Another snow day for the DMV and some governmental delays this morning. Metro on sever weather metro schedule. The debris from the Potomac has been removed and the two other runways are back open. The stolen statue in Navy Yard.

So obviously it's another snow day. A majority of schools
are closed, but there are some delays. The federal government
is on a two hour delay due to snow. You

on a severe weather schedule, reducing the number of bus
routes available to writers, so make sure you're checking the
routes before your morning commute. And road conditions not going

to be great today obviously, So I saw a report
last night that said there were more than eight hundred
crashes reported across the DMV. I'm sure that number has
gone up since then. But the National Weather Service said
a winter storm morning would stay in effect until seven am.
Roads will remain slushy with ice and slippery spots until
about nine AM. That's when the sun can start warming

things up. But still it's going to be not great.
Even after that. It's going to be just freezing drizzle,
fleet pellet snowflakes just be very carefu full if you
need to drive and you have to be on the roads.
So the US Army Corps of Engineers says it has
completed debris recovery operations on the Potomac River. An officials
announced yesterday that the section of the Potomac affected by

the midair collision is now fully restored. That operation was
completed six days ahead of schedule. The FAA also announced
yesterday that two runways at Reagan that were closed following
the crash have now reopened and the maximum number of
incoming flights has been increased to twenty eight per hour.
That's what it was least the previously they had reduced

it to twenty six. And DC Police day that the
statue of a Scottish terrier named the Scottie was stolen
from a dog park in southeast near Navy Yard between
midnight and early afternoon on January twenty fourth. This statue
weighs about five hundred pounds.

up to one thousand dollars to anyone with information that
can lead to an arrest for stealings the Scottie. So yeah,
