Two men busted for trying to use a cannon to

launch drugs into a prison.

Okay, so where did they get the cannon?
Speaker 2 (00:46):
A lot of questions here, and they're not being subtle.
Two men nineteen year old and eighteen year old. We're
contempting to smuggle two hundred thousand dollars with a contraband
a federal prison in Louisiana using a cannon. They plan
to shoot one hundred and twelve thousand dollars worth of
tobacco and ninety thousand dollars worth of meth over a

security fence onto the prison grounds.

So many question.
Speaker 2 (01:09):
So, well, here's the biggest thing. It's unclear they're caught
in the act or if officials caught wind ahead time
and we're like, hey, you can't do that.
Speaker 1 (01:17):
How do they get all that stuff?
Speaker 2 (01:19):
And we all know? So uh, they said, we also
don't know what the canon looked like, but it had
a range over three hundred and fifty feet, so it
is possible it could have worked.
Speaker 1 (01:27):
Okay, however, well they're they're front temporal lobe.
Speaker 3 (01:32):
Is that what it's called. It's not developed yet. Well,
so we gotta like remind and remind ourselves.

They say the cannon was an antique. It was a
used compressed air, so it's kind of like a T
shirt cannon, one of those things. Okay, but still you
don't think that they're going to realize that something's.
Speaker 1 (01:47):
Like flying over like the walls of prison.
Speaker 2 (01:49):
Just raining rain drugs and when the guys grab the
bags room inside, nobody's.
Speaker 1 (01:54):
Getting paid to do that. Also, I'm just sad.
Speaker 2 (01:57):
That's one of those ones where the lawyer gets the
case and goes, come on, what do you think was
gonna happen?
