We call Timmy trying to figure out if there is anything else between him and Rachel that happened that may have caused things to go wrong and he tells us that he wasn’t a fan of Rachel reaching out to his friends to get more info on Timmy after their dinner date. (00:00):
Let's pretend you are going on dateswith somebody, maybe you match online,
maybe you met through a friend, but you go on a couple of dates,
then all of a sudden they disappearand you're left to figure out what
went wrong. We try to findout for you a second date update intern
John in your morning show. Letme bring her back on Rachel good morning.
Hey, Yeah, how are youdoing? Good? Thank you got

(00:23):
your info here and all your stufffor second date updates. So let's walk
through this. You and Timmy ishis name? Yeah? Okay, you
and Timmy met? Where we wemetch some bumble okay, three weeks three
weeks ago, okay, and wehad two dates and relatively short time.
What was date number one? Wewent for drinks basically the daily matched we

(00:47):
went on that night. Okay, whose idea was that it was his?
But I was like, yeah, great, like I just you know,
want to cut to the chase. You know, I can be honest,
I don't mind that tragedy because there'snothing worse than matching than it's like nobody
even talks while getting together. Soit worked out. Okay, So how
were the drinks? Everything was fine? Yeah, I went really well it

(01:10):
was good. And then we wentout for dinner that weekend and then and
that was good too, okay. And whose idea was it for dinner?
It was his again, he waslike, yeah, let's go okay,
So both times he made the plans. Yes, okay. So dinner,
does he pick you up? Doyou meet there? Who pays? M
We met there for drinks and weboth paid, and then dinner he paid

(01:38):
and he picked me out got youAnd so for the drinks, did he
did you like offer to split itor how that? Where did you guys
both buy each other drinks? Howthat work? Um, we've sort of
offered to split it, we bothokay. I guess that's probably fair for
the first time eating. I'm sureokay. But since dinner now here we
are guests two weeks removed. Youhaven't heard anything from Timmy. No,

(02:00):
nothing like like nothing at all, like dead. And he hasn't even like
checked in on the app to dolike any kind of witty banter, no
messages, nothing, and it's likedead, which is odd. Have you
tried reaching out to him or haveyou been waiting for him to reach out
because he kind of said the lastcouple of days I message once and then

(02:22):
that was it. And then becausehe was kind of the guy who was
like making the plans, I didn'twant to overset. But it's like,
weird that he's just gone because itwent really well. Yeah, that's what
I was thinking too. And ifyou mind me asking, did you guys
have a kiss at the end ofthe day or yeah we did? Yeah,
okay, So that to me isodd that he would make those plans

(02:42):
right away, like the drink planand dinner plan and be very you know,
uh guess taking the lead if youwill, and then kind of back
off. And so that's kind ofwhy you want to know what's going on.
Is that fair? It's yeah,it seemed like we had some kind
of momentum, you know, likeI've been on the apps for a while
and it's like, you know,it either goes well at the beginning or

(03:04):
it doesn't, and this one wentwell. Yeah, I do want to
bring out you mentioned that his profileon bumbo is either deleted or he blocked
you. Right, well, heblocked me. Now, I mean I'm
he's he's still there. And Ichecked with a friend of mine who him,
because I was gonna say maybe,I mean if he's eating other people,

(03:27):
that could be that too. Okay, let me do this then,
um, Rachel, we'll call him. We'll get me well with us and
try to figure out where his head'sthat. Okay, okay, yeah,
I just want to know. Iunderstand on one second, trying to get
him on real quick because I wouldwant to know too. Very hot and
cold, Young Timmy. Hello,Hi, calling for Timmy? Please uh

(03:58):
speaking Hey man? It in turnsJohn. I got Sauce and Rose here
as well. Can we talk toyou in the air real quick about something,
nothing bad, just like we needlike thirty seconds your time? Sure,
perfect man? All right, sowe're doing a second date update Timmy.
I have somebody on the line here, Rachel, if you want to
say hello, Hey, how's itgoing? Perfect? And Rachel rache out

(04:18):
to us. She mentioned you guysmatch on Bumble. We had drinks,
we had dinner. But the lastcouple of weeks, like the last two
weeks, you've been missing in action. So we're trying to get your thoughts
and see, at least from yourpoint of view, why you have stopped
pursuing. Okay, um, wow, this is pretty weird. Yeah no,

(04:41):
so I mean you know, wetry to help people out and try
to make people, you know,if there it's gonna work out, try
to figure out what's going on.So I did. I guess it's just
I've never had anyone go to ayou know, a radio station because I
didn't text back. This is anew experience, sure, but now here
we are so uh in your mind, like why have we not reached out

(05:03):
again? I I get if we'rejust gonna if we're if we're doing this
right now? Yeah please? Yeah, I mean she was cool. I
had a good time, Like thedates themselves were pretty awesome. But you
know, here's here's the thing. She she reached out and asked like every

(05:30):
single one of my close friends likehey, you know, just introducing myself
or is there anything you need toyou know, tell tell me about Timmy?
What what's what's the tea with?Wait? Wait wait wait wait wait
wait wait, So Timmy, you'resaying that Rachel reached out like your inner
circle, like through yes, ohokay, not not just my inner circle.

(05:51):
She she reached out to my momand my brother and chapter two dates.
Okay, Rachel, is that true? Well it was, it was
only it was only five people, and I was like, I feel like
we didn't have we didn't have anyfriends in common, and I just felt

(06:11):
like it was good to kind ofbet and I did it in a cute
way. I thought, what wasthe cute way? Just like the messaging
was cute? Okay, did youget responses from these people from the friends
I did? Yeah. She alsotold told them not to tell me,

(06:32):
and they told me immediately like yeah, let me screen d okay, okay,
um, all right, let melet me just how about you guys
in hold are we? Are youteam Rachel or team Timmy? Eight seven
seven nine nine five four six eightone to call nine three eight texts.
It's that second day update Intern Johnin your Morning Show. Second date update

(06:57):
on Intern John and your Morning Show. We talked to a show and Timmy
they had a bumble date couple ofweeks back when for drinks everything was good.
She didn't hear back. I wantto know why, Timmy said.
Apparently Rachel had reached out to hisfriends and family the guy and get like
the scouting report. If you will, Whose side are you on? Eight
seven seven nine four sixty one tocall nine three eight texts? Or putting

(07:18):
you on hold Shelby sauce currently inthe dating scene. What are your thoughts,
um, I think Rachel just didtoo much, Like that's ah,
that's pretty I would be really weirdout if I went on a date and
then the guy did that to me, So definitely team Timmy. I would
not like that at all. Andthis is coming from somebody's sauce who has
done research on people before. Doyou like my friend pre researcher. I'm

(07:40):
not going to start, you know, reaching out to you know, his
inner circle to see what he's like, because I would also say fight for
dudes. I guarantee you his friendshad no idea and his mom for sure,
I had no idea when my momsaid that my brother had been dating
has now fiance Allison for like they'vebeen date for a month month, they've

(08:01):
been together for at least four months. Yeah, he sit into saything.
This is how dude's roll. Roseyour thoughts. I think it's very weird
to reach out, especially to themom and brother Like that's like reaching out
to the friends is a step toofar. Reaching out to the family is
like ten steps too far. Also, if somebody reached out to me,
like if somebody was about to dateEric and they reach out to me.

(08:22):
I'm not responding. Yeah, theysay, don't tell him, but yeah,
the first thing I do is,but you know who's this girl?
For sure? And you would tellhim not to date exactly? Rose,
let me go in Whitebridge, Nina, good Marnin, good morning. Guys.
Whose side are you on with this? Timmy Tommy Tommy jumy Timmy Yeah,

(08:43):
um hum. Girl seems a littleCraig cray um. There's a reason
why she's still on the appell? What made her thing? That? Like
she could reach out to first ofall the friends who they probably don't know
anything about her exactly, and thentaking an extra step to the mother.

(09:07):
Yeah, like you don't even knowthis guy. Yeah, I agree.
I think we're pretty spot on.Nia, Thank you so much for listening.
Have a great days, hey, because I would say kind to that
point too if if it was meand Eric, I would also like,
is this scirl gonna be a problemlater on where she can't get a hold
of him and he's asking me wherehe is? Because I want to I
want to be this man's keeper,Do you know what I'm saying? Let

(09:28):
me get in Fairfax Station. Karen, good morning, Hi, good morning
guys. Hey, you're also youryour thoughts with this. It's definitely uh
tim team to me, it's notokay to reach out to friends, and
it's definitely not okay to reach outto the mom. I would be and
the and the brother I would becompletely creeped out and anything he did the

(09:52):
right thing. Yeah, and likejust not continuing with this because can you
imagine what it's going to turn intolater? Oh yeah, yeah, all
the time I putting the air tagsall that stuff. Yes, Karen,
thank you for listening. I'm agreat day's love. Thank you so much
for listening. I want to addto that as well. I made should
have asked when we were on thephone with her, Um, I would
want to know how she picked thefriends because he had to do some deep

(10:16):
research to figure out like which onesare like the closest ones and then the
fine mom too. Anyway, letme go. Also, she's like taking
the fun out of dating by like, oh, like, yes, I
agree usco I'm Megan, good morning, Hey, good morning. You're kind
of this well yeah, I'm kindof split, okay, because I think
Rachel could go about it in areally different way. And I think,

(10:41):
um, like I do online dating, but I'm very private. I use
a fake name for myself. Idon't want anyone to know like my real
phone number or stuff like that untilI've established something more. Which yeah,
so I think even if it takestime, maybe a better way is to
just kind of fully get some informationand then you know, you can you

(11:05):
can sort of do your own research, but not reach out to people.
It's just a sort of uh strangething. I can understand wanting to be
safe, wanting to know what theperson's like, whatever, but like,
then wait, then wait a littlewhile for sure, get sometation before you
um, before you you know, meet them. Well, can I ask

(11:26):
you this, Megan, so downhere, that's right, when you're you're
on day naps, you use afake name and tell you know somebody when
you say like, hey, myname's isn't tricksy. It's action, Megan.
Are they surprised or what's their reactionor they kind of understand why you're
doing it? Uh, They're They'vebeen pretty understanding. I've really only had
like one person like you know, you're you're like way too cautious or whatever,

(11:48):
and I'm like, well, youknow, I'm a single mom,
like I Yeah, if you can'thandle that, then like that's fine and
you're not for me. Yeah, that's I agree, Megan. Thank you
so much for listen. You havea great day. Thank you too.
Maybe a lot of texts coming in. Somebody says run, somebody says that
she overstepped. Uh, somebody texts. Is the only time I'm reaching out

(12:11):
to Shelby's families when I ask herdad permission to pop the question. I
love that. Thank you, that'sexactly whoever? You are so pretty.
Mister Sauce saint of a man.Yes he is, guess And one of
my favorite stories about Shelby's father, mister Sauce, he gave you a shirt
that what did I say on it? But this is my daughter? A
lot I have to find the picture, but basically said because I'm somebody's daughter.

(12:37):
But it basically said like like,be careful because my dad is gonna
hurt you if you hurt me.Yeah, yeah, yeah, I love
Did you ever wear it? Um? I did in my apartment. Sorry,
of course you do do? Yeah? Absolutely, so you keep bringing
tomorrow? Um yes I can perfectum, yes, if you want to
do. You're welcome. Do youwant to do a second day update?
