Speaker 2 (00:03):
Am I in a leftovers Intern John and your morning
show Leftovers and a Happy Friday friends. Welcome to the
Leftover Podcast. Intern John is my name, Shelby Sauce. Hello,
Hello Rose, Hello, Hello, hello sub That's why I show
this week too, you know.

Speaker 3 (00:21):
And I'm a fallen homie Eric the way he's part
of it, even though he's not here, even.

Speaker 2 (00:25):
Nice to spend it for talking with my shirt, for
texting during the podcast.

Speaker 3 (00:28):
That's good.

Speaker 2 (00:29):
Shouts to listener Rain who we drew that one of
the funnest things of all time. Shelby Sauce, what are
you excited about this weekend?

Speaker 4 (00:35):
My friend Maggie is visiting from Atlanta and she hasn't
visited since I moved to Arlington, even though she's been
to Arlington a few times since I moved back. But uh,
We're gonna go around Georgetown tonight, I think, and because
she's never been to Georgetown sure, and then we'll go
to probably Hide and then tomorrow we have some stuff
going on.

Speaker 1 (00:54):
Tomorrow's our actual birthday.

Speaker 4 (00:56):
But then tomorrow we're gonna celebrate with my friends, who
she's met all of my friends already, so we're going.

Speaker 1 (01:00):
To go out and how fun. I'm really saying, I'm
glad she's here. I love her.

Speaker 2 (01:04):
Well. Bit of a makeup trip too, is not what
you mean because last time wasn't she wasn't she sick?
Last time she was here.

Speaker 4 (01:09):
No, the last time she was here is for my birthday.
But like a year, a year ago, she came for
the comedy show and.

Speaker 3 (01:16):
I got COVID she was here ready this year?

Speaker 5 (01:18):
Right?

Speaker 1 (01:18):
Yeah, yeah, she came in June.

Speaker 3 (01:21):
What do we do?

Speaker 4 (01:22):
I had through a birthday party.

Speaker 1 (01:23):
Oh you were there.

Speaker 2 (01:26):
I'm like, no, you like this whole weird, this whole honestly,
it's been a weird year memory.

Speaker 4 (01:34):
I couldn't figure out i'd moved or not because I
was gone for my actual birthday. So I threw my
party late, and then I moved a week after that.
So I was like, yeah, you've been here, and I
was like, no, you haven't.

Speaker 2 (01:44):
I thought the last couple of times you guys try
to hang out, there was like wrenches in the plan.

Speaker 3 (01:49):
I know this sick one. I thought there's something else
before too, but maybe I was wrong.

Speaker 4 (01:52):
No, we saw we all saw her though in Florida.
Remember that was fun because she was like, that was
so much fun, blah blah blah.

Speaker 1 (01:59):
I was like, I want to go back.

Speaker 2 (02:01):
Actually, now that you say it, I vaguely remember, oh, okay,
I know what happened at your birthday. So I was
the adulting situation and got everybody to the Uber you tried.
We got to your apartment complex. You're trying to convince
me it was in your apartment, and you try to
walk a block away somewhere.

Speaker 3 (02:16):
Und that was.

Speaker 1 (02:17):
That was a week later.

Speaker 3 (02:18):
That was after she was there, there wasn't she Yeah,
that's different. That was pretty good.

Speaker 4 (02:23):
Yes, So I was like, why are you dropping me
off and trying to maybe figure out You're like, I'm
really walking in was like walking towards a toward a
bowling alley.

Speaker 1 (02:31):
I was like, this is not where I live.

Speaker 3 (02:33):
This is right. It was like our Uber eats order
is right here.

Speaker 4 (02:36):
And the next day I faced onime him was like
I can't leave you, like, let me walk by myself
back to my apartment that drunk because I remember being like,
that's not where I live, even though I verbatim knew
that's where I lived, because I remember thinking like that's.

Speaker 2 (02:48):
Your door and I was like Shelby, I literally walked
you to your place.

Speaker 1 (02:53):
Yea.

Speaker 2 (02:53):
Also because there's me Maggie. No, Maggie was there because no, yes,
when Kayle slept over to No, this was anyway, that
was like now I walk in in there we got
like McDonald's, like you see them donalds.

Speaker 1 (03:04):
So this was like two weeks in a row.

Speaker 4 (03:05):
That's why you're confusing them because one was after Pride
and one was after my birthday, and then we all
had like a giant slumber party after my birthday.

Speaker 1 (03:13):
Well you slept in my right, who slept in the
couch because you droweled on it? He did.

Speaker 3 (03:19):
It doesn't make sense that would see the drool he did.

Speaker 1 (03:22):
He did believe that for a second. He did. Gross,
it's gonna be fine on her white couch.

Speaker 3 (03:28):
No, this is my this is the cheap one. Fine
you have that couch.

Speaker 1 (03:33):
I still have it.

Speaker 3 (03:33):
Yeah, very exciting. No, Well, happy birthday to Maggie.

Speaker 1 (03:41):
High birthday, mag lovely soul. He's the best.

Speaker 3 (03:44):
We were in Disney about a year ago.

Speaker 4 (03:46):
Crazy mm hmmmm yeah Disney.

Speaker 1 (03:52):
Yeah, I did have.

Speaker 5 (03:53):
A girl, Maggie.

Speaker 3 (03:56):
Yes, Rose said about this weekend.

Speaker 6 (03:58):
So I have a massage scheduled this weekend, which I'm
very excited about, and I impulsively bought class passes to
go to a new Pilate studio. It's like solid core
instead of the one that I usually go to, which
is kind of like a little more mellow.

Speaker 1 (04:13):
So I'm scared.

Speaker 6 (04:15):
I've done solid core with a sauce before and that
was really intense, and I.

Speaker 1 (04:22):
Don't have the same core strength that I had pre baby, so.

Speaker 6 (04:25):
I'm trying to build back up to that, and this
is going it's gonna it's gonna be it's gonna be interesting, it's.

Speaker 3 (04:31):
Gonna be fun.

Speaker 6 (04:33):
But it was like a Bogo class pass, so I'm like, well,
I want to try it. Anyways, it might as well
just do this and can like it. I can go
again and then get a membership and change my pilate studios.

Speaker 1 (04:42):
So I don't know.

Speaker 6 (04:43):
I don't know what's gonna happen, but I have that and.

Speaker 7 (04:45):
And the massage on the same day, so it's work
out very nicely for me. Yeah, I think I think
it'll be like a good I think it'll be a
good weekend. And we're putting up uh well, I am
planning on putting up a Christmas tree today.

Speaker 1 (05:00):
When the girl's nap. Hopefully that's that's my play about this.

Speaker 3 (05:03):
Is the season. I asked her, word, what do you
said about this week?

Speaker 5 (05:07):
We're doing a test of our macaroni and cheese next week.

Speaker 3 (05:10):
What do you mean why? Big step?

Speaker 5 (05:12):
Because I've never made anything for Thanksgiving before? And uh,
I've noticed that, you know, he's getting older. They'll make
as many things as you like. Back you're a kid,
so like so your boys making mac and cheese more.
We're making a small batch tonight before we do the big.

Speaker 2 (05:30):
Show like Baked one where it's gonna be like the
thick took.

Speaker 5 (05:34):
We're making a room.

Speaker 2 (05:36):
Yeah, TikTok. Yeah, hell yeah, you're making your own sauce.

Speaker 3 (05:39):
I mean you got to make the cheese. Yeah, okay,
do you want to bring some in for the how
that tastes first?

Speaker 1 (05:46):
Like he's try first, got to try.

Speaker 3 (05:48):
Yeah, it doesn't make the weekend. Sometimes we get hungy
here though, Okay, cool, be nice to have some mac
and cheese.

Speaker 2 (06:00):
There's a TikTok like like a weight lifting hack where
you get the nuggies and like the Chick fil A,
the small mac and cheese and it's like harming pro
teams like a fune of calories. Oh it's so good, nice, cool,
my weekend got a big game night for hockey. That's
very exciting. It's also it's they called the shoulder check game,
so it's it's really cool that our kids are involved.

(06:21):
Like it's a suicide prevention charity. So that's what the
game is tonight. So like especially for young boys to
like talk about mental health stuff. So that's that's very
exciting them. Man, grab the dogs and grab avery buddy
Shane to go to the bar tonight.

Speaker 1 (06:35):
The dogs are the bar.

Speaker 3 (06:36):
They're gonna be at the hotel. I think that the bar.
Oh yeah, I got play.

Speaker 1 (06:42):
Yeah, points to the room, carry all around like a baby.

Speaker 2 (06:46):
Honestly, should you be find the couch and just whatever.
Skittles will be the best host of like sewing.

Speaker 1 (06:52):
But can you imagine carrying him like a child and
he's looking over.

Speaker 2 (06:55):
You like, hey, you can leave your gus here, then
leave the bus. Yeah, please get off my couch. Please,
Now you do some video stuff tomorrow in the bar again.
I'm going golfing on Sunday. But our friend DJ Rise,
whoa look.

Speaker 1 (07:12):
At you, bigame golf for these days.

Speaker 3 (07:14):
I think it's supposed to like snow.

Speaker 4 (07:15):
This it is because I was supposed to go hiking
near like l Ory Caverns or something with my friend Amy,
and now we're not going fifty five Okay, well we're
I think I.

Speaker 1 (07:26):
Think it was.

Speaker 3 (07:26):
I don't know everywhere else it's doing.

Speaker 1 (07:28):
It's gonna be stilling there for sures. We decided not
to go.

Speaker 3 (07:32):
You leave Maggie when you go hiking or should be already.

Speaker 4 (07:35):
No, we were going Sunday, and it's about an hour
and a half away, yes, whatever.

Speaker 1 (07:39):
The park is that we're going to.

Speaker 4 (07:40):
And then and we had scheduled this like a month
and a half ago, and then we talked yesterday and
she's like, let's just like reschedule.

Speaker 1 (07:46):
It was like, yeah, girl, good idea.

Speaker 3 (07:47):
That's fair. Yeah, Well, golfing's at eleven o'clock on Sunday.
And I told Brandon, I'm like, there's a good chance
I'm gonna be in a rough shape.

Speaker 1 (07:54):
Yeah, at eleven o'clock, you're going to be in a
rough shape.

Speaker 3 (07:57):
At eleven o'clock our closes like two, I have to
drive home.
