Melissa hit Jamaica and Cuba this week and it's still
tearing up the Caribbean. It's one of the most powerful
storms to ever hit the Atlantic Basin. Wins at their
height were one hundred and eighty five miles per hour.

So Jamaica hopes to reopen its airports today to bring
an emergency supplies. From the reports that I'm reading, the
hurricane has already killed thirty people. That's what's being reported. Obviously,
there are millions of people without power. There's a lot
of destruction. And Virginia Task Force One, the search and
rescue team based in Fairfax County, is headed to Jamaica.
They were activated yesterday. They haven't indicated when they would

believing yet, but it's a thirty four thirty four person
rapid assessment team and for rescue doc that will help
with the recovery. So the Annual Welfare of Alexandria is
waving adoption fees for all of its small mammals, so
it is the too Cute to Spook event, So small
mammals like rabbits, guinea pigs, stuff like that, they will
have their adoption fees waved through November.
