Speaker 1 (00:00):
Everything celebrity Sauce has her entertainment apart what she got
for us.

Speaker 2 (00:04):
So over the weekend, the final Cowboy Carter Show went
down in Vegas, and it was one for the books
because there was a big surprise to everyone who ended
up going. So basically Queen Bee's former group Dusty Child,
they reunite for a special performance which was so cool.
So it was Michelle Williams and Kelly Roland. They joined
Beyonce on stage near the end of the night to
perform a medley of their groups two thousand and four

(00:27):
hit Lose My Breath, and then they stuck around for
Beyonce's renaissance track Energy, and then they drove the crowd
wild when they did a rendition of Booty Delicious.

Speaker 3 (00:35):
So this was the first time that they've.

Speaker 2 (00:37):
Gotten back together since they took the stage back when
Beyonce headlined Coachella in twenty eighteen. So they were super successful.
I'm sure we already know this, but after their final
tour in two thousand and five, they ended up just
they never announced that they broke up, but they did
like separate basically, but I have like a little clip
of it.

Speaker 1 (00:53):
Yeah, that's pretty cool. Yeah, that's like an iconic moment
sure with the biggest girl bands of all time.

Speaker 3 (01:06):
So cool.

Speaker 2 (01:07):
So if you got to go like fuck you, I
don't know if you saw this over the weekend, I
don't know how I feel about this because I think
it's kind of wild. But the Astronomer Team, you know,
the company that those two, you know, a couple worked for,
the Strawmer Team, has managed the fallout from the COLP
like Hiss Camp, by hiring Gwyneth Paltrow as their temporary spokesperson.

(01:30):
If you don't know, Gwyneth Paltrow is the lead singer COLP,
like Chris Martin's ex wife.

Speaker 3 (01:35):
So I'm like, well, that's kind of weird to me.

Speaker 1 (01:37):
I don't know, because video is hilarious though.

Speaker 2 (01:39):
It is hilarious, but I'm like, it's not like Chris
Martin did anything to you, but.

Speaker 1 (01:43):
Like Gwen is like some of you're asking questions, and
what questions is to get to that? Yeah, it's just
funny because it's like they're avoiding the issue.

Speaker 2 (01:50):
Yes, So basically it's a one minute video coyly, I
guess you say, addressing the recent interest in the company.
So one of the quotes is quote armer has gotten
a lot of questions over the last few days.

Speaker 3 (02:02):
They wanted me to answer. The most common ones.

Speaker 2 (02:04):
These questions are, OMG, what the actual f and how
is your social media team holding up?

Speaker 3 (02:10):
Unquote.

Speaker 2 (02:11):
So then like she responded by dodging and pivoting all
of the pivoting to their core business, and she also
added quote best place to run apatchy airflow. We've been
thrilled so many of you have a newfound interest in
data automation unquote, So like pretty funny.

Speaker 3 (02:27):
I was just like, that's kind of weird, but I
guess it's.

Speaker 2 (02:30):
Smart, yeah, because it has gone viral because it's like,
whoa look, look at you guys.

Speaker 3 (02:37):
Also, this is pretty cool.

Speaker 2 (02:38):
So Tim Burton's got fans buzzing after teasing a secret
project that he made with Lady Yaga while working on Wednesday.
So this was at the Jafani Film Festival. He was
doing a little like a Ted talk, not really but
basically Tim didn't spent us spill any details, but he
did say, quote, I just worked with her on Wednesday
a little bit and I've done something else with her unquote,

(02:58):
leaving fans to speculate what's the next Lady Got God
did join Wednesday and she will appear in the next
season that drops on August sixth, So there will be
two parts to Wednesday when it does come out. So
first part drops on your birthday, John August sixth, and
then the second part will be on September third. So
while he does, Tim Burton does keep being very vague
about stuff. He could stop praising her, saying that quote

(03:20):
she's she's just such an inspiring artist. I feel so
very connected to her unquote. So I think that's pretty sick.
I am excited. If you leave for something to watch
to night. We got Bachelor in Parase on ABC, American
Ninja Warriors on NBC. Adaptive is on Peacock. It's a
docu series about the Paralympics. It follows four members from
Team USA from Tokyo twenty twenty as they prepare for

(03:42):
Paris and then Hurricane Katrina. Raycegain's Time is Outstay on
Jsney Plus and Hulu. It is a five part documentary
about one of the deadliest national disasters in US history.

Speaker 1 (03:52):
Thanks Austin, Welcome. If you need something to listen to,
I got a New Thoughts Shower. Podcasts out talking about
dating deal breakers. You can listen why am Radio dot com.
I thought this is interesting. Psychologists talking about why inside
jokes are really important. Okay, so I would say we
have a couple inside jokes on the show. Any celebrity
we mentioned, I always say close personal friend, yes, And

(04:14):
that's because there's folks in our industry who think they
are close personal friends with anybody. So we just say
it because it's it's ridiculous. It could be Beyonce a
close personal friends the show very close. She she know it,
No she doesn't, but if she met us, she high
like us for sure, or like anytime we mentioned where
a study is from he mentioned that we subscribe to
their Newsletterlen Absolutely so. According to psychologists, the reason the

(04:39):
inside jokes together a couple is like twofold. They strengthened
the group identity, so like shared laughter and shared like.
It's kind of like a fun little It's almost like
a secret joke.

Speaker 2 (04:48):
I guess it also takes you back to the time
when that joke became a thing.

Speaker 3 (04:51):
So nostalgic. Oh, I have like poor people in my life.

Speaker 1 (04:57):
Well and they say too, so they create psychological safety.
The psychologist says we don't crack jokes with people we
don't trust.

Speaker 3 (05:04):
Okay, so it makes sense.

Speaker 1 (05:06):
Like when you first meet somebody is the anxiety of
like how cool are they? Yeah?

Speaker 3 (05:11):
You got like I can't be myself just yet?

Speaker 1 (05:13):
Yeah? How much does our humor align or does it
not at all? There's no bigger letdown than when you
realize somebody hates fun.

Speaker 3 (05:20):
Oh yeah, why are you here?

Speaker 1 (05:22):
They say they help us cope, especially in high stress jobs.

Speaker 2 (05:25):
Oh for sure, especially if it's your coworker and you're
just still maybe only work friends, but you have jokes
together because yes, you can bond over that.

Speaker 1 (05:33):
Well, that's their staying songs. It says it becomes a
way survive the chaos. For sure. They also make relationships
feel exclusive in a good way.

Speaker 2 (05:40):
Yeah, especially if your best friend has an inside joke
with somebody else and it's like, okay, like you're my
best friend.

Speaker 1 (05:47):
Yeah you can hear all how to laugh with somebody else.

Speaker 3 (05:49):
I didn't know you guys hung out that much so that
you could even go there.

Speaker 1 (05:51):
Yeah oh yeah. And then they try to explain the
joke and it's like I don't even think it's funny.

Speaker 3 (05:55):
I'm like, actually, I don't. I don't get it.

Speaker 1 (05:58):
Only our inside jokes funny.

Speaker 2 (06:00):
I have like been like, I don't know, I have
said that before him Like no, I like really don't
get it.

Speaker 1 (06:05):
Yeah, it is tough the inside joke. You ever have
something happen when you go this story will never be
funny to anybody else. Yes, And it's like the time
moves on so much where it's like it's really not funny.
It's like it's still even the fact that it's not
funny makes it funny.

Speaker 2 (06:17):
Because like I make up lies about you all the time,
and then I had to explain that on Friday.

Speaker 1 (06:22):
Yeah, So were in the hallway last week Sauce Well
has said like I'm claustrophobic, I'm afraid of heights, and like,
but you are afraid of heights. I'm not, and you've
believed it though. You said something that hauled to when
of our coworkers last week. I don't remember what it was,
but I was like, Shelby, that's a lie, and like
it took you a second to be like, I don't
think so, No, it definitely is.

Speaker 2 (06:43):
I think it was like maybe that you're like bad
at parking or something. It's like something like kind of.

Speaker 1 (06:47):
Dune, yeah, which is also like not the case.

Speaker 3 (06:50):
I don't know.

Speaker 2 (06:50):
It probably was like, oh, John doesn't know how to
back up if he doesn't have a backup camera.

Speaker 1 (06:55):
This is my first car with a backup camera. I'm
just saying, yeah, but you say those things and you
say it's so like truthfully, I think the part problem
is you believe it and then people are actually thinking.
I'm like, no, that's not desid the case.

Speaker 2 (07:06):
Yeah, but I said something on Friday about I don't
remember what it was. I was like, oh, yeah, John
hates this, and then I was like so off the wall.
My friend Ravend was like, what are you talking about?
And then I was like, I don't I don't think
that's true. I make up lies about them all the time.

Speaker 1 (07:17):
Yeah, thank you for that.

Speaker 2 (07:19):
But it's like a new found thing because like, for
a long time I thought that a lot of the
things I thought were true.

Speaker 1 (07:24):
Well, I'm glad at least at least you thought the
lies are true. As long as that's the case, that's all. Yeah,
I mean yeah, speaking of lies and truths, I want
to get to this next. Do you wear deodorant when
you're home alone? Nine ninety three three eight. The text
They did this new study. The results might surprise you.
