So over the weekend, Vegas turned into the ultimate music
playground and that's because of our Iheartrating Music Festival.

Speaker 2 (00:12):
It led up to Tmobi Arena. It looked phenomenal.

Speaker 3 (00:14):
They are like, uh, what I was gonna say, bouncy balls.
They were beach balls. They're beach balls. They were like
being thrown everywhere. But he was having good time. Uh
and yeah, So basically they're just people were just treating
familiar music. Ry Harry a local jay at cheron Room
five at Sheeron. Actually he was a one man show
kind of show.

Speaker 2 (00:33):
Uh.

Speaker 3 (00:34):
He had his guitar, a lout petal and he was
just like playing together songs in front of the audience.

Speaker 2 (00:37):
And it looks so cool.

Speaker 1 (00:39):
Yeah, he's the best.

Speaker 2 (00:40):
Yes, dun the job? Would you it's mean.

Speaker 3 (00:56):
Up?

Speaker 2 (00:57):
Would you say?

Speaker 1 (01:02):
Everybody swaying back and forth? Yeah, heard's amazing.

Speaker 3 (01:08):
He's so also jelly roll, he was so cool. He
was like a human jukebox. I guess you would say so.
He played Nickelback, Laard Skinner, dm DMX suit Dog was Glefa,
Miley Cyrus it was just so good, and he was
just going through like song and song and song was
so good. And Tammac Gray she got pretty personal. She
was just talking about like her song that changed your life.
And then I mean Dip Blow made it feel like

(01:29):
you were literally in Vegas with his set, and then
because I.

Speaker 2 (01:32):
Mean you were.

Speaker 3 (01:33):
And then Glorilla she closes up the festival, and I
love Lorilla. Great getting writing music, if you're if you're
that girl, girl.

Speaker 2 (01:39):
You get it.

Speaker 3 (01:40):
And over the week, over the sorry the weekend, the
Taylor Swift drops The Life of a Showgirl theaters nationwide.
They're going to screen the music video for the first single,
which is the Fate of Ophelia. So she shared this
on social media. She said, quote, I hereby invite you
to a Dazzling souore, the official release party of a
Show Girl October third through fifth.

Speaker 2 (01:59):
Only in cinema.

Speaker 3 (02:00):
You'll get to see the exclusive behind the scenes footage
and lyric videos from my new album. Dancing is optional,
but very much encourage unquote. So first day ticket sales
top to fifteen million dollars, which outpace every twenty twenty
five film.

Speaker 2 (02:12):
So are We We? Are we surprising?

Speaker 3 (02:14):
Antsy Theaters reported that there it's their sixth highest day
of pre sales thanks to Showgirls. So i' mean pretty incredible.
And if I don't know about you, we all miss
Shit's Creek, right.

Speaker 2 (02:26):
Yeah. So Eugene Levey, he.

Speaker 3 (02:28):
Was talking about how his son, Dan Levey his heart
is still in the show, which like, I can't even
imagine why would it not be. So he said that
basically Dan Lovey has a kernel of an idea for
a reboot, and when as on net he was on
the Today Show, he said, quote, if Dan said that
he had a kernel of an idea for reboot, he
didn't lay it on me. I don't know what he

(02:48):
necessarily comes up with, unquote. So basically he admitted that
they just like they love the cast, they love the show,
they want to do something back together. The catches that
nobody's really come up with an idea yet and it's
going to be hard to level off, especially like some
people are like it's going to be a movie.

Speaker 2 (03:04):
I think I think a movie could be cool.

Speaker 3 (03:05):
But Eugene, when asked, also said, wow, that's a good Wow,
that's a good prediction.

Speaker 2 (03:11):
Wow.

Speaker 3 (03:12):
Anyway, I just I love them really for something to
watching to night now it's onnecause everybody's been watching The
Ravens or playing the Lions ABC. You go on that
on and ESPN, The Voices on the twenty It's is
on the twenty eighth.

Speaker 2 (03:22):
It's it's twenty eight season premiere.

Speaker 3 (03:25):
There we go on NBC and then trending Number one
is Black Rabbit that's on Netflix. Number two is gen
v that's on Prime, and the number three is The
Girlfriend that's also on Prime. People have been posting about
The Girlfriend though all weekend that I follow on Instagram,
So I definitely might watch it.

Speaker 2 (03:41):
Definitely might word it's on it here.

Speaker 1 (03:43):
Thanks as welcome. If it needs something to listen to,
you I got your thoughts. Share our podcast out today
talking about when your partner checks out the relationship. You
can listen why miss radio dot com. We have often
appreciate on this show that, especially for local governments, sometimes
it's best to just let you ignore things. Yeah, because
when you make something a big deal, it becomes a

(04:04):
bigger deal.

Speaker 2 (04:04):
Yeah, people are gonna come together. Yeah.

Speaker 1 (04:06):
To Iowa, we go the small town of jess Up,
which is just outside Des Moines. They now have a
zero tolerance policy. Towards te paening houses. Oh now, is
t pen houses a pay in the ass, no doubt,
No doubt. Will saying it was zero tolerance policy stop
high school boys mainly from te ping houses. Absolutely not.

(04:26):
In fact, I think they'll find more creative ways to
do it. Maybe just they hang up whole rows of
toilet paper instead of you know, it's spreading it out,
aything like that?

Speaker 3 (04:34):
Is it happening that often? They have to like put
out a little press release like.

Speaker 1 (04:37):
Well, so it gets bad. So they announced on Friday's
band teping Officially they defined it as quote, using toilet
paper to decorate homes, trees or other structures.

Speaker 3 (04:49):
They would hate mischief night and passing on Betnor like
that would be their nightmare.

Speaker 1 (04:52):
In fact, you could define it too. They're saying there's
now a zero tolerance policy. Perpetrators will be arrested in
charge with things like trespassing, chrome, mischief, illegal dumping.

Speaker 3 (05:01):
In this early condent, it's like a fourteen year old,
It's like hey, yeah, I mean yeah, because like on
Mischief nine and pass you know, everybody on Vetnor, it's
like insane the amount of twilve papering that they do.

Speaker 1 (05:12):
Yeah, I mean, it's on the streets tailors all the time.

Speaker 2 (05:15):
I think it truly is.

Speaker 1 (05:16):
I know I had friends who would do it when
they was going to rain, which that to me is
rest Yeah. Uh, the those sense of looking at fines
and community service.

Speaker 3 (05:25):
But it's really you're just like charging the parents. I
mean I get granted, yes, is it nice no, But
if it's a traditional thing, that's stifinitely Yeah.

Speaker 1 (05:32):
It's just I mean I think it's one of those
things where will that really curb anything?

Speaker 2 (05:36):
Probably not think so.

Speaker 1 (05:37):
I mean, now it's more of a challenge.

Speaker 3 (05:38):
Don't really the parents are gonna have to pay for
even more stuff because like their kids just did something
in high school that they're just being jerks and just
make the kids go go clean it up and then
make them like pick up trash in the side of
the road for a little bit.

Speaker 1 (05:49):
I also don't think a t ping charge is enough
to be like, oh, this is gonna run the rest
of my life. I really don't think that. Asking me like, oh,
you can't get in your college because you're tepeed when
you're thirteen years.

Speaker 2 (05:56):
Old, really like I think that's a little dramatic, But
there we go.

Speaker 1 (05:59):
Let me hit to this for you Monday. If you
do these things of money, you are old at school.
Give me about three minutes. Internsjohn in your morning show.

Speaker 2 (06:06):
That's true at iHeartRadio.
