Speaker 1 (00:00):
From the city that changes the world. Cheers Rose with
three things you need to know for your Wednesday, Rose,
which you got for us.

Speaker 2 (00:08):
So, Montgomery County has canceled what was meant to be
its second annual Hispanic Heritage Festival in Wheaton, citing concerns
about community safety and increased federal immigration enforcement. So the
decision was made out of caution and concern for the
well being of people who would attend. They are instead
of a public gathering, the county is offering grants of

(00:29):
up to two thousand dollars to Wheaten area elementary schools
to host their own cultural events. Schools must apply and
the funding can be used to bring in performers of
Hispanic heritage who reflects his Spanic culture, and then students
will also receive take home packets with like craft projects
and other information. The county said it will revisit the
idea of holding the festival again next year. So Toys

(00:49):
for Talks, Montgomery County needs a Christmas miracle, so they
are looking for a warehouse. They say that the warehouse
that was donated last year is now rented and they
need space to gather the toys and distribute the toys.
So if another space is not found, Toys for Tots
may be canceled in Moco, which we do not want

(01:10):
to happen. So last year, forty three thousand children in
Montgomery County received gifts thanks to Toys for a Toss.
This year they're expecting about.

Speaker 1 (01:16):
Sixty thousand kids.

Speaker 2 (01:18):
And the ideal warehouse, if you know of anything, is
between eight and ten thousand square feet with utilities and
a bathroom in Gaithersburg. They're hoping to find one and
move in by October first. And like I said, it
would collect to separate, bag and store the toys and
tell they're distributed. So again, if you know of a space,
if you have a space, you can contact Toys for

(01:38):
Tots Montgomery County and that would be a huge help,
especially a huge help for Santa because he needs his helpers.
And now that it is officially fall and it's starting
to get darker a little earlier, which I'm loving, you
might be wondering when do we have to turn our
clocks back. I actually googled this yesterday because I was like,

(01:59):
who it is daylight saving time Sunday, November seconds, so
we still have a little bit of time two am.
Obviously that's when we're gonna fall back, which means you
get an extra hour sleep unless you have kids. Are
pet so got a little bit of time, but it
is coming, so prepare yourself for that.

Speaker 1 (02:13):
I'm Rose.

Speaker 2 (02:13):
Those are the three things you used to do for
to day.

Speaker 1 (02:15):
Thank you, Rose, You're welcome. Very excited as well. Tonight,
the Chewy Forever album is officially out everywhere, which is
it's crazy. It's been an emotional year of this one,
but doing the album is very exciting. I did give
my mom an exclusive first lesson because I was like
my mom last year, She's like, I sent my friends

(02:36):
the album and there was not bad words. And then
I'm like, yeah, this year I made a point not
standing bad. So my mom texting me at twelve forty
am listening to the album, no swearing yet, dot dot
dot excellent Redheart. An hour later, got through the album.
The parts about you were the best, very good, so sweet.
There's the official first review.

Speaker 3 (02:56):
Yeah, she says very good. She's like that means she's
like really happy and likes it.

Speaker 1 (02:59):
Yes, yes, yes, so official first of you. My mom
says the album is very good. So you did chance
to get the album today, internshoncomedy dot com it's six bucks.
That's the lowest you can go on the streaming services.
I don't know why this is what it is, but
benefits Warrior Canine Connections. So the cool thing is is
you're helping veterans get paired with service dogs who are
trained for the veterans. So uh, Internshooncomedy dot Com, Skittle

(03:23):
steals the show. The only album is it's very very good.
So if you get a chance today with me, a
lot to me and certainly to the foundation as well.

more of the show today.

Speaker 1 (05:10):
Typically my commute is about five minutes. Oh man, okay,
so how long is it going to be today?

Speaker 3 (05:17):

Speaker 1 (05:19):
To be there in like an hour and then until Baltimore.

Speaker 2 (05:38):
Yeah, I usually have to go back to the podcast
because typically my commute to work is about five minutes,
so I don't get as much of the morning show.

a woman. That's like because I was like, like, who's
the girl?

Speaker 1 (06:50):
So the best is I just cash im. It's like
a month I got a haircut. Eric hext the group
it's been three weeks, and.

Speaker 3 (06:55):
Then he came in the studio was like, it's been
three weeks. I don't know, I keep saying it in
a month. I was like, why are we checking? Why
fact checking a HAIRCUTA yeah?

Speaker 1 (07:04):
But again, like Eric's littanus test for things, he'll plant
his flag And I've said this for years. You could
spill water on the carpet and that is end of
the world. I could like the studio on fire, It's fine, y, hey, Eric,
here's on fire. What did you do it? It's like, okay,
this is the you sneeze today, Yeah, you sneezed, and

(07:28):
then but the buildings on fire, okay, and okay.

Speaker 3 (07:32):
I just think that we should be like nicer while
we're you know, evacuating, so that people can all have
a chance to evacuate.

Speaker 1 (07:38):
Listen, that's something that you say something like that. I
once had a P I follow me legitimately for about
two years. That guy didn't find anything. Eric is the
best PI for me in the world, because if I
could do he knew I was old relationship.

Speaker 3 (07:51):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (07:52):
The first time he saw me drinking red Bull, he goes,
he's single. You study me, dude, I do. Yeah, there's
a lot of signs, but that was the one. That
was the one. And then if the stash comes in,
we're fighting. We're fighting. Eric doesn't like the mustache. No,
it's horrible on men, looks you've had one before. That
wasn't by choice. That was a drunken night where we

(08:13):
got razors. We had fun, me and some friends back in there.

Speaker 3 (08:15):
Okay, sounds like it sounds like you decided to do
it either.

Speaker 1 (08:19):
Just hanging out, you know, and just like shave our face.
That's a choice adult. You guys never gotten drunk with
your friends and we just shave.

Speaker 3 (08:28):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (08:30):
Actually, it wasn't a choice. Building that literally was a choice.
They didn't hold you down and give you a mustach.
I wanted to see what I looked like with the mustang. Okay,
that makes sense to photoshop. Why can't I do the
same thing? And that was Microsoft paint. Yeah, because Microsoft Chisel. Anyway, everything, celebrities, hair, tainment,

(08:50):
