Speaker 1 (00:00):
From the city that changes the world, peers Rose with three.

Speaker 2 (00:05):
Things you need to know are your Thursday Rose, what
you got for us?

Speaker 3 (00:08):
So, Hurricane Aaron will not be making land fawd staying
out in the Atlantic, but parts of Maryland are expected
to feel the impact of the storm. There is a
wind advisory in effect for the Maryland coastline, where highwaves,
minor coastal flooding, beach erosion, and dangerous recurrents are expected.
The region could feel gusts of wind up to thirty
five miles per hour, especially along the beaches and around

(00:29):
the Chesapeake Bay and Ocean City beaches are closed to swimmers.
The Maryland Department of Energy Management is reminding the public
to follow the restriction to become because recurrents can be deadly,
especially during a hurricane. So, yeah, I just wanted to
let you know about that. DC will be putting another
special youth curfew zone in place beginning tonight. The special

(00:51):
zone along the U Street corridor in northwest e Seed
begins at eight pm. Groups of more than eight miners
are banned from gathering inside the curfew zone, with some exceptions,
but that curfew zone will be in place through Sunday,
and with the start of the new school year, Maryland
officials are reminding drivers to stop for school buses.

Speaker 2 (01:12):
It is the law.

Speaker 3 (01:13):
We talked about this a lot last school year because
there were a lot of people violating that law. Unfortunately,
a lot of people still do ignore it now. Last
school year, Maryland issued twenty thousand automatic citation for drivers.

Speaker 2 (01:25):
Who illegally passed school buses.

Speaker 3 (01:28):
Only nine out of Maryland's twenty four school districts have
automatic enforcement cameras on their buses, so that number is probably.

Speaker 2 (01:34):
A lot higher. Yeah.

Speaker 3 (01:35):
Yeah, there are fines, so if you're caught by a camera,
you receive a two hundred and fifty dollars fine. Drivers
pulled over by police face finds up to five hundred
and seventy dollars plus three points on their license. Honestly,
make the camera finds the same. In my opinion, because
it's so dangerous you're passing a school bus, because there's
little kids like just please just say don't. The only

(01:57):
exception to passing a school buy us is when the
driver is separated from the bus by a physical barrier
such as grass, guardrails or a concrete median.

Speaker 2 (02:08):
Otherwise, please stop.

Speaker 3 (02:09):
I'm rosos are the three things you know for to day?

Speaker 2 (02:11):
Thank you? Ros You're welcomes go in the district. Nikki,
good morning, Automatic, good morning. What are you doing for
your Thursday? Girl? You're ready for Okay? Where do we? Uh?
How far is the drive for work?

Speaker 1 (02:26):
Unfortunately it's only like ten to fifteen minutes.

Speaker 2 (02:29):
That's not bad. What time does the work start?

Speaker 1 (02:31):
At eight?

Speaker 3 (02:34):
I'm actually yeah, coming from long distance ago into DC.

Speaker 2 (02:39):
Then get ready for work? So all right girl? Wait?
Why a long distance? Were we summer last night? We
shouldn't have been a summer party?

Speaker 1 (02:46):
I love it, NICKI.

Speaker 2 (02:48):
How are y'all doing today? Nicky? Let me ask you this?
Was it worth it? My god? Of course? Okay, Well, Nikki, listen,
we appreciate you and get you my man shirt in
a coffee. Okay, thank you? One second, we don't judge.

Speaker 1 (03:04):
I was gonna be like scandalous. I can't remember whether
that's from.

Speaker 2 (03:07):
Though, I don't know either. That's gonna bother me out.

Speaker 1 (03:09):
Okay, I appreciate you.

Speaker 2 (03:12):
Listening to the before seven o'clock clubs say it's many
fun too. We're going to the NATS game. I think
tomorrow's show is probably gonna be disaster because I got
like maybe three hours last night. Last night show was busy,
so I did the show? Killed it? Obviously? Of course
I went homeless, skittles out, went to the gym. Did
TV killed it? I guess I did. Accidentally did a
double glizzy uh video la. No, but like the entire

(03:35):
news station has heard about it, and it was perhaps
several times like hey, we've all seen the video and
I was like.

Speaker 3 (03:40):
Wow, because it's ridiculous. I mean, you were probably the
first person in the history of the station to do
the double fisting Glizzy to your face motion.

Speaker 2 (03:53):
There are a lot of times where you can't forget
where you are, and you like, we're in like some
big cities.

Speaker 1 (03:58):
No, not just that, I think I forget that people
are courting you.

Speaker 3 (04:02):
Yes, but also how can you forget when there are
bright lights and big cameras outside?

Speaker 1 (04:07):
So it's probably wasn't that right?

Speaker 2 (04:09):
Well? I never really know where to look though, either
because there's a bunch of cameras in the studio and
then you just never really know which one's on you,
so I'm always behind.

Speaker 1 (04:15):
And that's anyway, I just like keep like I would
just keep doing like a rotator, like i'd be like
a rotating fan.

Speaker 2 (04:20):
Yeah that it looks like I'm trying not to get
chanted by the damn cameras. But then went to hide
for wine Wednesday, a lot of fun.

Speaker 1 (04:27):
Oh You're so lucky. You was so fun.

Speaker 2 (04:29):
I didn't get home until I probably close to nine
thirty or ten.

Speaker 1 (04:32):
I know because I I think, did I call you?

Speaker 2 (04:34):
Well? I yes, you called me, and I said, text
me when you like, okay, make I said, first while
I sat my left, like text when you get home?

Speaker 1 (04:40):
But I straight up walked home, stopped at a bar,
walked home again, and you still were driving.

Speaker 2 (04:47):
But then our phone call ended at hold on, uh
did you because I want to make sure I could
time eighth so eight thirty nine. Yeah, And then I
texted you because you didn't text me. I'm like, hey,
are you alive?

Speaker 1 (04:59):
I was showering, Yeah, yeah.

Speaker 2 (05:03):
You're like I'm just getting in. I'm like, well, text
you and to get your place. I'm a twenty minutes later,
I'm like you have one job? Like what do you mean?

Speaker 1 (05:08):
Yeah? Because I got home, I was like, oh, let
me shower really quick.

Speaker 2 (05:12):
I'm sorry. I care shelby.

Speaker 1 (05:13):
Yeah, but you already knew those home.

Speaker 2 (05:16):
You're outside the building, okay.

Speaker 1 (05:18):
But walking home safely, clearly.

Speaker 2 (05:21):
But I'm excited today that we're doing the nas game,
which is at four, which is that's gonna be fun. Sure, yeah,
and we're in a special or a different cliff, but
that's a special area. So if you're going the nascame,
make sure to say hello. It's gonna be a lot
of fun. Whether not great, I don't think, but still
be guzzies. We're gonna the nine nine nine challenge. We are,
we are.

Speaker 1 (05:36):
I'm gonna throw up intern John
