Speaker 1 (00:01):
Everything celebrity sauce has or entertainment report what you have
for us?

Speaker 2 (00:04):
So more details have emerged about the deal that Taylor
Swift made with AMC Theaters to be the exclusive distributor
of the official release Party of A Showgirl. So she
will earn fifty two percent of the box office, leaving
forty eight percent to AMC from sales of the twelve
dollars tickets plus fees and of course concession. So the
Official Release Party of A show Girl is projected to

(00:26):
earn as much as forty five million dollars, meaning at
least twenty three eight million in one weekend for Taylor,
which is wild. So each AMC theater will run at
least four springs per day without trailers, so make sure
that you'll arrive on time because again, no trailers. It's
an eighty nine minute movie and it features the premiere
of the Fate of Ophelia music video and clips from

(00:48):
behind the scenes, plus lyric videos for each track on
the album, with Taylor describing the background and inspiration for
each song. Also, the announcement of the official release party
of A Showgirl has caused a movie to shift dates,
so the movie grow starting the new Harry Potter series actors,
so Dominic McLaughlin and Nick Frost. It was supposed to

(01:10):
come out October third, Now it will be October seventeenth,
So I get it. Nobody wants gonna be with Taylor
now it is what it is. Disney is increasing the
price of Disney Plus again. The plan with ADS is
going up to eleven ninety nine from ninety nine, and
no ADS premium plan is going from fifteen ninety nine
to eighteen ninety nine, and that will be happening on
October twenty first. So bundle price is going up as well.

(01:32):
So Hulu Disney Plus bundle is going to twelve ninety nine,
and then Disney Hulu and ESPN bundle is jumping to
nineteen nine nine. So yeah, if you don't want an ADS,
it's twenty nine ninety nine. I mean, I guess you
go a lot, but I feel like, still, you got
to buy so many add ons, So I just don't
have any of it because whatever, And remember the kiss

(01:53):
cam the couple if you will, from that cold Play cutsert.

Speaker 1 (01:56):
How can you forget?

Speaker 2 (01:57):
So this sources close to Kristin Cabot, the woman that's
part of the Dua says that it's not what you think.
So they are saying that, you know, Kristen was already
divorcing her husband and says that Kristen Andy, you know,
had an excellent work working relationship, a great friendship, and
that there was no affair. It was inappropriate to be
hugging your boss at a concert, and she access for

(02:18):
responsibility for it. But the scandal, the downfalls lost of
the job, is all unfair. Unquote.

Speaker 1 (02:22):
I thought it looked like they're like grinding.

Speaker 2 (02:24):
On each other.

Speaker 1 (02:24):
It's gonna say, also, weird to come out now it's
been like two months.

Speaker 2 (02:27):
Yes, so so Kristin officially fell for divorce August thirteenth,
But basically Andy's wife, Meghan, has left the family home
and she's been living at their mansion in Maine.

Speaker 1 (02:38):
So casual.

Speaker 2 (02:40):
Uh yeah, if you're like for someone to watch to night,
we got Survivor on CBS, the second season premiere of
The Golden Bachelor's on ABC, America's Got Talents on NBC,
and then Slow Horses is out today on Apple TV Plus.
It's like a British thriller with a dysfunctional team and
an obnoxious boss and it sounds hilarious as really really
good ratings though on Ron Tomino's and everything.

Speaker 1 (02:58):
Yeah, my parents love it. Yeah if they say, is
an amazing show. So thank you, Sausoin. If you need
something to listen to you and your thoughts, Shour podcasts
out talking about the friend group Dynamics. You can listen
why miss radio dot com. I just sent you guys
at links. You can see these photos. But we owned
shout from controversy on the show. We're big fans of
the federal duck stamp competition. Every year there's a competition

(03:20):
federally to paint duck stamps, and it's been rocked by
controversy and people are furious. So the winner of this
year's contest for the twenty twenty six federal duck stamp,
yes they paint ducks. It's a guy by name of
James hot Midt Least from Minnesota.

Speaker 2 (03:37):
Okay.

Speaker 1 (03:37):
This is seventh time winning the duck stamp contest. He
went in nineteen ninety, ninety five, ninety nine, twenty eleven,
twenty seventeen, twenty twenty two, and twenty twenty six. Yes,
so the reason there's gaps in those years because he
only can win yeah, wait three years before you can
submit again. Okay, okay, But he has two brothers who
also are in the contest, So essentially, for the last

(04:02):
thirty years, these three brothers have won basically every single year.
And the controversy is also brewing because I guess the
judging's done is like a blind I get it, duck hunting,
plant words, but judging with the judges don't know who's
paintings who's But because those brothers' style is so well known,
people are complaining, saying it's unfair. I'm gonna the audio

(04:22):
of this guy who's broken down the competition and he is.
He's peeved.

Speaker 3 (04:25):
The National Duckstamp competition of twenty twenty five this year
absolutely rigged.

Speaker 1 (04:29):
The same guy won.

Speaker 3 (04:31):
Well, honestly, I look through most of the entries and
absolutely phenomenal, beautiful looking skies, beautiful looking grass reads.

Speaker 1 (04:40):
Sure, and this guy won that just drew three.

Speaker 3 (04:43):
Ducks, apparently does it every single year. He was Shraw's
three ducks a horrible travesty. The judges are one hundred
percent paid for by this guy, and do it now.

Speaker 2 (04:54):
So you didn't mention it was. It's held in Laurel
Maryland as the National Wildlife Visitor Center.

Speaker 1 (04:59):
Yeah, we missed it. It is a crazy thought that
the winning stamp would have ducks on it in the
ducks stamp competition.

Speaker 2 (05:07):
But also do they have to fizzily paint it.

Speaker 1 (05:09):
There or do they bring it? I think you bring it?

Speaker 2 (05:11):
So how do you know that, like just one persons
not painting these ducks, because if it's the same exact style.

Speaker 1 (05:17):
I can't imagine.

Speaker 2 (05:19):
Are you every single st It's like three brothers and
they all pay exactly the same. There's just no way are.

Speaker 1 (05:26):
You suggesting our most sacred competition, the federal Dutch Minnesotans
are lying hell the Maryland.

Speaker 2 (05:31):
And why are so many Minnesotans that keep winning? Also
because in the second place.

Speaker 1 (05:35):
We buy ducks in Minnesota.

Speaker 2 (05:37):
We got a lot. We got a lot of ducks.

Speaker 1 (05:39):
What are you pointing at Pike? I'm putting at the
fire station. Okay, okay, there's more ducks there.

Speaker 2 (05:46):
I don't know. The fire station where I grew up.
There's a pond behind it. You guys are missing out well.
And you also had a pet duck.

Speaker 3 (05:52):
That's where Taco loved.

Speaker 2 (05:53):
Was that the fire station at the station pond there is.

Speaker 1 (05:58):
Actually we're hoping that they get to the bottom of
this because it is if there is.

Speaker 2 (06:02):
We tried like reach out to your people and be like, hey,
can you so embarrassing.

Speaker 1 (06:05):
Because I wanted to win so Minnesota. We need victories cheating,
is that what you're saying? So long as benefat people,
I'm going for. Yeah.

Speaker 2 (06:13):
I think that we bring the brothers here and we
make them all three painted ducks.

Speaker 1 (06:17):
Okay, yes, okay. We don't have a budget for the
studio radio.

Speaker 2 (06:24):
Hopefully that's fair because they want to be part of something.

Speaker 1 (06:26):
You want to out there tiktoks them up. Why miss
radio dot com you defund themselves. I don't disagree. Defend,
defend the honor.

Speaker 2 (06:33):
Of the We are good painters and we win this
duck stamp.

Speaker 1 (06:37):
It's a duck stamp competition with paint ducks. It's hilarious.
So that's what we do. Love it. I think that'd
be on the airways this Wednesday. Did they not let
me get this next? Though? Cotheen season is coming. Here's
what you need to know. Give me just under three
minutes in John in your morning show.
