22:56):
Do that's all you. Do.

Speaker 5 (22:57):
Yep that's kind of how we. Operate and that's what
sets us apart from a lot of the, others is
we just focus on. Trees we do it really, well
we do it really, efficiently and that's how we can
also keep our prices. Affordable we've just learned how to do.
This it's a science, now so we just are really
good at what we.

Speaker 1 (23:16):
Do so do you sell any green giant.

Speaker 5 (23:18):
Arborviding we sell a lot of green giant.

Speaker 1 (23:20):
Arborvidy so if somebody wants to screen off their backyard
from the neighbors or whatever the neighbor's backyard from, them
or if you live next door To, grant because they
have a tensing he has tension not pull his shades
down all the way and you try to screen off his.
Yard you've got that seems to be the hot evergreen
of choice right. Now.

Speaker 5 (23:40):
Yep absolutely hard to. Find, yep hard to. Find and
we have the biggest yet you're ever going to. See
so we have thirteen fourteen foot green giants out.

Speaker 1 (23:48):
Here wait a, minute thirteen to fourteen foot green. Giants,
yes they.

Speaker 5 (23:53):
Tower you put them right next to each. Other they
can grow really well into each, other the arbor vity,
family so you can pop them as close as you
want to each, other make that instant great wall of
green giants and you will never see your neighbor ever
again unless you want.

Speaker 1 (24:09):
To CAN i ask the, price the?

Speaker 5 (24:13):
Idea just to those, Curious all of our pricing is really.
Simple so those are going to be upwards of thirteen
fourteen hundred dollars each that includes, installation so there's no
hidden fees. There everything's built into the price of each.
Tree and you start getting quantity discounts once you start
buying ten or. So BUT i, mean if if you

(24:35):
just wanted a six foot, revity a lot more, affordable
and they grow really, fast so once you get them
in there for a couple of years.

Speaker 1 (24:43):
And you think about this fourteen, footer thirteen hundred. Bucks
you get three of, those four of, those and you
know you're. Done you're you've got the. Screen, yeah and
you're not going to wait five.

Speaker 5 (24:53):
Years, hey we live in.

Speaker 1 (24:55):
There we live in a world of instant.

Speaker 5 (24:56):
Gratifications so What i'm, saying that's that's where we kind of.
Sit so if somebody doesn't want to plant a little
tiny tree and white for it to grow for many, years,
uh this is this is where you come put.

Speaker 1 (25:08):
It where you get the big. Stuff but if you
have the time and you want to you got a
little bit more lemoned. Budget you're at that end, also,
absolutely so you can take care Of they're talking With Andrew.

they got the cicadas coming out, there but Fourteen.

Speaker 5 (26:16):
YEAH i THINK i saw a cicada the other.

Speaker 1 (26:18):
Day oh really dead? One, yeah, yeah he's he's on his.
BACK i don't. Know i've already gotten some. Emails the
mud tunnels that they, make they're because there right is
sixty four degrees soil temp. Me sure they start to
make the move right and we've been, there so they're
starting to make the move down. There so everybody be
flocking the Southwest ohio Oh blue. Fourteen, Yeah i'll just
wait for. It oh, YEAH i think the next For

(26:39):
columbus is let till twenty in twenty thirty, SOMETHING i don't. Think,
yeah so we got to what we got a ways to?

Speaker 5 (26:45):
Go MAYBE i didn't see a cicada you, Could, yeah
still was. Dead you maybe got.

Speaker 1 (26:50):
Lost they get. Computed you know what's In and by the,
way we're broadcasting live today From Columbus. Trees go to
their Website Columbus trees dot.

Speaker 3 (26:57):
Com.

Speaker 1 (26:58):
Uh they're On Blue Church road and. SUN i used
to stop out and, say, oh it's it's actually it's really,
overcast but it's a nice, day a little. Breezy put
on your boots and a coat and come on. Out
you'll you'll think it's. Fall it feels like. Fall feels Like.
Falluh but a great selection of. Trees all their salespeople
are here ready to talk to you about getting the
right tree for the right. Spot and then they've got

(27:18):
them got the food going over, here we got donuts over,
here we got your son over. Here who won't who
won't talk to us on the. Radio but that's all,
right and it's worth the drive just to See andrew's
house because it's absolutely.

Speaker 5 (27:30):
Gorgeous we're gonna keep talking about my.

Speaker 1 (27:32):
House it's like it's worth coming out here just to
see the. House trust, Me i'm a. Kidd so, anyway
unique business that you have here in the fact that
you guys go and you find these larger trees and
evergreens and shrubs and then have them dug and brought.
Here and of course they're locally, grown meeting within a

(27:52):
state or two around soil wise pretty much the. Same,
yes carding the zone is all still the. Same and
then of course you you guys go, select tag, them
have them dug and then brought them back to. You
so the selection does it stay the inventory like your
lists stay pretty consistent all the.

Speaker 5 (28:08):
Time, yeah so year to, year the majority of our
inventory is the same as we know what people want
now so over the. Years this is a third location
for the. Company so we started In indiana about fifteen years,
ago have a couple of locations over. There this is
our first time coming over In ohio open about a year.
Ago but we learned what people. Like we learned that

(28:31):
people like big trees and the certain types of trees
that they, like so we bring them all here get
them in here early, spring load up the lot, here
everyone comes, out picks out the trees they, like and
then our crews show up and pop them under.

Speaker 1 (28:46):
Yard so as we go through the summer, season will
you try to continue to keep the inventories through the
summer as, well so you've got. Something you, know It's
july thirtieth and then we just finished building our house
and we want to add a couple of. Trees even
though it's middle of the, summer you'll still have a
great inventory that.

Speaker 5 (29:02):
Time we operate year, round so we the growers will
only dig in the, spring early, spring, uh and then
in the, fall so that's when we get our trees
in and then, yeah so that's we hold them all.
Year make sure we order enough in to spring so
we can make it through the summer until we get
our fall.

Speaker 1 (29:21):
Inventory.

Speaker 5 (29:22):
Uh and so we'll always have something that the customer
is going to.

Speaker 1 (29:26):
Want so, now, obviously you, know for, ME i want
to see the tree pick the tree out myself at Suttert.
Soutter but there are a lot of folks that have no.
Problem AND i admit THAT i said twenty five years,
ago nobody's going to buy plants. ONLINE i was the first.
ONE i, said nobody's going to buy flowers Or japanese
maple or whatever online ain't gonna. Happen, well guess what.

Speaker 5 (29:44):
We Have Columbus trees dot. Com you can get on
there see the majority of our. Inventory we constantly get
a couple of new things every, year so a little
bit slower to update, that but most of our stuff's on.
There you can buy the tree you online and we're
gonna go out in the yard and after we get your,

(30:05):
order pick out the best one of that, tree put
your name on, it and then that's the one that
shows up at your. House we'll give you a, call
schedule time and all that good, stuff and then we
get the tree into.

Speaker 1 (30:16):
Your yard for, you and THEN i guarantee you.

Speaker 5 (30:21):
Are we have all of our pricing includes the one year, warranty,
okay so that one your. Warranty and then we offer
an organic. Fertilizer it's worm castings and composts and all sciensy.
Stuff we put it in the. Hole wise we're planting the,
tree and if you pay the seventy five dollars for
that per, tree it will extend that warranty from one

(30:43):
year to three, years can't go.

Speaker 1 (30:44):
