Speaker 1 (00:00):
Let's do this from the city that changes the world.
Peers Rose with three things you need to know you
got for us.

Speaker 2 (00:08):
So a trial day is now set for lawsuits related
to January's mid air tragedy over the Potomac. A DC
judge Tuesday announced in April start date for the trial
that will consolidate at least two lawsuits filed last month
by the families of crash victims against American Airlines and
the federalment government. That crash, you remember, killed all sixty
seven people in a passenger jet and helicopter, a military

(00:30):
helicopter that collided near Reagan National So the National Zoo's
annual Halloween event for kids is being canceled because of
the government shut down. So Boo with the Zoo had
been slated to take place Friday through Sunday, but obviously
the government is shut down and there's no end in sight,
so the Zoo says it's adult only Halloween party set

(00:52):
for the twenty fourth, and the twenty fifth is also
in jeopardy of being canceled. So if you've bought tickets
and parking passes for Boo with the Zoo, you will
automatically receive refunds, but just wanted to let you know
such a bummer is. Yeah, I'm so sad about that.

Speaker 1 (01:07):
That sucks.

Speaker 2 (01:08):
And we are what two weeks out from Halloween at
this point, and I want to remind you of the
Teal Pumpkin Project. If you haven't heard of this teal
Pumpkin Project and you're like, what is that? Or maybe
you seen the teal pumpkins at like the store and
you're like, what's going on here? So it's part of
a worldwide effort to make trigger treating safer and more inclusive.
So the Teal Pumpkin Project started in twenty thirteen when
a Tennessee mom wanted her son with food allergies to

(01:31):
enjoy the holiday too. Now backed by the nonprofit FAIR,
which is Food Allergy Research and Education, the movement encourages
households to offer non food goodies like stickers, glove sticks, slinkys,
like little toys, there's putty like that you can get
because there's millions of kids that are affected by food allergies.
One of my best friend's daughters is allergic to pretty
much everything and they can't get the candy. So if

(01:53):
they go to house and there's candies. She can't have it,
which is such a bummer for kids. So if you
I'm telling you now because I want you to be
able to go out and get non food options for
those kids. And just do you know what that is
when you're seeing it around? I'm pretty sure there's also
like a website if you are a parent or someone
who has food allergies, where you can see which houses

(02:15):
have the non food options, and if you offer non
food options, you can put your house on that list
so people can find you easier, which is really really
cool that they do that. I'll get that information for
you ymsradio dot com. I'm rouse those are the three
things you need.

Speaker 1 (02:27):
To know for the day. Thank you, Rose, You're welcome.

Speaker 2 (02:29):
No.

Speaker 1 (02:29):
A lot of folks watch the Victoria Secret Fashion Show.
I think it's probably the biggest comeback of all time.
Not surprising. Madison Beer stole the show. We had a
chance to meet a couple of times. She is just
like some people you meet were like, you're too pretty,
Like we met Jared Letto. I'm like, you're too pretty
of a person to like. Are you real? Like you?
Jared Letoe needs to have a million kids. It's a

(02:50):
good looking man. Yeah, like MAXI and beer was so pretty.
We start a jingle ball in Tampa. In Baltimore, I
think yeah, and it's like, oh you're yeah, you're lining
like I shouldn't be breathing the same air as you. Yeah,
and shouts the angel race. Marylynd's down to Kilbeg the goals. Next,
shure to get Eric involved within k B.

Speaker 2 (03:09):
Great. He would though, I think he'd be like a great,
like either like a wrangler or even like the.

Speaker 1 (03:14):
Voice of walking. Oh yeah, yeah hisself. He would be walking.
He'd be like, you know, crawling once again, a ferry
costume on. That's just his legs, story about it.

Speaker 2 (03:25):
That's the fair.

Speaker 1 (03:25):
Yeah, it's Interne Johnny Mary Show.

Speaker 2 (03:27):
