Speaker 1 (00:00):
From the city that changes the world. Peers rose with
three things you need to know Free Tuesday, Rose, what
you got for us?

Speaker 2 (00:08):
So Jessa heads up. In Virginia, Culpepper County Public schools
are on to our delay and Spotsylvania County Public schools
are closed today. Okay, let me get back to this.
So this came out yesterday morning, but I do want
to tell you DC Police Chief Pamila Smith is stepping
down after serving in the role for more than two years.
Smith's release the statement saying serving as chief has been
the greatest honor of her career, while adding that the

(00:30):
role was both challenging and rewarding. Mayor Bowser also released
the statement, saying Smith dramatically drove down violent crime and
restored a sense of safety and accountability during her tenure. Now,
neither statement indicated exactly why Smith will be leaving or
who might be replacing her. So this is really cool.
Some Wizards players are trying to lift the holiday spirit.
We talked about what they did yesterday to help families

(00:52):
with rent. They went to children's hospitals to lift the
spirit of children battling cancer and other owners. It so
about a dozen Washington Wizard players went to MedStar Georgetown
University Hospital to visit children who won't be going home
for Christmas, and the players took part in several activities.
They passed out autograph basketballs and Wizards hats and blankets,

(01:13):
which is very cool. The players also brought stuff for
the caregivers. They passed out Amazon gift cards to nurses
as they left the hospital, which is very very cool.
And the city of Anapolis is going to be holding
the second of three Nights of Midnight Madness this week.
So on Thursday, December eleventh, local shops, boutiques, and galleries
are going to stay open late, offering special deals, holiday treats,
experiences that won't be found during regular business hours. So

(01:36):
the streets of Annapolis are decorated for the holidays. It's
going to be really cute. But the last Night of
Midnight Madness will take place on December eighteenth. If you
want to do some Christmas shopping, I'm Rose. Those are
the three things you need to know for the day.
Thank you, Rose, You're welcome.

Speaker 1 (01:49):
Let's go manassas nickod morning. What are we doing for Tuesday? Sir?
Headed into work? And what what we do for our work.
But let me ask him. Oh hell yeah, dude, age fact, Like,
how long did it take you go through schooling for that?
I've been in about ten years now. Okay, what's the

(02:09):
crazy do you do? An industrial or a commercial? About
the industrial and commercials? Okay, what's the craziest thing you've
seen on a job site that nobody warned you about?

Speaker 2 (02:19):
Uh? The people?

Speaker 1 (02:22):
Great answer? Okay, all right, Nick, thank you so much
for listening. Man, get you a coffee and then my
man shirt.

I'm glad to be do not do that? Then you
can find like animals and things, because we've had people
