Speaker 1 (00:00):
I'll ask you this from the city that changes the world,
peers Rose with three things you need.

Speaker 2 (00:06):
To know for your Wednesday.

Speaker 3 (00:07):
Rose.

Speaker 2 (00:08):
What you got for us?

Speaker 1 (00:08):
Well, the FDA is warning about possible radioactive shrimp that
was sold at Walmart. So let me start this by
saying the warning did not include the DMV, but obviously
this is everywhere. It did include West Virginia and Pennsylvania,
So if you traveled at all in those states and
bought the shrimp, it is certain frozen raw shrimp that's
sold under the Walmart Great Value brand. I personally, if

(00:31):
I had that in my freezer, even if it wasn't
sold in the state, I would still toss it. But
the inspections by US Customs revealed the presence of cessium
one thirty seven. It's a radioactive isotope in containers from
the shrimp's Indonesian supplier, So frozen shrimp from the distributors
tested positive. The FDA says no shrimp that tested positive
has entered the US food chain, so that's good news,

(00:54):
but they're still advising to throw away products that match
this and prohibit further imports from that supplier.

Speaker 2 (01:01):
So just wanted to let you know that just in
case you have that trip in your freezer.

Speaker 1 (01:06):
So, the US Martial Service is offering award for any
tips that lead to arrests in DC.

Speaker 2 (01:11):
They made a social media post. It didn't really say much,
It just said.

Speaker 1 (01:16):
That five hundred dollars reward was being offered during this
ongoing public safety surge in the district. They provided a
QR code for those who wanted to make tips, and
they also can be made on the US Marshall's website. So,
the US Marshall Service is a federal law enforcement agency
within the Department of Justice, and they are part of
the federal law enforcement agencies that have to been deployed

(01:38):
in Washington, d C.

Speaker 2 (01:39):
Following President Trump's takeover of DC.

Speaker 1 (01:42):
Police, and the Washington Commanders are helping DC student athletes
learn some important life saving techniques. So the Commanders have
teamed up with the nonprofit organization Simon's Heart to donate
twelve automated external defibrillator later. So those are the AEDs
to the d C public schools, which is very cool
that they're doing that. The team also sponsored an event

(02:03):
yesterday where football players and cheerleaders learned about the devices
and they were taught CPR.

Speaker 2 (02:08):
That's awesome, very cool that they're doing that, A spokesperson
for the commander said.

Speaker 1 (02:12):
Cardiac arrest is a growing problem in athletics, and the
team hopes that training and the.

Speaker 2 (02:16):
Ads will help save lives in the future. So love
that they're doing that. I'm Rose. Those are the three
things you need.

Speaker 4 (02:21):
To know for the day. Thank you, Rose, You're welcome.
I started a new show yesterday. Sausa talked about the
show in Hulu Are You My First? Which is the
Virgin dating Show where it's like any other dating show,
but it's a bunch of people say they're virgins on
island doing their thing. Let me say your boys hook.
So far, I'm only one episode in.

Speaker 2 (02:40):
That's wow.

Speaker 4 (02:41):
It's Colton Underwood and Caitlin Bristow are the hosts Bachelor
and Bacherette Fame. And the best part so far is
there is a voting off process. They call it Virgin Sacrifices. Funny,
it's pretty good. So it's interesting. So they have these
people come on the island. I do think they tried.

(03:02):
There's no way to verify it, although I think the
scandal is going to be like when it gets to
the end, if one of these people has hooked up
with somebody in the past, their axes are for sugar.

Speaker 2 (03:11):
Like by the way, yeah.

Speaker 4 (03:13):
We broke the backboard, you know what I mean, that's
gonna be what what happens. But the one thing that
was weird was the first night. And this isn't spoilers,
but you have to like to say we have a
crush on. They do it by giving you body paint
and you go touch the person's body, which I think
was probably one of the biggest tests in the history
of dating shows because all the dudes are like boobs. Yeah,

(03:36):
and then but some people are going for like the
ring finger, like.

Speaker 2 (03:39):
That now that is the ring finger.

Speaker 4 (03:41):
It's a smart move, that's right there.

Speaker 2 (03:43):
Smart move. Okay, you seem confused.

Speaker 3 (03:46):
I don't know. I like, I have a lot of
friends who are versions, and I definitely know that it
can be like odd bringing up with dating. I just
feel like this show idea, I don't know if I
like it.

Speaker 2 (03:58):
People have already signed up for season.

Speaker 3 (04:00):
I'm just like, why are you like, Like, I don't
think they like, why are you playing so much on
people to be virgin?

Speaker 4 (04:05):
Agree? I think that's why they had Colton there because
he was remember he was the version Bachelor that made
a big deal. It's like it really isn't that big, saying.

Speaker 3 (04:10):
Like why do we make this, Like it's such a
dumb stereotype if you want to be a virgin, shame
in the game.

Speaker 4 (04:16):
And so far it appears to be like done, preyrespectful. However,
they did have at the end of the episode, they
brought new hotties and like there's like models and they
had this guy. They did him dirty Noah. So they
had like on the screen Noah twenty five and like
his little thing you posted, yeah, I said, shaking in
his version boots. Yeah.

Speaker 2 (04:32):
I saw that. I was like, I'm not watching that.
They did dirty, yeah, the dirty. But so far it's
pretty good.

Speaker 1 (04:38):
I think it's funny that they have Colton, who was,
like you said, the virgin, and then Caitlin Bristow, who
was so far on the other end of the spectrum
on the Bachelorette the Bachelor.

Speaker 2 (04:50):
I don't even love that they were.

Speaker 3 (04:52):
I remember Colton jumping the fence, like I remember that
that he was the jump defence jumper, right, I remember
that meme.

Speaker 1 (04:58):
Caitlin the first it's out of her mouth on the
show were a suck stoke.

Speaker 4 (05:03):
Yeah, sick. So it's it's pretty good. It's on U Plus,
but it's good. I'm sure that it's one of the
shows that, yeah, it'll be around for a minute.

Speaker 2 (05:12):
Dating shows that a little bit sale.

Speaker 4 (05:14):
You think Love is Blinded too, so like there needs
to be a new twist every couple of years.

Speaker 3 (05:19):
So what was blind? It's like where'd you go?

Speaker 2 (05:21):
Like where do you go from there?

Speaker 3 (05:22):
Yeah? Just because give me It's like, Okay, that's boring.

Speaker 4 (05:25):
I always think, but like show, it's fair. But shows
are the best before they realize they're popular. Exactly when
Love is Blind brothers are popular and like the people rise,
they can become stars instead of that's.

Speaker 3 (05:37):
When it kind of because that's what I'm saying, Like
I when we start, especially the Charlotte one, that's the
only one that actually like can you watch After the
first season, I was like, Okay, these people are just
here to get famous.

Speaker 4 (05:45):
If you watched it yet, it's are you my first nine, three,
eight to.

Speaker 3 (05:49):
