Speaker 3 (00:08):
So, experts are saying you should not wash your turkey
before Thanksgiving, So I guess a lot of people still
do this. It's kind of like a tradition or there
are many reasons, but the CDC is warning that washing
raw poultry basically spreads germs all over your kitchen, making
cross contamination much more likely.

Speaker 1 (00:26):
You don't want to wake.

Speaker 3 (00:27):
Up on Black Friday with a poison foods. That would
definitely be a buzzkill. So instead, the safest move is
to skip the sink, wash your hands, and be sure
to use proper cooking techniques like making sure your bird
hits one hundred and sixty five decrees fahrenheit and all
the right spots. Just wanted to put that.

Speaker 1 (00:42):
Out there, makes sense because I don't want you to
get sick.

Speaker 3 (00:45):
DC Mayor Muriel Bowser announced yesterday that she will not
run for a fourth term. Bowser said it was the
honor of her life to be elected mayor, adding that
she feels she's laid the groundwork that others can build upon.
She think the city residents for their support and said
that she would spend the next twelve months quote running
through the tape to keep winning for DC. Excuse Me
and toys r US is making a big holiday comeback

(01:06):
with more than thirty new stores and pop up shots
o me opening across the country, which is giving families
the chance to rediscover the joy of in person toy hunting. Now,
I don't know if I would say in person toy
hunting brings me joy, but definitely nostalgic, sure the idea
of it. So there's gonna be interactive play zones, Jeffrey
the Giraffe meeting roots, which is very cool. Maybe you'll

(01:26):
see our very own mister Eric V.

Speaker 1 (01:29):
Stope.

Speaker 3 (01:31):
A Toys RS Holiday shop has opened at the Mall
in Columbia on the lower level near Macy's. Now, this
is a pop up store, it's not a year round location.
There will be more hot like permanent locations, and I've
seen there's like smaller permanent locations in some Macy's. So
just check the locator to see what's closest to you.
But definitely fun like for the kids to go see.
You could always take them and get a really good

(01:52):
idea of what your kids.

Speaker 1 (01:53):
Want for the holidays. That's it, absolutely, or just go
go players health.

Speaker 4 (01:56):
If you want.

Speaker 3 (01:56):

Speaker 1 (01:58):

Speaker 2 (02:12):
I'm going from Timonium to Annapolis. Okay, I'm a laver
and delivering our thank you so much.

Speaker 5 (02:18):
Best case scenario, how long is the commute? And worst
case scenario? How long is the commute?

Speaker 2 (02:24):
It depends on the time of day. I'm going so
right now it's like forty five minutes, but if I
do a night shift, it could be like a little
over an hour.

Speaker 5 (02:34):
Oh don't like that, Caitlyn. I get you a coffee
and my man sure for being up this early?

Speaker 2 (02:38):
Yeah, that would be amazing. Thank you.

Speaker 1 (02:41):
Thank you.

Speaker 5 (02:41):
On one second, all your information. Appreciate you at listening
real quick too. They put out, if you're hosting a
party for the holidays, how to make your living room
like the make or break point of the gathering, which
is true. If your living room isn't set up right,
then like where are we all gonna vibe.

Speaker 4 (02:56):
Because a lot of people don't want to sit down.
If it's set up so boxy this it's not very opening.

Speaker 1 (03:00):
They sorry with that point.

Speaker 5 (03:01):
They say social seating, set up arranger, sofa shares an
X and so guests can naturally face each other without
sitting a shouting.

Speaker 1 (03:07):
Across the room.

Speaker 5 (03:08):
Oh yeah, absolutely, yeah, they say clothes the clusters beat
one senior arrangement any day, helping the energy move without crowding.
I don't think that's fair, which leads to clearly runway.
Nobody wants a side step a bulky coffee table just
to reach the snacks. Clear walking lane, subguests mingle effortlessly
prevent vile necks.

Speaker 4 (03:23):
Yeah, unless you have the snacks on it. Because some
coffee tables are just too big for where they are anyway,
so you're like getting around people.

Speaker 5 (03:30):
That it's fair if the table's not being used as
a table, Yeah, move it out of the way. Yeah,
I mean the bar basics. So a place in the
bar opposite the room's entrance keeps traffic flowing inside is
set of.

Speaker 1 (03:39):
Lingering at the entrance. Oh that makes sense, okay, They.

Speaker 5 (03:42):
Say the layout strategy naturally spreads guests throughout the space
as they grab a drink and mire your place also
has a fun ton moment. They can walk, encouraging guests
to experience the space and to all that kind of stuff.

Speaker 2 (03:51):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (03:51):
Sure, Hi the.

Speaker 5 (03:53):
Tech So they say music's essential for vibes, but giant
speakers shouldn't dominate your four plan keep them this street
and so the sound is present, not overpowering the conversation.

Speaker 2 (04:02):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (04:03):
I was thinking you were saying, like hide the remote
so people don't come in and start messing with the music.

Speaker 5 (04:07):
I mean, also fair or like a TV or like
moving stuff around. I think that's that's definitely a fair
They say, also having a be the moment, a floral arrangement,
to mac lighting, or even over the top dessert display.

Speaker 4 (04:21):
I just like when the drinks are easily accessible. That's
the only thing that I will say. Like the food, Yes,
usually the food is easily accessible, but I've been to
so many parties where it's such a pain to get
to the drink area and then it's just kind of
like you're trying to stiphon through people and it's like
where's that?

Speaker 1 (04:37):
Where is that?

Speaker 5 (04:37):
I would also add to that like you need to
have extra trash cans absolutely everywhere. Yes, like double what
you think you need, Just have those and then be
ready to go. They also say mobile munchies like parble
snacks like Mason Jars, that type of thing so they
can grab seats and then grab something and go. Yeah,
and if you don't have a set of barg A
Barkart something like that, I think that's nice.

Speaker 1 (04:58):
Also have things like chic.

Speaker 4 (05:00):
Maybe have like the red Solo cops with the pen
next to it the marker.

Speaker 1 (05:04):
Those are clutch shoe. It's just easier that way. Rememer
bec Dagas scratched name on him too. That was like
the first thing.

Speaker 5 (05:09):
Oh no, man, gosh, we have nothing fun anymore. Yeah, yeah,
I mean intern Johnny Morning Show Hundricks.

Speaker 2 (05:14):
