Speaker 1 (00:00):
From the City that Changes the World, Peers Rose with
three things you need to know for Tuesday.

Speaker 2 (00:07):
Rose.

Speaker 1 (00:08):
So, according to Virginia Governor Glenn Youngkin, more than eight
hundred and fifty thousand people across Virginia will be impacted
if SNAP benefits were to end on November first, due
to the ongoing federal government shutdown, and because of that,
young Kin has declared a state of emergency for the commonwealth.
So he said it is unacceptable for benefits like SNAP
to run out, So he said the state will pick

(00:28):
up the bill for meal assistance. He said, quote, we
have the financial resources to do it for a while,
but not forever.

Speaker 2 (00:35):
So awesome. That's really cool that he's doing that.

Speaker 1 (00:38):
So police say that they have identified the suspect involved
in a scary incident at an Alexandria home earlier this month.
You guys remember me telling you about the three mass
people that were like seeing on the video camera super
creepy the doorbell camera. This from like the beginning of October.
It just three mass people making threats and apparently trying
to break into a home. Well, Alexandria Police chief and

(00:59):
olts that the suspects were actually related to the family
that reported the threats and that the entire interaction was
a prank. The hot like, oh, a total of seven
people were involved in the prank, including three adults, and
they said that there will be no charges, but added
that the situation could have had deadly consequence. Yeah, so

(01:21):
just like, beware, maybe take your mask off at the end.

Speaker 2 (01:24):
Don't be that creepy if.

Speaker 1 (01:26):
It's a prank.

Speaker 2 (01:26):
I don't know. That just seems crazy to me.

Speaker 1 (01:28):
And did anyone fail the earthquake yesterday? It was only
in Marylyn, So Howard County confirmed that there was a
two point five magnitude earthquake in the Columbia Savage area yesterday.
According to the US Geological Survey, the earthquake happened just
after five fifteen pm, and it was felt in various
parts across the DMB an Arundel, Baltimore, Montgomery counties. But
I also said Arlington, Waldorf, Owings Mills, Baltimore City, DC,

(01:52):
so kind everywhere all these tremors were. So far, Howard
County has not received reports of damage or injuries, but
officials continue to survey for US any potential issues. Rose
those are the three things you need.

Speaker 2 (02:03):
To know today. Thank you, Rose. You're welcome. Let me
go in Barryville, VA. Eddie, good morning, Hey, good morning John.
How are you good man? What were doing for a tuesday?

Speaker 1 (02:13):
Oh man, I'm on my way to work.

Speaker 2 (02:15):
I'm heading to the office in uh in Ashbourne, Virginia.
So how long do you drive from Barryville to Asheville
or to Ashbourn?

Speaker 1 (02:21):
Sorry, so, so it's it's about forty five minutes. It's
not too bad. I work for the government, so we're
we're still we're still drefurlough but.

Speaker 2 (02:31):
Uh you know, we're essential, so we got to go
in uh so every day to the office. Got you, dude,
I appreciate Eddie man. I get you in my man
shirt and to coffee. For listening, definitely, I appreciate that.
I'm a I'm a long term listener for years, so
I've been listening to you guys for even from when
I was fishing in Columbia. So you guys are you
guys are the best? Oh, Eddie Man, thank you so much.

(02:51):
On one second, we get you in for that's so awesome.

Speaker 3 (02:53):
Dan.

Speaker 2 (02:53):
We appreciate you listening. I'm excited because tonight we'll go Lynnville,
Manor from Marlborough. We're going eleven PM. We're staying until
two and then coming in basically right to the station
tomorrow do the show. Tomorrow's show will be a disaster.

Speaker 3 (03:12):
We're not gonna be tired at all.

Speaker 2 (03:14):
Yeah, you're going back. Are they haunted or tired? So
the good thing about Linville Manor and again it is
ranked as one of the most haunted locations in the
United States. Yeah, which is crazy. So according to them,
we're gonna have win who is the owner, around eight o'clock,
but at one eleven am that is like their most
active time. So they say spirits and known to gather

(03:34):
in the lounge and hang out. Okay, pretty exciting, unexplained crash.
It's gonna be hurt in the halls after this time. Okay,
Shadow the Cat gonna be there. I'm gonna do that. Yeah.
So apparently he was dates back to Revolutionary War. So
there's actually a gravesite dedicated to Shadow of the Cat,

(03:56):
a nineteen year old cat to who this day has
been seen around the premises.

Speaker 3 (04:00):
Chilling.

Speaker 2 (04:00):
I think the cat's going for Eric. I really do cats.
He is a cat guy. Uh, there's the lurker he's
been seeing in the doorway of the ballroom, top of
the stairs, the bedrooms. He tends to hover and wash
from a distance.

Speaker 3 (04:14):
I hate that.

Speaker 2 (04:15):
Then there's the ballroom late night. You hear men arguing
in the ballroom. Okayus in the chair moves look out
the double doors I talked about on the TV show
to mentioned the old guy would sit in the chair,
look out something. Yeah, the conservatory, they can sense a
male presence. There many objects in the film, the photograph
in this room. Sometimes there's unexplained pressure felt in this room. Okay,
there's the Lynnville room, guest supporting and junk presence in

(04:38):
this room. We can't feeling relieved at total peace. Now,
I don't plan on laying any of the beds. I'm
gonna be honest with you. I don't want to do that.
A done ghost unting before. I've said in the show,
I believe what you want. I left being like that
was something there. You see what I'm saying. So I
think as long as we go in positive, Yeah, we're
not mocking any ghosts. I say, we're not disrespectful. No,

(04:59):
So I think you being the Maryland girl sauce, they
probably want to talk to you for sure. I think
that's fair. How are you How are you feeling about
going tonight?

Speaker 3 (05:07):
I feel good. I don't know, I don't I don't
really have any thoughts about it. Maybe I'm just like
not thinking about it at all.

Speaker 2 (05:13):
You should thank you. Questions do you want to ask
the ghosts?

Speaker 3 (05:16):
No?

Speaker 2 (05:17):
Okay, what do you hope happens?

Speaker 3 (05:19):
Like?

Speaker 2 (05:19):
What what evidence do you hope we capture today? Maybe
some sounds or something like that.

Speaker 3 (05:23):
But I'm like okay with it because everything I write
about it is the ghosts are just chill ghosts, just like, hey,
I'm here and they're not mean or doing anything, you know,
to harm anybody. Yeah, so I think I'm just like, hey,
this is gonna be a cool experience. And wait, what
was your question? What am I gonna ask?

Speaker 2 (05:38):
What evidence are you hoping to get? Yeah?

Speaker 3 (05:40):
What evidence? Yeah, something moves, something feels cold.

Speaker 2 (05:43):
So I have my machine the ghost can talk into.
If they say, my man, then we'll know for sure.

Speaker 3 (05:47):
It's oh yeah, they'll they're gonna know automatically by seeing you.
They're like, that is what people say.

Speaker 2 (05:51):
We got to ask the ghost of Maryland things like okay,
like what do you call a cran?

Speaker 3 (05:55):
Hey what they call it chestbeake Bay back then the
bats of like.

Speaker 2 (06:01):
You know, you get one question with a ghost, and
that's what we're gonna ask is about the did.

Speaker 3 (06:06):
You ever realize like wait, well, little Marrit guess is
not close to well.

Speaker 2 (06:11):
So we're gonna go live on Instagram tonight around like eleven,
and then the goal is to have some stuff to
play tomorrow on the show. But again, like I'm gonna
leave here, try to go the gym, get swallowed puy
ghosts and the I'm gonna try to take a nap
from basically noon to like seven hopefully and then power
through tomorrow. Yeah, it's gonna be interesting.

Speaker 3 (06:28):
I'm just gonna try to scream like I don't want
to sound like a little bee if you will.

Speaker 2 (06:33):
Well, I have pulled up the ghosts photos from my
last time hunted, and like the photos I got are
like scary scary stuff like a golden figures shut up
in this room, this bace room you're in. So we'll
do photos, we'll do video, we'll do audio recording. Tomorrow,
we'll have ghosts all well, if we bring.

Speaker 3 (06:50):
One to ghost him, uh, if it wants to leave.

Speaker 2 (06:54):
Probably does so. Yeah, Okay, are you cool with it
following you home?

Speaker 3 (06:58):
No.

Speaker 2 (06:58):
That's the one thing that we see is you have
to say like you don't have permission to follow me? Yeah,
because otherwise so well.

Speaker 3 (07:03):
Also, I'm making John drive me in case I do
get too scared to drive back, so it will just
be stuck in your car.

Speaker 2 (07:10):
Don't like that. Don't like that. Oh yeah, I have
a room. It's many things in the backseat. Yeah. So
tonight we go. Ghost Houndings intern Johnny Morn.

Speaker 1 (07:18):
