So, President Trump says his administration has a plan to
rebuild Dulles International Airport. The President had talked about the
airport during a cabinet meeting yesterday, saying it was incorrectly designed.

But it had a good building.

Speaker 2 (00:20):
Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy went on to announce that his
department will soon be accepting bids to redesign.

Speaker 1 (00:26):

I just don't understand why we got to take those
things when we take like a train to get to

Agreed, So the Dacy Council is taking emergency action to
try to preserve some of the city's outdoors, dining spaces,
the streeteries. So the council unanimously has a measure which
lowers the occupancy fee for streeteries to fifteen dollars per
square foot. It was previously twenty dollars per square foot,
so let's send a little bit of the savings could
add up to be a lot. It allows more flexibility

in the design of those outdoor dining spaces. So the
measure was passed one day after the d DOT implemented
new rules imposing higher fees and more restrictions on the
outdoor structures, and that emergency legislation will be in place
for ninety.
