After their last date Bruce thought things were going in the right direction because Sara spent the night, but he had to work early so he made sure he paid for Sara’s Uber home, but he hasn’t heard from her since and isn’t sure why.

We call Sara trying to figure out if there is anything else between her and Bruce that happened that may have caused things to go wrong and she tells us that she wasn’t a fan of the type of Uber Bruce got her! Find out what’s really going on in this Second Date Update!

and you guys have been on three dates total, correct?

Speaker 2 (00:33):
Yeah, three dates? Okay, So I don't know where we're wrong.

Speaker 1 (00:36):
And how does the vibe feel on the dates? I
feel like we were making progress. It feel like we
stalled out eventually or what was.

Speaker 2 (00:42):
The I mean a first date went pretty swift, it
went really well, and then like it just I felt
like it was getting better and better, like we were
getting the vibe was there, everything was easy, easy going,
and then yeah, I haven't heard from her like almost
two weeks now, okay.

Speaker 1 (01:00):
And the first date was top golf yeah, and then
second we went to the zoo. That's pretty sick. That's
a great date.

Speaker 3 (01:09):
I've mean top golf and then zoo. Those are two
like high fun.

Speaker 1 (01:12):
Dates well, and they're also yeah, there's also it's something
to do, something to talk about, and it's it's easy
to have conversation. I feel like too. Yeah. And then
a third date, we did what.

Speaker 2 (01:23):
We went to downtown.

Speaker 1 (01:24):
For dinner, okay, very nice and you thought everything was
going well?

Speaker 2 (01:29):
Yeah, I mean like the dinner went super well. We
were getting like more vulnerable and stuff, like the connection
was definitely.

Speaker 1 (01:35):
There for me.

Speaker 2 (01:35):
I don't know where things went.

Speaker 1 (01:38):
Haywire okay, Okay. For the third date, did you pick
her up or no?

Speaker 2 (01:43):
So, because we're going downtown, we were have some drinks.
I got an uber there okay, yeah, and so she
got there as well.

Speaker 1 (01:50):
Yeah, but did you pick her up in the uber?

Speaker 4 (01:53):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (01:53):
I picked her up in the uber all the way.

Speaker 1 (01:55):
Very nice okay. And then she stayed at your place after.

Speaker 2 (02:00):
Sounds Yeah, just honestly, just because it'd gotten late. Didn't
want to, you know, do the second uber trip, you know,
it just didn't feel like that was the way to go, okay,
to make sure she was okay.

Speaker 1 (02:12):
So third day, she stays over your place. Do you
guys have adult fun time or what? What goes on
with that we we we kept the queen.

Speaker 2 (02:20):
I actually just stayed on the couch to be honest.

Speaker 1 (02:22):
Okay, okay, and she stay, Yeah.

Speaker 3 (02:26):
But you guys like having fun. Okay, guys like having fun.
So that's why.

Speaker 2 (02:32):
Yeah, it just you know, like again, just didn't want
to make it unsafe situation, but make sure she got
home safe.

Speaker 1 (02:38):
Okay, So that's fair. And then so that's two weeks ago,
and since then, nothing no text back.

Speaker 2 (02:47):
She unmatched me from hinge that called that text did nothing.

Speaker 1 (02:51):
Oh okay, So let's do this, Bruce. We'll call her,
try and get her up and see what her side
of the story is, because from what you're telling me,
it sounds like you did basically everything right, especially if
she went back to your place. That's usually a pretty
good sign. Hello.

Speaker 3 (03:06):
One second, especially if she like slept over and like
you guys, no doubt.

Speaker 1 (03:18):
Hello. I calling for Sarah. Please, Hey, Sarah, it's intern John.
I got Saws and Rose here as well. Can I
talk to you on the air real quick about something?
Nothing bad. I just need like thirty or forty seconds
your time, Intern John, Yes, this is in the flesh. Well,
I'm voting forty seconds, okay, Okay, we're doing a second

(03:45):
date up date. I have some the other line here, Bruce,
if you want to say hello. Nailed it, and so
Sarah Bruce reached out to us. He told us, you
guys have been on three dates matched on Hinge. Everything
was going really well, but that for the last two
weeks you've been kind of miss seeing action. So we're
just trying to see where your head's at, if you
see a future down the line, or really guess what's

(04:06):
going on in your mind.

Speaker 5 (04:09):
Oh gosh, honestly, I just I just would like to,
you know, just move on.

Speaker 1 (04:19):
Okay, all right, but was there anything in particular that.

Speaker 5 (04:25):
Well, Kenna, Yeah, yeah, do you.

Speaker 1 (04:29):
Want to share that or we can guess.

Speaker 2 (04:33):
So well, did did Bruce?

Speaker 5 (04:37):
Did he tell you about a.

Speaker 1 (04:39):
Date or yeah? So we know we did top golf,
we know did the zoo. We went to dinner, and
that you stayed over the last time you saw you.

Speaker 5 (04:48):
Oh okay, yeah, so you know our third date, when
we went to dinner, he picked me up in an
uber It was a nice uber.

Speaker 1 (04:56):
It was a uber black nice.

Speaker 5 (04:59):
And then he ended up going back to his house
in another Uber black okay.

Speaker 6 (05:05):
And then the next day.

Speaker 5 (05:06):
When he sent me home by myself. It was just
like this crappy uber X, and I just kind of
felt like he doesn't really regard.

Speaker 1 (05:19):
Me that well, Okay, you know what I like for.

Speaker 5 (05:22):
Himself, you know, for himself, he's in the uber black
like it's you know what I mean, It's like, oh,
I have to you know, ride in style. So I
know he I know that that, like the money part
is not an issue, So like why put me in
this like dinky, stupid little uber X.

Speaker 1 (05:39):
You know what I mean.

Speaker 5 (05:39):
It's kind of like it's going she's going on by herself. Okay, Okay,
see you sweetie, you know what I mean.

Speaker 2 (05:45):
So I didn't feel bad.

Speaker 1 (05:47):
Well, Bruce, Bruce, let me ask you brother, your thoughts. Yeah, no, okay.

Speaker 2 (05:53):
So when I or renewer, my default is just look,
I don't even look at the price. Eg I look
at two minutes, a five minutes away, whatever. I go
for the close one. And when you're downtown or going
downtown like those destinations, you're gonna get any we're black
a little bit more often. I get where she's coming from.
But look, it was not like the cheapness thing. It

(06:14):
was not about, you know, disregarding her by any means.
It was literally about covenion getting her where it needed
to go safely, quickly.

Speaker 1 (06:22):
Okay, So so Jess, So I understand, Sarah. Had he
had sent you home in a Yukon or a Lincoln,
we'd be open to a fourth date because it was
a Honda Pilot or something like that. That was enough.
That's all right, And I'm not trying to make fun,
miss asking.

Speaker 5 (06:42):
I just didn't feel I just didn't feel well regarded
by him.

Speaker 1 (06:45):
Okay, I'm gonna put you guys in hold. Are you
a team Bruise or Team Sarah? Eight seven seven four
six State? Want to call nine nine three three eight
to text? It is second date update on intern John
your Morning Show. Second date updates on intern John and
your Morning Show. This talk to Bruce and Sarah. They
had three dates. He was wondering what went wrong. She

(07:06):
let us know. On the last date. I guess they
had dinner downtown. He uber to pick her up, then
uber back to his place. She was upset with the
Uber that she got or he got her to ride
back to her place. I guess she got him an
Uber X instead of the Uber black. That's why she
doesn't want to talk to him anymore eight seven seven,
nine ninety five four sixty one to call, nine ninety

(07:26):
three three eight to text, we're getting in hold of
Shelby Sauce being in the dating scene. Would you be
upset if a dude sends you back an Uber X
and seven Uber black that you guys are riding in
earlier that day.

Speaker 3 (07:38):
I wouldn't personally be upset, but even okay, so I
am team Bruce here, don't get me wrong, I am.
I do think that that's like a weird thing to
get ben.

Speaker 1 (07:47):
Out's shape about.

Speaker 3 (07:48):
But when he said he wanted to get her home faster,
it would I'd be like, Oh, you want me to
get out of your hair faster? And that's just like
what I personally was like, Oh that's kind of weird.
So maybe he was just like, oh, this is fasting.
So I would think if he was like acting like
he would, I'm not saying that he did, but if
he I have hung out guys that you know, they'll
only do Uber black, so I would feel like, Okay,

(08:10):
So now like you're just like done with me? Oh okay, yeah,
so you're like sending me away, so you're like over it?
And like, I'll I can take whatever. But granted, women,
when we're dating and we're single, if we like somebody,
we will look, we will will overlook. Granted, I personally,
guys always offer a driving me home. I don't get
Ubert home, so Bruce do better. Yeah, but I do

(08:30):
think it's weird she's getting so about out of shape
over an Uber and couldn't just text me be like
or she she was there when he ordered it, she
could have been like, oh, okay, that's yeah, I.

Speaker 1 (08:38):
Don't disagree, got me home? Do three ubers one night?
It's easily of one hundred.

Speaker 3 (08:41):
Dollars and not too It's so expensive, especially to uber here,
and if you're obering a lot within like a certain timeframe,
I feel like Uber they make it the cost go up.

Speaker 1 (08:49):
Oh no doubt so. Yeah.

Speaker 3 (08:51):
If he if she had like somewhere to go though,
and he was trying to send her home fast, that's
one thing. But just like ask him, be like okay,
Like I would make a joke, be like, oh, if
you want me out your hair so badly, I would
order my own Uber. But granted me, myself, I have
woken up and ordered ubers. But I've always had guys
be like, no, cancel it. I'm going to take you.

Speaker 1 (09:06):
Home, which is probably the move, which I think is
so nice, unless I guess if they had to go
to work or something like that. He was saying, But.

Speaker 3 (09:14):
Yeah, if I'm sneaking out, I'm you're not gonna even
know I ordered an uber because I stuck out already.

Speaker 1 (09:18):
You are the queen of That's one thing.

Speaker 3 (09:21):
That's the guys I like always offer a driving home
as they should.

Speaker 1 (09:25):
Real quick, Jewels, good morning, good morning. What'd you want
to say at this girl?

Speaker 4 (09:33):
I'm definitely team Bruce. Honestly, I feel like anyone who
really agrees with her or her in general is kind
of a red flag in my opinion. Yeah, I think
that if that's the make or break for your date,

(09:54):
like that's a serious issue in my opinion, because.

Speaker 3 (09:57):
I think like.

Speaker 4 (10:00):
It just feels way too nitpicky and way too like, yeah.

Speaker 1 (10:05):
Like maybe there's other issues rules like this is just
kind of like the well I can put my finger
on this one as the obvious reason. Yeah, I think
I think we lost I think we lost you Joe's
but I think that's I don't disagree. Let me go Lez,
good morning, good morning. What do you want to say
on second date? Updated?

Speaker 6 (10:22):
I'm definitely team Bruce. I think that's a little crazy
on her part to not even communicate that, Like I
would have just you know, made a joke about it, like, oh,
uber X for you, but uber help for you, uber
X for me.

Speaker 1 (10:34):
And I think Bruce.

Speaker 6 (10:35):
Would have been really cool about it. He seemed like
a super gentleman about it, So I feel like he
would have been like, oh, in the future, I won't
do it again.

Speaker 5 (10:41):
Literally.

Speaker 1 (10:41):
Yeah, I guess that's one of those things she is
is like, can you kim playing if you're not paying
for it? You know what I mean? Like, if you're
not paying can you really be upset with that? Is that?

Speaker 6 (10:51):
That's not that I would have made the joke about it. Yeah,
how funny, And then if he was offended, it would
have led to a better conversation. She said money wasn't
the issue. Sure, So it seems like he's been taking
care of her on all these dates.

Speaker 1 (11:01):
Yeah, no, I don't disagree, Liz, Thank you for listening.
To have a great day you too, Maybe migo? Is
it isma? Am I saying that right? Hopefully?

Speaker 6 (11:10):
Hi?

Speaker 1 (11:10):
How are you doing well? What'd you want to say
with second date update?

Speaker 2 (11:14):
I'm seeing Bruce all the way.

Speaker 6 (11:16):
I definitely believe he took the initiative to send her
in the Uber and that's fine, Like she should have
been grateful that he did anything for.

Speaker 2 (11:24):
Her and just been happy with it.

Speaker 1 (11:28):
Short and sweet. I don't see the problem there. I
don't disagree Isma. Thank you for listening. Have a great
day you too. Bye. All the texts on coming into
nine ninety three three eight singing dodge a bullet if
you want to do a second date update DM's rope
and at WYMSS Radio. And now let me say this,
if you're going to send Uber for me, I expect
full car service. Shut up, dude, I was. I saw

(11:49):
this clip on TikTok yesterday talking about how WNBA players
fly dudes out, just like in the NBA they fly out.
I love that. I was like, dude, find me out, bruh,
fly me out. Hell yeah, pampered weekends some No exactly
first class of course, my first class, girly.

Speaker 3 (12:03):
I would just appreciate, like not I would. I mean again,
I would rather have some have them and drive me
home because I know you and I don't have to
be stuck in a uber but I would just appreciate
a free uber ride, which sounds like kind of shallow,
but I would appreciate free uberide.

Speaker 1 (12:16):
Is that you can pretend you're being like chauffeured to
somewhere like extravagant. It's just so expensive. Oh I'm yeah,
I only want to look at my uber costs. That's
you know, that's a no go. Let me do the
