Capitol Hill for hearing and they confirmed that a hotline
between air traffic controllers at Reagan National and the Pentagon.

hotline restored before it allows Army helicopter flights to resume
near the airport, which I mean.

So the twenty twenty five NFL schedule was released on Wednesday,
the Commander's game schedule. For the first time in franchise history,
the Commanders have eight standalone games. So there's a Thursday
Night Football, two Sunday Night Football, two Monday Night Football,
is a Saturday game, a game in Spain which sounds awesome,

and a game on Christmas against the Cowboys. They haven't
had more than four standalone games since the early nineties,
so this is huge. And then the Ravens they have
four primetime games compared to five last season. But they're
also going to be playing the Bengals on Thanksgiving, which will.

So DC Parks and Recreation Department is offering residents ways
to keep busy this summer. So registration for summer aquatics
program around the city opened yesterday. It's officially opened. You
can sign up for that and those are the three

So I had a lovely trip with the professor this
past week. So when she passed away on New Year's
I was like, I needed something my mind off that
needs some look forward to. So I was like, I
want to go see Manchester United play football as they
call it. And I also wanted to go to Lake
Como in Italy, see where they filmed Star Wars.
Speaker 2 (01:55):
Like that was my idea. Mentioned to my dad. He
goes I'll come.
Speaker 4 (01:59):
I was like, are you sure and he's like yeah,
I'm like okay, but you know, like going to Italy,
this is see where they filmed Star Wars. He's like,
sounds great. So my dad and I went. We had
a lot of fun. So we flew out last Wednesday
to London. Went to the radio station in England on
Friday and it was funny because they were like, so
your first day vacation you go to radio station.

I go, yes, yes, but it was sick.

Yeah, it was cool.

Shouts to the capital is like the the station in
England and the Capitol breakfast show.

Was very exciting.

Sure, too much nicer. What do you mean our show's

Yeah, it's been longer. Yeah, just kind of it looks pretty.

It was fun because you go in different radio station,
you go, is there stuff different in ours?

and they have a view of like their rooftop has
a view of downtown London so you can see Big
Ben Bucking Palace.

It was fantastic. So that was cool.

We did a a Churchill tour of like Winston Churchill's
bunker during World War Two. That was very exciting, and
then on the Friday we went to see a fam
of the opera. I had like stumbled across down TikTok
that like you gotta see it. If you're in London,
go see it. Because they shut down the Broadway play,
which was there for like thirty something years.

It's kind of crazy.
Speaker 4 (03:18):
So my dad kind of got VIP treatment wherever we went.
Speaker 2 (03:23):
So my dad he should no doubt.
Speaker 4 (03:25):
I mean, first of all, I pay for the man's
flights he got VIP treatment, but he So my dad
has a cane Vietnam veteran, and so at the fam
of the opera, we like go to walk in first
and they say.

Is your ticket's not scanning? I go, son of a.
Speaker 4 (03:39):
But then like they're so friendly, like hey, you know,
just so you know, to get to your seat, it's
gonna be like twenty five steps up and thirty steps
down old building. But there's a sideway we can bring
you in so your dad can go with no steps.
We had this security lady who they must have thought
we were somebody big because she would stop people from
moving and say hold on one second and then wave

my day add in. So it looked like my dad
was like a dignitary, to the point where during intermission
took up to go to the bathroom.

She stopped every single row.
Speaker 4 (04:07):
This is a giant theater, His Majesty's theater stopped the
entire like ten roasts moving until my dad got through.
So they for sure thought we were.
Speaker 1 (04:16):
I think they're just more proper and nice, no doubt.

I think that it's just you know, I'm saying, like
everybody around was like they must be somebody important because
they're they're holding the line. Went to see Manchester United
play football as they call it in Manchester. That was
very exciting, and then went to went to Milan to
see like Como that's where Star Wars A Stack of
the Clones is where Anakin Skywalker gets married.

It was pretty sick.

It looked fun.

It looked like it was out of a movie. Obviously,
I know.

and it said like me and my dad, it goes

And then so it's this, it's like Villa on Lake Comos,
this giant mansion. The guy who owned it last his
dad started the first like grocery store chain in Italy.

So stupid money. I was like, how much is it
for a wedding here?

Just to rent the space for I think it's like
fifty guests for two hours, one hundred thousand dollars. Oh
my god, So I'm saving now cool, almost see how
it goes. And then yes, they was a twenty four
hour day, so we flew from Milan to JFK. Was
supposed to be a one hour lyover and a six
hour lyover. I was very exciting. My dad's flight to

Nashville got delayed as well. He was supposed to take
off at nine thirty. We landed at nine ten Oha
and the person was supposed to have his wheelchair for
him didn't have it.

I texted my mom. I'm like, hey, this is not
gonna work.

What do you do when that happens, though? Do you
complain to the airline and wait around?

Well, because it's like it's the airport employees. It's like
at the airport, it's not like the airline's supposed to
set up, but it's not their employees that push. It's
like the airport has their own service employees that do it.

So we were.

Trying to make a rush. We missed it. So my
dad stayed over last night.

So when we got home, I was like, hey, I'm
going to bed all these skittles out with you. I
went to go let skittles out. This morning my dad
locked him in his room with him.

It's like I have been sleeping with all these strangers
the last week.

because the stadium is like nineteen oh five, not the
easiest to move around, so like and again, their staff
is fantastic as far as like finding places easier for
my dad to get to. Yeah, because it is like
it's built in nineteen four or whatever. It's it's a
piece of it's like RFK. The owners put no money

into it. It's a dump up a stadium, like tearing
it down or something. Allegedly it's a long story where
the new owners have racked up nearly a billion dollars
in debt, which is god.
