Greg and Tiffany first matched on Tinder two weeks ago and actually went for drinks the same day they matched. Greg thought they hit things off and they actually went on an official date with each other the following week. However, ever since they got dinner Greg hasn’t heard back from Tiffany and he thinks it’s because he had to take a quick ten-minute work call during dinner.

We call Tiffany trying to figure out if there is anything else between her and Greg that happened that may have caused things to go wrong and Tiffany tells us she wasn’t a fan of Greg taking a work call that ended up being something else instead! (00:00):
He in turned John and Your MorningShow. Second date of date, you
feel the vibe with somebody, maybein person, maybe it was on an
app. You end up going ona date or a couple of days and
then nothing, You don't hear back. We trat figure out what's going on
and bringing back on Greg, goodmorning, good morning. How are you

(00:20):
doing that? Well? Man?So let's get to this. This is
a rather shorter um, I guesslove story. If you will, you
and Tiffany match swear on tender.Yeah, I know, noment. She
was cool all right, yeah,no, no, but yeah it was
it was nice an it was Joeahead, yes, and that was two

(00:41):
weeks ago. Yeah, we wentout later that day. I went to
a cool cocktail place right down thestreet. Um, you know, and
it was nice. Yeah. Wejust did some happy hour stuff, got
a couple of little apps, um, and and we seem to hit it
off. So you know, uh, we weren't immediately you know, free
to go out again. But youknow, several days later we ended up

(01:03):
going out, like on a datedate to a nice dinner place. Okay,
and um, my first thought waslike tender obviously has um negative connotations
or man negative but like more thehook up apps, so because it's hook
up app, and then we metthat day for drinks, like there wasn't

(01:23):
anything after that. There was nogo back to your place or go back
to her place. No, butyou know, I Tender can be like
that. But it's also you know, it's DC, so it's an overly
used app. So there's a lotof different pools of people there and and
that wasn't the vibe. Like andyou know, honestly, if you looked
at my profile looked at hers, like granted I've got some profile matches like

(01:45):
that, and that is the vibeand that's you know, yeah, but
either way, so yeah, um, we was just short lived but appropriate
and nice. And you know thenwe start obviously basically when moved from the
Hinder that we were just texting, you know, and I we texted a
good bit hit off, uh anddecide, you know, like let's go

(02:07):
to like a nice are, likelet's do like a real date. So
I went to I took her tothis place called Maydon. I don't know
if you've ever been there. Prettygood, Yeah it's Michelin Star, I
believe. Yeah, I mean yousee like one of Obama's favorite restaurants as
these big fancy doors. It's like, yeah, yeah, before my buddy
runs it yet Walker, Okay, cool, Yeah, well I have to

(02:30):
try to keep that in mind. But either way, so like it was
really really good, you know,I mean they usually have a pretty long
wait. We got some like halloomicheese. It was some wine and let's
let's so let's get too because thatwas last Wednesday. We haven't heard from
our sins and there's nothing you canthink of from that that particular date that

(02:50):
would make you or make her notwant to reach out. Well, uh,
you know, I'm so so Itook like a little bit of a
work call. We finally, youknow, we shot down and yeah,
we were really hitting it off andthen I, you know, I had
this work call and uh, youknow, I just I took it real
quick. But she said, youknow, I told her really sorry when

(03:12):
the call popped up. She said, no, it's really fine, you
know. And so yeah, soI did that and then we went back
to it. You know, howlong was he? Uh, I don't
know, maybe give or take sevento twelve okay, maybe fifteen tops.
Okay, Okay, So let meask I'm not call her. I'll try

(03:34):
to get going with us, um, because i'd love to hear her side
of this. On one second, see we can get her because as long
as she was cool with it,then yeah, probably in the clear.
But i'd like to pay you Tiffanyhere in a SECONDE all call her Tiffany
please? Yes? She who's Hey, Tiffany, it's the intern John.

(03:58):
I got Rose here as well yourmorning show. Um. Can we talked
to on the air real quick aboutsomething? Nothing not nothing bad? Um?
Okay, So I appreciate that we'redoing a second date update, Tiffany.
I had somebody on the phone here, Greg who says that he matched
you on tender about two weeks agoand he had date last week. Greg,

(04:19):
if you want to say hi,Hey, perfect and so yep and
so basically Tiffany, Greg Kayne toldus about the date and how we had
cocktails a week before last week wasdinner and we're just trying to figure out
what's going on. You know,it's only been a week. But are
we feeling or no? Sorry,I'm taken about a little surprise. Um

(04:44):
okay, wow, I've never hadthis hap before. Um. Yeah,
I just wasn't feeling it. Noshame in the game. Is there something
in particular the major not feel it? M he was a nice guy,
but um, he like took awork call in the middle of our dinner

(05:08):
and it was like I tried tobe understanding, but it was really awkward
because it was quite long, andit was like, um, I don't
know, it was really weird,so I just didn't. It didn't really
feel long. He mentioned that bar. But he may seem like you were
cool with it. I mean, well, yeah, like at first I

(05:28):
was understanding, but it was likeit was like a scheduled like teams meeting
thing. It was like him listeningto a conference call and it was super
long. Like, um, itwasn't like it just popped up or anything
like. This was like scheduled andit was like seventy minutes long. Was
like sitting there on my phone. It was really weird. He wasn't even
like participating. He was just kindof listening to the No, he didn't

(05:48):
add anything. He put it onspeaker phone, just like listening. Super
awkward. It's a major part toleave out. Oh look, I mean
I said a couple words in thecall. Okay, But that's not really
the point though. It's it's like, if you knew that call is going

(06:10):
to be happening that day, whynot make dinner an hour later? Yeah,
I mean, I'm you know,I'm doing things out here, like
you kind of popped up. It'snot like it was like, oh,
well, the day I you know, you know, after out that okay
call was already debueled or anything.Let's let's just this. I'm gonna put
you guys in hold. Are youa team? Greg? Your team?

(06:32):
Tiffany eight seven, seven, nine, nine, five, four or six?
They wanted to call nine nine threethree eight second day out to date
