Melissa and Arron have been together for 4months now and they meet on Hinge; they took things pretty fast and hung out a lot right after matching on hinge. Melissa had a big talk with Aaron about taking the next step, which is moving in together, being how they have been together for 6months. Arron also lives close to Melissa work, and he owns his own place so why would she get a new lease when she just can move in with Arron. When Melissa brough it up to him he was cool with it and Melissa started to slowly move in but when she brought in a bag of her stuff to his place then he freaked out and said the place wasn’t big enough and ready for her.

We call Arron pretending to send him a free bouquet of flowers and when we ask him who he wants to send the flowers to, Arron asks if we can send them to another women, who he just had a 1st date with. Find out what’s really going on in this week’s War Of The Roses!

Speaker 1 (00:04):
If you are new welcome. It's internshown in your morning show.
We do wore the roses because we Love Love wants
you to be in a healthy, happy relationship.

Speaker 2 (00:14):
You deserve that.

Speaker 1 (00:15):
You can't be in the healthy, happy relationship if you
worry about your partner stepping out and cheating. It's one
of the worst feelings when it gets in the back
of your head and then it's like I just rather know.
That's where we step in. Melissa, good morning, Hi, good morning.
So walk me through this. You and Aaron been together?
How long?

Speaker 3 (00:34):
So we've been together about six months.

Speaker 2 (00:36):
Now, okay? And you guys first matched.

Speaker 3 (00:39):
Where I'm hinge?

Speaker 1 (00:41):
Okay? And what about Aaron's hinge profile made him stand
out to you?

Speaker 3 (00:46):
You know, he was kind of funny, like he was
kind of goofy in his responses and I really like that.

Speaker 2 (00:52):
Okay, that's good.

Speaker 4 (00:53):
I would like that too.

Speaker 1 (00:54):
Your email notes that you guys took things pretty fast.

Speaker 2 (00:57):
Can you explain what that means?

Speaker 3 (00:59):
Yeah, Well, we matched, We talked for a couple of days,
and then we went on our first day, and after
that we hung out pretty much every day.

Speaker 1 (01:07):
Okay, and just like the connection was there instantly, didn't
feel like there's a bit of a leg from the
online persona to who he is as a person.

Speaker 3 (01:18):
No, not at all. In fact, we got along so
much better, so much easier in person. Yeah, it was
really good. And it has been six months, as you.

Speaker 1 (01:27):
Know, okay, and you recently had a kind of a
big talk about taking things to the next step, which
for you guys means.

Speaker 3 (01:34):
What okay, So for us it meant moving in together. Possibly.
My lease is almost up, and you know, we've been
together for good long while. It's super well, I thought,
And he lives close to my work, so I spend
a lot of time at his place anyway, So I

(01:55):
was like, why would I get a new lease if
I could just move in with you?

Speaker 1 (01:58):
Right, it's important Note he owns his own place, right, yes, okay,
And I think that's important because it's not like his
least is coming up soon.

Speaker 2 (02:07):
It's like he's he plans on being there. He's the future.

Speaker 1 (02:11):
Yeah, and obviously if he sees you in the future,
it seems to be a logical thing.

Speaker 4 (02:17):
That makes sense enough for two people, ye house to
start the chapter.

Speaker 1 (02:22):
And so Melissa, you mention your email that you're basically there.
I mean without living there. You basically live there anyway.

Speaker 3 (02:27):
Right, Yeah, basically like more than half the week I'm there.

Speaker 1 (02:31):
Okay, But the reason are doing War of the Roses
kind of has to do with the whole moving thing.

Speaker 2 (02:36):
What's going on?

Speaker 3 (02:38):
Oh yeah. So I brought this up to him and
he was like pretty enthusiastic about it, and so I
started kind of soft launching this idea by bringing clothes
and like my shoothbrush and makeup stuff to get ready
for work over to the house when I would stay there,
see moving, Yeah, exactly. Try. I was trying to ease

(03:02):
him into it.

Speaker 5 (03:03):
And then.

Speaker 3 (03:05):
When I showed up with a bag of my stuff
to leave there.

Speaker 2 (03:07):
He freaked out.

Speaker 3 (03:09):
Wow, he was like whoa, no, no, no, no, I
just I don't have It was super weird. He's like, no,
it's I don't have space yet. I'm not ready, Like
I need to clean the place up for you. It's
not ready. That's weird making weird excuses. Yeah, And so
I'm like, does he have commitment issues or is he
hiding something?

Speaker 1 (03:27):
Okay, So, and your mind is either like he doesn't
want to make that step or there could be somebody
else coming over.

Speaker 2 (03:33):
Is that fair? Yes, okay, so let's do this.

Speaker 1 (03:37):
We'll have sauce column from the flower company, off from
the Roses to go to you girlfriend of six months.
If they go somewhere else, we'll find out what's going on.

Speaker 3 (03:44):
Okay, okay, thank you.

Speaker 1 (03:47):
I wore the roses in just over two minutes on
Intern John in your morning show. Wore the roses on
intern John in your morning show, Melissa, let me recap this.
You match with Aaron on Hinge a little over six
months months ago, sorry day, not too long after that.
You said things went pretty hot and heavy, like right away.
You guys got a good vibe, get along great. What

(04:08):
we're here for, Roses is your lease is up soon.
Aaron has his own place happens to be closer to
your work. You spend the majority of your week at
his place anyway, so you kind of thought, hey, it'd
be easier for me instead of having to pack to
go bag every day to leave like toothbrush, hair stuff

(04:28):
and some clothes at his place to make things easier
for you. He freaked out about how he needs to
clean more, and your thought is either he has commitment
issues or there's somebody else, which I would argue is
also commitment issues, and so you basically want to know
what's going on.

Speaker 2 (04:44):
Is that fair? Yes?

Speaker 3 (04:46):
Exactly.

Speaker 1 (04:47):
I do think it's odd because we're talking during the song.
He's the one that wants you come over all the time, right,
Like he's the one that's like, hey, he should just
come over tonight, like it's it's his idea.

Speaker 3 (04:57):
Oh yeah, for sure, for sure.

Speaker 2 (05:00):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (05:01):
I know, like when I've had girlfriends, I've always they
wanted to bring stuff, like yeah, it makes it easier,
like that, what what do I.

Speaker 4 (05:06):
Care if you lost I did it was like yeah,
like do you want me to clean it on a drawer?
You're here all the time and you say that the
whole weekend.

Speaker 1 (05:12):
And by the way, that's different too than like moving
in your own furniture, just like why would you all
make it easier instead have to it's a pain in
the butt to pack up clothes every single.

Speaker 4 (05:20):
Night, and a toothbrush, some T shirts and like just
not a lot.

Speaker 1 (05:25):
It's not even in like a bad way. It's like
this will make my life easier way. So yeah, that's odd.
So Melissa, let's do this love sauce call for the
Flower Company off from the Roses they I wais should
go to your girlfriend of six months? If they go
to you, we put them on hold. So what you
want to if they go somewhere else, We'll get some
answers for you.

Speaker 2 (05:42):
Okay, okay, let's do it. One second. Shout I get
a mom aun or so bad.

Speaker 4 (06:00):
Hi, I'm calling for Aaron. Hi, Aaron. My name is Shelby.
I am calling you from a new local flower shop.
We're called by Mess Flowers. We're new downtown and we're
trying out new marketing, offering locals a free bouquet of roses.
It's totally free. We're just trying to get people see
the product in person, don't need your credit card info,
and it makes you look good.

Speaker 5 (06:19):
I'm sorry, I I don't remember signing up for anything.

Speaker 2 (06:22):
Oh no, you did it.

Speaker 4 (06:24):
So like Google just gives us a list of local
phone numbers and since you are local where, you've just
been doing this once a week, just trying to you know,
before the holiday season comes. We're just trying to get
top of mind for people when they go to buy
holiday flowers, you know, Valentine's Day stuff like that, because
we just open and it's like my mom's dream, my
dad finally made happen, and so I'm just, you know,

(06:44):
your typical gen z trying to talk my way through
being on a phone.

Speaker 2 (06:49):
Yeah, really cool.

Speaker 5 (06:50):
What would you guys? Would you guys need anything from me,
because I just I'm not in a position to give
you anything.

Speaker 4 (06:57):
It's no matter what would you Yeah, no, no, we
don't need our credit card info? Like like I said,
we just would need to know, like you know, who
you're sending them to. And I'll just have like a
little list of stuff. Does I want to make you
a profile in case you do end up coming back,
so I can be like, oh, Aaron halso and so
uh so they are red roses. I don't know if
I said that. We just have like a plaza right now,
and it's not really like a big time for people

(07:17):
to buy roses, but you know it's a bean fall
and everything. But who do you want to send them to?
I mean, my mom makes gorgeous bouquets. Okay?

Speaker 5 (07:27):
Yeah no, well first of all, actually, yeah, good luck
to you and your mom gots thank you. I would yeah,
I would love to take you up on that.

Speaker 4 (07:35):
Okay, it's three yes, it's right. Okay, So who do
you want to send them to. I just need like
the first name.

Speaker 5 (07:42):
Let's go. You said a dozen roses? Correct, yes, yeah,
let's send those to Kristen.

Speaker 4 (07:49):
That's the k Kristin. Is that like E N or
I N that? And that's my mom's name. Look at that?
Uh and then Kristen, Yeah, Kristin love it. No, Mom'm
not talking to you, so like, who is she to you?
We're gonna make you profiles like she your your sister,
your grandma, your significant other, your.

Speaker 5 (08:08):
Mom, well hopefully something more. But if you guys do
have notes, I would like you to put on there
that a first date isn't complete without these and and
I think that will hopefully get me a second and
hopefully I'll get to maybe.

Speaker 2 (08:22):
Or are you and me?

Speaker 3 (08:27):
Are you kidding me? Right now?

Speaker 2 (08:30):
Melissa?

Speaker 3 (08:30):
You didn't know?

Speaker 1 (08:32):
Okay, Well, since we got in that line real quick,
and my name's intern John, I got Saucer Rose here.

Speaker 2 (08:38):

Speaker 1 (08:39):

girlfriend Melissa on the line.

want to air out stuff on the radio.

Speaker 1 (09:50):

once is what I'm getting.

Speaker 5 (09:56):

one person in my life will actually want to live with.
