Speaker 2 (00:03):
I mentioned this a little bit yesterday, but Starbucks is
finally leaning in on the Secret Menu and they're not
paying somebody thirty thousand dollars the best new drink idea.
Speaker 1 (00:13):
Okay, which is kind of cool.
Speaker 2 (00:15):
I would imagine as a barista the Secret Menu and
TikTok had to be the worst things that happened to
the coffee industry for sure, because it just became like
everybody making something. Although I would say the medicine ball
is pretty good, like.
Speaker 3 (00:26):
Yes, like the tea, I will say I have gone
that a few times, but I remember like everyone was
just like going like fixated for a while there on
getting the Secret Drink. Yes, it was like probably like
eight years ago. People were just really obsessed with it.
So I can't imagine.
Speaker 2 (00:40):
So there's four finalists, they get five grand each. Those
four drinks will hit the app fans will vote on
the next month, the winter. I guess an additional twenty
five grand, Okay, So I hear, I guess the new
secret ones are adding to the menu. The cookies on top.
So you order cold brew with two pumps of vanilla
syrup and then top it with cold foam and cookie crumbles.
Does sounds fantastic? Sounds right?
Speaker 1 (01:01):
I mean I don't drink coffee, but sure.
Speaker 2 (01:02):
The dragon fruit glow up okay for a mango dragon
food lemonade refresher, add their peach juice blend and top
of milk cold foam. I just wondered with these, How
did somebody hop at the idea for this stuff?
Speaker 1 (01:14):
Why are we just somebody that was like, oh, I
like these, let me try them together? Lemon tea and pearls.
Speaker 2 (01:19):
So get black tea and lemonade plus raspberry flavored popping pearls.
It's basically a raspberry arm A Palmer or Bubba balls.
Speaker 1 (01:26):
That sounds pretty good, Okay, I don't know if I
like that.
Speaker 2 (01:29):
And then the just add white mocha, which is an
ice brown sugar oat milk espresso plus two pums of
white chocolate mocha sauce and top it with cold foam.
Speaker 3 (01:37):
That sounds so bad for you, but I'm so I
would I would take a sip.
Speaker 2 (01:41):
I would also hope if you win, like I would
either want like free drinks for life, because twenty five
granty it's a lot of money. However, Starbucks will make
that off that.
Speaker 1 (01:49):
Drink in like a day, not even.
Speaker 2 (01:51):
Like maybe like a region of stores in the day's
country wide Like yeah that said, Hey listen, I need
a percentage please, But it's the secret. You contest dot
Starbucks dot com. You have until Sunday if you want
