seven nine nine five four six A one. Today's show
will be, in a word, a disaster because last night
was our sold out hot night IFI jingle Ball present
by Capital One, certainly the longest show I'm history jingle Ball.
So show started seven thirty. Now you have stage rounds

(00:47):
eleven fifty three. I think it's the exact time. But
was a hell of a night. So if you were
at jingle Ball last night, you're probably still up and
be honest with you. Yes, Sauce, how is your evening?

Speaker 3 (00:59):
It was so much fun? Oh my gosh, you want
to tell you everything I did? Okayah, start to finish okay, Well,
my friend Davy came to my makeup was so Okay, okay,
now I don't know.

Speaker 2 (01:13):
I'm sorry.

Speaker 3 (01:14):
Yeah, Davy do I make just satch to color beauty.
He is phenomenal if you want to check about. I
love him so much. But seriously, he uh beat my
face and when I say beat my face, like in
the good way, like I looked amazing. Anyway, not to
hype myself up, but I did all right. So anyway,
other than that, it was a really fun night. I
loved that we got to hang out with Alex Warren

(01:36):
Rose let me know about the what was.

Speaker 4 (01:39):
That called the Capital one Artist Session.

Speaker 3 (01:41):
The Capital one Artist Session she let me go to
because I had an interview during his uh stage performance,
and so that was really nice because then she let
me meet.

Speaker 4 (01:49):
Him and I was like, hey, come out here. Yeah.
It was really let's chitty chat.

Speaker 3 (01:55):
Yeah, and then we also got to interview him John
and I like a thirty minutes later maybe.

Speaker 4 (01:58):
But it was. It was really nice. He's so oh.
I love him so much.

Speaker 3 (02:00):
I've been in a big fan for a few years,
so I was fangirling a bit.

Speaker 4 (02:04):
And then I say, with.

Speaker 2 (02:05):
Him too it he doesn't quite seem to get how
popular he is.

Speaker 5 (02:08):
Oh, I know, well he was saying that, like last
year he was in the audience, yes, and now he's
on the stage.

Speaker 4 (02:16):
He's like, it's so cool, noous.

Speaker 2 (02:18):
It's like ordinary legitimate probably is one of the top
ten songs the last ten years as far as popularity. Like, dude,
that song. It's like, yeah, you've changed lives, guys.

Speaker 3 (02:25):
I was like, sir, I said a maid that this
would be a song on the hear Yeah you.

Speaker 4 (02:29):
Did, you did? He was like, you just did.

Speaker 3 (02:32):
Cresier things have happened. Miles smith Hill also have been
a huge fan of for quite some time, so getting
to meet him in person finally was amazing. Also, I
know he's like a fellow Gemini, so Mabe were like,
I'm a little biased here, but I think we could
be best friends.

Speaker 4 (02:46):
Yeah he uh, he thought was hilarious. I hate that.
I hate that free John, but.

Speaker 2 (02:50):
We'll play the ambulator because he used to work retail
and I had asked him if he stole anything, and
so goes. I used to steal a toilet paper and
like as long as singer saying wait yeah, stopped.

Speaker 4 (03:02):
Like, h what do you mean I smell good?

Speaker 3 (03:04):
Which, like anyone who comments that.

Speaker 4 (03:07):
That is nice all right.

Speaker 3 (03:08):
I had some made them laugh because I was like, oh,
that's from Harry Potter, right, Hogwarts? Yes, I don't, I
don't remember. I was talking about something so Arsenal, Yeah,
Arsenal is that that soccer?

Speaker 2 (03:20):
Soccer? Yeah?

Speaker 3 (03:21):
Because John was talking about touchdowns for their football and
I was like, oh.

Speaker 4 (03:24):
Yeah, goal.

Speaker 2 (03:25):
It's because I went to Manchester night game they lost
by a touchdown, which they lost like six goals? Was
that anyway?

Speaker 3 (03:30):
And he started talking about his team and I was like, oh.
I was like, are you talking about Harry Potter like
Harry Potter character?

Speaker 4 (03:36):
And then I don't know. It was really cool night.
And then at the very end of the night.

Speaker 3 (03:40):
Oh, also my parents for my dad's birthday, I gave
them tickets and their friends went. Everyone's talking about how
fun the couple was around them, and it was my parents.
So I was like, that's cool that they're having fun.

Speaker 2 (03:50):
I gave a friend ticket and she's like, Sausa's parents
are having a great time.

Speaker 3 (03:54):
I was like, everybody was talking about how much fun
my parents were having. I was like, that's cool because
like I didn't know that they didn't you and try
to see me, which is crazy.

Speaker 4 (04:01):
Just candy did I lied? Sorry? Also met Michael.

Speaker 3 (04:04):
He won three hundred dollars and cool swack bag and
he was great.

Speaker 4 (04:08):
And then where was I going with that?

Speaker 3 (04:10):
Oh oh besides my parents like think being so proud
of me, said me the nicest sacks and everything. That
was cool. Thanks, thanks guys proud. Finally, anyway, ending the
show with Nelly, don't make me start the day after
drinkle Ball, Dude, I had an hour sleep. I couldn't sleep.
But Nellie bringing us all on stage was so cool
because like baby Shelby was freaking out. She was like,
this is so cool, It's really cool. I was really
bummed and gets to tell him I read my pants.

(04:31):
The first time I read my pants was to drop jog.
You're going girl, so next time?

Speaker 4 (04:35):
Nice time.

Speaker 3 (04:36):
Yes, he just like his like his manager and tell me, Okay,
that's all I got. That's all right, and that's what
you miss sunkly.

Speaker 5 (04:46):
I had a great time yesterday. The free show pre
show was so much fun. I met some really awesome listeners.
I met a guy named Earl from Harrisburg. He like
drove four hours to come here. He was the nicest person.
He said that he's been listening for very, very long.
He also brought up yeah, yeah, he brought up the

(05:09):
the song that I made for Cane back in the day,
the oops I kicked it again and he's like, you're
gonna have to play that. But it was so much fun.
And then did the Capitown Artist session. Alex Warren is
literally the nicest human. He is so kind, so talented,
and so funny. Like I just I just adore him,
protect him at all costs. And the show was just

(05:31):
so much fun. I got to watch actually a little
bit more than I normally do this year, so I
got to see like shine Down was incredible.

Speaker 3 (05:39):
Olivia Dean, I she's so she's so good.

Speaker 4 (05:45):
I'm obsessed with her.

Speaker 5 (05:46):
She literally like you could feel just like her positive
energy radiating off the stage.

Speaker 4 (05:52):
That was she was incredible. Zara Larson.

Speaker 5 (05:55):
I was so excited to see her and she did
not disappoint.

Speaker 4 (05:57):
She was phenomenal. It was so much fun.

Speaker 5 (06:01):
Also, just like the backstage antics is just it's always
so much fun.

Speaker 4 (06:05):
It is. It's so fun.

Speaker 2 (06:06):
Well to the pre show as well. The rule always
is if you're on the show, you tell us why.
So we met people stick out, we met the one
woman who she called in I think that was why
I was your.

Speaker 4 (06:14):
Coworker fire conditioner and she was the one.

Speaker 2 (06:17):
Hr and her coworker was on like a work trip
and he tried to write off or have reimbursed for
ordering adult films to the room and then Magnum condoms.
Then there was the woman who called him because she
found out her dad was cheating and then told her
mom and mom goes, it's okay, I've been cheating. Mom
didn't know how they want tickets.

Speaker 5 (06:35):
That was like, it was so funny because she's like,
I'm the one that did this, and her mom was
stating right there, She's like, don't tell me, and.

Speaker 3 (06:41):
I don't tell my mom. I was like, I was like,
why would I tell her mom? And then she's like
she's right there.

Speaker 2 (06:44):
I was like, oh yeah, I was like your mother
was I don't think mom cares? Girl.

Speaker 5 (06:48):
I was like, wow, that was that was that was
I would tell her. Also, Haven Madison at the Free
Show pre show.

Speaker 4 (06:54):
I love her. She was so good.

Speaker 5 (06:57):
She also complimented me on my dress, so I kind
of said, I just love her.

Speaker 3 (07:01):
She also said can you She's like, you'll see me
in the crowd. Like like, I'm a nice person if
you want to come to high it.

Speaker 5 (07:07):
I was like, oh my god, you're so sweet, so sweet,
and she like I was listening to her and I
was like, oh, she's so talented.

Speaker 2 (07:15):
It was a fun time.

Speaker 3 (07:16):
Next favorite part besides like getting to John try to
drop it alone and get his eagle on last name.

Speaker 4 (07:23):
Didn't get all the way down. You were really really.

Speaker 2 (07:26):
Too, I think, I mean so honestly that Nelly thinks.
So Nelly did a couple of shows and he invited
the Detroit Marin show Mojo We Love out on stage,
and then I saw that two weeks ago and then
like some shows, he just didn't do it for whatever reason.
It's like, okay, maybe if like if I put together
like the best interview in my life, he'll and b
us out. So the interview went down and like Nelly,

(07:47):
the man's from East Saint Louis and like that's a
rough talent and they don't play like they just like
I think some nice people think Nelly, oh he's got
Nelly doesn't like he's a big dude. It's very serious
to you, but also like you forget get how much
that man's accomplished. He's played two Super Bowls, he's got
three Grammys, he's still millions.

Speaker 4 (08:05):
It's amazing.

Speaker 2 (08:05):
He's like he'll be in the Hall of Fame whenever
they decided to put m in the legitimately. And so
we get the interview and like killed it, probably best
of my life. And then so we're getting ready to
go on stage and his managers like, hey, I guess
your number in your email. I was like, yeah, whatever, sure,
and he's like, hey, Nelly wants to bring you guys
on stage. It's like, oh, we got called to the stage. Baby.

(08:27):
That was pretty cool. For just a dream that's like
one of my favorite songs probably of all time. And
then to be on stage and Nelly for that was like,
that's pretty that's a pretty top.

Speaker 5 (08:34):
It was really fun. Just like he also was very nice.
He like hugged every single one of us. He went
down the line and hugged every single person.

Speaker 2 (08:41):
So I was like, well, in the interview, which will
play later, he's talking about his wife. I was like,
I know.

Speaker 4 (08:48):
I was like.

Speaker 5 (08:50):
We talked about it when they like we're having their
baby and stuff. I was like, ah, yeah, I also
love that. He was just so like hash you have
my wife.

Speaker 2 (08:57):
I remember, one of the most beautiful women in the.

Speaker 4 (08:59):
World literally and talented.

Speaker 2 (09:01):
Oh my god. Yeah.

Speaker 3 (09:02):
Also, my parents like wanted they like, beside Jelly Roll,
the other person that I want to see so bally
was Nelly. And my mom was like, we're not leaving.
Our friend left like an hourlier. They're like, no, We're
sitting here for Nelly. And then I was like all right.
I was like, my mom will know that their phone
was going to die. So I also didn't know at
first if my parents got home or not, which is
trust me out. But literally my I was like, okay,
well we were at Stae with Nelly. My mom was like, okay,

(09:23):
so you're introing him and I was like, no, going
on stage. And then she's like, I don't have to say.

Speaker 5 (09:27):
What she said was well, I didn't get back to
hotel until two thirty. I was very excited you decided
to go out for a drink afterwards, which was more
than one.

Speaker 3 (09:36):
Honestly, not all heroes work because I don't know how
you're here. I would be I would be sleeping. I Also,
I barely made it in this morning and I got
back to the hotel. What time, what what was like
one o'clock one?

Speaker 2 (09:47):
Yeah, I was like, man, let me go real quick
in Lesbie Jessica, good morning a girl. What are we
doing for a Wednesday? I'm driving from where to where.

Speaker 6 (10:03):
I'm leaving Lusby, Maryland heading into Annapolis.

Speaker 2 (10:07):
Oh girl, how long is that commute?

Speaker 6 (10:10):
About an hour ahead?

Speaker 4 (10:11):
Oh god?

Speaker 2 (10:12):
What's it on bad day?

Speaker 7 (10:16):
Two hours?

Speaker 2 (10:17):
Okay, that's that's a lot. Here's it being a good day,
jess Like, I get you my man shirt and coffee
for listening.

Speaker 4 (10:24):
Absolutely.

Speaker 2 (10:27):
One second, guy information Rose has the three things you
need to come on. What you got for us?

Speaker 5 (10:31):
We're going to talk about TSA guidelines for packing for
the holidays.

Speaker 2 (10:35):
First, Olivia Dean an intern Johnny Marshow I mean she
opened the show yesterday or sold out DC jingle Ball
percent like Capital one Olivia Dean And she is as
radiant and as blowing as she appears on video and
on side. I think she floated just.

Speaker 5 (10:49):
Like she like she made me so happy just by sorry, no, no,
be ready, don't know. Oh my gosh, she just made
me like her smile was so infectious and she was
just like you could tell she was just so genuinely
happy to.

Speaker 3 (11:04):
Ye, and she sounds exactly like Harman What We Play,
which I really wow.

Speaker 2 (11:11):
If you want to see video of her performance, Celivi
Dean by Way, it's on the Instagram at YMS Radio
US to this from the City.

Speaker 1 (11:18):
That Changes the World, Peers Rose with three things you
need to know.

Speaker 5 (11:22):
For so over eight million travelers are expected to fly
to their holiday destinations. This is between December twentieth and January.

Speaker 4 (11:30):
First, if you are going to.

Speaker 5 (11:32):
Be packing gifts or like holiday items, make sure you
are paying attention to the TSA guideline. So TSA recommends
gift bags instead of wrapping presents, just in case they
need to open it for inspection. It would really suck
to have a really nice rap president and then they
got to open it up. Electronics, if it's like a
bigger thing, laptop, gaming system, stuff like that, they're gonna.

Speaker 4 (11:52):
Most likely have to take it out of place. It
in its own bind.

Speaker 5 (11:55):
Bake goods are fine since they're solids other foods. If
you can spill it, spread its, spray, pump it, or
pour it. Make sure it's only three point four ounces.
If you are packing a snow globe, by the way,
it cannot have more than.

Speaker 4 (12:09):
Three point four ounces of liquid inside. They will they
will splag that.

Speaker 5 (12:13):
So I mean, just like I said, make sure you're
double checking, play it safe, check out the TSA's what
can I bring features stuff like that?

Speaker 4 (12:19):
Are you guys okay?

Speaker 3 (12:20):
Let's just say boff it, bop.

Speaker 2 (12:24):
It, pull it?

Speaker 1 (12:25):
Does it?

Speaker 4 (12:25):
Pull it? Okay?

Speaker 5 (12:26):
So Maryland will create a commission to study slavery reparations
after lawmakers voted yesterday to override a veto by Governor
Wes Moore More veto the bill in May, saying enough
that he had been done and it was time to
focus on actual work for Democratic lawmakers, who control both chambers,
decided the commission it was needed. So the bill outlines
potential reparations, including official apologies, money payment, property tax breaks,

(12:48):
help with home down payments, business incentives, childcare de forgiveness,
and college tuition waivers. And it's another time to buy
a powerball tickets because it did roll over.

Speaker 4 (13:01):
There was no grand prize winner on Monday night.

Speaker 5 (13:03):
So now that jackpot is one point two five billion dollars.

Speaker 4 (13:08):
The drawing is tonight.

Speaker 5 (13:10):
That cash option it's five hundred and seventy two point
one million dollars.

Speaker 4 (13:16):
He keeps buying us ticket. She's like, Babe, i' must
to retire us.

Speaker 5 (13:22):
If you get a Powerball ticket for Christmas, that's what
that's what's gonna be most likely. I wrote, those are
the three things you need to know today. Just just
slitch your profits. If you went he gros you welcome.

Speaker 2 (13:32):
My text and shows amazing last night. Then I went
to work at two am.

Speaker 4 (13:35):
My god, it.

Speaker 2 (13:39):
Was I mean, it was legitimately want to be here
the longest of all time. Also I shout Max Down
who went on stage for a couple of things. So
he played the pre show free show, brought to my
matches warehouse, and then he did his harmonica and sang
on stage.

Speaker 4 (13:52):
Yeah, he's so talented, and he was.

Speaker 2 (13:54):
He was a little bit I'm not saying too much,
but a little apprehends might do. When we announce you
for the pre show, you go warri bye, pum like
yeah and then yeah, and they went crazy for him
on stage sho. So hopefully he comes back to the
to the big stage. And then of course Alex Horn
and Jellyroll doing Bloodline together I think the third time
they'd done so far, which is crazy. So anything you

(14:18):
missed from what was our sold out DC jingle Ball
present by Capital One. It's up on the Instagram at
YMS Radio. I legitimly don't know how we top it
next year, don't. I don't.

Speaker 4 (14:28):
From the artists really hard.

Speaker 2 (14:30):
Yeah, to the moments, to the hits and just kind
of everything fell into place. And again the day before
we announced the show, Sauce and I read at dinner
with Cruise around the stage and he's like, yeah, we
said Olivia Dean. I was like, okay. I was like,
and then she started a bubble like an hour later. Yeah, legitimly,
so it was a crazy, crazy eating Anything you miss
from jingle I'll get the instagram. At YMS Radio, it's

(14:51):
intern Johnny Morning Show, Taylor Now and everything a celebrity.
Sauce has her entertainment of part coming next. What you
got for us?

Speaker 3 (14:57):
Are we talking everything that went down at jingle Ball
last night?

Speaker 2 (14:59):
Hang on? I don't want to steal the historic new Sauce,
I know the celebrity news. But today Rezzie turns thirteen,
So Ressie, happy thirteenth birthday. My goodness. The Big Old
One three appreciates you listening. If you came out last
night to our sold out DC jingle Ball Present by
Capital One. You're probably dragging a little bit. It was
a long night, but certainly the biggest jingle ball in

(15:22):
DC history. Alex More and Jelly Rowl, tons of photos,
tons of video up, all the behind the scenes as
well the pre show Free show, Max McNown hey, Mass
and Alexander Stewart. But I was kind of bully by
all three of them. You're all Rightedy, really good, anthy
and missed tons of stuff on the Instagram at YMS Radio.
Let's do this. Everything is celebrity sauce has an ritannent

(15:48):
pork jeff Us.

Speaker 3 (15:49):
Okay, So if you miss our Hot nine five jingle
Ball Present by Capital One, it was phenomenal. I know
we're going to talk about it all day, and I
will say I don't care because it was the best ever.
So if you missed it, let me catch you up.
Eligadean opened the show. She was phenomenal. Her energy just
radia throughout Capital One Arena and it was just so cool.
Alice Warren actually brought Jelly roll allan stage. I believe

(16:10):
that's the third time that they've actually performed Bloodline together
and it was just so good.

Speaker 2 (16:16):
Well, they looked like kids. They were like giddy kids,
like hanging with their buddies and like they're like it
was pretty cool to see.

Speaker 3 (16:22):
It was really cool. I'm so glad we got to
actually see that. But Sara Larsen, it was her birthday
yesterday and her her backup dancers. They're all wearing birthday
hats and she brought a girl named Grace on stage
to do Latch Lifeless with her and it was just
so so FUNHWN phenomenal.

Speaker 4 (16:40):
No, there was fire. It was awful. It was so cool.

Speaker 3 (16:44):
They're like watch out for the pyro whatever and I
was like okay, and.

Speaker 4 (16:47):
I was like, anyway, I'm about to lose the voice.
I'm sorry.

Speaker 3 (16:51):
But Miles Smith, I made him laugh. So I think
that helped with his set, not that he needed it.

Speaker 2 (16:56):
But yeah, that's probably It's.

Speaker 4 (17:00):
Held me is. I'm a huge man. He's so he's
so challenged.

Speaker 2 (17:03):
But Miles, and sometimes you know when artists came into
the interview room, it's like, yeah, they've been rushed around
doing sound check and this, and that's they they look
like they've been rushed around. He came in almost floating
with a big old smile on his face, like chilling,
Golden Retriever energy, like he's very happy to be here.

Speaker 3 (17:17):
I would say Gemini energy, John, but thank you?

Speaker 2 (17:20):
Yeah, would you say?

Speaker 3 (17:22):
I would say that his birthday June third, so I
get it. Yeah anyway, baby, all good. Sorry, he did
a Pops the show last night at Kelly, So if
you're chilling on Tuesday night at Kelly Sports Bar, I'm
so jealous. I was Warren's up by as well matsa
X salade. I'm not gonna talk about everyone. I'm just

(17:43):
gonna end with Nelly, just like the entire show Dead.

Speaker 2 (17:45):
It was so we paused for a second though, because
you at our Christmas party for the office a couple
of weeks ago. Our friend Max is there and you
mentioned no shop. You did the same thing yesterday to
a JR.

Speaker 3 (17:59):
They said, do you just work in Atlanta? And I
was like maybe, and they're like, yeah, we met you
few years ago and Atlanta. I was like, I'm surprised
you recognized me and they're like wow. I was like,
I got a nice job, and they're like and then
uh Lee the dude, it was like.

Speaker 4 (18:12):
No, you didn't, And I was like, who's the same,
and I just.

Speaker 3 (18:15):
Walked away not dramatic show them I did get no job.

Speaker 4 (18:20):
It's cool.

Speaker 2 (18:21):
But Nelly at the end of the show, his managers like,
you guys want to come on stage just dream like,
uh so yeah, and I'll rap along if you want
me to.

Speaker 3 (18:29):
I was freaking out because I grew up just being
obsessed with Nelly and Ashanti, so I was like.

Speaker 2 (18:34):
Yeah, but he kept mentioning his wife. I was like,
your wife is legitily one of must be a first
name in the world out loud.

Speaker 3 (18:40):
Just say it out loud, because I just anyway, little
me and I was like, yes, we're getting married anyway,
I'm really about to lose my voice.

Speaker 4 (18:46):
Is cool.

Speaker 3 (18:46):
Netflix is expanding it's video podcast initihip, but this is
so cool. There's a new partnership of course with us
iHeart Media. They're bringing video episodes to like from popular
iHeart podcasts to the platform starting in January. So the
deal will have new episodes and select library content like
the Breakfast Club from Charlotte Maine's instagram is where I
found this yesterday and I was like, this is sick

(19:07):
my favorite murder. I'm big father podcast, good podcast, very
informative if you've passed the like ten minutes of them,
like yap in the beginning, which I'm like, I do
not care what you ate for dinner about your cats.
I'm so sorry, Georgia, like you are so interesting, but
that your cats, I don't care.

Speaker 4 (19:21):
Anyway.

Speaker 3 (19:21):
There's a bunch of other ones up there too, but
they have a very sense of catalog. They will be
full video episodes hating Netflix. They're just trying to take
over YouTube, which like I get it, and also it's
cool like that you can just put it on and
then clean your house.

Speaker 4 (19:31):
You know, That's what I do anyway.

Speaker 3 (19:34):
And I've been trying to keep you up with the
Rob Reiner and his wife Michelle, you know, their murdering everything.
We talked about how Monday his son did get arrested,
so now we have a little bit more insight. So
we talked about how they were at Conan O'Brien's Christmas
party the night before and he was acting erradically, so
he got in a loud chatty match with his father
and he interrupted Bill Hayter, who told him that he

(19:57):
was having a private conversation, and next started storming off
and just kept glaring at everybody after that, and then
I told you how this is so sad. Their daughter
romy is the one who found them. She lives across
the street and she only went over there because massuse
showed up for an appointment and nobody was answering the door,
so the messuse called their daughter. I know every time

(20:17):
I talk about this area, coulchils.

Speaker 4 (20:18):
It's just so sad.

Speaker 3 (20:20):
Law enforcement sources say that they were already in Rick
and Mortis, so they do think that this probably happened
right after the party, which is just so so incredibly sad.
So Los Angeles County District Attorney Nathan Hawkman announced that
suspected murderer, which is their son again Nick, will be
charged with two counts of first gree murder, emphasizing that
the charges are due to special circumstances and multiple murders

(20:42):
and the special allegation that he used a dangerous weapon.
So he's thirty two years old. He is being now
held on a four million dollar bail. So I will
keep you updated. If you are looking for something to
watch night, Iheartrao jingle Ball, the one that went down
in New York City that will be on ABC tonight
if you want to relive it it is, We'll definitely
try to watch it. Survivors on CBS, doesn't charm Is

me Your Room Season five?

Speaker 4 (21:09):

and Edge Sharon opened the show. He's now one of

(21:35):
the biggest pop stars ever as a British man yourself.
When you get big in England, is ed put you
in a group chat like, Hey, welcome to Adele Harry Styles.
Ed doesn't have a phone.

Speaker 4 (21:46):
God is a letter.

Speaker 2 (21:47):
Get weird emo that he's high, but you know, yeah,
yeah he's emo. Yeah, Sharon, I've been trying that for
so long at Edgeharon dot com. Doesn't work. I read
somewhere that you used to work in retail. How much
of a disaster was that? I was sixteen, it was
my first job. It really cut me out for life,

(22:10):
you know, saying where's the pears? They're out of stock.
You know, it really gets you.

Speaker 8 (22:14):
Disappointing people on a Sunday, you know, really primed you
for this life.

Speaker 3 (22:18):
You're probably gonnat falling clothes now, Oh, absolutely, Yeah, we've
heard horror stories in the US.

Speaker 2 (22:23):
Retail workers have had people use the restroom, in the
trash can, the changing rooms, and yeah they happened. You
guys a proud you see, I was lucky. I was.

Speaker 8 (22:30):
They called it a fruit and vegg specialist. So all
I had was tomatoes and cucumbers. No, that wasn't got
bad place until what do you think? Like a weird
I wish I could make SUSA? Would you get free
food at the end of the day?

Speaker 3 (22:44):
Oh?

Speaker 2 (22:44):
Free?

Speaker 8 (22:45):
I mean, I don't know is legally free? But yeah,
I had a few apples.

Speaker 4 (22:53):
You still told.

Speaker 2 (22:55):
From where? What is confessional game?

Speaker 1 (22:57):
No?

Speaker 3 (22:57):
No, I'm sorry, I was still a girl and have money.
It was from the cafeteria you allowed.

Speaker 2 (23:05):
What have you stolen we've given hearts. I'm looking the
camera right now. There it is. You're the youngest of
how many siblings? I'm the youngest of two Lincoln. Yeah,
has your life changed at home now that you're a
big star? Are You're still the youngest and they still believe,
still believe? Do they at least ask the tickets for

(23:25):
shows and stuff?

Speaker 1 (23:26):
No?

Speaker 2 (23:27):
They they don't even ask. They just come. Yeah, how
cool is it Ben to obviously get big in England
and they come to the States and see your music
and traveled across. Yes, it's absolutely wild.

Speaker 8 (23:38):
I mean, you know, I grew up in England and
so you think the world is as big as England
for a long time, and then you get to travel
the world and see so much more, and to be
able to come over here and people love the music
is just a fantastic Well, what.

Speaker 2 (23:49):
A great time to be a young English musician. Again,
Ed obviously took off. You got Dell taking up Ella Henderson,
a bunch of Oliver. Absolutely, But I'm saying that there's
somebody that people you probably look up to, and now
you're playing arenas with people like you play with edgingle
Ball in New York. It's gotty crazy.

Speaker 8 (24:05):
Yeah, man, it's really awesome and I think, you know,
British music is so cool and if people have the
time to go and check it out, I definitely would
say go check it out. But I know only a
few of us managed to make it over here, so
I'm glad I'm one of them.

Speaker 2 (24:16):
Absolute England I did. I took my dad into a
Manchester game. You went to Manchester, they got spent. When
you lose by a touchdown in your football, like, that's
not ideal? We are We've got We've got to talk
about this.

Speaker 8 (24:33):
Who's your team a touchdown in my football?

Speaker 2 (24:37):
It's not great? Talk about it? Yeah, but you lose
over six goals now, like it wasn't like who's your
who's your sat? North London?

Speaker 9 (24:50):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (24:51):
Better stadiums better. It sounds like what character?

Speaker 4 (24:55):
Sorry? I mean I was like, wow, he's that.

Speaker 2 (24:58):
Go deliver Arsenal? Yeah, like get it?

Speaker 4 (25:02):
Sorry?

Speaker 2 (25:03):
Are you getting rolled all while here? There's Harry d
C it's in Florida. Oh absolutely not our car.

Speaker 4 (25:16):
It's fine, a fair car like.

Speaker 2 (25:19):
A no, but that's called car uhlilish translating right, because
obviously stargates and took off on tik tak. How cool
is to see you see the numbers on tech talk
see string numbers, but to see fans react to the
song starting that's got the one of the corest things. Yeah,

(25:39):
super dope. You know I played for ages.

Speaker 8 (25:40):
He used to play in pubs, looking at one miserable
guy in the corner drinking a Guinness and trying to
convince him I was going to be something, and now
it's like several thousands of freaky cool.

Speaker 1 (25:50):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (25:51):
I know they're not.

Speaker 8 (25:52):
Miserable, by the way, hopefully they're drinking guinness. So so yeah,
unless you're under twenty one, don't drink Ginnis. But yeah, definitely.

Speaker 2 (26:00):
Any big plans for twenty twenty six, Uh, sleep a
little bit more than this year.

Speaker 6 (26:04):
Yeah.

Speaker 8 (26:05):
We've done over one hundred and I think twenty shows
this year, so I'm fairly tired.

Speaker 2 (26:09):
But at the same time, more music, more fun, more life,
any clubs, maybe ed sharing or anything like that.

Speaker 8 (26:15):
If you're watching, he said, in case you're if you're
in your iPad time, I want to collab.

Speaker 2 (26:22):
Love you. What's been your favorite moments so far? I
was doing the jingle Ball tour. Oh, my favorite moments
so far? Oh, me and I don't know. Me and
Alex were already getting match in tattoo. So that's been
pretty fun. You got him, he's getting his now I've
just got mine. Yeah, I've got Pooky on my arm.
He's my Pooky, So yeah, I think I think that's fantastic.
Myles Smith a pleasure happy at jingle Ball. Can we

(26:44):
just se you next year? Thanks for coming Hot ninety
nine and five, you can relive everything that was are
sold out DC jingle Ball Present by Capital One last night,
tons of photos, tons of video on the Instagram and
TikTok at YMS Radio. Nelly on the show next, hang on,
It's not even a question. Last night was the biggest
jingle Ball in the history of our DC jingle Ball

(27:06):
Present by Capitol One, from the pre show free show
at Matches Warehouse to the actual show itself. When Olivia
Dean opens your show, he noticed me amazing and that
woman she's an angel. If you're not you don't believe
in angels, you should now because she is as sweet
and as out.

Speaker 4 (27:22):
Of perfect lovely. Yeah, she's so genuine, just.

Speaker 2 (27:26):
Like an amazing person. They had Alex Warren bringing out
Jelly Rowl mons x Conan Gray my god like like
his music, yeah, but then to see him perform it
live like, oh you sound somehow better live than you
do on the album, which is crazy crazy. If you
miss anything from last night, we have tons of photos,

(27:46):
tons of videos on the Instagram at Wymus Radios. AGR
was great too. That's a makeup because they're supposed to
play the show in twenty twenty one, I think the
COVID year, and then they got COVID like the week before,
had cancel. We're all bummed they killed last night. Had
a lot for his concerts. But the best part about
jingle Ball last night. The rule of the show is
if you're on the show for something crazy, you gotta

(28:07):
tell us why you're on the show. Absolutely and last
night with him about five minutes, we had somebody come
up to us who they called him last week for
they worked hr They had a coworker try to submit
reimbursement for a work trip, but they ordered adult film
to the room. They are meals for two people because
he was cheating on his wife and he tried to
get his protection paid for by the company. Wild That
was crazy. Then met a woman who found out that

(28:29):
her dad was cheating on her. Mom told mom. Mom goes, well,
that's okay, I'm cheating him too. That was but mom
didn't know why they write jingle ball literally don't tell.

Speaker 7 (28:39):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (28:40):
I was like, why are you saying that? And her
mom was worth there.

Speaker 2 (28:43):
Yeah, And probably the highlight think everybody was at the
end of the show. Nelly, He's done a bunch of
jingle balls. He did this with Detroit and then kind
of stopped the last couple of shows. He brought us
up on stage for just a Dream and that was
probably one of the coolest things.

Speaker 4 (28:55):
It was so awesome.

Speaker 2 (28:56):
Ever, a severitest post of the video. If you want
to see Nelly perform and most they are singing through
the medical last year, it's on our Instagram. He kills
it absolutely. At YMS Radio, Roways has the three Things
you Need to Know for your Wednesday.

Speaker 4 (29:08):
Come what you Got for us talking about Girl Scout
Cookies twenty twenty six.

Speaker 2 (29:11):
Plus Nelly on the show. First DC jingle artist Miles Smith.
It is intern Johnny Martin Show. If you missed our
anyth you with Miles Smith last night or sold out
DC jingle Ball present by Kapita one tuck everything from
soccer to Harry Potter to sauce, stealing toilet paper. You
can I hear the whole thing. It's up a ymssradio
dot com. Let's do this from the city that.

Speaker 1 (29:33):
Changes the world. Peers Rose with three things you need.

Speaker 2 (29:37):
To know for you Wednesday, Rose, what you got for us?

Speaker 5 (29:39):
So if you have some holiday travel plans, just fit
prepared because there is a round of bad weather that
is expected to cause, uh, just to mess the things
up really well.

Speaker 2 (29:50):
Weather.

Speaker 5 (29:50):
It's headed for the central and eastern parts of the
US during the middle and later part of this week,
bringing rain, fog, ice, and possibly more snow, and then
a surge of cold air will sweep in behind that storm.

Speaker 4 (30:02):
Now it comes as Triple.

Speaker 5 (30:03):
A expects record one hundred and twenty two point four
million people traveling, So just just keep prepared.

Speaker 2 (30:10):
For that, just in case.

Speaker 5 (30:11):
So, Maryland's Attorney General Anthony Brown and a coalition of
thirty four attorney generals have reached a settlement with Hyundai
and Kia for selling vehicles lacking industry standard anti theft technology.
The coalition says if the failure resulted in an epidemic
of car theft's enjoy writing that continues to threaten public safety.
So as part of the settlement, the automakers will provide
free ignition cylinder protectors, equip all future vehicles sold in

(30:35):
the US with standard anti theft technology, and pay up
to four point five million dollars in restitution to owners
whose cars were damage by Theeves and Girls.

Speaker 4 (30:45):
Scout season is coming, Scout, Girl, Scout.

Speaker 5 (30:48):
Okay, it's almost here. So the twenty twenty six lineup
shaking things up a little bit. The toastyas and Smores
have been retired after the twenty twenty five season.

Speaker 4 (30:57):
I know some people are upset about that.

Speaker 5 (30:58):
However, they do have a brand new Rocky Road inspired
cookies called Explore Moores, and it's it looks delicious, so
it's making its debut with a marshmallow and toasted almond
cream sandwich between cocoa cookie. I'm telling you this is
gonna be so good. Obviously, I know me too. I

(31:18):
was reading this and then I.

Speaker 4 (31:19):
Went and looked at the pictures of the cookies and
I was like, oh.

Speaker 2 (31:22):
No, I'm hungry.

Speaker 4 (31:34):
I'm hungry but like a girl.

Speaker 5 (31:35):
Same but obviously fan favorites like thin Minsimoah's Tagalongs Treuffles
are all sticking around. Cookie season kicks off in January.
They're gonna be so locally until April. There's online ordering
if you want to do that, But like support your
girl Scouts.

Speaker 4 (31:49):
We're tired, Okay, Rose. Those are the three things or
four things if you want to.

Speaker 2 (31:59):
That's a lot of mercy. The Beach Boys movie. Yeah,
So last night was basically a twenty four hour day.
I was sold out DC Jinglebole present by Capitol One.
It was probably the I mean legitally, the biggest thing
ball we've had, like artist wise and time wise, get
the whole thing, everything behind the scenes, Yams Radio. Nelly

(32:19):
on the show A Minute's First. She was an absolute
angel last night. Levi a Dean An Intern, Johnny backstage
and Mercedes Benz Eaby Lounge Hot ninety Jinga Ball with Nelly.
How are you, sir? I'm doing well. I got a
question Timid West Guys Minnesota, Missouri. We gotta be honest
about our hometowns. Saint Louis Pizza, your thoughts.

Speaker 10 (32:38):
I love, I love our pizza, man, but I understand
you know, my wife gives me about that pizza.

Speaker 2 (32:44):
Too, but oh can I say that? Well edited out,
it's about you're Nelly, all right. My brother just moved there,
had emos for the first time, and nobody told me,
y'all have your own pizza. I took the first bite
and I was like, this is different. Yeah it is.

Speaker 10 (32:54):
But well, I'm not a I don't eat red meat. Okay, sure,
but when I did terrorized the meat industry.

Speaker 2 (33:03):
Pause. But I used to get a lot. They got
a pizza called meat Lovers, and it's crazy.

Speaker 10 (33:09):
You know what I'm saying. It's like all of it.
But my wife she sees it. It's like cheese and crackers.

Speaker 2 (33:15):
It kind of it is though, unless I'm not trying
to hate, you might be like the first real entrepreneur
in hip hop. And let's go down the line Apple
Botom Jeans Yo, Hymn Juice Yo obviously had the first
double album with Sweatsuit. And now you got the Moonshine
as well, right, I mean Moonshine.

Speaker 10 (33:34):
Yeah, but that listen, I don't get a chance to
do any of this without the people that laid all
of that foundation before me.

Speaker 2 (33:40):
You know what I'm saying.

Speaker 10 (33:42):
And everything that you've named is are businesses that other
people in hip hop in this business has had before me. Sure,
and I just what'scept the moonshine. I don't know any
rapper with no moonshine, nothing like that. But yeah, that
was probably be the first. But you talk when you're
talking clothing line. Obviously you got food bool and you know,

(34:04):
you had Sean John and you had fat forms and
things like that. But yeah, Apple Bottoms is back now,
so I get a chance to rebirth that. Hell, yeah
that's good. And why moonshine? You drink that growing up
at all?

Speaker 6 (34:17):
Yes?

Speaker 2 (34:17):
And no, okay, I don't won't say too much. Okay.
In Minnesota, like we had a guy we called him
Big Dick cause he was a big guy be called
and that was always awkward to be like, we're getting yeah,
I'm lettle have it. Yeah, you ever knew if you
were a drinking and see sound, I mean that's the
problem moonshine. At least you got the legit stuff, so
we're never going to go. Yeah, I don't know to
compress it, but you might have had the most eclectic

(34:39):
to a collection of music. I mean a song for everything,
just a dream, great breakup song, Dilemma love song hot
in her first song, I ever touched your girls butt
to you her? Thank you for that permission? Oh yeah,
I mean, come Nelly, We've got a good Catholic boy
from Saint Paul, Minnesota. Absolutely you want to say it's
hot ninety niney five and here on stage night there
we go drop that. I got you. But you got
a bunch of country songs. Shoot though the two four

(35:00):
Georgia Lion songs, you cover, the Thomas Rhet song, you
have the Tim McGrath song. Could we see a Nelly
country album one day? And now we had country grammar? Yeah,
you can see country country.

Speaker 6 (35:09):
Well.

Speaker 10 (35:11):
Two years ago I dropped my first country I call
it a country inspired album, Heartland, which I want to
send a shout out to everybody that did support that.
Working on Heartland too as well. Yeah, brought back fgl
and a bunch of other people. Man, shout out to
my man Blanco, Brown Breeling and yeah man, the host
of people. So I did one, but hopefully we get

(35:34):
a chance to put this second one out real soon.

Speaker 2 (35:36):
I mean it's crazy. Country grammar is twenty five years old,
Like that's crazy. What's the core thing? As an artists.
When you have a song that the first comes out,
you know, twenty five years ago people react to it,
or now playing it twenty five years later, and people
still getting crazy when they hear the first beat of
one of your records, Well, twenty five years later, you
just thankful they still listening.

Speaker 10 (35:53):
Yeah, absolutely, you know what I mean. In the beginning,
it was all surprising. You don't really understand the severity
of it. Sure, but your fingers are crossed and you
just keep working and you keep thanking people as you go.
So yeah, to be here celebrating that part is amazing.

Speaker 2 (36:10):
Back in the day, MTV used to have the rock
and Jock games, whereas versus athletes, you used to tear
that ish up. My dude, can you still my mind?

Speaker 10 (36:19):
Can't? I don't know if my legs move like that anymore,
But yeah, man, I missed those games.

Speaker 2 (36:26):
Man, I don't. I don't think I'm no, I'm probably
trash now. But you always like the O these fools
ever play sports all growing up? Like now he's out
here is running circles around these Yeah, man, I grew
up playing sports. My mother taught me how to play sports.

Speaker 10 (36:38):
Ironically, Yeah, she was the baseball player in our family
and took me to my first baseball game and she
had she had a house full of trophies before I did.

Speaker 2 (36:46):
So hell yeah. Well, speaking of trophies, got Grammys, millions
albums sold? You played two super Bowls? Yeah, what's that like?
That was cool? And the last one little Nipplegate.

Speaker 10 (36:57):
Yeah, I got everybody forgets we were on that one.
Yeah yeah, yeah, but uh now it was cool man.
You know, the crowd is great. It's the biggest stage
that you can possibly be on, and its honored to
do it.

Speaker 2 (37:11):
Did they have a lot of rehearsals for that, because
now we talked months and months and months. Yeah we did,
but no we didn't. We didn't pretty much do months.

Speaker 7 (37:18):
I mean.

Speaker 10 (37:18):
And my first one was probably like all of forty
two seconds, sure, I probably think, And then the second
one I probably got about.

Speaker 2 (37:26):
A minute and a half. So that was cool. But
we probably rehearsed like two weeks like that. So not
too bad. Growing up, TRL one of six and Park
always looked like such a party. Was it like that
when you were there? Or is it like comercial? Nobody talking? No,
I think we need that type of energy back.

Speaker 10 (37:43):
Absolutely, that type of energy was genuine and it was
it was a blessing to be in it because you know,
people stood out.

Speaker 2 (37:48):
In line to get your records. Sure, you know now
people don't even.

Speaker 10 (37:52):
Leave the bed, you know, yeah, they buy your things
and you know, we got a chance to put posters
on the walls and things like that, so you can
kind of truly bought into artists. So now if you
can be an artist nowadays, that's why I give artists
that come along now a lot of credit when they
can make that impact what people are buying into who
they are, because that's that's what it really takes right now.

(38:13):
And that's a tough thing to do because you get
a lot of singles. People are selling singles and people
are selling moments. But to be able to sell a
career right now is tough.

Speaker 2 (38:20):
You mentioned your wife right in the household. For the
single fellas out there, what's like one piece of advice
they can have to like sweep the girl up, the
dreams out their feet besides being Ellie and.

Speaker 10 (38:30):
Well, I don't know, you know, I just try to
tell just take your time and make sure you're ready.
You know, don't let anybody, Don't let anybody rush you.
That's that's the key. Everybody has their own opinion about
what they think a relationship should be, how they think
it should go, when they think it should start. But
that's truly between you and the person that you know
you want to be with. And sometimes it takes others

(38:50):
longer to find it than they do. Because I would
rather die merrit than to have been married and got divorced.

Speaker 2 (38:56):
Just know that that's eve. I love that. When you
see in more movies anytime soon, a long yard Burt Reynolds,
but I mean looking with legend of work man god.

Speaker 10 (39:04):
Man, Bert was the man. Yeah, my grandmama loved Burt.
I gotta love hate relationship with mentioning Burt around like that.

Speaker 11 (39:12):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (39:12):
No, he's a great guy.

Speaker 10 (39:13):
But you know, I've never seen too many men with
my granny raised up and her eyes raised up, you know,
and for a black woman growing up a side Louis
eyes to raise for a white man his eyes shocking you.

Speaker 2 (39:27):
Forget Chris Rock, Burt Reynolds, man, did she ever get
to set to see? I know she never, she never
got a chance never.

Speaker 10 (39:33):
I wish, I wish that was a little bit but
early if the phones would have been the way that
they are now. I could have could have got a
good FaceTime. She would have loved that. I mean, I'd
have been the man. I'd have been the man.

Speaker 2 (39:44):
That must have been. One of the coolest sets to
be on too, is Sandler and Stunk Cold, very very funny.

Speaker 10 (39:49):
Very very funny, all of them. You know, you got
too many comedians on set. They're all trying to warm
up each other until Bert talks and everybody shuts.

Speaker 2 (39:55):
The hell up. Legend, Yeah, listen to these stories and
he's got a bunch of them at this point your career, Man,
is there anything you haven't done? Anything having a chance
to you me? Want to go to space?

Speaker 11 (40:04):
Maybe?

Speaker 10 (40:05):
No, No, no, I'm staying. I'm good right here. I'm
good right here. I ain't with all the space trips.
They just started getting me the fly maybe a couple
of years ago. You're doing the buses. That's the very
first thing I bought soon as I got somebody, it
was my own to a bus.

Speaker 2 (40:21):
Yeah, so no pooping on the bus, start right. That's
always the rule.

Speaker 10 (40:24):
With talking about you just got to pay the money
to get the right toilet. One of them Japanese boys
brushed it down, all right, you gotta get the right one.

Speaker 2 (40:32):
Baby. That that that that nine two thousand, Hell yeah,
that's that power. The DSL flush. We know it's not
it's gonna flush every Yeah. I never thought I'd talk
with Nelly jingle Ball bout toilets, but here we are.

Speaker 1 (40:43):
There you go.

But start to finish the pre show free show with
Mattes s Warehouse, Hey Madison, I think we all kind
of fell in love with absolute Max mcdown, that dude,

(41:41):
Scott Talent, my god, Alexander Stewart too. But then the
actual jingle ball, like the show show Olivia Dean, I
think everybody was like the most, like, can't wait to
see how grace she is, and she just is. I
don't think you used to have a bad day in
her life.

Speaker 4 (41:55):
Her energy, though, it is contagious.

Speaker 11 (41:57):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (41:58):
You also when you're talking to or you even see
her talking, you know that that's just genuinely who she is,
which is wild because a lot of celebrities are not
like that.

Speaker 1 (42:06):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (42:06):
Or stay with Miles Smith. Mile Smith basically flows in
the antery room, this big old smiles.

Speaker 4 (42:10):
He really did. Though.

Speaker 3 (42:11):
I was like, oh man, I love he's Gemini Gemini things.
Wasn't I get it?

Speaker 4 (42:14):
You don't.

Speaker 2 (42:15):
It was just from start to finish a great night
if he came to the show, thank you for coming.
If he stayed the whole night. It was a long
It was the last long show. Longest show, no doubt,
I mean Olidia. Dan got on stage at seven thirty.
Now he got stage eleven fifty something.

Speaker 4 (42:30):
Roight.

Speaker 7 (42:31):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (42:31):
I didn't get back from Hot till two o'clock this morning,
which is very exciting.

Speaker 4 (42:34):
So I got back at twelve fifty and I was like,
and I felt like the ride home, which we hit
zero traffic, I feel like it took an hour. I
was like, oh my god, I just want to be
so long.

Speaker 5 (42:44):
And I usually like I feel like every time after
drinkle Ball, I fall asleep in the car, but I
could not because I was so amped up from the night,
Like it was.

Speaker 4 (42:52):
So much fun.

Speaker 5 (42:53):
Also, Eric's driving it makes meel much, but it's fine.
I appreciate him driving us.

Speaker 3 (42:58):
I was like, I could be home because I saw
a street I take some times of like like I
could be in my own bed.

Speaker 2 (43:05):
Yeah, everything miss jingle Ball. We had tons of video
on the Instagram and TikTok to at YMS radio, your
Demi Levo tickets in the second but first everything Celebrity

there's this being a Shelby Anyway.

Speaker 4 (43:29):
I always talked Aboutingle a lot, but what on nothing

Speaker 3 (43:36):
Why why you say my name my mom when she's strong?
Love you, Megan, But she's like Shelby, Sha Dingle because
I have papa one. Yesterday I went down and I
know that we talked to her.

Speaker 9 (43:48):
That's too.

Speaker 2 (43:51):
Everybody last night it's like used to be on the
air next day. I'm like, yeah.

Speaker 4 (43:56):

It was like I'm coming it toward tomorrow.

Speaker 2 (44:03):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (44:04):
Anyway, we just talked so much about Avidan, but she
was phenomenal and I will die on that hill, uh,
like I said Miles Smith fellow Gemini.

Speaker 7 (44:12):
Uh.

Speaker 4 (44:13):
I made him laugh a lot. I think that's why.
His just kidding, that's why.

Speaker 3 (44:17):
But he also did a secret pop up show at
Kelly So if you were at that sports bar last
night like ten thirty, that was cool.

Speaker 4 (44:23):
Alsworn In and Milesmith. He posted a video on Instagram and.

Speaker 3 (44:27):
I'm like that I even though I got to hang
out with him and make him laugh about I was like,
what do you guys call cars England cars?

Speaker 2 (44:36):
You guys speak English over there as well. Huh yeah,
but the trunk is right, yeah, but you guys speak
different English carts or cars.

Speaker 3 (44:44):
I thought it was a buggy or is that the carriage?
What's the back things? The boot?

Speaker 4 (44:49):

Speaker 3 (44:50):
All right, all right, we gotta we gotta talk about
Shy's Hollywood Hollywood say so fear right now. One incredible,

whole out sold me to the third time ever can
I honestly.

Speaker 4 (45:07):
Birthday incredible?

Speaker 6 (45:11):
Like her?

Speaker 4 (45:13):
There was so much energy in her performance. I got,
I got to watch the whole thing, and I was like,
and then she brought Grace on stage. That was so fun.

Speaker 3 (45:22):
All of the backup, yes, the audience, all her backup dancers,
they had birthday hats on for Birthday.

Speaker 4 (45:26):
We got her take shine down uh rock and I
was like, it was shooting Nelly love him. Uh. He
brought us all out on stage and little Shelby was
a thorough.

Speaker 2 (45:39):
Well that was really cool. So he had done it
to one other show on the tour. Yeah, shout outs
to a Mojo and Detroit who we love. And then
his man's like, hey, do you guys want to come
on stage. I'm like yeah, he goes, Okay, whatever you do,
don't stay next to the pyro machine.

Speaker 9 (45:52):
Yeah.

Oh I did hear that?

Speaker 2 (45:53):
Yeah, And I was like, why it's no workers compy.
He goes no. I'm like all right, cool, And so
that was one of the coolest things ever. And you
want to hear they were singing long to Nelly with
their medaglasses. Yeah, it is pretty cool. So cool and
all the year jingle. That's one of the coolest moments.
That's one of my favorite songs of all time too.
And Nellie is just like Sli. You can't forget how
much that man's done, Like he's sold hundreds of millions

(46:14):
of songs out there.

Speaker 3 (46:16):
Started to cut you off, you continue very not for you.
I mean this actually is my only section that is anyway.
So Little Shelby said that he was gonna marry Shanty
when I was twelve. So not that I manifested it
by dead for him.

Speaker 4 (46:29):
You manifested for him. Yeah, I should have told him.

Speaker 2 (46:31):
I love it was kind of funny because he mentioned
his wife like, but.

Speaker 4 (46:34):
He just did so casually. My wife did not actually
say it like that.

Speaker 2 (46:41):
We're just very tired of humans in the world.

Speaker 3 (46:44):
But like talking or should I go please? Okay, my
dad asked me to please leave. He was texting, is like,
please go home.

of chicken wings.

Speaker 2 (51:00):
What flavor though? What flavor wings?

Speaker 6 (51:03):
It was buffalo? So like I wasn't mad, but like
it was one of those things and.

Speaker 9 (51:08):
I was like, oh man, explicit instructions.

Speaker 2 (51:10):
Yeah, yeah, I think I'd probably make the same mistake.

Speaker 4 (51:15):
Like pads and wings, got it?

Speaker 2 (51:17):
Meg one second running. I believe it was this year
I learned I thought tampons were flavored. I think that

Speaker 11 (52:05):
He also thought that women made breast milk even when
they weren't pregnant.

Speaker 6 (52:09):
He wants to ask me if he could have a taste.

Speaker 2 (52:11):
Oh yeah, the fan guys shut down on a season.
It's just always out there producing. Yeah, that's what he thought.
Was he at least really hot? Hannah?

Speaker 6 (52:20):
Oh my god, yeah he was really good looking.

Speaker 2 (52:24):
Okay he said leave you Yeah. Second in the running,
Hold let me get some voice here, Hold on, do

Speaker 6 (52:41):
So my ex decided to.

Speaker 7 (52:45):
Go buy a new car and then a month later
buy a cat, and then decide that she didn't want
to work at her place of employment anymore, and so
she just left with no backup.

Speaker 2 (52:55):

Okay, okay, second run him. You can vote for your favorite.
Text to nine ninety three three eight let me go, Becky,
good morning, good morning, girl. Laid on me. You knew
they're a dumb when.

Speaker 11 (53:31):
He put the microwaveable the wife cooker in the microwave
and burned and melted the bottom.

Speaker 2 (53:37):
Wow for half an hour. Yeah, I think you didn't.

Speaker 6 (53:42):
Put enough water in it and put it over too long.

Speaker 2 (53:45):
Okay, And you guys were together for how long?

Speaker 1 (53:49):
Two years?

Speaker 2 (53:49):
Okay? Yeah? Second the running, Let's go in Cambridge, Mary,
good morning, Good morning. You knew he was an idiot when.

Speaker 11 (54:01):
So we were at the gas station and he asked
me if he had to let all of the air
out of his tires first before he could put the
new air in.

Speaker 2 (54:09):
Yeah he can air. Yeah. Yeah. When he said that,
Jesus kind of stared him, like, how are you stupid?

Speaker 4 (54:18):
Cleanse it?

Speaker 2 (54:19):
Yes? Okay, all right, Mary Hall. One second, you're in
the running. Well we count the votes. You're right there, sauce.
What's going on?

Speaker 4 (54:28):
Someone text it when they decided to go on air
after DC tak a wall.

Speaker 2 (54:32):
Yeah we do, we know that number. No, No, you
haven't looked at the number.

Speaker 9 (54:40):
No.

Speaker 2 (54:41):
Is that somebody that today listen, yesterday was legitimately a
twenty four hour day. I guess technically today too. The
day doesn't stopped.

Speaker 4 (54:48):
So I'm just here so I don't get fine, like,
why it's not our fault?

Speaker 12 (54:52):
Now?

Speaker 4 (54:53):
Are you bullying?

Speaker 2 (54:54):
Boss told us, Yeah, I didn't get back to the
hotel until like two thirty this morning and then got it.

Speaker 4 (55:00):
It's a it's a hard life. I will say it
was a really dumb move of you to go out
for a drink after.

Speaker 2 (55:06):
What's can not go out the high of Nelly bring
us on stage and my guy I go out, and
then I want to see my friend Laurena brought to
the show was once they hide her for a second
two and she's dope.

Speaker 4 (55:17):
So I don't blame you. Sorry, it's taking me so long.
It's just my brain. My brain is like cannot hear me.

Speaker 5 (55:23):
Hey, if you text it on saying we're dumb for
being on air, Orange Ducks is your name?

Speaker 2 (55:28):
Yeah, yeah, don't be dumb. The votes come in thuh
Hannah with the eggs who lick their fingers that are
touching Rod Chicken. You and the Daniel bout tickets. Okay,
Oh that's I got one second. You got more tickets tomorrow.
Everything at jingle Ball plus second date Update and minute
set intern Johnny Marty Show. It was easily the biggest

(55:49):
jingle ball in the history of Hot ninety nine to
five Last Night or Hot ninety Fi jingle Ball present
by Capital One Veggas as far as like the amount
of artists veggas as far as like the amount of
time a long show, yeah bigas as far as attended
to that was massive. The pre show free show brought
to a Maxi's warehouse was really huge. We left being
fans of all the artists. Alexander Stewart, Hey, Madison's sweetheart.

Speaker 7 (56:12):
I love her.

Speaker 4 (56:13):
She was so sweet.

Speaker 2 (56:15):
Yeah. And then that Max mcdown who was like one
of the most humble guys. I was talking backstage and
he seemed like apprehensive people would know necessarily. It was like, dude,
when we announced you for the pre show, like people
were pumped then like everybody, yeah, so excited. Yeah, and
he's just such a good dude, Like, hey, just see
you know you have the next ten jingle balls here
the next ten years. He looked at him like, I'm
being serious. Don't you ever not do jingle balls? Yeah?

Speaker 4 (56:38):
Loved you.

Speaker 2 (56:39):
But then the actual show itself, so Olivia Dino opened
the show, and uh, you've seen videos of her for
sure doing man Need and she is just like that
in person. I think she just closed. She just leaves
glitterever she goes. Alex Warren, I think having ordinary done
live and that dude too will play the VU later
during the show. But he uh, like is so humble.

(57:01):
It's like he doesn't quite hasn't quite clicked. The Ordinary
is one of the biggest songs probably the last two years.
But Gimily, this is the dude who was living in
his car like maybe sixteen months ago, which is crazy crazy.
Him and Jelly Roll doing Bloodline together was fantastic. I
saw us give me your Highlight of the night Mars
sold out hot ninety. I fid jingle Ball Present by
Capital One last night.

Speaker 3 (57:20):
I mean definitely dancing on stage with Nelly. Yeah, because
I was literally before we went on stage, I was
thinking about how big of a fan I was when
when I was in middle school, I was obsessed with him.

Speaker 4 (57:29):
I had like a whole Nelly wall in my my bedroom.
It's not weird.

Speaker 13 (57:32):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (57:32):
So the jingle Balls a tour. Nelly did a couple
of the shows and the tour, and in Detroit he
brought the whole air staff out the end of the show. Yeah,
like that was kind of the goal. When I saw that,
I'm like, okay, So he did that for that show
and some other shows. He just didn't forever reason. Yeah,
I don't know why. I was like, maybe if we
get like the best interview possible, he'll have so much
fun that he'll like bring us out. So we did
the interview and like Nellie Saint Louis dude, like again,

(57:55):
like it's such an accomplished artist, and people just kind
of forget the fact that he's played two super Bowls,
which how many artists can say they played two super Bowls? Literally, Yeah,
he's had HEAs three Grammys, millions of records sold, the
man owns Apple Bomb jeans like that, it's like his brand.
And then so we did the interview and then were
get ready to bring him on stage, and his managers like, hey,
can I get your number? And I was like yeah, absolutely,
so change number. He's like, thank you so much for

(58:16):
having us. I'm like, yeah, thank you guys for coming here.
He's like, hey, so if you want, like Nelly wants
to bring you guys on stage for just a dream.
I go, yeah, trying to play cool, Mike, I mean,
I guess yeah.

Speaker 4 (58:27):
It was so excited, you know, we really.

Speaker 3 (58:29):
Were off stage and then you're like, don come back.
I was like, wait, John, sorry, I'm not changing the subject.
I just realized my first stage announcement was Nelly a
power plant when I said I just hope everybody has
a good time years ago.

Speaker 4 (58:43):
Yes, indeed, I just realized that.

Speaker 2 (58:46):
But it was kind of like back from the day
when comedians to Tonight's show, like with Johnny Carrison Letterman two,
Like they would do their set and if the host
liked you, he'd called you over sitting in the couch
and that was kind of like Caesar making a choice.
So that was kind of like, they can buy this
on stage. Not when they said yes, it was pretty
it was a pretty cool like it was so yeah,
and then that's one of the greatest songs I think
probably the last absolute twenty years. Absolutely, so being on

(59:08):
stage with Nelly doing just a dream to and jingle
I'll probably as a career highlight. Absolutely the video of
it's funny because Saverah and bless her Heart. She's good
a lot of things. Yeah, yeah, singing apparently is one
of them. So if you want to see the video
of us going on stage with the metaglasses, that's on
the Instagram at WAMUS Radio. I rose give me a
highlight for you for dingle Ball.

Speaker 5 (59:28):
There were so many moments. Getting to actually like watch
some of the performances was really cool. Zara Larson was amazing.
I also really enjoy talking to Alex Warren I had.
I got the opportunity to just kind of like chat
with him before the Capitol One Artist session and then
like afterwards again, and he is just such a kind,
like human and I want to protect him at all costs,
like it's so so so sweet.

Speaker 4 (59:49):
I love him.

Speaker 5 (59:50):
So that was really cool. And then I got to
see some of my friends that I gave tickets to
you for the show, which was really cool. I got
to see Sausa's parents. Yeah, yeah, exciting. They had fantas
past time.

Speaker 3 (01:00:00):
I had a stack schedules like you guys are not
going to answer if you text me and everybodys talking
about how he saw my parents and.

Speaker 2 (01:00:06):
I'm like, what, Yeah, they have a great time, fantastic time.

Speaker 3 (01:00:10):
My Mom's the first thing my mom texts me was like, hey,
b word, we have great segs.

Speaker 4 (01:00:15):
Thanks girl.

Speaker 7 (01:00:16):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (01:00:17):
I was like, okay, the seas were awesome. Like I
went over and I said by like my friends and
it was like I was like, man, this is like
really awesome. You guys are sool, I'm god.

Speaker 2 (01:00:25):
Parents also blown away like Conning Gray too. Oh so
that's when like his voice sounds great when you listen
to the music, then like him live it goes. How
does it sound better?

Speaker 4 (01:00:34):
Somehow it is wild and his energy on stage Yeah.
Also I loved out.

Speaker 2 (01:00:38):
He's a tiny dude. Yeah, but like his he's got
some pipes.

Speaker 4 (01:00:41):
Yeah, my god, he's very talented.

Speaker 2 (01:00:43):
Anything he missed from jingle ball, tons of photos, tons
of video up at why Miss Radio, on TikTok and Instagram.
I don't know how we top it next year. I
mean that sincerely because that was the biggest shingle ball
I think you've seen. So it came out. Thank you

the update, but first from the City that.

With three things you need to know for your Wednesday Rose.

Speaker 5 (01:01:09):
You're traveling for the holidays, TSA wants to give you
a little reminder of what's okay to bring on your
carry on and we need to go on your check baggage.
So they're basically recommending if you are bringing a gift,
probably best to either do like a gift bag or
don't wrap it at all because if for some reason
they need to check it.

Speaker 4 (01:01:27):
They're gonna have to unwrap it, and you don't want
to have to deal with that.

Speaker 5 (01:01:31):
Electronics, if it's a big like a laptop or gaming
system or coffee maker, pack them in your carry on,
just know that they're gonna have to place them in
the bin to be X rayed. Big goods fine, since
they're all mostly solid foods. Otherwise, if you can spill it,
spread it, spray it, pump it, or pour it, and
it is larger than three point four ounces, it needs
to be packed in checks bagt it.

Speaker 4 (01:01:54):
It's like wondering it's gonna happen. Some other surprising things
you're not allowed to bring in carry on.

Speaker 5 (01:02:00):
Snow gloves because they more than likely have three more
than three point four ounces of liquid inside.

Speaker 4 (01:02:05):
If you are ensured. TSA has a whole section called
what can I Bring?

Speaker 5 (01:02:08):
It features a list of the prohibited items before getting
to the airport, So there you also, I just want
to like throw this out there because I just remember
today it's like one of the last days you can
ship gifts. Oh yeah, before the like today and tomorrow,
like the deadline. If you want to send a gift
and make it to your destination by Christmas, so make
sure you're doing that.

Speaker 4 (01:02:29):
State lawmakers. Maryland State lawmakers have.

Speaker 5 (01:02:31):
Overden Governor Wes Moore's veto of a bill to create
the Maryland Reparations Commissions so the commissioner will study compensation
for slavery and racial discrimination in the state. When the
Governor vito the measure earlier this year, he said the
state had already formed several commissions to study the issues,
and the focus should be on action more than studies.
So just giving you a heads up there. And the
power ball, it has grown again. There was no winter

(01:02:51):
Monday night and now the jackpot is one point two
but the the billion dollars with the cat option of
five hundred and seventy two point one million.

Speaker 4 (01:03:00):
So let's go get some tickets.

Speaker 5 (01:03:03):
That drawing is tonight, by the way, for that one
point two billion dollars, I'm rose.

Speaker 4 (01:03:08):
Those are the three things you need to know over
the day.

Speaker 2 (01:03:10):
Thank you, welcome, Let's go Tim, Good morning, good morning,
hey man, got you email? Will do this in less
than three minutes. Okay, okay. Second date update on intern
Johnny Morning. Second date update an intern John Your Morning Show.
We just want you to have a healthy, happy relationship,
and there's nothing worse when you think you find that,

(01:03:31):
but then the person disappears. We try to see exactly
what's going on. Tim, good morning, Good morning guys, hey man,
So walk us through this. You and Caitlin first matched
where we metched on bumble okay, and what about her
bumble make her stand out to you?

Speaker 13 (01:03:49):
She had She had a beautiful smile on their picture,
a stucker for a nice smile.

Speaker 2 (01:03:56):
Yeah, very pretty.

Speaker 13 (01:03:59):
She seemed like she had her head straight on from
her for all everything on the app. And then you know,
we matched. We met by starting off talking for about
a week on there before we actually got into anything else.
And then we decided, yeah, we know, conversation good. We
kind of get along something in common, so we should meet.

Speaker 2 (01:04:21):
So make sure the time I write a mash down Bumble.
Talked in the app for by a week, moved to
phone for by a week, and then met each other. Right,
you got it? Okay, And it's been it's been one
date so far, one date, one really good date. I mean,
what happened?

Speaker 13 (01:04:38):
So we went to dinner. We didn't plan anything after that,
so it was just a nice, simple dinner, you know,
nothing nothing too fancy, nothing too long and crazy.

Speaker 2 (01:04:47):
So we had dinner, We.

Speaker 13 (01:04:48):
Had a great time, conversation was flowing, no like awkward
pauses or anything like that. So everything went really really well,
I thought. And at the end of the night we kissed.

Speaker 2 (01:04:57):
So it seemed to me like it was a really
really wrong date. Well, why point out your email you
mentioned it felt like you guys known each other for
a long time, Like, it didn't feel like we first
time seen each other.

Speaker 13 (01:05:06):
And yeah, yeah, like I said, the conversation flow would
be a lot in common. It didn't seem like it
was an awkward awkward awkwardness you know that can happen
on the first.

Speaker 2 (01:05:16):
Day, just like we knew each other for a long time.

Speaker 7 (01:05:22):
Off.

Speaker 13 (01:05:22):
Yeah, and then like and like I guess, at the
end of the day, we kissed.

Speaker 2 (01:05:26):
So I'm kind of yeah. As far as the day itself,
did you guys meet there or did you drive together?
How'd that work?

Speaker 13 (01:05:34):
No, we met there, we met there.

Speaker 2 (01:05:35):
Did you pay the whole bill? Did you split the bell?

Speaker 9 (01:05:39):
Oh?

Speaker 2 (01:05:40):
No, I paid the whole Billy gentle, very nice to
the other day. We have the kiss. I'm assuming we
say something like we'd love to see you again, Yes
I did, and her response was.

Speaker 13 (01:05:52):
You know, I don't.

Speaker 2 (01:05:53):
I don't.

Speaker 13 (01:05:54):
I'm not going to say it was an excited yes,
but it was like yes, yeah, okay, yeah, we do
this again.

Speaker 2 (01:05:59):
Sure, and we've not heard from her for about a week.
Is that fair?

Speaker 13 (01:06:03):
That's fair?

Speaker 2 (01:06:03):
Yeah? Okay. We tried calling, tried texting, dming all that
and just nothing.

Speaker 5 (01:06:09):
I did.

Speaker 2 (01:06:09):
I did.

Speaker 13 (01:06:09):
I called twice and my texted a few times.

Speaker 2 (01:06:11):
Just ye, overboard, but no, I agree. So let's just
let's call Caitlyn, get her on and get her aside.
Because I am curious too, because I think the kiss
the end of the night usually it's a pretty good
sign of want to see somebody again. So hold on
one second. Hello, Hi, calling for Caitlyn.

Speaker 6 (01:06:39):
Please this caitl it's the Internshohn.

Speaker 2 (01:06:43):
I got Sauce and Rose here as well. We talked
to you in the air real quick about something nothing bad.
Just need like forty five seconds of your time.

Speaker 4 (01:06:51):
Yeah, from the radio, Yes indeed, yes, yes, yeah, yeah,
do that.

Speaker 2 (01:06:58):
Listen. We got the man line here, Tim, if you
want to say hello. Nailed it, and so Caitlyn, Tim
reached out to us. He told us, you guys mashed
on Bumble about three weeks ago, did a week of
talking on the app, We get texting, how lovely dinner
about a week ago. But he has not hurt from
you since we're trying to see where your head's at
going forward and what you're thinking.

Speaker 6 (01:07:20):
Wow, okay, we'll talk about putting a girl on the spot.

Speaker 13 (01:07:24):
Tim, Well, if you would respond, I wouldn't have to
do this.

Speaker 6 (01:07:29):
It's a fair point, all right, I guess I'll just
be honest.

Speaker 4 (01:07:32):
Then.

Speaker 6 (01:07:34):
Yeah, Well, I was just really turned off at the
fact that this guy communicated so much, to the point
where I almost felt like it was my mom that
was texting and my mom that was checking up on
me way way Well, like, okay, I get like, hey

(01:07:55):
just want to let you know him on the way,
or hey, just confirm you have the address the restaurant,
Like I understand, like a text or something before we meet,
just to make sure everything's kosher and good. But like
he took it to the extreme, like yeah, like he would. Well,
he texted me probably like five or six times the

(01:08:16):
day of our date. Want to make sure you have
the restaurant?

Speaker 7 (01:08:19):
Cool?

Speaker 6 (01:08:20):
What time are you going to leave. I want to
make sure you account for traffic.

Speaker 2 (01:08:23):
Cool?

Speaker 6 (01:08:23):
Are you on your way? I'm leaving in ten, you
know some like that. Cool, I'm going to be there
in five. Like I probably got six texts like within
four hours of our date, which was like, oh my gosh.

Speaker 2 (01:08:35):
The actual day itself, though the date was.

Speaker 6 (01:08:38):
Fine, like he is really nice, he's very handsome, he's polite. Sure,
the date went great. But then after the date, I
was hoping maybe pre date texts were just nervousness or something,
but it continued after it was like, well it was
did you you know first on the date? Afterwards he

(01:08:58):
was like, let me know when you get home safe?
Okay now?

Speaker 4 (01:09:01):
And I was yeah, yeah.

Speaker 6 (01:09:05):
But then I started getting texts like hey, I'm going
to be home in five. I hope you're close to
home too, and then hope you made at home safe,
and hey, you're not answering me to the question your.

Speaker 2 (01:09:15):
Home Did you ever tell me at home? Sane?

Speaker 11 (01:09:16):
Yeah?

Speaker 4 (01:09:17):
Did you tell him?

Speaker 6 (01:09:19):
I don't think I did, to be honest, okay, because
I was just shirt at that point, likery my mom
is very overbearing like that, and it just like gave
me bet okay, so let me do this.

Speaker 2 (01:09:29):
I'm gonna put your gys in hold. Are you team
Tim or team Caitlin eight seven seven nine nine five
four six State one to call nine ninety three three
eight to text, It's second date update an intern John
in your Morning show. The second date update on internshown
in your Morning show. We just talked to Tim and Caitlyn.
They matched bumble about three weeks ago, talked in the
app for a week, talked on the phone for a week,

(01:09:50):
had their first date. She stopped hitting the back. According
to her, he was a little bit too I honest say,
push you with communication, but always sending updates about WANs
gonna be somewhere, asking Harrison updates when she got home.
And that's enough for her to be like, ah, no,
thank you your thoughts eight seven seven nine ninety five
four six State one to call nine ninety three three
eight to text, will get you and hold sauce.

Speaker 4 (01:10:10):
What are you think him as someone who is single
and has been in the dating field for quite some time?
I will say, do I see both sides? Absolutely?

Speaker 3 (01:10:18):
But also it was one date, so he was probably
trying to over communicate just to make sure, like first
of all, he wanted to make sure you got home, okay, Yeah,
and well he probably just wanted to make sure, like
you guys were going to meet around the same time.

Speaker 4 (01:10:30):
Sure, I think that's normal.

Speaker 3 (01:10:32):
Okay, Sure he said, maybe too many texts, But to
write him off after one date, I think is a lot.
And I mean a lot of complaints in my friends
who are also women dating men have is that the
communication styles are just like not hitting or just you know,
things are all over the place. So maybe he went
into this with Maybe he has some girlfriends that say,

(01:10:52):
you know, you have to communicate to it because like
that's what we do want, yesolutely, So he's doing it.
I think that they could have she could have had
cover stage with him. I know that that maybe is
scary after a first day.

Speaker 11 (01:11:03):
I just I like it.

Speaker 4 (01:11:05):
I is it a lot? Sure, but you didn't even
let him know that you got home?

Speaker 7 (01:11:08):
Okay.

Speaker 2 (01:11:09):
Yeah. I think especially in this area too, I should
ask where they live because like all texts like hey
I'm leaving now, ten minutes away, five minutes away, just
get like the update because.

Speaker 4 (01:11:17):
It could but it changed.

Speaker 3 (01:11:18):
Yeah, it changes so fast here, So I think that's
very normal here, especially I don't know. I get that
it can be a lot, and I have also been
turned off honestly from being over texted, sure with very
similar things. But I also told them, hey, like I
just you don't need to text me that much. And also,
especially on a first day, I'll see you my location
for an hour. If you're going to keep asking her,

(01:11:39):
I am just for an hour, you don't need to
have it forever anyway.

Speaker 4 (01:11:42):
I just think this because that's something that sir.

Speaker 2 (01:11:45):
Let me go, Michelle, good morning, good morning, How are
you well? Thank you? What do you want to say
with second date update?

Speaker 4 (01:11:52):
I'm keam Kim. Are these women crazy? I wish I've
had a guy like that.

Speaker 2 (01:11:57):
Yeah, yeah, you prefers Tom check in the kigway.

Speaker 11 (01:12:02):
Yes.

Speaker 12 (01:12:02):
I think he was being very respectful, very gentlemanly. He
was showing interest, which you know, most men don't do nowadays.
I don't know.

Speaker 2 (01:12:12):
Maybe it's me because I'm.

Speaker 12 (01:12:13):
A little bit older, so I look for that kind
of stuff, and I taught my son that kind of stuff,
to be very respectful. I just think he was going
above and beyond showing very much interest. Yeah, so yeah,
I would go out with him in a minute. I
don't understand what's wrong with these women now.

Speaker 2 (01:12:31):
No, I get Michelle, thank you for listening to have
a great day.

Speaker 11 (01:12:35):
Thank you I have.

Speaker 2 (01:12:36):
Oh sorry, sorry I rose your thoughts of this.

Speaker 5 (01:12:38):
I think if everything else in the day was fine,
like you guys got along the conversations flow, there was chemistry.
I don't see this as being like the end Albiel,
Like I feel like she should have given him more
time to figure out, like maybe he was just a
little nervous for the first date. Sure, but if that's
his communication style and it doesn't mesh with yours, I

(01:12:58):
understand that, But I still think warrant a conversation like Hey,
I don't need you to text me seven hundred times
before our date or after our date to make sure
you know. Like I think like once on each side,
is it not like just lay out kind of what
you're expecting from him, because otherwise he's one he's not
gonna know. And he didn't do anything wrong. He just
was a little too like maybe a little too much

(01:13:21):
with the texting. But I also feel like maybe she's
not in a place where she's ready for that kind
of relationship where who is communicating Because I've been there
before where you date a guy and it's like, oh wow,
he's actually really fantastic and he's just too much for
me right now because I'm not in a place that's
ready for that.

Speaker 4 (01:13:36):
So maybe that's her problem.

Speaker 2 (01:13:38):
Could be worse, she could be an avoidant that that's
ain't worth it. Let me go, Dara, good morning. Hi,
it's jar that's sorry, Sorry, dear. What do you want
to stay on a second day up date?

Speaker 6 (01:13:50):
I agree with h Cam, I think or I'm on
tim side. You know, my gosh, it was their first day.

Speaker 11 (01:13:58):
He's showing interest, he's trying to be kind, and maybe
after the third or fourth date, if he's still too.

Speaker 2 (01:14:06):
Much, then you know, hey, it's not going to work out.

Speaker 11 (01:14:09):
But got to communicate to him and say, dude, I'm
you know, I don't need all.

Speaker 2 (01:14:15):
These extra texts.

Speaker 9 (01:14:16):
You know, we don't know his history.

Speaker 11 (01:14:18):
Maybe he had a girl that was cheating on him
or whatever, you know, but yeah, what a great guy. Yes,
And I mean was he creepy too many texts? Or
was he kind too many texts? There's a difference like
yeah he gave or the creepy you know, but yeah,
he seemed like he was pretty legit.

Speaker 2 (01:14:40):
Derek, thank you for listening. To have a great day,
bay By if you want to do his second day update,
DMS are open at YMS Radio. Before we get to
the entertainment part real quick in Laurel Danielle, good morning.

Speaker 4 (01:14:52):
Hi, good morning.

Speaker 6 (01:14:52):
How are you.

Speaker 2 (01:14:53):
I'm doing well. So you read jingle Ball last night?
Your thoughts?

Speaker 4 (01:14:56):
Oh, it was amazing.

Speaker 6 (01:14:57):
I won tickets through calling into the show last week
and me and my daughter had a great time last night.

Speaker 2 (01:15:02):
All right. Was his daughter's first concert by chance or no.

Speaker 4 (01:15:06):
No, We've been to a couple K pop concerts throughout
the years, but it was our first, like jingle Ball,
and it was the best. The show was amazing and
you guys did great also.

Speaker 2 (01:15:14):
Thank you so much. Who was your favorite act on stage?

Speaker 4 (01:15:18):
I think Leave did amazing. Olivia Dean when she opened.

Speaker 2 (01:15:23):
Up the show.

Speaker 11 (01:15:23):
Her voice is just so beautiful.

Speaker 4 (01:15:25):
Yes, Yes, and Alex Alex Warren.

Speaker 2 (01:15:27):
They did so good, all of them, Danielle. And you
asked a question because at the end of the show
I said a joke on stage about six to seven
that from my vantage point, crowd went crazy for Sauce
as she rolls her eyes. Thank you Danielle Sauce.

Speaker 6 (01:15:42):
Crowd, I got it.

Speaker 2 (01:15:44):
I love that.

Speaker 4 (01:15:45):
You did your daughter love it?

Speaker 7 (01:15:47):
She did?

Speaker 2 (01:15:47):
She was like, wait, why did you say that?

Speaker 7 (01:15:49):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (01:15:51):
Yes, thank you so much to Hey get you guys.
I'm I manswer for listening to the show.

Speaker 1 (01:15:56):
I would love that.

Speaker 2 (01:15:56):
Thank you one second so to start the show life, Yeah,
because I was like, I'm gonna do something that changed up.
I was like, listen, we do all the the Mamo jumbo.
I'm like, hey, there's two worlds. Jingle Ball have the
best at ever. If you say six seven, you have
to leave.

Speaker 7 (01:16:10):
Crowd.

Speaker 2 (01:16:11):
Yeah, they probably want more.

Speaker 4 (01:16:13):
They did.

Speaker 2 (01:16:13):
They want me to do a soft ten minute.

Speaker 4 (01:16:15):
They did the uncle that comes to the holiday party
that tries.

Speaker 2 (01:16:19):
To be hit.

Speaker 4 (01:16:20):
Been cool.

Speaker 2 (01:16:20):
Yeah, like number one albums.

Speaker 4 (01:16:23):
Yeah, you're the Oh you're the Orange Glorio.

Speaker 2 (01:16:27):
Yeah, like I actually you have them Thoco. I got
the album.

Speaker 4 (01:16:32):
So that's that's here. Footballer of them did Mountain. Oh
my gosh, I'm gonna call you Glorio.

Speaker 2 (01:16:39):
Okay uh anyway, jingle Ball is amazing. Last night it
became the show. Thank you Gimly, I think was the
biggest jingle Ball we've had. Certainly like crowd wise, artists wise,
everything was fantastic. Seeing Alex Ore and jey Roll do
blood Lines together, which is like you rarely see artists
get to do songs together. Yeah, I've seen a g
R live Like those guys they're live show, Like they

(01:17:01):
put a lot into it.

Speaker 4 (01:17:03):
Yeah, they put so much, like different things and then
they explain it at the end.

Speaker 2 (01:17:06):
Yeah, and I'll say this too. So Cony Gray bound
before leave and I was like, ahh, I don't know
how she's gonna follow him because he was high energy.

Speaker 4 (01:17:12):
But she just like she gets it.

Speaker 3 (01:17:14):
Also, everything she comes to DC, she slays because she
had what like that three day like thing here. Yeah,
she had three shows in her own because she had
so many, Like she's just incredible.

Speaker 2 (01:17:26):
And then I think the highlight Chrus again Nelly bring
everybody on stage to end the show was a career
highlight for sure. Just a very nice US is awesome.
And I'll say this so we said it all night,
but hearing him talk about his wife and knowing there
was a shot down, but what of flex to be
like yeah my wife shot Yeah, like what a beautiful

(01:17:47):
the most beautiful woman.

Speaker 4 (01:17:48):
Then she is together.

Speaker 2 (01:17:50):

I've been trying that for so long. Yeah at Edgeharon
dot com doesn't work. I've been trying. I read somewhere
that you used to work in retail. How much of

(01:18:44):
a disaster was that?

Speaker 2 (01:18:45):
I was sixteen. It was my first job.

Speaker 8 (01:18:47):
Okay, it really cut me out for life, you know,
saying where's the pears they're out of stock. You know,
it really gets you. Disappointing people on a Sunday, you know,
really primed you for this life.

Speaker 4 (01:18:57):
You're probably Gonnat falling clothes now, Oh.

Speaker 2 (01:18:58):
Absolutely, Yeah. We've heard horror stories in the US. Retail
workers have had people use the restroom in the trash
can the changing rooms have Yeah, that happened, you guys,
A proper you see, I was lucky.

Speaker 12 (01:19:08):

Speaker 8 (01:19:09):
They called it a fruit and veg specialists, So all
I had was tomatoes and cucumbers.

Speaker 2 (01:19:13):
No, that wasn't got bad place.

Speaker 1 (01:19:17):
What do you think?

Speaker 2 (01:19:17):
Like a weird I wish I could make sousa. Could
you get free food at the end of the day? Oh? Free?
I mean, I don't know is legally free? But yeah,
I had a few apples.

Speaker 4 (01:19:32):
You still told from from where?

Speaker 9 (01:19:34):
What is?

Speaker 1 (01:19:36):
No?

Speaker 4 (01:19:36):
No, I'm sorry I was that. I'm just like girl
and have money. It was from the cafeteria.

Speaker 2 (01:19:43):
You got allowed? What have you stolen? We've just hearts?
Just so good. I'm looking the camera right now. There
it is. You're the youngest of how many siblings. I'm
the youngest of two Lincoln. Yeah, has your life changed
at home? Now that you're a big star. Are you
still the youngest in the Yeah? I still believe. Yeah,
still believe. Do they at least ask the tickets for

(01:20:04):
shows and stuff? No, they they don't even ask, They
just come. Yeah, how cool is it Ben to obviously
get big in England and they come to the States
and see your music is traveled across Yes, it's absolutely wild.

Speaker 8 (01:20:17):
I mean, you know, I grew up in England and
so you think the world is as big as England
for a long time, and then you get to travel
the world and see so much more and to be
able to come over here and people love the music
is just a fantastic.

Speaker 2 (01:20:27):
Well, what a great time to be a young English musician. Again,
Ed obviously took off, you got Dell taking up Ella Henderson,
a bunch of Oliver. Absolutely, But I'm saying that there's
somebody like people you probably look up to, and now
you're playing arenas with people up to like you play
with edg dingle Ball in New York.

Speaker 8 (01:20:43):
It's gotta crazy. Yeah, man, it's really awesome. And I think,
you know, British music is so cool and if people
have the time to go and check it out, I
definitely would say, go check it out. But you know,
only a few of us managed to make it over here,
so I'm glad I'm one of them.

Speaker 2 (01:20:54):
Absolutely I did. I turned my dad into a Manchester game.
You went to Manchester, they got spanked. When you lose
by a touchdown in your football, like, that's not ideal?
We are we've got so we've got to talk about this.
What's your team a touchdown in my football? It's not

(01:21:16):
great about it? He los by over six goals now,
like it wasn't like who's your who's your small snow
North London? Yeah, better stadium better.

Speaker 4 (01:21:32):
It sounds like what Harry character.

Speaker 2 (01:21:34):
Sorry, I mean I was like, wow, he's that we
go to deliver arsenal? Yeah, I get it? Get it? Sorry?
Are you getting power while you're here? That's how you
put not in d C. It's in Florida, but.

Speaker 3 (01:21:51):
Give it absolutely our car ride, it's fine.

Speaker 4 (01:21:57):
Car like a no, but it's.

Speaker 2 (01:22:00):
Curry English translating right because obviously stargates and took off
and tech tag How cool is to see you see
the numbers on tech tak see the string numbers, but
they see fans react to the song starting that's Gabby
one of the cost things he was, Yeah, super dope.
You know, I played for ages.

Speaker 8 (01:22:19):
He used to play in pubs looking at one miserable
guy in the corner drinking a Guinness and trying to
convince him I was going to be something.

Speaker 2 (01:22:25):
And now it's like several thousands of them. Fretty cool. Yeah,
I know, it meant they're not miserable.

Speaker 8 (01:22:31):
By the way, hopefully they're drinking guinness though, so yeah,
unless you're under twenty one, don't drink guinness. But yeah,
definitely any big plans for twenty twenty six. Sleep a
little bit more than this year.

Speaker 2 (01:22:43):
Yeah.

Speaker 8 (01:22:43):
We've done over one hundred and I think twenty shows
this year, so I'm fairly tired. But at the same time,
more music, more fun, more life, any clubs maybe, uh,
ed sharing or anything like that. If you're watching his
head in case you're if you're in your iPad time, I.

Speaker 2 (01:22:59):
Want to collab. Love you. What's been your favorite moment
so far of doing the jingle Ball Tour.

Speaker 8 (01:23:04):
Oh, my favorite moment so I thought, Oh men, me
and Alex weread to get a match in Tattoo, So
that's been pretty fun there.

Speaker 2 (01:23:11):
We got him.

Speaker 8 (01:23:12):
Uh, he's getting his now yeah, I've got Pooky Poy,
so yeah, I.

Speaker 2 (01:23:19):
Think I think that's fantastic. Miles Smith. A pleasure to
have you at jingle Ball. Can we just we next year?
Thanks for coming Hot naety niney five. Miles Smith tore
it up last night on stage. Are sold out Hot
ninety I five jingle Ball presented by Capital One. Relive

(01:23:41):
I five jingle Ball presented by Capital One from start
to finish and it started the pre show free show,
brought to my massive warehouse. Hey and Madison, we all
kind of found love with Max mcdown, Alexander Stewart, the
jingle Ball itself, Olivia Dean opening the show and I've
never heard the crowd so pumped for an opening act
and she sounded just like the album, which was crazy.

(01:24:02):
Jelly rolled, Alex Warren fantastic, Miles Smith was amazing, Nelly
of course, bring everybody on stage was fantastic And think
you missed some jingle Ball? Tons of photos and video
on the Instagram TikTok at why miss Radio. Rose has
the three things you need to know for your Wednesday.
Come once you got for us?

Speaker 4 (01:24:17):
I'm talking about Girl Scout Cookie.

Speaker 2 (01:24:20):
Then Nellie on the show. First Summer, You got Nellie
on the show in minutes, First out from the City that.

Speaker 1 (01:24:27):
Changes the world. Cheers Rose with three things you need.

Speaker 2 (01:24:31):
To know for your Wednesday, Rose, what you got for us?

Speaker 5 (01:24:33):
If you are doing holiday travel, just be prepared because
there is a round of bad weather that is expected
to cause messy early holiday travel condition. So what weather
is headed for the central and eastern parts of the
US during the middle and later part of this week,
bringing a rain, fog, ice, possibly more snow not good stuff.
And there's gonna be a lot of people traveling, especially

(01:24:54):
between December twentieth and New Year's Day, so just be
prepared for that. So Marilyn Attorney General Anthony Brown and
a coalition of thirty four Attorney generals have reached a
settlement with Honda and Kia for selling vehicles lacking industry
standard anti theft technology. Coalition says that the failure resulted
in an epidemic of cars, car that's and joy writing
that continues.

Speaker 4 (01:25:13):
To threaten public safety.

Speaker 5 (01:25:14):
So as part of the settlement, the automakers will provide
free ignition cylinder protection equipment.

Speaker 4 (01:25:19):
All future vehicles sold in.

Speaker 5 (01:25:21):
The US will come with that standard theft anti theft
technology and pay up to four point five million dollars
in restitution to owners whose cars were damaged by thieves.
And get ready, because Girls Go Cookie Season is a
little weird.

Speaker 4 (01:25:35):
So excited. The twenty twenty six lineup is chicking things
up a little bit. So The toast Yas and Somemores have.

Speaker 5 (01:25:41):
Officially retired after the twenty twenty five season, but there
is a brand new Rocky Road inspired cookie called Explore
Moores Good.

Speaker 4 (01:25:50):
It is making its debut with a marshmallow and toasted.

Speaker 5 (01:25:52):
Almond cream sandwiched between cocoa cookies. It sounds amazing fan
favorites like the Thin At Samoa tag Along Troubles. They
are all taken around, along with some several bakery exclusive
options and.

Speaker 4 (01:26:06):
That cookie season kicks off in January. You know I
will be indulging supports your local Girl Scouts.

Speaker 5 (01:26:12):
They'll be sold locally until about April, and then you
can also order online and you can also send a
box of the troops if you want to, which is
really really cool.

Speaker 4 (01:26:19):
I'm ros those are the three things you need to
know over the day.

Speaker 2 (01:26:22):
Also, here's sayings some mash shows coming and to say
we love MASH shows at the Bony Whyland by a
Bone in twelve hounds, eighteen ounce fil as as well.
The seafood's good. They got the Simon Pecan butter cake
that was so delicious. Yeah, it's also great vibes too,
even just like sausage been there for the drinks before. Yeah,

(01:26:42):
it's a really good spot. The open Christmas Eve and
Christmas Day as well as well as New Year's Eve
as well. Mashow's official on the Instagram. Here's thanks to
them coming in jingle Balls last night. It was crazy.
It just was like we're going on the mad hours,
so asleep certainly, I think the highlight was Nelly brought
everybody on stage for Jesse a Dream, which he did

(01:27:04):
for only one other show so far the whole tour,
which is definitely like a bucket list.

Speaker 4 (01:27:10):
It was so cool.

Speaker 2 (01:27:11):
Yeah, if you want to see the video and Savera
was wearing the metaglasses, you can actually see like first
person perspective of it. It is we're kind of like
what the hell will we do like this is from
the biggest rappers of all time. I was like, it's
it was cool. That's the moment I think we'll never forget.
You want to see all the jingle ball videos. We
got them for you on the Instagram at YMS Radio.
Nelly on the show in minutes first hundreds backstage and

(01:27:33):
Mercedes Ben's Ibu Lounge Hot jingle Ball with Nelly. How
are you, sir? I'm doing well. I got a question
TI mid West guys, Minnesota, Missouri. We gotta be honest
about our hometowns. Saint Louis pizza, your thoughts. I love,
I love our pizza, man, but I understand. You know
my wife gives me about that pizza too. But oh
can I say that? Well edited out? It's about You're Nelly,

(01:27:55):
all right. My brother just moved there, had emos for
the first time, and nobody told me, y'all have your
own pizza after the first bite, and I was like,
this is different. Yeah it is.

Speaker 10 (01:28:03):
But well, I'm not a I don't eat red meat.
But when I did terrorize the meat industry.

Speaker 2 (01:28:11):
Pause. But I used to get a lot. They got
a pizza called meat Lovers and it's crazy, you know
what I'm saying. It's like all of it, but uh
my wife she sees it's like cheese and crackers. It
kind of it is, though, unless I'm not trying to hate,
you might be like the first real entrepreneur in hip hop.
And let's go down the line. Apple bottom jeans, Yo,

(01:28:34):
Hymn Juice obviously had the first double album with Sweatsuit,
and now you got the Moonshine as well, right, I
mean Moonshine.

Speaker 10 (01:28:42):
Yeah, but that listen, I don't get a chance to
do any of this without the people that laid all
of that foundation before me.

Speaker 2 (01:28:49):
You know what I'm saying.

Speaker 10 (01:28:50):
And everything that you've named is are businesses that other
people in hip hop, in this business has had before me.

Speaker 2 (01:28:59):
Sure, and I just what's up the moonshine.

Speaker 10 (01:29:01):
I don't know any rapper with no moon shine, no,
nothing like that, but yeah, that was probably be the first.

Speaker 2 (01:29:06):
But you talk when you're talking clothing lines.

Speaker 10 (01:29:09):
Obviously you got food bool and you know, you had
Sean John and you had fat Form and things like that.

Speaker 2 (01:29:17):
But yeah, Apple Bottoms is back now, so I get
a chance to rebirth that. Hell yeah, that's good. And
white moonshine, you drink that growing up at all?

Speaker 6 (01:29:25):
Yes?

Speaker 2 (01:29:25):
And no, okay, I don't won't say too much. Okay.
In Minnesota, like we had a guy we call him
Big Dick cause he was a big guy. He called
and that was always awkward to be like we're getting Yeah,
I'm gonna let it have it. Yeah, I'm let it.
Have you ever knew if you were in drinking and
see sound, I mean that's the problem, moonshine. At least
you got the legit stuff, so we're never going to go. Yeah,
I don't know to compress it, but you know, you

(01:29:46):
might be had the most eclectic to a collection of music.
I mean a song for everything, just a dream, great
breakup song, Dielemma love song, hot in her first song,
I ever touched your girls butt to thank you for
that permission? Oh yeah, come Nelly, A good Catholic boy
from Saint Paul, Minnesota. Absolutely if you want to say,
it's hot ninety nine toy five and here on stage
night there we go drop that. I got you. But

(01:30:06):
you got a bunch of country songs too, though you
got the two four Argia Lion songs. You cover the
Thomas Rhet song you got the Tim McGrath song. Could
we see a Nelly country album one day? I know
we had a country grammar, Yeah, you can see country country.

Speaker 10 (01:30:18):
Well, two years ago I dropped my first country I
call it a country inspired album, Heartland, which I want
to send a shout out to everybody that did support that.
Working on Heartland too as well. Yeah, brought back fgl
and a bunch of other people. Man, shout out to
my man Blanco, Brown, Breelin and yeah, man, a host

(01:30:39):
of people. So I did one, but hopefully we get
a chance to put this second one out real soon.

Speaker 2 (01:30:44):
I mean it's crazy. Country grammar is twenty five years old. Like,
that's crazy. What's the core thing as an artists? When
you have a song that the first comes out, you know,
twenty five years ago, people react to it, or now
playing it twenty five years later, and people still getting
crazy when they hear the first beat of one of
your records. Well, twenty five years later, you just thankful
they still listening. Yeah, you know what I mean. In
the beginning, it was all surprising.

Speaker 10 (01:31:06):
You don't really understand the severity of it, sure, but
your fingers are crossed and you just keep working and
you keep thanking people as you go. So yeah, to
be here celebrating that part is amazing.

Speaker 2 (01:31:18):
Back in the day, MTV used to have the Rock
and Jock gamesas versus athletes. You used to tear that
ish up, My dude, can you still my mind? Can
I say?

Speaker 10 (01:31:29):
I don't know if my legs move like that anymore?
But yeah, man, I missed those games.

Speaker 2 (01:31:34):
Man, I don't. I don't think I'm no, I'm probably
trash now you always are? These fools ever play sports
all growing up Like Nelly's out here is running circles
around these Yeah, man, I grew up playing sports. My
mother taught me how to play sports. Ironically.

Speaker 10 (01:31:47):
Yeah, she was the baseball player in our family and
took me to my first baseball game, and she had
she had a house full of trophies before I did.

Speaker 2 (01:31:54):
So hell yeah, well, speaking of trophies, got Grammys, millions
of album sold. You played two super Bowls? Yeah, what's
that like? That was cool? And the last one little Nipplegate, Yeah, I.

Speaker 10 (01:32:06):
Got everybody forgets we were on that one. Yeah yeah yeah,
but uh now it was cool man. You know, the
crowd is great. It's the biggest stage that you can
possibly be on and it's honored to do it.

Speaker 2 (01:32:19):
Did they have a lot of rehearsals for that, because
now we talked months and months and months we did,
but no, we didn't. We didn't pretty much do months.

Speaker 10 (01:32:26):
I mean, and my first one was probably like all
of forty two seconds, sure, I probably think. And then
the second one I probably got about a minute and
a half.

Speaker 2 (01:32:35):
So that was cool. But we probably rehearsed like two
weeks like that. Not too bad. Growing up TRL one
on Sixth Park always looked like such a party. Was
it like that when you were there? Or is it
like commercial? Nobody talking? So I think we need that
type of energy back.

Speaker 10 (01:32:51):
Absolutely, that type of energy was genuine and it was
It was a blessing to be in it because you know,
people stood out in line to get your records. Sure,
you know now people don't even leave the bed, you know, yeah,
they're buying your things. And you know, we got a
chance to put posters on the walls and things like that,
so you kind of truly bought into artists. So now
if you can be an artist nowadays, that's why I

(01:33:13):
give artists that come along now a lot of credit
when they can make that impact where people are buying
into who they are, because that's that's what it really
takes right now. And that's a tough thing to do
because you get a lot of singles. People are selling
singles and people are selling moments, but to be able
to sell a career right now is tough.

Speaker 2 (01:33:29):
You mentioned your wife run in the household. For the
single fellas out there, what's a one piece of advice
they can have to like sweep the girl up, the
dreams out their feet besides being Ellie and well, I don't.

Speaker 10 (01:33:39):
Know, you know, I just try to tell just take
your time and make sure you're ready, you know, don't
let anybody, Don't let anybody rush you. That's that's the key.
Everybody has their own opinion about what they think a
relationship should be, how they think it should go, when
they think it should start. But that's truly between you
and the person that you know you want to be with,
and sometimes it takes others longer to find it than

(01:34:00):
they do. Because I would rather die married than they
have been married and got divorced. Just know that that's
he I love that you see more movies.

Speaker 2 (01:34:08):
An't time soon. As long as you Burt Reynolds. But
I mean looking legend of work man god man. Bert
was the man. Yeah, my grandmama loved Burt. I gotta
love hate relationship with mentioning Burt around like that.

Speaker 11 (01:34:20):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (01:34:20):
No, he's a great guy.

Speaker 10 (01:34:22):
But you know, I've never seen too many men with
my granny raised up and her eyes raised up, you know,
and for a black woman growing up in said Louis
eyes to raise for a white man his eyes shocking.

Speaker 2 (01:34:35):
You forget Chris Rock Reynolds. Man, did she ever get
to set to see? I know she never, she never
got a chance never. I wish I wish that was
a little bit more early.

Speaker 10 (01:34:43):
If the phones would have been the way that they
are now, I could have could have got a good FaceTime.

Speaker 2 (01:34:49):
She would have loved that. I mean, I'd have been
the man. I'd have been man. That must have been
one of the coolest sets to be on. Too. Is
Sandler and Stunk Cold and very very funny, very very funny,
all of them.

Speaker 10 (01:34:58):
You know, you got too many idiot is gonna sit
there all trying to warm up each other until Bert
talks and everybody shuts the hell up. Yeah, listen to legend, Yeah,
listen to these stories, and he's got a bunch of them.

Speaker 2 (01:35:08):
At this point your career, Man, is there anything you
haven't done? Anything? Having a chance? You did me want
to go to space?

Speaker 12 (01:35:13):
Maybe?

Speaker 10 (01:35:14):
No, No, I'm staying. I'm good right here. I'm good
right here. I ain't with all the space trips. They
just started giving me the fly maybe a couple of
years ago.

Speaker 2 (01:35:22):
You're doing the buses.

Speaker 10 (01:35:24):
That's the very first thing I bought as soon as
I got somebody, it was my own to a bus.

Speaker 2 (01:35:29):
Yeah, so no pooping on the bus, start right. That's
always the rule with talking about you just got to
pay the money to get the right toiles. Well of
them Japanese boys brushed it down, all right. You gotta
get the right one. Baby. That that that that nine
two thousand, Hell yeah, that's that power. The DSL flush.
We know it's not it's gonna flush every everything. I
never thought i'd be talk with Nelly dingle ball but toilets,

(01:35:51):
but here we are. There you go, you never know.
You know what I'm saying. It's Christmas. It's a players
to have your Nelly hot dingle ball, lazy and gum.
Remember if the head right? I'm well, I used to
be this going home now? Amen? Amen, Nelly Man appreciates you.
Hot ninety fijingle Ball last night was our sold out
Hot ninety nine five jingle Ball for Sam by Capitol

(01:36:12):
One Sauce. Your favorite moment was what.

Speaker 4 (01:36:15):
Definitely Nelly, that was so cool?

Speaker 2 (01:36:16):
What about it?

Speaker 4 (01:36:17):
I mean just being he pulled us all on stage.
I was sick.

Speaker 2 (01:36:19):
Yeah, so the AM and knight. Nelly called the entire
airstaff on stage for Jess a dream and we all
didn't really know what to do. But just being on
stage with him was very very cool, incredible.

Speaker 4 (01:36:29):
Loved it.

Speaker 2 (01:36:30):
How about you?

Speaker 5 (01:36:31):
Olivia Dean's performance was amazing, but also like getting to
talk and like just chit chat with Alex Warren. He's
just like the most Oh yeah mind absolutely protect him
at all costs.

Speaker 4 (01:36:41):
I love him so much.

Speaker 2 (01:36:42):
It was cool as going from There's a moment was
a j R. Which was high energy. Conyan Gray, high energy,
that guy amazing. Then leave. I was like, oh man,
she's gotta follow AGR and Cony Gray. How she gonna
do it? And she just did her things. She did
the damn and killed it.

Speaker 4 (01:36:56):
I feel she run CC. Didn't you go to American
she might have. I think so, Yeah, she's phenomenal.

Speaker 2 (01:37:01):
Then of course seeing Jelly with Alex Warren Miles Smith
was fantastic. Anything you miss from jingle Ball, all the interviews,
all the behind the scenes stuff. It's on the Instagram,
the TikTok at YMS Radio. Speaking of Alex Warren, He's
on the show after Olivia Dean, It's intern Johnny Morning Show,
Next Age Live, the Mercedes Ben's Iby Lounge, Hot ninety
ii FI jingle Ball with Alex Warren, Sir, what I mean?

(01:37:23):
It was a year ago this week basically right the
ordinary is born? Yeah, yeah, about at jingle Ball was
the win.

Speaker 14 (01:37:29):
It was created funny enough, it didn't come out like
I can't like nine months ago, ten months ago.

Speaker 2 (01:37:33):
Which is crazy. And also I heard too you had
a push for the song come out because originally you
were told this was not the hit. Yeah, I was told.
It took a lot of fighting for that song. Funny enough.
Does that give you the confidence now, like I know
the sound, I know what people want to hear. Yeah,
Oh my god, I mean no, I still clocked my
own teach just now. I still often wonder. I think

(01:37:55):
it's just like I've been writing songs that I like.

Speaker 14 (01:37:58):
I've been listening to my own music and I love it,
and so I bet if I like it, there's some
people out there who like it too.

Speaker 2 (01:38:04):
Well. It's gotta be cool to see it now on
stage jingle Ball when that song, sorry, it's the crowds
gotta go crazy. What's that feeling like? To see the
actual reaction to people versus streaming numbers being millions of millions.

Speaker 14 (01:38:13):
Gets me excited, funny enough, I'm, I'm, I'm. My ears
are muting, so like I don't hear anything. I don't
hear anyone out out there, so people could be quiet
as heck. And I often think that no one knows
who I am when I get on the stage. So
I when I sing yeah, well, when I sing ordinary,
I like have to pull an ear out just to
see if people are singing it, and every time they are,
and I get surprised every time by that.

Speaker 2 (01:38:35):
For some reason, is it the greatest gadget oil free
card ever? Though? With the missus where it's like, hey,
I wrote ordinary about you, you'd think that, and then
she you think that, but no, no, no, she still
clocks me on my stuff A lot. But that's good though,
because she was there before before the fame, and that's
a lot of people are kind of like, oh, like you,
how are you not?

Speaker 12 (01:38:55):
You know?

Speaker 14 (01:38:55):
This is like weird because you're like, oh, I'm nice,
I swear, but like it's like she often like people
have and go like, how are you not?

Speaker 12 (01:39:00):
Like you know?

Speaker 14 (01:39:03):
And I often say, yeah, I have my wife. I
have my wife who keeps me very grounded. She's been
a part of this from the beginning.

Speaker 2 (01:39:08):
The album You'll Be all Right Kid is fantastic. Thank you.
I mean, I think there's just so much. There's ups
and downs and everything. Did you see yourself being like
an icon maybe for kids who have gone through hard
time that hey, like it can be okay, you can
still get through the hard times.

Speaker 14 (01:39:21):
I don't know if icon is the word. I think
for me, I just I write the songs a lot
to help me get through these things. I wrote them
a lot of them in a bedroom to because I
felt like there wasn't any music that you could listen
to to help you grieve. And I don't know, for me,
it helped me a lot, and so I'm stoked whenever
people tell me that these songs have helped them in
some way.

Speaker 7 (01:39:39):
You know.

Speaker 2 (01:39:39):
It's funny because you came up in the creation game
and there was after seat Mendez was like the first
one to have like hit music. There was a whole
wave of creators who couldn't sing trying to make music.
Was it Harve, Let's be bless me real? But like,
was it Harvey? You'd be sitting back and like, I
actually am good at this and take it seriously and
like know what goes into it before releasing yourself. No

(01:40:00):
oh no, I I no, no, I get what a
rush of like it's gonna be easy to music and
it's not. Though there was a lot of people who
thought it would be easy. No, but I think everyone
should try to do music.

Speaker 14 (01:40:10):
That's the thing. Like, I think more than ever, it's
now accessible. I think that there was an influx of
a lot of cocky influencers who went into it.

Speaker 2 (01:40:18):
For sure. I don't know.

Speaker 14 (01:40:20):
I it was hard for me. It was really difficult.
I think I had to proved myself, especially just because
of everyone. And I'm still proving myself every day. I
take vocal lessons, I take guitar lessons, I do everything
still every day. I do all this, and I don't
think I belong yet. I don't think I've proven myself
no matter what. And you know, it's gonna take me
a long time. But I've heard horror stories I have.

Speaker 2 (01:40:40):
I mean the Grammy nomination, thank you, that's pretty that's
pretty cool.

Speaker 6 (01:40:43):
This is it?

Speaker 2 (01:40:43):
Pretty duck. They were the last one they nominated, though
they imagine like that'd be tough, Like we did pretty
good this past year.

Speaker 1 (01:40:49):
I know.

Speaker 14 (01:40:49):
I I think it was just a lot of people
were telling me that it was gonna happen, and I
was always like, okay, guys, like no, it's not like stop.
And when I woke up, everyone was at my house.
I was like, God, this is gonna suck if no
one's gonna suck if it doesn't happen. And I was
second to last, and Lola Young out there, I can't
imagine how you felt. I definitely was like because ordinary

(01:41:12):
and all this stuff had gotten passed up, and I
truly was like, Okay, well this is not It's not
my time. You know, maybe maybe next year I'll I'll
do more and I'll try my best again. And you know,
thankfully the Academy saw that and voted me in. Yeah,
well tonight, we'll see you on stage with Jelly Rolle.
How cool was that to be able to do a
song with the artist, because that really happens. I feel like, yeah,
I Jelly's Shelley's my neighbor. Funny enough, so when I

(01:41:34):
had written that song for a DJ and and they
passed on it and Jelly, Jelly loved it, and I
was so stuck that Jelly.

Speaker 2 (01:41:41):
Loved it and we we attacked it and I was
so stuked. It was so fun.

Speaker 14 (01:41:45):
I inspired thank you bloodline too many times. Oh yeah,
this was on my tour. I've performed this song with
though oh this would be third fourth, okay, third fourth?

Speaker 2 (01:41:55):
Yeah, yeah, well it's speaking next year, your first headline tour,
the Big tour? Is this kind of like a trial
run of like seeing what work to the jingle ball
stuff and seeing what the crowd responds.

Speaker 14 (01:42:03):
To live No, no, I think this is just fun.
And last year I was in the audience, so I
being able to watch from like the audience and like
wonder what it's like to then be on the stage.
It has been really really cool. And yeah, I don't
a lot of I think a lot of artists do
that trial run stuff. I for me, I just I
go with it and I give it my own and
if they like it or they like it, if they don't,

(01:42:24):
it's not my crowd. Is it cool to see young
kids on stage singing back to you?

Speaker 2 (01:42:28):
It's weird. It's really strange because like I, well, adults,
adults scream at me too, by the way, yeah, old man,
ye no, yeah, it's it's strange.

Speaker 14 (01:42:39):
It's strange just because I was there, like I was
a fan first, And I think that's also why when
I'm on stage like it's it means so much because
I know what it's like to wait in parking lots
for hours trying to get out of a venue or
pay forty dollars for a hot dog at a venue.
So I totally get and understand where they are and
and it makes it makes it feel a lot better.

Speaker 2 (01:43:00):
Kind of being in that position and understanding that. So
the tour starts next year. Do we have another album
in the work, So what's the plan with Yeah, I
mean I'm working on it. I want I want to
let this one sit. Obviously, it's been twenty one songs,
So I'm touring that I've never done a proper tour
of this album. I started touring and then started playing
some of the songs, and then I've only done one
and a secondary marget of the whole entire album. So

(01:43:22):
I'm really excited to kind of play that and maybe
play some new songs during this year.

Speaker 4 (01:43:26):
How'd you get Jennifer Aniston to be in that video?

Speaker 14 (01:43:28):
Jennifer's a friend of mine, so jen Flex Yeah, so Golley, Yeah,
she had facetimed me and I played, I played her,
I played her ordinary and we did. We've just talked
ever since, and so when I asked her to do this,
she was like, please, I would love to, and she
showed up. She knocked it out in like an hour,
and I was like, wow, go pro and acting. She's

(01:43:49):
pretty good.

Speaker 2 (01:43:49):
That yeah. I told her that too.

Speaker 14 (01:43:51):
I was that inseparable guy, you know when someone comes
up to you and they're like, did you like the food?

Speaker 2 (01:43:55):
And I'm like, oh, I hated it, and your your
plates clean. I was that guy. I was that's it's
so cool to have you here. We announced you're playing
the show, like the phones look up. I think you
were the big big draoperating the ball again. I really
no my God, yeah, Docu. I just think because life's
tough sometimes. I think there's a great quote about heroes
and villains and how they both have bad things happen
to them. The villain decides the pain I feel, I

(01:44:17):
want the whole world to feel it. The hero decides, oh,
I'm make sure nobody feels that again. And I think
that you have taken things no positives again. I think
some people know like it's okay if there's bad things happening,
we can push through and be okay. I really think
I hope you know that you've made a difference in
eighteen thousand people's lives in DC tonight. Well that means
a lot. Seriously, it's been no, no, no, I'm into it.
I loved it. But one last thing for us common folks.

(01:44:39):
When we see somebody in the hallway or at the
mall we don't want to see again, you know, oh
we should hang out some time, Like, oh, yeah, I
totally it's never gonna happen. As a musician, you ever
run any musicians, they go, oh, we should work sometime.
You go sure, and then like I'm never gonna tell me,
like I would you ever work with you? Yeah? You know,
like I still want to work with you. I'm a
big music guy. I love like I don't think i've
ever I also like, I'm scared of rejections, so I've
never been like we shu work sometime, Like I've never

(01:45:01):
done that because I well, I'm terrified to someone and
be like no, so like I I quite literally don't
it Just it naturally weirdly happens.

Speaker 14 (01:45:09):
I'll show someone a song and they'll like it. I'd
be like, it'd be so weird if you like cut
a verse and they're like, wait, cut can I And
I'd be like.

Speaker 2 (01:45:15):
You're pretty silly.

Speaker 14 (01:45:16):
Yeah, no, yeah, It's like that type of thing. So
that's just that's that's kind of how a lot of
my collabs have happened. Or like someone will approach me,
which has been really such a blessing, and it's like again,
I love it.

Speaker 2 (01:45:26):
I would love to do collabs with people. I love
working with people.

Speaker 14 (01:45:29):
I love music. I love everyone's different types of music.
Like I could never make girl pop music the way
like Zara does, and I am so inspired in awe
of her.

Speaker 2 (01:45:38):
I wish I could.

Speaker 14 (01:45:39):
I wish I had that bone in me, but I
I write I just thrive in depressing music and she
is so freaking good And I tell her, I told
her and Leve well sure selling Leba, I was like,
you guys just inspire me so much and it's really cool.
