Just need to hear from you. Eight seven seven four
six stay one to call nine nine three three eight
to text Shelby Sauce. How was your Thanksgiving? How was
your weekend?

Speaker 3 (00:41):
It was good.

Speaker 4 (00:42):
I went to my parents' friend's house. They throw like
a big party every year, and that was nice because
I went two years ago, so like the last like
three years, I guess I've kind of celebrated Thanksgiving. Uh,
but last year I went after or like two years ago,
I went after dinner, so I was just there for
the drinking.

Speaker 3 (01:00):
This year is there for both.

Speaker 4 (01:01):
It was fun and then uh Friday, I had like
a girls night with my friends and my friend I
don't really know why I didn't actually ask, but she
makes lemon cello every holiday night, and yeah, so we
uh had all these like lemons leftover, so we decided
to take lemons shot lemon drop shots, because what else

(01:21):
are you gonna do with all those lemons besides my lemonade?

Speaker 3 (01:23):
And it was Friday night, so.

Speaker 4 (01:25):
We did that, and then I made this like really
extensive list of holiday bars in the area, like for
the DMV, and so we're gonna start like knocking them off.
And then I just decided to go home, you know
how I get. I'm like, I don't feel like bang
out right now, and so I literally just like went home.
And then the rest of the weekend I just wasn't

(01:47):
feeling great, so I just kind of.

Speaker 3 (01:48):
Stayed and chilled.

Speaker 4 (01:49):
I finished decorating, and finally I finished de creating yesterday.
I don't know where I'm gonna put some of my
little baby trees, but that I mean, it looks fine.

Speaker 3 (01:58):
I don't love my creating.

Speaker 2 (02:00):
Are we talking?

Speaker 5 (02:01):
I don't know.

Speaker 4 (02:01):
I think I have like forty I don't know why
I got so many, but I think some of them
came in sets, So I just kind of ended up
with them and they they were fine in my last apartment,
but this apartment they just don't really like. I think
I have a lot of them last year, to be honest,
in this apartment they don't really I don't have a
place for them. So yeah, other than that, I just
did a bunch of adult stuff and took I watched

(02:24):
a ton of Christmas movies and that's really it. I
finished on doing my Christmas stuff and it looks fine.

Speaker 3 (02:29):
I don't know. I think the next day I'll just
get a green tree.

Speaker 2 (02:32):
Any favorites in the Christmas movies? Anything stand out?

Speaker 4 (02:35):
I like the new Lindsay Lowhand one. I thought that
was really cute and funny. Our Little Secret I think
it's called Yeah, it's cute. It's on Netflix, all right,
the Dorps. I did watch Plane, Trains and Automobiles yesterday,
did you I did?

Speaker 3 (02:47):
And I was fine. It was fine. I was like,
what else?

Speaker 2 (02:50):
Did you see the ending?

Speaker 6 (02:52):
Yes?

Speaker 4 (02:52):
Yes, I saw that ending. It was really sad. The ending, Yeah,
where they become friends. Yeah, that's not spoiler. They came
out in nineteen eight, like reveals that he isn't a
home Oh, yeah, when he was like talking weirdly and
like he was just kind of like everywhere that they guy, yes.

Speaker 2 (03:05):
You realize it. Yes, I guess I was six the
first time I saw.

Speaker 4 (03:08):
Halfway through it, I was like, I was like, something's
not really math in here. And then he's like talking
about how he's like he pushes people away by being
too much, and I'm like, someone says about me.

Speaker 2 (03:16):
So there's this scene where he goes to the rental
car place and he's talking to a lady and like
he starts swearing yes. So we used to watch. My
parents watched it every Wednesday before Thanksgiving, and the first
year my brother and I got to watch with them,
I must have been like six and four or eight
and six whatever. But they put on close captioning. My
mom said, we never read so fast in our lives.

Speaker 7 (03:37):
Wow.

Speaker 3 (03:37):
And that's how we believe it.

Speaker 2 (03:39):
Officially what those words were because close captionings like yeah
it is in bold letters.

Speaker 3 (03:43):
Yeah, yeah, classic film. I believe it.

Speaker 4 (03:45):
I was supposed to go to the Ravens game last night.
My friend that was gonna go with like he wasn't
feeling well and I was I think I just like
have a little cold, like it's nothing crazy, But I
was like, I can't miss anything this week, like workwise,
so I'm just going to stay in and take care
of myself. But like everyone was sick and and I'm
kind of glad that I didn't go to the game
because yeah, it was not great.

Speaker 2 (04:05):
Damn great was your weekend?

Speaker 8 (04:08):
It was a really good little Thanksgiving break. So we
went to ice at the Gaylord Resort. We went with
Charlie and Clint's grandma and her husband, and it was
so much fun. Charlie is obsessed, like she wants to
go back the little ice slide. She went down by herself,
which was so cute. I kept asking her. I was like,

(04:29):
what was your favorite part about ice?

Speaker 3 (04:30):
And she goes the slide made of ice and she
I mean, it was super cold in there. So it
was just really fun.

Speaker 8 (04:37):
And then yesterday we finally took some family pictures. It's
been a minute since we've done that, and just from like.

Speaker 3 (04:46):
The sneak peak of what I saw on the camera,
they're so good. I cannot wait for it.

Speaker 8 (04:51):
It was way colder than what I was anticipating, which
seems to be part for the course. Whenever I planned
family pictures. So Georgia wasn't too who thrilled about that?
But it was really really fun. We got some pretty
cute pictures.

Speaker 2 (05:04):
That's awesome. I know, I'm excited. So for Thanksgiving I
went with Sauce to her family friend's place. That was
a good group of like folks where you walk in
you feel like you and everybody, even though I need nobody. Yeah,
and so like, very good group of folks. Had a
lovelace to got with your father dead. Yeah, it's a
good man.

Speaker 3 (05:22):
I'm biased.

Speaker 2 (05:23):
We're both concerned about you.

Speaker 3 (05:25):
You're not what we are.

Speaker 2 (05:26):
I'll tell you about that later. I've been holding on
to this since Thursday, and I'm gonna make you wait
just a few more hours.

Speaker 4 (05:32):
Okay, it's what I think it is. My dad already
mentioned it on Thursday. Wait what he's like, You're just
never gonna get married or ever. I was kidding my
dad brought up on Thursday. I was like, okay, they
probably giving not the place.

Speaker 2 (05:47):
Dad.

Speaker 3 (05:48):
I was like, have I when's the last time I
brought like a man home?

Speaker 2 (05:51):
Yeah?

Speaker 3 (05:52):
I don't even know.

Speaker 7 (05:53):
Actually probably seven years I was I was just kidding. Wow, thanks, Yeah,
we talked about dude stuff. It was okay, And then
I saw a Gladiator on.

Speaker 2 (06:05):
Maybe that was Wednesday. I saw Gladiator that was really
good when it was odds, So I went to because
we had for the bar that I'm involved with. Obviously
Wednesday was a huge drinking day. But so I had
like hours to come, like when's I gonna see Gladiator?
And uh, usually I picked like the movie seats a
cup by myself where you know they book them in
tues basically the seed. I picked them like this would
be perfect. Nobody's just next to me. Theater was sold out, okay,

(06:28):
so like like literally some dude bought the other seat, yeah,
which was like I've never haven't been in a movie
theater that was packed packed like maybe since the pandemic
Oppenhammer and Barbie. The only two times were like every
seat's been taken. It was a weird thing. And also
I realized the mob people that left to go to
the bathroom. The movie is like two and a half
hours long. I don't think we're trained to sit that

(06:49):
long and watch movies any nose. Now you pause it,
you can go with your phone go to the bathroom.
So like it's it's almost like having to retrain your
brain too. Yeah, at your movie again.

Speaker 4 (07:00):
I do feel like in the last like two years
even I a lot more people have been going into movies.
And maybe that's just because, like you're still we were
still coming out of the pandemic in twenty twenty two.
But I do feel like lately, like the last few
year's so many more people haven't going to the movie
theaters because you know, I don't love going to movie theaters.

Speaker 2 (07:14):
I think it's a far better experience for I have
one thing, like the movies are made to be watched
in the theater. For two, it forced you to actually
pay attention. We get how do you get us a
screen to Mortal Kombat? Like in the height of the pandemic? Okay,
And so that was probably, I don't know, twenty and
twenty one, maybe ish, And so that was our first
time in a theater like a year and a half
and like being like, oh, we actually have to pay attention. Yeah,

(07:36):
like that it's a different vibe than like the m
my phone.

Speaker 3 (07:39):
And the last time I.

Speaker 4 (07:40):
Went to a movie theater was when I saw Dune
two and I had a kidney infection, so I didn't
actually know I had one. I was just like not
feeling great. So I was like, this is fine. It's
a long movie.

Speaker 3 (07:50):
I can just lay here in this big chair.

Speaker 2 (07:51):
Did you see the first one?

Speaker 1 (07:52):
No?

Speaker 3 (07:54):
She went to the second one.

Speaker 4 (07:55):
I just went to the second one. No idea what
was going on I was seeing? Was like, do you
want to see it? I was like, I mean, and
everybody else is seeing it kind of, and I was like,
I don't feel great. I can lay on your couch.
I didn't lay across the street in the movie theater.

Speaker 9 (08:05):
Well.

Speaker 2 (08:06):
I also so when I left the theater, posted the
video saying I saw Wicked even though I didn't. Oh yeah,
I was talking about how it's crazy nobody told me
that they basically ripped off Wizard of Oz and the
amount of people who did not get that joke. I
was like, it's basically ants in a bug life.

Speaker 4 (08:20):
And then wow, I don't want to like Victim William.
You kind of did ask for that though. Really, people,
I'm very passionate about Wicked because I mentioned on one
of the weekend shows, I do how why are there
all these like Wicked pop ups right now?

Speaker 3 (08:33):
I want holiday pop ups?

Speaker 4 (08:34):
And people are like, wow, you just you just had Halloween,
Like why would like you have all people?

Speaker 3 (08:38):
When I send.

Speaker 4 (08:39):
Halloween, I are complaining about Wicked. Wow, I saw a
Wicked plague when I was like young. I just like
I'm ready for like the holiday pobs.

Speaker 2 (08:48):
I was just doing a bit right, pretend to know
the obvious thing and then see who gets the bit
and who thinks they're smarter than me and explained to me.
And that's always fun.

Speaker 10 (08:56):
Yeah, I mean so, by the way, John, yes, and
for anyone else, there is an app in case you
don't know, it's called run Pe, and it'll tell you
the best time of the movie to go usea so
that way you don't miss anything important.

Speaker 8 (09:12):
That's especially when you can't hold it like Wicked. I'm
looking right now two hours and forty.

Speaker 2 (09:16):
Minutes, yeah, glad, here's like two twenty ish. Yeah, okay,
which I started to realize the movie started at seven,
but then well in quotes, it's legit thirty minutes of previews,
so it's like really started seven thirty.

Speaker 3 (09:28):
Oh yeah, that's a long time.

Speaker 2 (09:29):
It's now doing ads too. It's not just previous, it's
like actual like Macy's and Toyota. Really yeah, oh yeah,
long commercials.

Speaker 3 (09:37):
Yeah, what movie theater?

Speaker 2 (09:39):
It was the AMC and Clarendon. Oh and then you've
seen Nicole Kidmen.

Speaker 3 (09:42):
Do you hear Nicole Kidman?

Speaker 2 (09:44):
Almost awkward?

Speaker 3 (09:45):
It is a random I like, I love Nicole Kivien,
and I'm like why it's just iconic at this point.

Speaker 2 (09:51):
The last time she was in movie theater? Yeah, I mean.

Speaker 3 (09:53):
Actually act like the movie for me?

Speaker 2 (09:57):
Yeah, yeah, but like that's that's like the that's yeah,
Zachron awkward movie.

Speaker 3 (10:04):
I was gonna say, when was the last time she
was in a movie that was in a movie theater?

Speaker 8 (10:08):
Because I feel like a lot of the movies she's
been in lately has been on like Netflix.

Speaker 2 (10:11):
Yeah, well probably around there. As the three things need
to know for your Monday coming with.

Speaker 8 (10:19):
You off for us, we're going to talk about Festival
of Lights.

Speaker 2 (10:22):
First, Miles Smith, It's interns. Martine was sauce that your
father and I was like exchanging stories. We're two two men,
different stages of life, who both have had to deal
with you for extended period of time, and we're just
exchanging our shared experiences.

Speaker 3 (10:36):
Yeah, that's all. I'm second, You're not You're not giving
me an examples or not.

Speaker 2 (10:41):
Wow, what I will say. No, I'm not going to
say that one.

Speaker 3 (10:46):
Are you serious? Grow up? Your your job is to talk,
So why don't you drive?

Speaker 2 (10:53):
I'd say it to your face.

Speaker 11 (10:55):
But.

Speaker 3 (10:58):
Sorry, why would you even bring it up? You know,
as my father text me.

Speaker 2 (11:02):
Dad, I'd say it to your face. Just I just
want to say, to the faces of millions of people listening,
I know the one thing I said about you, and
I know I know I love you. Can you be
a bit stubborn? Yes? I said. The thing with Shelby
is it's like, if you know they put rats and
mazes to find the cheese. You can't just show her
where the cheese is. She's got to go her own path,
and it might be the longer path than like the

(11:23):
one that's straight and easy. But that's just Shelby. She
just can do a rum little path.

Speaker 3 (11:27):
Like how like when have I done done that?

Speaker 12 (11:31):
Sorry?

Speaker 2 (11:31):
All the time, all the time we're.

Speaker 4 (11:35):
Concerned about They like to figure things out on my own,
so they don't trust.

Speaker 2 (11:38):
I think maybe I phrased as with Shelby, you can't.
You can you can like set up the guardrails and
hope she finds the way. But if you tell her
what way you do things, She's just not gonna do it.

Speaker 3 (11:45):
Yeah, I don't trust it.

Speaker 2 (11:47):
Yeah, so there's the Yeah, why.

Speaker 4 (11:49):
Not figure out yourself and learn through adversity and just
listen and listen to someone that I don't believe a
word they're saying, like, why would I do that?

Speaker 3 (11:58):
That's how people die every day, every day, John people dot.

Speaker 2 (12:01):
I also said I had this thought, I say it
to your dad, I'll tell it to you now. And
I think Sauce is the person where she was drowning
and you threw her a life vest. She'd be like, oh,
you think I can't swim, You can't swim.

Speaker 3 (12:16):
You my last time? Thank you.

Speaker 2 (12:23):
I can't swim. I told you she has gone this boat.
That would be the last.

Speaker 3 (12:26):
I probably be like I was on swim team. But
thank you.

Speaker 2 (12:29):
Yes from the.

Speaker 5 (12:32):
City Changes the World, Peers Rose with three things you
need to know for Monday.

Speaker 3 (12:38):
Rose for us goodness.

Speaker 8 (12:39):
Okay, So yesterday President Biden pardon pardoned his son Hunter
Biden Hunter her face sentencing this month for federal tax
and gun convictions and the Samen. The President said this
is a full and unconditional pardon, meaning it cannot be
rescinded by President elect Donald Trump. Biden has repeatedly and
publicly said that he would not pardon his son. However,
in partnering, he said, quote no reasonable person who looks

(13:03):
at the facts of Hunter's case can reach any other
conclusion that Hunter was singled out only because he is
my son, and that is wrong.

Speaker 3 (13:10):
End quote.

Speaker 8 (13:10):
Pardon covers quote those offenses against the United States which
he has committed, or may have committed, or taken part
in during the period from January first, twenty fourteen, through
December one, twenty twenty four So, the DAC Department of
Health is hosting an event in honor of World AIDS Day.
The event is tonight at the Hamilton Live In at

(13:31):
Northwest DC that includes refreshments, free HIV.

Speaker 3 (13:34):
Test and music.

Speaker 8 (13:35):
The agency says the event is meant to honor those
who have died as well as those who are living
and thriving with while dealing with HIV. And by the way,
the White House celebrated World AIDS Day yesterday by displaying
the AIDS Memorial Quilt on the South Lawn.

Speaker 3 (13:51):
And I do want to give Shelby a moment to
talk about the Whitman Walker walk. This was it this
weekend on Saturday.

Speaker 4 (14:00):
You'll be at Anacostia Park to do the walk, so
you can sign up. We have it up on the
website ymsradio dot com. But it starts at eight and
it ends at eleven and you can walk a run.
It doesn't last the entire time. We'll just be there
for that time and yeah, sign up. Yeah that thounds
are really cool.

Speaker 8 (14:18):
And if you want to get festive this holiday season,
Prince George's Counties Festival of Lights and Upper Marlborough is
I mean, it's happening now. So there are three miles
of holiday scenes made up of more than two point
five million lights to open every day from five to
nine thirty and that goes through January first. So new
this year is a hay ride through the displays.

Speaker 3 (14:40):
It's pretty cool.

Speaker 8 (14:41):
It's happening like every Saturday at the top of the hour.
There is preregistration that's required for that. Tickets if you
want to go sold to the gate cheaper online though,
so go ahead and do that. And what's also awesome
is it'll be free on Christmas Day. All that they're
asking is you bring a can good that they can
donate to families that need through the county.

Speaker 3 (15:02):
So did you check that out? I'm Rose. Those are
the three things you need to know for the day,
ankor Rose.

Speaker 2 (15:06):
You're welcome catching cheters War the Roses less than an
hour from now. I'm beyond interested to talk to her.
So we got the email this past weekend. I guess
she got a little bit too turned at a friends party.
Her man brought her home and then left mild night.
Came back hours later. Yeah, poring you a ring camera,
which is wild because he's saying he didn't go anywhere,

(15:27):
So could be a ghost, could be a could be
a twin who knows?

Speaker 3 (15:31):
Probably know?

Speaker 2 (15:32):
Sure, yeah, sure, New War the Roses around seven to fifteen.
If you can't be here live, get the podcast. Just
search intern John in your morning show wherever you listen,
or download the free iHeartRadio app. You can listen live
twenty four to seven. Right there. We were talking a
couple of weeks ago about that banana art piece where
it's like the guy who taped duct taped to the
wall and then they're gonna sell it and like it

(15:54):
was going for like it went for six point two
million dollars.

Speaker 3 (15:57):
Yeah, insane, I mean.

Speaker 2 (15:59):
You think that's dumb money. So the guy who bought
his name is Justin's son. He's a billionaire crypto entrepreneur.
He bought the art piece again. It's literally just a
banana duct taped to a wall titled Comedian by this
Italian artist. He paid six point two million dollars for it.
Posted a video over the weekend eating the banana.

Speaker 3 (16:20):
Okay, the banana? What a what a.

Speaker 2 (16:23):
Power move it is? I mean, yeah, to literally it's
a six million dollar banana. Yeah.

Speaker 8 (16:29):
Ate that better than the most delicious banana this man
has ever eaten.

Speaker 2 (16:34):
So we put the video up. He described the tasting
quote for a banana with such backstory, the taste is
naturally different.

Speaker 3 (16:45):
That's art.

Speaker 5 (16:46):
Yeah, that the taste is naturally different. Yeah he uh,
we wouldn't understand. I get it, he said, quote. I
want to eat it to become a part of the history. Yeah,
he out added the value of the art goes beyond
the physical piece, encompassing its history, interaction ownership.

Speaker 2 (17:05):
Sounds like an NFT. It's not just that, remember the
NFT things like listen, you know there's like art. Yeah,
what if you had the digital version of it? And
I still maintained that was the biggest like money laundering scheme. Yeah,
for sure, because it's like I could just take a
screenshot of it. Yeah, but you don't own the digital version. Yeah,
I have a screenshot of that, so yeah, you just can't.

(17:26):
So this banana marks the third edition of the artwork,
with each previous version also consumed after purchase.

Speaker 3 (17:33):
Didn't know that I was not even the first to
do it.

Speaker 4 (17:36):
Yeah, you just I was gonna say, I feel like
we've seen this, like the same exact thing happened like
four years ago, the duct tape banana.

Speaker 2 (17:44):
Yeah. Well it's kind of reminiscent of there was that
app when the iPhone first came out called the I'm
risch app, which was a million dollars and also is
I'm Rich and Soldier Boy tell him was the one
to buy the app? The app? Yeah, I would say
it's probably fair.

Speaker 11 (18:01):
Man.

Speaker 4 (18:02):
I upset this year when Tray or Joe's raised their
banana prices because they always like had them at nineteen cents, yeah,
and then they went up to twenty three. So I
would go there just for their bananas because they were
the cheapest. Sure, but when you start eating bananas like
I do, and you save that much money, you would
do the same.

Speaker 3 (18:15):
So yeah, hey getting that big banana girl.

Speaker 2 (18:18):
Yeah, they are pay six million dollars a banana thinker.

Speaker 4 (18:22):
No, I got mad that I couldn't pay nineteen cents
for a single banana anymore.

Speaker 2 (18:25):
So that's fair. There you go. If I'm being poor today, everybody.

Speaker 3 (18:29):
I know, I try poor today. I try.

Speaker 2 (18:31):
We're gonna do it. I sawce Hazard Entertainment Port coming next.
What you got for us?

Speaker 4 (18:35):
We're gonna be talking about how sorry with the movie
theater box office just broke a ton.

Speaker 3 (18:40):
Of records for the last few days. I'm gonna tell
you what happened.

Speaker 2 (18:42):
Yeah, and a happy Monday friend. Thanks hanging out, interns,
John and your morning show. We love to see you.

Speaker 4 (19:36):
So Billboard has issued an apology to Taylor Swift after
mistakingly including a clip of her naked wax figure from
Kanye west controversial twenty sixteen music video Famous, and a
montage celebrate her achievement. They said, quote, we are deeply
sorry to Taylor Swift in all of our readers and viewers,
and sincerely regret the harm we cause with this error.
They actually put that on their Instagram and confirm that

(19:58):
the clip has been or removed. The video has been
regarded as like a ton of different things that we're
not going to keep dive today. But it's nice that
they finally issued an apology. But also I feel like
they may have only done it because I said last
week how Billboard has been putting out slowly the list
of the best pop stars of the twenty first century,

(20:19):
and they highlighted Taylor Swift's cultural impact, celebrating her as
the number two greatest pop star of the twenty first century.

Speaker 3 (20:27):
I'm not gonna lie.

Speaker 4 (20:27):
I was pretty surprised because we know the number one's
gonna Beyonce, and I understand like they could be interchangeable.

Speaker 3 (20:33):
I just am a little surprised. That's it.

Speaker 4 (20:36):
They did acknowledge the backlash they expected the swiftet since
they did not name her as number one.

Speaker 3 (20:40):
That person will be named tomorrow. We still have to wait.
And Nick Cannon.

Speaker 4 (20:45):
Has revealed that he was recently diagnosed with narcissistic Personality's order.
He said, quote, I've always been curious about getting tested
for different things.

Speaker 3 (20:52):
Now I know I'm neuro divergent.

Speaker 4 (20:55):
And then he said, it's all part of the journey
appealing and understanding myself better. He previously had been diagnosed
with ADHD and dyslexia, and he said he embraces therapy
and mental health awareness as part of his growth, his
personal growth. And then he also just discussed earlier this
month about how he recognized NPD traits like lack of
empathy and rage within himself. He said, quote, I'm just

(21:17):
trying to be the best father father I can be
and make the best of the situation that I've created.
So he didn't know he has twelve kids with six
women and he's just, yeah, trying to be better. It's
good that he's like trying to understand his mental health.
Though I think that's so important. I know what I've
talked about, but I do think that's very important. And
thanks to three movies, the Thanksgiving movie box office has
hit an all time high. So the five day haul

(21:41):
over the holiday, it's over, and it brought in over
four hundred and twenty million dollars this year. So people
went to go Seemoana, two Wicket, and Gladiator too, and
that breaks the record that was set in twenty eighteen
when Ralph Breaks the Internet was in US theaters over
Thanksgiving and helped the box office full in over sixteen
million dollar.

Speaker 3 (22:00):
So that was just on a single day.

Speaker 4 (22:02):
So AMC Theaters CEO Aaron says that this weekend was
a national phenomenon, so pretty cool. If you're looking for
something to watch the night, there's not a ton on TV.
But we got the Broncos playing the Browns that's on ESPN,
the Voice on NBC. And then our little secret is
that Lindsay Lohan movie I watch on Netflix.

Speaker 3 (22:19):
I think it's really cute and you should watch it.

Speaker 2 (22:21):
Is it the usual? Like Christmas?

Speaker 4 (22:23):
H kind of but it's it's funny, Okay, I don't know.
I thought it was cute. She did one last year.
I thought it was really good too. Oh yeah, the
one was she was being like this or whatever.

Speaker 2 (22:35):
Yeah, that's really good.

Speaker 3 (22:36):
Get out cute.

Speaker 2 (22:36):
Thank you, Sausagine, welcome everything to watch us up if
he needs something to listen to New Thoughts Shower podcasts
out how to know if you fall too quickly. You
can check it ymssradio dot com. You can file this
under one of the craziest stories of the year. And
I realized it's December second.

Speaker 12 (22:51):
Okay.

Speaker 2 (22:51):
There is this woman in the country of Georgia who
she In twenty sixteen, the woman who was raised in
her passed away. She thought that was her mom. Okay,
she is cleaned out her mom's house, found a birth
certificate with her own name on it, but the birth
date was wrong.

Speaker 3 (23:08):
Okay.

Speaker 2 (23:09):
From that, she realized she was adopted and the woman
who raised her never told her she was adopted. Oh
so she did some research maya Facebook group which translates
to I'm searching basically helping people find hoping to find
her birth parents.

Speaker 3 (23:24):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (23:25):
So she uncovered a baby trafficking scandal in Georgia, the
country that's affected tens of thousands of lives over many decades.
Parents were lied to until their newborn babies had passed on.
The infants were then sold.

Speaker 3 (23:39):
Didn't that happen in Tennessee?

Speaker 4 (23:40):
I mean, I know, I know it's happened like for years,
But that happened like years ago in Tennessee.

Speaker 2 (23:44):
Maybe I don't remember for sure. So she's a journalist.
Her work has reunited one hundreds of families, which is
good obviously, but she wanted to find her own family
as well. So the breakthrough came this past summer. She
received a message to her Facebook group from someone who
lived in rural Georgia again the country, yeah, who said
they knew a woman who had conceal the pregnancy and

(24:08):
gave birth in September nineteen eighty four, around the time
she was actually born. Okay, okay, the person believed that
that was actually her mom and gave a name.

Speaker 3 (24:16):
Does means I don't like it?

Speaker 4 (24:18):
So yeah, I'm glad that she's like trying to find
her family, but still, this is crazy.

Speaker 2 (24:22):
So she immediately searched online. She couldn't find anything. She
decided to post an appeal on Facebook asking if anybody
knew the woman she thought was her mom. Somebody else responded,
saying the woman who would conceal the pregnancy was her
own aunt. They took a DNA test for to be correct.
Oh wow, okay, so this is where gets really weird.
So she did like the twenty three and meters, was

(24:43):
able to find the name of who her dad was. Yeah,
he was a fan of her work and was following
along and they were Facebook friends.

Speaker 4 (24:50):
What yeah wo wait, like what was her work or
just like trying to find her doing.

Speaker 2 (24:55):
Because she's a journalist who was like reuniting kids with
their families. Some even found along for years, like as
a fan of her work.

Speaker 3 (25:01):
Oh my gosh.

Speaker 2 (25:02):
So he said that he had no idea that the
birth mother was even pregnant. So this dude like she
had no idea what his entire life the daughter out there.

Speaker 3 (25:11):
So cool though, because it's like he was like drawn
to her.

Speaker 2 (25:13):
Yeah just throw her work, which is crazy.

Speaker 3 (25:16):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (25:16):
So they met in his hometown. She says that when
they met, it was like an instant kind of calmness. Yeah,
and almost like they knew each other, which is just like, Yeah.

Speaker 4 (25:25):
It's little lot to unpack when you're already grieving Oh yeah,
but you're like, wait a second, I'm adopted.

Speaker 2 (25:31):
Wait, why are the odds?

Speaker 3 (25:32):
Oh my god.

Speaker 2 (25:33):
Meanwhile, dad's just being a dad, just like mindlessly. Oh
this is great.

Speaker 4 (25:36):
He's like, Wow, I love the work that she's doing.
She's such a great person. Wait on your dad. Yeah,
I didn't even know Itzy Crazy Act was pregnant.

Speaker 2 (25:43):
Well, if you want more to put up on these
socials at WYMS Radio, I want to get to this
next two for your Monday The reason You're still single
even though you're a catch? First jinglele artist Gracie Abrams,
intern John, She's War of the Roads is about thirty
minutes away. On an intern John in your morning show.
He brought her back to her place this weekend. I
guess she had a little bit too much to drink
at a party. Then he left for several hours. Even

(26:05):
though he claims he did, the video footage suggests otherwise.
Is he cheating? We'll find out. Seven point fifteen. I
thought this is interesting. Sauce sent this to me. The
reasons You're single even though you're a catch. Sauce, you
are currently single? Yes, Rose married for four years?

Speaker 3 (26:21):
Uh yeah.

Speaker 2 (26:22):
On the this is geared towards women, I'll say that.
So do you feel mostly if you feel like these
will relate to you? Sauce starting with you refuse to
follow a timeline?

Speaker 3 (26:34):
Yeah, I think I do.

Speaker 4 (26:35):
You think when I was younger, when I still lived
in Pasena, I was trying to and then when I
got away from that, I don't think I really follow
a timeline at all anymore.

Speaker 2 (26:43):
Yeah. They say women who settle are the ones who
think they running out of time and that true love
isn't in the cars for them. They say, it's not
the case for you. You know your person's out there,
You're not settling for anything less.

Speaker 4 (26:54):
Yeah, that's how I do feel like that, right.

Speaker 2 (26:56):
I think there's definitely you. You're waiting for somebody worthy.

Speaker 4 (27:00):
Yes, I definitely think that, Yes girl, Yeah, yes, date
with intention.

Speaker 2 (27:05):
They say you're amazing, so why would you even bother
being with someone who doesn't equal you in that?

Speaker 3 (27:09):
Yes, I don't disagree.

Speaker 2 (27:10):
You're looking for someone who can match your energy, intellect,
sense of humor, passion for life, and tell someone like
that comes along, you'll be just fine.

Speaker 4 (27:17):
Yeah, because I know that if I were to settle,
I would get really bored and I would be unhappy,
so then I don't want to be stuck. I would
feel really trapped with the rest of my life if
I did that, which would suck. Yeah, that would not
be fun for.

Speaker 2 (27:28):
A long time to feel trapped. Yeah, yeah, you're busy
giving other things.

Speaker 4 (27:32):
Yeah, I do feel like a lot of the time
with dating, I hadn't been dating much until I moved
well not even when I move back here, but anyway,
I just I feel like I was like too busy,
like working or traveling. That was like a big thing
where I was just never in one spot. So it's
hard to like actually date.

Speaker 2 (27:48):
It makes sense. They say it's not the right time,
so why push something or not one hundred percent about yet?

Speaker 3 (27:53):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (27:54):
Yeah, they say it's not good idea to force things.
Taken a time to figure out who you are and
you want a great reasons.

Speaker 4 (28:00):
I definitely do that for a long time where I
just didn't date for a while because I just didn't
know who I was.

Speaker 3 (28:05):
I think it's fair enough.

Speaker 2 (28:07):
Who are you?

Speaker 3 (28:11):
Okay, I don't who am I? That's a very loaded.

Speaker 4 (28:15):
I'm sorry, it's like not even seven am.

Speaker 3 (28:17):
That's not like a question answer in a sentence.

Speaker 4 (28:21):
I do think that I'm an extrovert, introvert in that
I do need a loan, time to regroup, and I
don't like to feel pressured to do anything. So if
I've realized it in dating, when people want like they have,
like I really like my routine, and so I know
that you need to compromise in relationships. But also I
don't like dating people that will pressure me to like

(28:44):
go to things that I just don't want to do,
and I know that that's compromised. But also like going
out on a weekend, I just like have already decided
I don't want to go out on Like, don't keep
asking me to do things, you know what I mean,
Like when like I say I'm staying out, I'm staying
in this weekend, and then people keep trying to peer
pressure me to go out, Like for example, Thanksgiving Eve,
I got so many texts from so many different people
like why aren't you coming out and trying to guilt

(29:05):
trip me, and it just makes my night at home
not fun. So I put my phone on like, actually,
do not disturb, so I couldn't get any alert not
me though, No I don't think you did, No you didn't,
but yeah, so I think I like to travel, and
I like and I know that I'm gonna put myself
first before I can ever put someone else before me.

Speaker 3 (29:22):
It's gonna take a long time to get to that.
You'll take a long time for me to let anyone in.
So that's who I am. Surface level.

Speaker 4 (29:29):
There's four seven am in the morning when my brain's
not really woken up.

Speaker 2 (29:32):
But somebody could be listening to this at five pm.
Think about that.

Speaker 4 (29:34):
And I'm fun, out going, I like to read, and
I like a clean house.

Speaker 3 (29:40):
All right, that's my makeup area.

Speaker 2 (29:43):
Well, I get that though the girl We've all been
there before. This is definitely your confidence can be intimidating.

Speaker 3 (29:49):
Yeah, I guess, I guess it can be. I don't know.

Speaker 4 (29:53):
I'm not anybody else. I just I'm saying, like.

Speaker 2 (29:55):
It may be. I think that's very fair for you.

Speaker 3 (29:57):
Maybe I'm a little intimidating.

Speaker 2 (30:00):
Definitely intimidating, especially because your stature, like there's a lot
of anger, and that's that can like, you can be
very intimidating because sometimes your face will say if a
body doesn't, sometimes you do on purpose. So yes, you're
also very successful. I think that can be intimidating. The folks.
I guess, so I think, except nothing you're doing wrong,
I think that's that's fair.

Speaker 4 (30:17):
I also have realized that dating here. I was talking
about this with my friend yesterday. It's just weird because
I didn't love dating Atlanta because that was such an entertainment,
little like Hollywood vibe. So people I didn't know if
they were with me because you know, of my job
or not sure. And then here I've been on dates
here where I said I had a degree in environmental
science and someone said, yeah, sure you do, because they're

(30:40):
like really questioning my intelligence. Where here it's like, oh
I don't work in like a government space or like whatever,
then I must not be intelligent.

Speaker 3 (30:49):
And so it's just kind of like a cad.

Speaker 2 (30:51):
Yep, that's fair. The last one is you aren't interested
in commitment fobes.

Speaker 4 (30:56):
Yeah, I think that at this point. Well I know,
at this point in my life, I spell it out
what I'm looking for, and if you don't agree, then
just be up front and honest.

Speaker 2 (31:05):
I think that's fair. Yeah, they say we live in
a cultehre where hooking up takes precedents over serious relationships. Yeah, say,
it's hard to find commitment and to see of men
who aren't into it. Yeah, I think that's kind of fair.

Speaker 4 (31:15):
That's also why I just haven't beoun on dating apps anymore,
because I was thinking. I've realized that no matter what,
when you meet someone on dating app, they're still gonna
we still met on an app, so they're still gonna
think in the back of their mind maybe there's something
better out there. I don't mean like every single person will,
but that's just the vibe that seems like. I just
feel like I'm so replaceable on dating apps that it

(31:37):
just doesn't make me feel good about myself as a person.
So why would I want to keep doing that to myself?

Speaker 2 (31:42):
I get that. Yeah, that makes sense.

Speaker 4 (31:43):
So that's why I deleted everything and over the summer.

Speaker 2 (31:46):
I think that's fair. Yeah, if you want to add
your thoughts nine to nine, three three, eight to text,
it's Interurn Johnny Martin Shaw. Why did he lie about
going out this weekend? Is he hiding something? Is he cheating?
War of the Roads comes next on Intern John in
your morning show, Happy Monday. Appreciate you hanging out Intern

(32:25):

Speaker 3 (33:03):
Changes the world.

Speaker 5 (33:04):
Peers Rose with three things you need to know for Monday.

Speaker 2 (33:08):
Rose got rust.

Speaker 8 (33:09):
So yesterday President Biden pardoned his son Hunter Biden, a
hunter face sentencing this month.

Speaker 6 (33:15):
Excuse me for.

Speaker 8 (33:17):
General tax and gun convictions. I feel like I just
swallowed dust, Like my throat is super dry.

Speaker 3 (33:22):
Hold on, I'm gonna taste of water.

Speaker 2 (33:24):
I'll get there.

Speaker 3 (33:25):
It is so.

Speaker 8 (33:26):
In a statement, the President said this is a full
and unconditional pardon meeting. He cannot it cannot be rescinded
by President elect Donald Trump. Biden has repeatedly and publicly
said he would not pardon his son. However, in his pardoning.
He said, quote, no reasonable person who looks at the
facts of Hunter's case can reach any other conclusion than
Hunter was singled out only because.

Speaker 3 (33:46):
He is my son, and that is wrong. End of quote.

Speaker 8 (33:48):
So the pardon covers quote those offenses against the United
States which he has committed or may have committed, or
taken pardon during the period from January first, twenty fourteen,
through December one, twenty twenty four Real quick.

Speaker 2 (34:01):
Thing, Can they submit that the cocaine was his in
the White House at this point? I mean, say it.
We all know.

Speaker 3 (34:08):
We want to know where it came from. He do
want to know where.

Speaker 2 (34:14):
To say it?

Speaker 3 (34:17):
We knew, Yeah, just say it to say it.

Speaker 8 (34:19):
So Fairfax County runner has completed seven marathons on all
seven continents.

Speaker 3 (34:25):
In a week. So what in a week?

Speaker 8 (34:27):
In a week, I'm probably the greatest race in the
world or something like that.

Speaker 3 (34:32):
Frank Fumick, he is fifty six years old.

Speaker 8 (34:34):
He's been contemplating the so called seven seven seven run
for the past five years or so. The event began
in the Antarctica, which is epic, and the final two
marathons were in Colombia and Miami, Florida. Which seven marathons
in a week on its own is one marathon is impressive.
Seven in a week is insane. And then doing it

(34:56):
one on each continent. Yeah, rab a lot flying.

Speaker 3 (35:00):
Yeah, but like at the time and everything, Okay, anyway,
I'll it's a lot.

Speaker 8 (35:05):
So, according to reports, Black Friday, online chopping alone reached
a new height of ten point eight billion dollars. So
for perspective, seven years ago, online sales on Black Friday
were just over.

Speaker 3 (35:19):
Five billions, so like more than doubled. It's it wasn't
just Friday that saw massive sales.

Speaker 8 (35:24):
There's a record six point one billion dollars spent online.

Speaker 3 (35:27):
On Thanksgiving Day itself.

Speaker 8 (35:30):
I mean, there's so there's so many sales right now,
you can't not buy something. The major driver of sales
on Black Friday were toys that was up six hundred
and twenty two percent.

Speaker 3 (35:39):
Over an average day.

Speaker 8 (35:41):
Jewelry was up, appliances, apparel, electronics. Over half of the
online sales on Black Friday happened on a phone.

Speaker 3 (35:50):
That's fair. I was chopping on my phone.

Speaker 2 (35:53):
Yeah, of course that makes sense.

Speaker 3 (35:55):
I'm Rose. Those are the three things you each know
for the day. Thank you, Rose, You're welcome and.

Speaker 2 (35:59):
Let's get Andrea good morning, good morning. Hey, we have
everything here. We'll do this next. Okay, Okay, I wore
the roses an intern John in your morning show. So
wore the roses interns John in your morning show. You
think the person with this cheating, you think the stepping out.

(36:22):
We try and get right down to the middle and
see what's going on. Andrea, good morning, good morning. So
walk us through this. You and Jeff have kind of
complicated timeline. You guys first met on Tinder about six
months ago. Correct, yes, yes, but we didn't start dating
right away.

Speaker 13 (36:39):
What happened, we stated, but it was more casual. We
were kind of hooked up there here and there, and
we meant for drinks.

Speaker 14 (36:48):
A few times.

Speaker 13 (36:49):
I wasn't seeing anyone else at the time, but we
didn't really commit to it yet either. So it has
been serious about the last couple of months.

Speaker 2 (36:56):
Okay, But so for the first four months, it was
more of like a fling for lack of a better term.

Speaker 6 (37:03):
Yes, yeah, okay.

Speaker 2 (37:04):
Now you mentioned that you weren't seeing other people. Do
we know if Jeff was or I'm.

Speaker 13 (37:12):
Pretty sure that he wasn't, because we did text a
lot during the day and I usually knew where he
always know where he's at, or usually Burnhill last weekend,
I know where he's at.

Speaker 2 (37:21):
Okay, But then, did we ever have the conversation of like, hey,
are you seeing anybody else?

Speaker 15 (37:28):
Not?

Speaker 14 (37:29):
A couple of months ago, it just got more serious.

Speaker 2 (37:31):
It's like, right, yeah, I understand, Like two months ago
you said to him, hey, we need to you know,
ask their go off the pot, so to speak. And
that's when we became official.

Speaker 13 (37:41):
Right Well, it was the holidays are coming up, and
I asked him if he was going to come to
my families with me, and he said of course. And
the way he said it, you know, it just seems
like it's we're together.

Speaker 2 (37:53):
Okay, So we have. We haven't officially had the boyfriend
girlfriend talk though.

Speaker 6 (37:58):
No, but we have.

Speaker 14 (37:59):
We have shifted.

Speaker 13 (38:00):
It shifted from the first four months in DTR.

Speaker 3 (38:03):
But the vibe is different.

Speaker 14 (38:06):
Yes, yes, it's different.

Speaker 13 (38:08):
Where we're doing the holidays together, like it, it's totally.

Speaker 2 (38:11):
Different, okay, And I'm not judging. However, if he is
seeing somebody else, there's a huge out here because he
could always say you guys, never said your boyfriend and
girlfriend just sort of around the same page.

Speaker 13 (38:25):
He could, but I, like I said, we TechEd often,
so I usually know his schedule and I pretty much.

Speaker 14 (38:32):
Know where he's at. That's why last weekend was so strange.

Speaker 2 (38:35):
Okay, so let's get to this last weekend. You guys
went to a mutual friend's birthday party. We got a
little bit two turned. He took you home. In what happened?

Speaker 14 (38:44):
Okay, this is weird.

Speaker 13 (38:46):
It's like, I know, I was pretty messed up, but
I woke up in the middle of the night and
then he wasn't there, and I went back to bed,
and then when I woke up again, he was. He
was cooking. He was cooking breakfast. And then I was like,
did you leave in the middle of the night, And
then he said no, and then he it's just something

(39:07):
about it sing, And I said, are you sure you did?
Did you take the trash ab like I went through
a couple of things, and he's like no, and he said,
you were drunk.

Speaker 16 (39:15):
You know.

Speaker 14 (39:15):
He had to kind of like irritated a little bit too.
He said, no, you were drunk and uh.

Speaker 13 (39:19):
And so then we took the shower together and we
were in the shower, I noticed that he had marks
on his back and then and I.

Speaker 4 (39:27):
Was like, oh, good point here.

Speaker 13 (39:33):
I mean, I can't remember everything, but I do have
a rain camera on my door, and then I did.

Speaker 6 (39:40):
I was pretty messed up when I came in, and I.

Speaker 14 (39:42):
Mean I couldn't hardly walk, but I wasn't on his back.

Speaker 6 (39:45):
But he did go out. And see that's the thing.
So I only know he's lied. I don't really know
he's lying.

Speaker 2 (39:52):
So he brought you back, puts you to bed. Then
he went out for like three hours afterwards.

Speaker 13 (39:57):
And guess what, he won't even it was maybe a
little bit longer than that, but it's like he won't
even acknowledge that, Like he won't even to say you
took the trash out because I was even trying to think,
like gosh, shl see something's wrong with the app and
then maybe you like did pick the trash out and
at the time.

Speaker 2 (40:13):
Okay, well, let let's do this. We'll have SOS call
from the flower company offering flowers should go to you.
Obviously they go to somebody else. What it's some answers
for you, Okay, Okay, wore the roses an intern John
your morning show. It's wore the Roses intern John in
your morning show, Andrew, I'm going to recap this. It's
because it's a little bit hazy, but you and Jeff

(40:34):
first match on Tinder about six months ago. In your words,
you guys are very casual in the first four months,
would just kind of hang out every now and then
do some hookups whatever. About two months ago, because the
holidays were coming up, you were like, hey, we should
maybe get more serious. We could do my house for this,
your house for that, and he agreed. Although we have

(40:56):
not officially had the I'm not seeing anybody else, seeing
anybody else conversation, right, you're just kind of hoping that
the implication has been there that he's only seen you. Yes, yes, okay,
let me ask you this because again, like, the only
thing I worry about is he has a very big

(41:16):
loophole in that you didn't necessarily confront about is he
seeing anybody else? So if it comes to be that
he sends the flowers to somebody and then pulls the
well I didn't know we were dating card, is that
going to be enough for you to take him back?
Or is this like, what are we gonna do?

Speaker 13 (41:35):
I I would have a huge problem with it if
he did not send me the flowers. Because my parents
actually live.

Speaker 14 (41:41):
Out of town. This is a big deal for us
to go there next month.

Speaker 2 (41:44):
Okay, but I'm not judging him this more so, like
I worry about you. Why not ask him straight up?
Are you seeing somebody else? Are we together?

Speaker 1 (41:55):
You know?

Speaker 11 (41:55):
What I mean?

Speaker 13 (41:56):
Is the well in the beginning that was the magic
that kept us together. There is the fact that we
didn't put all the stipulations on everything. That's what that's
what made things work is because very lot of pressure.

Speaker 2 (42:09):
But also though it seems like that wasn't good enough though,
because we then two months ago tried to change course.
Though fair Yes, okay, I'm not I'm not trying to I.

Speaker 14 (42:20):
Know, I know you're right. I know you're right.

Speaker 6 (42:22):
It's like I just that's where I probably again.

Speaker 2 (42:26):
Like it could be that we are being a little
bit oversensitive. We as in us here on the show.
We have done this a couple of one hundred times
that I'm just worried that if it goes to the
wrong person, he can wiggle out of it.

Speaker 4 (42:39):
So he just changed so much like I would have
had five boyfriends this year if he is the case. Yeah,
because Okay.

Speaker 2 (42:48):
All right, so we'll call uh sauce at for the flowers.
If they go to you or put them on holes,
see what you want to do. If they go to
somebody else, we'll get some answers for you.

Speaker 14 (42:57):
Okay, okay, thank you?

Speaker 2 (43:00):
One second? Should I get this going?

Speaker 17 (43:16):
Hello?

Speaker 3 (43:17):
Hello, I'm calling for.

Speaker 14 (43:18):
Jeff uh this is him?

Speaker 17 (43:22):
What's going on?

Speaker 1 (43:23):
Hi?

Speaker 3 (43:23):
My name is Avery. I'm calling you from YMS Flowers.

Speaker 4 (43:27):
We're just a local flower shop and you actually won
our contest this week. So you get a dozen red
roses you can send to anyone you'd like.

Speaker 3 (43:35):
So I just need like a name, city, all that
good stuff.

Speaker 17 (43:40):
Okay, maybe I have the wrong number. I didn't enter
like a concert or anything.

Speaker 4 (43:45):
Do you think someone entered for you? We're just like
a new local flower shop. We're downtown.

Speaker 17 (43:53):
I don't really huge flats like that, to be honest,
I don't.

Speaker 4 (43:57):
Well, we have like our like QR codes like coffee
shops just all over.

Speaker 3 (44:02):
So maybe someone entered for you, do you think?

Speaker 17 (44:06):
I mean it's possible, but I can you just.

Speaker 14 (44:09):
Give them someone else?

Speaker 17 (44:09):
I don't really need.

Speaker 4 (44:11):
It's the holiday season. Do you think they wanted a life?
Would just want them. It's just to get the product
out there. I mean, I mean they're free, They're a
dozen red roses. They're gorgeous. Maybe there's someone special in
your life that entered your name, so you would send
them to them. Sure, okay, I need a name for

(44:36):
who you're sending them to.

Speaker 17 (44:38):
That's all you need is that. You don't need like
my you don't need anything. I could call it or nothing.

Speaker 3 (44:42):
No, No, they're free. It's a contest.

Speaker 17 (44:44):
You want, uh five time? Okay, so what what what.

Speaker 9 (44:49):
Do I do?

Speaker 4 (44:50):
So who do you want to send them to?

Speaker 17 (44:55):
Send them to Sam?

Speaker 3 (44:57):
Sam?

Speaker 14 (44:59):
Yeah?

Speaker 4 (45:00):
Okay, and then is Sam, what are they to you? Wife, girlfriend, boyfriend,
a special person? Special person? And what do you want
the card to say? It's just like your typical flower card.

Speaker 17 (45:17):
Yeah, I just say at least the last time was
like it was fun or something worth it or something
like that.

Speaker 4 (45:23):
Say, at least the last time was worth it. Yeah,
I was wondering that myself.

Speaker 2 (45:33):
Okay, hold on real quick, Jeff, Jeff, my name is
intern John. I got rose here as well. That is
you girlfriend Andrew. Guys, let you know that we are
recording this one of the roses on the show who
is Sam?

Speaker 17 (45:48):
What is this?

Speaker 11 (45:50):
So?

Speaker 14 (45:50):
Who is Sam? I answered the question? Who is Sam?
That's where you were last weekend? I know you laugh.
I know I'm not crazy.

Speaker 18 (45:59):
Okay, I'm tipping right now, Sam, I'm not.

Speaker 14 (46:03):
I have been all this all this time, all this time.
I have been Sam.

Speaker 11 (46:08):
Sam.

Speaker 18 (46:09):
Sam is a home like a homeboy, Like you're really like,
what are you even talking about?

Speaker 2 (46:14):
Sam's a dude? Yeah wow, okay, so and we don't judge,
but you're standing, dude? A dozen red roses?

Speaker 14 (46:24):
Are you there?

Speaker 19 (46:26):
Are you.

Speaker 2 (46:27):
Evolve with Sam?

Speaker 18 (46:30):
Oh my god, it's a funny little joke thing like
there were three flowers.

Speaker 17 (46:36):
So I sent it as a joke to my buddy Sam.

Speaker 9 (46:40):
That worked it, you.

Speaker 14 (46:41):
Said, You said something like kind of critic.

Speaker 18 (46:45):
Yeah, I should forget it was a break because he
doesn't What.

Speaker 13 (46:49):
Would you set another man flowers and it's the holidays?

Speaker 9 (46:53):
Why would you because.

Speaker 18 (46:53):
Another because he has a girlfriend and it would be
funny to get him in trouble, Like I think.

Speaker 2 (47:01):
Wait, Sam said, or sorry, So, Jeff, if this is
a prank on Sam, you're pretty quick to pull the trigger.
What pranks has he pulled on you? Recently?

Speaker 16 (47:09):
We've prayed each other all the time, like what like
this random like random stuff for their people's email, giving
people people going to attracted to your phone number, like
all type of weird stuff all the time.

Speaker 14 (47:24):
I don't know.

Speaker 13 (47:26):
I've never been You've never met Sam to me. You've
never mentioned your friend Sam to me. This is I
don't believe you. It's twice the mansa.

Speaker 14 (47:35):
He's a work friend. Like, what are you're talking about?

Speaker 1 (47:37):
I don't talk to you about all my works.

Speaker 3 (47:39):
He's a work okaybody you.

Speaker 14 (47:41):
Mention everybody to me?

Speaker 2 (47:43):
This is something I don't know, So, Jeff, I guess
the real question is so last weekend you trap off
Andrew at her place? Where did you go for like
four hours?

Speaker 14 (47:50):
Yeah?

Speaker 17 (47:52):
Yeah, I don't know what you're talking about.

Speaker 14 (47:54):
How long have you been lying?

Speaker 6 (47:55):
How long?

Speaker 9 (47:56):
How long have you taken?

Speaker 14 (47:57):
Like think I feel like right now, I'm not about
to be in this little.

Speaker 6 (48:05):
You don't know.

Speaker 14 (48:06):
I don't know what you're doing.

Speaker 6 (48:08):
You're the one who put yourself in the situation.

Speaker 2 (48:10):
Let me ask you this, Jeff, And let's get Jeff.
How many people are you currently talking giromantically?

Speaker 11 (48:17):
One?

Speaker 2 (48:18):
It doesn't that's a long delay.

Speaker 14 (48:20):
You should have sent the flowers to me.

Speaker 13 (48:22):
Guess what, any any any normal person, if they're dating
one person, they would have sent the roses to me.

Speaker 16 (48:31):
Three I don't even know, Like they might not even
be real roses.

Speaker 18 (48:35):
They might be ugly, they might be.

Speaker 14 (48:37):
Trash, and so I sent them on their first instinct.

Speaker 13 (48:40):
Your first instinct should have been to send them to me.

Speaker 14 (48:43):
I need to know and right now my parents.

Speaker 2 (48:50):
Well, Jeff, I guess you could just send the actual
roses today. Then Yeah.

Speaker 20 (48:58):

Sean Diddycombs has been denied bail once again. He will
remain at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn as he
awaits trial, which is going to be happening in May.
As of now, so, a federal judge agreed with prosecutors
that Diddy could not be trusted to follow the rules
if he was freed on veil. He's proven to violate

(50:22):
the rules while being inside of the Metropolitan Detention Center.
So the judge that on Wednesday, quote the court finds
that the government has shown by clear and convincing evidence
that no condition or combination of conditions will reasonably assure
the safety of the community. And basically just saying that
he has a history of violence. So we're not gonna

Jersey concert. Also, I mean he's he's getting older. I
think we gotta remember that. And Brett Goldstein, he is
one of the actors for Ted Lasso. He plays Roy Kent.
He's also one of the writers of the show. So
he did confirm a long standing fan theory recently. He said, quote, Yeah,

(51:31):
there's loads and loads of the Wizard of Oz and
Ted Lasso. The pinball machine is the one that always,
that's always Ted has to go home. There's no place
like home. Then there's the no place like Richmond Epsy. Yes,
that's all the Wizard of Oz. And then he even
went on to explaine a little bit further, saying that
his character Roy Kent was the Ted man. Jason Sedakis's
Ted was Dorothy Hannah Wattingham's Rebecca was a lion, and

(51:54):
then Phil Phil Dunster's Jamie was a scarecrow. And then
he even ended the interview saying, I'm or is this
gonna cause me a lot of trouble?

Speaker 11 (52:01):
Yeah?

Speaker 3 (52:02):
Which probably if.

Good morning?

Speaker 2 (55:36):
All right? Was it a sign? What happened? Fake name Lucy?

Speaker 9 (55:41):
So I was meeting my future in maws for the
first time. We traveled to France so that I could
meet them, and I got up early one morning to have,
you know, the chat with the dad about could I
have his daughter's hand in marriage? And he booked me
that in my eyes and said it didn't work for me.
What makes you think it's gonna work for you?

Speaker 2 (56:03):
WHOA?

Speaker 9 (56:04):
Okay, it was not a great start. And then he
went to my future sister in law's house, where he
proceeded to tell them all in French that I had
already asked for her hand in marriage, but only her
hand and nothing else. And I was very confused while
they were speaking in French. So I crawled into the
other room and found the ring in my suitcase and

(56:27):
I had to come back and propose in front of everybody.

Speaker 2 (56:30):
Okay, oh, I say, that was not a sign, and
we're still together. A sauce your vote. I hope that
wasn't a sign. I hope you're still together.

Speaker 8 (56:39):
Okay, And was your vote, I'm gonna say not a sign, Bake,
Dame Lucy.

Speaker 2 (56:44):
It was not, I mean ten years, but this was
okayke name Lucy. One second, you're the running the audacity.
But he believed she asked for her hand in marriage.
Else well, the whole body ideally.

Speaker 4 (56:55):
But like if we hadn't asked, it would have made
a big deal about that. It sounds like that, I'll.

Speaker 2 (56:59):
Take both hands, both legs.

Speaker 3 (57:01):
All right, people are solos.

Speaker 2 (57:03):
Yeah, leave it to the French. What fake name or baka?
Good morning?

Speaker 14 (57:08):
Good morning?

Speaker 2 (57:09):
All right? Girl? Late onmy was it a sign? What happened?

Speaker 6 (57:13):
Okay?

Speaker 9 (57:13):
So I was going the way to MGM for midday casino.

Speaker 1 (57:17):
Black jack run, and as I'm on the way there,
I noticed I'm going in the wrong direction. Yeah, so
I immediately stopped and I head towards the casino.

Speaker 11 (57:29):
A couple of points, I stop the.

Speaker 3 (57:31):
Store here there before.

Speaker 2 (57:32):
Okay, so you you're going to the casino. But then
like it's almost like fate said, nah, you shouldn't go
to the casino.

Speaker 1 (57:39):
So I'm heading towards my kids school.

Speaker 2 (57:41):
Yeah, I'm.

Speaker 9 (57:45):
I'm like, oh gosh, I need to be going here
the way there, I got you.

Speaker 2 (57:49):
I'm going to say that was a sign and we
lost a lot of money. I saw us your thoughts.

Speaker 4 (57:55):
It wasn't a sign, Okay, Rose, I'm gonna say it
was a sign, fake Dan Rebecca.

Speaker 1 (58:03):
It was just I won one hundred and twelve thousand.

Speaker 14 (58:06):
And a five dollars.

Speaker 2 (58:08):
Oh my god on a five dollars?

Speaker 14 (58:10):
What side that on?

Speaker 11 (58:12):
Black jack?

Speaker 1 (58:13):
Really had the eighth ni King of Clubs and I
had the Queen and the jack and that was actually
my second time winning that bat. I won fifty K
another time on that thing.

Speaker 2 (58:21):
Okay, you've won one hundred and sixty thousand dollars in
black jack?

Speaker 9 (58:26):
MGM.

Speaker 2 (58:27):
So so after you went one hundred k, fake Nan Rebecca,
do they take you downstairs?

Speaker 11 (58:32):
Like?

Speaker 2 (58:32):
What happens next?

Speaker 1 (58:33):
Okay? So what happened is they had the seven foot
security guard and scored me.

Speaker 9 (58:37):
To my car because the first time I won, I.

Speaker 1 (58:39):
Took all the cash with me, but they take out
about forty percent tax. Yeah, so I didn't walk out
with I walked out about thirty K. The first time
The second time, I walked it out with a check
and a security guard because there was way too much money.
But then I came back and cash half of the
check and they allow you to like cash half and
you can get another check. So like if I wanted
to cash thirty five thousand, nine year thirty five cash

(59:00):
and they'll give me another check for thirty or you
could just cash the entire thing. I just had to
get out of there because I was afraid winning so
much money, so I.

Speaker 3 (59:08):
Was, yeah, okay, my god, second running.

Speaker 2 (59:12):
That's sick though.

Speaker 3 (59:13):
That was her.

Speaker 2 (59:14):
Absolutely, I almost be afraid to win. But there I
think I cheated.

Speaker 3 (59:18):
That's what I'm saying. I like, Dad, do something wrong
by having these cards that you handed to me.

Speaker 2 (59:21):
Yeah. They come like, hey, I didn't shoot, and they'd
be like, why would you say that.

Speaker 3 (59:24):
I don't know.

Speaker 4 (59:24):
I just get nervous, rewatch shape. I just sat here.
I picked them up and I looked.

Speaker 2 (59:28):
At them, dude. The first time I played Like Cards,
I was in a blackjack tournament at MGM for charity,
and I had a photo of what the hands were.
At one point, I was up like one hundred thousand
dollars in charity money, and the other idiots at the
table accused me of lying about not playing blackjack so
that I can get the advantage, and I was.

Speaker 3 (59:46):
Like, fellas, none of us are taking this home.

Speaker 2 (59:48):
It all goes to charity. Yeah, Like the last thing
I want to do is be at a table for
four hours playing blackjack when they have a cigar roller outside. Yeah,
and I try to lose out is.

Speaker 3 (59:56):
The advantage that you get the picture of the hands?

Speaker 2 (59:59):
Yeah, I were Honestly, I did well because I wasn't
overthinking it.

Speaker 3 (01:00:03):
Yeah, Jim, you know you're doing.

Speaker 2 (01:00:04):
I had no idea. I was like, this looks good.
There it is, this is fine. I haven't played since then.

Speaker 9 (01:00:08):
We go.

Speaker 2 (01:00:08):
Let me get in Pikesville, Michelle, good morning. Okay, and
this is the day of the wedding. What went wrong?

Speaker 6 (01:00:19):
It was in the summer.

Speaker 3 (01:00:20):
It was in July, and it was raining.

Speaker 2 (01:00:22):
That day, damn okay.

Speaker 3 (01:00:28):
Yeah, the ceremony was supposed to be outside, damn okay. Okay, And.

Speaker 6 (01:00:34):
Basically it stopped raining for that like one hour.

Speaker 2 (01:00:37):
Okay. Oh cool, Okay, I'm gonna say that wasn't a sign.
And we worked out together because that's kind of Hoodie's wedding,
but they're still happily married. A sauce to you.

Speaker 4 (01:00:46):
Every wedding I've been to, that's rain. They're still married.
So I'm going to go, if it wasn't a sign.

Speaker 2 (01:00:49):
Okay, rose to you.

Speaker 8 (01:00:51):
Well, I feel like if it stopped for that one
hour for you to have your wedding outside, that was
a good sign.

Speaker 3 (01:00:55):
So I'm going to say, you're still together.

Speaker 6 (01:00:58):
Michelle, Yeah, we're still together.

Speaker 2 (01:01:01):
Look at that? How long?

Speaker 3 (01:01:05):
Seven years?

Speaker 2 (01:01:07):
One second? Girl, you're in the running. Let me go
on Nikki Morning. So this was also your wedding day.

Speaker 13 (01:01:14):
What happened, Well, they called me and told me they
double booked the venue.

Speaker 2 (01:01:21):
Oh my god, for the ceremony or the reception for
the ceremony. So the day of your wedding, the.

Speaker 3 (01:01:28):
Invitations, No, it wasn't the day of my wedding.

Speaker 8 (01:01:31):
It was like a month before my wedding, but the
invitations had already went out.

Speaker 3 (01:01:36):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (01:01:40):
And so did they offer you anything as like a
sorry instead of being like, hey are bad?

Speaker 4 (01:01:46):
Yeah?

Speaker 3 (01:01:46):
No, they gave us a thousand box towards the price. Dude,
that's that's not stress.

Speaker 2 (01:01:53):
Yeah, and then like enough booking a last minute venue
I'm sure that's cheap. Yeah, that's okay. I'm gonna say
that was a sign and it did not work out. Sauce.

Speaker 4 (01:02:03):
I think it was not a sign. Okay, Rose, I
don't think it was a sign.

Speaker 6 (01:02:07):
NICKI a fifteen years then over here.

Speaker 3 (01:02:12):
Okay, the stress brought you closer together.

Speaker 2 (01:02:14):
Absolutely, It's so Nikki with the having a book the
new venue, were they understanding or they bend you guys
over and take you for where everything have?

Speaker 12 (01:02:23):
God?

Speaker 3 (01:02:24):
No, no, no, we stayed with the same venue and
that was a nice place.

Speaker 6 (01:02:31):
Yeah, so it was okay.

Speaker 2 (01:02:33):
Okay, made you went second, you're in the running. Voe
fear failed over text nine ninety three three eight. I
would just hate to be that person who has to
make that call. Yeah, because it was probably not their fault.

Speaker 4 (01:02:44):
No, it probably wasn't. And they were like, hey, so Tina,
who doesn't even work here anymore?

Speaker 2 (01:02:48):
Yeah, every company has an Eric. Yeah, that'd be the
Eric move that I have to call. It goes, what
did we gave a thousand dollars?

Speaker 3 (01:02:55):
That does?

Speaker 2 (01:02:56):
All right, that's that's that's not the same stress. Uh huh,
I mean actually, good morning, good morning. Wait, you were
late to your own wedding.

Speaker 19 (01:03:06):
Yes, So we got to the church, me and the
girls from the wedding party. We got there about an
hour and twenty minutes after the ceremony was supposed to start.

Speaker 2 (01:03:20):
Oh wow, that's okay, that is were you pretty had.

Speaker 19 (01:03:24):
Asked my fiance at the time if he wanted to
just cancel the wedding if I was going to show.

Speaker 4 (01:03:30):
Up or not, well just because of just like makeup
and stuff, or was it like an.

Speaker 19 (01:03:35):
Hour will be I'm late to everything, all of my
star And that's exactly what he told the priest, she'll
be late funeral.

Speaker 4 (01:03:44):
I have been to, I went, I was in the
wedding once where we were over. I think we're like
an hour of five minutes late to her walking in
the aisle. So I'm going to say it's it's worked out.

Speaker 2 (01:03:54):
I mean, but actually the whole time, the release texting.

Speaker 6 (01:03:57):
Updates, no, no, were.

Speaker 2 (01:04:03):
Were you up to like on the way there though?

Speaker 4 (01:04:06):
Did you know you just get your one to someone
else on the wind day and you don't deal with
the responsibility that you put.

Speaker 6 (01:04:12):
A picture or my snack chat.

Speaker 2 (01:04:14):
Yeah, that's.

Speaker 3 (01:04:18):
Okay, Maybe I changed my answer. It did not work out.

Speaker 2 (01:04:21):
I'm going to say it they're still together. If this
is what she's known for, I'm going to say, yes,
sauce to you.

Speaker 3 (01:04:27):
How it would have made me really upset?

Speaker 4 (01:04:28):
Yeah, Rose, I'm going to say, still together, Ashley.

Speaker 19 (01:04:34):
Yes, we just celebrated twelve year wedding anniversary.

Speaker 2 (01:04:39):
Let me ask you on the flip side. Let's your
husband's name? Is what Ashley?

Speaker 6 (01:04:43):
Anthony?

Speaker 2 (01:04:44):
Let's just say to Anthony, who's the saying from a man?
Did he happened to be a hour and a half
late to your wedding? How would that have gone for him? Yeah?

Speaker 3 (01:04:57):
For sure?

Speaker 2 (01:04:58):
Okay, Actually, one second, you're in the running. I mean,
at least he knew.

Speaker 8 (01:05:04):
What he was getting in too, and he continues to
know what he's getting into.

Speaker 2 (01:05:08):
A patient man, it's a patient man. A fake name
or back a good morning?

Speaker 15 (01:05:13):
Good morning?

Speaker 2 (01:05:14):
Also on your wedding day, what was the sign? What happened?

Speaker 15 (01:05:18):
So basically, me and my girls were drinking like as
one would nice and my native honor and my best friend.
She actually had a little bit too much to drink
and we were at least fifteen minutes away from the ceremony,

(01:05:38):
and she vomited all over my dress. I was fully
ready and yeah, so luckily I was originally supposed to
wear my mom's dress back.

Speaker 2 (01:05:56):
Oh wow, I'm going to say that was not a
sign and we're still together A sauce to you.

Speaker 3 (01:06:03):
I think that was not a sign.

Speaker 4 (01:06:05):
But I probably like would distance myself from the girl
that threw up on.

Speaker 3 (01:06:09):
The dress if you can't physically.

Speaker 4 (01:06:11):
Yeah, I like to have fun on at all times,
but I'm not going to get too drunk before wedding.

Speaker 8 (01:06:17):
Sure, Rose, I think because you had a backup, it
was more of a sign that you were supposed to
wear your mom's dress and not that the marriage was
going to.

Speaker 2 (01:06:26):
Be Yeah bad, I agree, name Rebecca was a sign.

Speaker 15 (01:06:32):
Yes, it was a sign we're still together?

Speaker 2 (01:06:35):
Are you and the friends still close? Or is that
kind of like a hard to get over that bridge?

Speaker 12 (01:06:42):
You know?

Speaker 15 (01:06:42):
That was time a hard deal over the bridge. It
was a really expensive dress and she said she would
some of that and she never did, and she never apologized.

Speaker 3 (01:06:52):
How do you not apologize for that? Like you're the
one that drank too much and then threw up on
the dress.

Speaker 2 (01:06:57):
Yeah, that's exactly okay, fak BECKA one second, you were
in the running vote for your favorite over text nine

(01:07:19):
So I did the walk last year with their friend
Justin Sas actually ran it. I'm gonna walk it again.

Speaker 4 (01:07:24):
I try to run it this year. I just haven't
been running and it's gonna be so cold. But also
I'm sorry. They were supposed to email this to me,
but it was the holiday weekend, so they but we
I talked to one of the people that are running
the event and they are going to be offering a
shuttle from the metros.

Speaker 2 (01:07:40):
Oh very nice.

Speaker 3 (01:07:41):
So it's the closest metro stop.

Speaker 4 (01:07:43):
I can't remember exactly which one because we were discussing
it and I was like writing down notes and I
checked my phone, but I know that it's like the
one that's closest to the skating rink. So I will
confirm that today so I can tell you tomorrow because

Thanks for hanging on this Monday in turns you down
in your morning show. Shelby Sauce. Hello, nine eight to
text was open at YMS Radio. I was I was

(01:09:02):
hurt yesterday. It was a big, big day in my household.

Speaker 3 (01:09:07):
Why were you hurt?

Speaker 2 (01:09:08):
Well? Because I was feeling festive and I sided to
hurt yourself emotionally, okay, by trusting the friend to support
me and then not getting the support that I.

Speaker 3 (01:09:18):
Deserved about me.

Speaker 2 (01:09:20):
No, about me, I put up my I've been bullying
about my tree for I don't know months, basically, yes,
And so yesterday I was like, you want to know what,
let's do it, boys, let's me talking to the dogs.

Speaker 3 (01:09:33):
Is that you were in a weird mood.

Speaker 2 (01:09:34):
I called you no, Okay, that was just because of
your general attitude to see how he was doing. Okay,
but put a pin there, because that's not you'll call no.
That's another issue entirely.

Speaker 3 (01:09:49):
Do you want to get into that?

Speaker 2 (01:09:51):
So I set the tree, put some put some lights
on its rose, and uh.

Speaker 8 (01:09:56):
The second because I've been the one that's really been like,
you need to be an adult and put this Christmas
tree up.

Speaker 2 (01:10:04):
And to what she said, did you put up the
tree because we guilty to you?

Speaker 3 (01:10:07):
Wait wait wait wait wait, you are skipping a whole lot.

Speaker 2 (01:10:11):
Well, but because it's not it's not fluffed, I guess
to well.

Speaker 8 (01:10:16):
I mean you sent it to me, and I was like,
does the bottom half of the tree have lights?

Speaker 3 (01:10:19):
But I didn't mention.

Speaker 2 (01:10:20):
That I was, like, it does it does have light?

Speaker 3 (01:10:23):
Yeah, I haven't seen the picture. Yeah, there's it.

Speaker 8 (01:10:27):
There's a hole in the left side of the tree,
like in the middle. So you you sent it to
me and said nailed it, which means I feel like
when you say nailed it, it means hey.

Speaker 3 (01:10:37):
It's up, and that's all I'm going to do. Hey,
I did it.

Speaker 8 (01:10:40):
So I said yes, like I celebrated you. And then
I said, but please fluff the tree. Yeah, at least
the front hat. You don't have to do the whole.

Speaker 2 (01:10:51):
She's perfect the way she is, which to which rose say, though,
did you put the tree up because we guilty to you?
Are you trying to impress somebody?

Speaker 4 (01:10:59):
I was, Those are good questions, though, because and it
will tell us if you're seeing someone or if you
just but also if we can guilt you into putting
that tree up.

Speaker 3 (01:11:08):
I think that's the first time we've ever done that, because.

Speaker 4 (01:11:12):
I've put your tree up for a few years.

Speaker 11 (01:11:15):
Yeah.

Speaker 8 (01:11:15):
Wow, I made a pretty coel I asked, because we
have been Just last week we were saying you need
to put this tree up, and you're like, no, it's fine, No, I.

Speaker 3 (01:11:25):
Don't need to No, No, I sound.

Speaker 8 (01:11:27):
Like, and then all of a sudden you have a
change of heart and you put your Christmas tree up,
and I'm like, who's going to be at that Christmas party?

Speaker 2 (01:11:37):
Who are you going to be? The parents?

Speaker 4 (01:11:38):
Did you sense that I was decorating? And you're like,
I want to be Shelby?

Speaker 2 (01:11:45):
Now, I not not that.

Speaker 4 (01:11:47):
Also, you know that if I had decorated for you,
I would have probably put a hole in your wall,
like I almost did the last time. I'm just saying
if it had, yes you did, Yes you did? Why
because I I barely do it.

Speaker 3 (01:12:01):
Myself this year?

Speaker 2 (01:12:02):
Okay, I don't have.

Speaker 3 (01:12:03):
Too many trees myself.

Speaker 2 (01:12:05):
That's that's a you problem. Well it's up and my
parents come next week. So if my mom wants to
make it look prettier, your mom.

Speaker 3 (01:12:11):
Is definitely gonna fly literally off it. You'll probably get
some like what do they call it? Ornament?

Speaker 4 (01:12:17):
I call powers can get you some flowers for your front.

Speaker 2 (01:12:22):
Now, circling back to the phone call, you call me sometimes,
Shelby Sauce, and it's just like I assume if somebody
calls it's really important. So Shelby once called me drunk
to ask me if I really love Skittles, my dog,
my ball. It was a serious question.

Speaker 4 (01:12:38):
I was like, of course, I said, but do you
love him like you're his father? Or do you love
him like he's just in your life?

Speaker 2 (01:12:44):
You do you love the same way as you love Chewy?
I'm like yeah, I was crying.

Speaker 3 (01:12:51):
So hard.

Speaker 2 (01:12:52):
Yeah, and I was like, yes.

Speaker 4 (01:12:53):
I love it, Yes, I just need to know how
you felt.

Speaker 3 (01:12:57):
He's the best I know.

Speaker 4 (01:12:59):
This was when I first back here and I was
a little too drunk, and I was like, you know
what I need to know.

Speaker 3 (01:13:04):
It's a good question, It's what the people want to know. John.

Speaker 2 (01:13:09):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (01:13:09):
But I had just moved back here, so I hadn't
really seen him that much, and I was like staying,
they're drunk in my apartment, Like, but does he love
him like he's his dad? Does he feel like does Skills?
Does Skills know he's adopted? I don't feel like the adopted.

Speaker 8 (01:13:26):
Definitely, like like a like a yeah.

Speaker 3 (01:13:31):
I'm sure people have wondered that, and I needed to know.

Speaker 2 (01:13:34):
I wonder what if Skittles feels like he's part of
the family.

Speaker 4 (01:13:36):
Yeah, Does Skills feel like he's just like the annoying
like add on or does he feel like he's your son.

Speaker 2 (01:13:41):
No, Skittles has main character energy.

Speaker 3 (01:13:43):
Well, yeah, I know that.

Speaker 2 (01:13:45):
He's blissfully unaware of his size and his energy level, just.

Speaker 4 (01:13:47):
Because when he first took him in, I had moved
to Georgia or he was there, so like whatever I'd
seen when I came back, Like, Skeats and I have
always been homies.

Speaker 3 (01:13:55):
I just didn't know if.

Speaker 2 (01:13:57):
He felt Yeah I did. That didn't go to war
for me and vice versa. Yeah, yeah, heats part of
the squad. Are him and Chewy as close? Well, it's
a different story entirely. Chew love me just should we
just kind of chew. We will walk into Skittles and
it's the funniest thing in the world of skills. Is like,
I have no idea if that was intentional or not.

Speaker 3 (01:14:16):
Are you hurting me now?

Speaker 2 (01:14:18):
It's just kind of like the way it goes. But
long story short, my trees up and I love my dogs.
So that's uh No, somebody was wondering, Uh.

Speaker 3 (01:14:28):
I just called to see how you're doing. I don't
think that's weird. I was gonna say, wait, circle back,
she called because.

Speaker 4 (01:14:33):
I just called him to see how he was doing.
I was mental health checking you okay.

Speaker 2 (01:14:38):
It was the oddest three minute phone call in my
entire life.

Speaker 3 (01:14:41):
Really, I was like, okay, I guess I should go down.

Speaker 2 (01:14:43):
I assume as you're like there was an ass coming.

Speaker 3 (01:14:47):
I know, and you guys be like so. I was like,
so you're good, You're like yo.

Speaker 2 (01:14:51):
So I was like, you called me, dude.

Speaker 4 (01:14:53):
And I said, I know, I just want to see
how you're doing. You're like okay, and I was like,
that's it.

Speaker 3 (01:14:57):
Not every phone call needs to be transactional, like.

Speaker 2 (01:15:00):
You know, dudes don't call each other like that.

Speaker 4 (01:15:02):
So, I mean, I was sitting around, I was like,
I wonder how John's doing right now, and if he's
ready to go back to work tomorrow, and how his
weekend was.

Speaker 3 (01:15:08):
That's like literally what I was doing. Nice, I'll see
how you were, you know, Thanksgiving.

Speaker 4 (01:15:13):
So me, it just didn't seem as like caring if
I just text you, So I decided to call and see.

Speaker 3 (01:15:18):
You'll never forget how awkward that three minutes was.

Speaker 2 (01:15:20):
But it's like you called though, and had nothing to say.
It's like a very odd He's like, yeah, you called me, dude.

Speaker 3 (01:15:25):
I have a question.

Speaker 8 (01:15:26):
Would this before or after the Beauty and.

Speaker 3 (01:15:30):
The Beast thing I sent to you guys. I think
it was before okay, yeah, I remember. I don't know either.
Maybe it was after. Wait, it was a while after that.
I was like, you good, bro, you need a hug.

Speaker 2 (01:15:41):
Yeah, so you call me at three twenty three and
so there's a group text with the show. But if
you were in Beauty of the Beast, like, what object
would you be?

Speaker 3 (01:15:47):
Yes?

Speaker 2 (01:15:47):
And uh uh, rose should be a while open.

Speaker 3 (01:15:50):
I did. I did call about an hour later.

Speaker 2 (01:15:52):
Okay, I said I would choose a door knob just
so I could be held again, just for a moment.

Speaker 3 (01:15:57):
Yeah, that's cool.

Speaker 2 (01:16:02):
So anyway, you okay, John, I'm good. Trees are up.

Speaker 3 (01:16:05):
Don't you why I called you?

Speaker 13 (01:16:06):
Though?

Speaker 3 (01:16:07):
Not to the docs. I know you're just being yourself.
I just called because I had care.

Speaker 2 (01:16:10):
Thanks man, let us really sweet. I appreciate that. Yeah,
next time a text would suffice.

Speaker 3 (01:16:15):
No, it's not the same. No, not the same sense.

Speaker 2 (01:16:18):
To fact, if I was fine before the phone call,
I certainly wasn't. After worries. I was like, I don't know,
should I be worried about something or what's going on?

Speaker 11 (01:16:27):
There?

Speaker 12 (01:16:27):
We go?

Speaker 2 (01:16:28):

This month for federal tax and gun the convictions. In
a statement, the President said this is a full and
unconditional pardon, meaning it cannot be rescinded by President elect
Donald Trump. So Biden has repeatedly and publicly said he
would not pardon his son. However, in his pardoning he said, quote,
no reasonable person who looks at the facts of Hunter's
case can reach in any other conclusion than Hunter was

(01:17:03):
singled out only because.

Speaker 3 (01:17:04):
He is my son, and that is wrong. End quote.

Speaker 8 (01:17:07):

Speaker 8 (01:33:55):
A Fairbacks County runner has completed seven marathons on all
seven continents.

Speaker 2 (01:33:59):
Then what your tree says about you.

Speaker 14 (01:34:01):
First, from the city.

Speaker 3 (01:34:03):
That changes the world, Peers Rose with three things you
need to.

Speaker 2 (01:34:08):
Know for you Monday Rose.

Speaker 8 (01:34:10):
Yesterday, President Biden pardoned his son Hunter Biden. Hunter face
sentencing this month for federal tax and gun convictions. And
the same that the President said, this is a full
and unconditional pardon, meaning that it cannot be rescinded by
President Alec Donald Trump. So Biden has repeatedly and publicly
said that he would not pardon his son. However, in
his pardoning he said, quote no reasonable person who looks

(01:34:31):
at the facts of Hunter's case can reach any other
conclusion than Hunter was singled out only because he is
my son, and that is wrong.

Speaker 9 (01:34:38):
End quote.

Speaker 8 (01:34:38):
Now, the pardon covers those offenses against the United States
which he has committed or may have committed, or taken
part in during the period from January first, twenty fourteen.

Speaker 3 (01:34:47):
Through December one, twenty twenty fourth.

Speaker 8 (01:34:49):
Sony Fairbacks County Runner has completed seven marathons on all
seven continents in a week.

Speaker 3 (01:34:56):
Yes, why seven days, which is to me, one marathon
is impressed enough, but like doing seven in in one
week is wild. His name is Frank Fumick. He is
fifty six years old.

Speaker 8 (01:35:07):
He's been contemplating so called seven seven seven run for
the past five years or so.

Speaker 3 (01:35:11):
So the event began in Antarctica.

Speaker 8 (01:35:14):
Wild that's where that's where he kicked this whole thing off,
which is wild. And then the final two marathons were
in Columbia and Miami. And according to reports, Black Fridays
online shopping alone reached a new high of ten point
eight billion dollars. And I was just online, not even
like people going out and actively shopping. So for perspectives,

(01:35:35):
seven years ago, online sales for Black Friday were just
over five billion dollars, so more than double that. If
you're wondering what was the biggest thing, The biggest driver
for sales on Black Friday, toys, that's a lot of people.
It was up over six hundred and twenty two percent
on an average day. And then there was jewelry, appliance

(01:35:56):
as apparel, electronics were up by three hundred and thirty
four percent, and most people shopped on their phone.

Speaker 3 (01:36:02):
That's the information which makes sense because that's what I did.
I'm Rose. Those are the three things you know.

Speaker 7 (01:36:06):
For the day.

Speaker 2 (01:36:07):
Thank you, Rose, You're welcome. Also got to thank Tequila
and Taco coming in today. They're in Alexandria and they
are fantastic. I have the breakfast Socco yeah, and Banada
also fantastic. The Carneia Sata taco. What'd you have a sauce?

Speaker 3 (01:36:19):
I had the Maria Taco and they brought me in
a bunch of gluten free stuff. I made my thoughts.
Some nachos.

Speaker 2 (01:36:25):
Yeah, deconstructed the nachos just so you can make nacho
so you isn't Shelby sauce really nice?

Speaker 3 (01:36:31):
Very and I did. It's really good stuf and the
hot sauce ron I was so good. I don't know
what it is.

Speaker 2 (01:36:36):
But also today is Margarita Monday.

Speaker 3 (01:36:39):
They give they have Mark Margara flights.

Speaker 2 (01:36:42):

Taco dot com, Tequila and Taco or get them on
Instagram at Tequila and Taco Alexandria. Very good stuff. Appreciate
you guys coming in. I gotta get to this next.
What your Christmas tree says about your personality? First, Lamy

(01:37:03):
Marny shows. I wanted to get into this. It's Internshohn
in your Morning Show. Sauce sent me this last night.
Quick check around the room, Shelby Sauce, is your tree up?
And if so, how many trees.

Speaker 17 (01:37:13):
Do you have?

Speaker 4 (01:37:15):
Like a normal size tree? I just have one, But
I have like these many trees there. I just I
actually realize I have too many. I think I complained
about this last I didn't complain. I was like, Oh,
what am I gonna do with all these?

Speaker 2 (01:37:25):
How many do you have?

Speaker 4 (01:37:26):
Remember that I don't know, like forty how tall the
shortest one, the shortest one, like few inches?

Speaker 3 (01:37:34):
Like they're just like little decorative trees. I shouldn't count those.

Speaker 2 (01:37:37):
Yeah, get anything over a foot?

Speaker 4 (01:37:39):
Yeah, I have like this pink one in my guest room,
So you've probably like three feet.

Speaker 2 (01:37:43):
So two trees, I guess. So rose are they up?
And how many?

Speaker 8 (01:37:48):
I have two trees up, the big one that has
all the ornaments, and then there's a smaller pink one
that's Charlie's in her playroom.

Speaker 2 (01:37:58):
Okay, I got mine up this past week end and
it's decorated professionally, looks real good. So apparently how you
decorate your tree reveals a lot about who you are
as a person. I want to go through these and
see which one we think we are. Starting with the
outgoing socializer. So they say, I think colors, think pop culture,

(01:38:18):
think loud, proud and fun. If you like to get
people talking and comment you on things, this tree is
for you, they say, throwing pop college references and ornaments
that make reference to your favorite happenings of the year. Yeah.
I think, like a couple of years ago, like the
pickle from Rick and Morty was a pretty big like trend.

Speaker 3 (01:38:36):
That's also a tradition. Yeah, that's a tradition.

Speaker 2 (01:38:38):
The minimalist Okay, those simple Scannavian trees with a bunch
of white candles, nothing else. They say, minimalists can think
of Christmas trees as an unnecessary usage of ornament. So
you can for barely a their tree that captures the
simplicity of the season without overwhelming the space.

Speaker 3 (01:38:57):
That's cute.

Speaker 2 (01:38:57):
I think that's my tree is as right now, get die,
it's just lights. It's well there you go, Minnesota. To me, absolutely,
the flip side is the maximalist. Hi, Okay, so you're
gonna go over the top to bring your energy to
your tree. The maximus not hold back from going over
the top. Throwing ribbons, lights and rich color scheme. Okay,

(01:39:18):
is that for anybody? Uh No, okay, the nature enthusiast,
For those who can't decide wish tree to bring home
because they're equally beautiful, A rustic forest, spiray tree might
be best if you're a lover of nature. A tree
that exhibits pine cones, dried fruit, wood, and greenery is
the dream.

Speaker 8 (01:39:36):
I do have pine cones on my tree. It's a
shak tree and it came with the pine cones attached
to it.

Speaker 2 (01:39:43):
In college, going to college Minneapolis, Minnesota, allegedly my roommate's
cut down a tree next to the Missipia River and
put it in the dorm room for far too long.

Speaker 3 (01:39:53):
And then that's a firehouse.

Speaker 11 (01:39:55):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (01:39:56):
Instead of throwing it away, allegedly, we left it in
front of the girls room next door because we knew that.

Speaker 4 (01:40:00):
And they're like a statute of limitations at this point. Well,
so it's not a legend, Okay.

Speaker 2 (01:40:04):
It's kind of. It's part of the bit. It's a legend.
The next one is the cat person.

Speaker 3 (01:40:09):
Okay, Okay.

Speaker 2 (01:40:10):
Trees can put valuable ornaments at risk if they're the
left to the curiosity of cats. I've heard that ye
can ship in the tree, they say. Hence, a cat
friendly tree would ideally be either smaller the regular tree
or secure to a wall prevent climbing and tumbling.

Speaker 3 (01:40:24):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (01:40:24):
I feel like when I was a kid, like our
cats would drop, like at least like my cat would
always jump on the tree.

Speaker 2 (01:40:28):
Which one batman Oliver, Oh, go Oliver. Yeah, the sentimental
family person.

Speaker 4 (01:40:35):
Okay, I feel like that's my parents. Well, that was
my parents tree until I made my mom pought new ornaments.
Wait why because it was just tacky, like I just
like it had like stuff that my brother and I
had made, like these ornaments, and my mom even like
didn't like them. So I was like, hey, girl, why
don't you go buy some new ones because like they're
they're falling apart anyway, like the old art project one. Yes,

(01:40:56):
like literally there's like pop school stick ones that just
were falling apart of like, hey, you don't even like
this tree, like if if you want to, and like
so we started hanging like the kid once in the
back because they don't like a giant tree.

Speaker 2 (01:41:07):
But you still have them. Yeah, are there more of
your ornaments than your brother Colby's obviously.

Speaker 7 (01:41:11):
Yes, I'm obvious eight years old, but that doesn't make
it obvious the same same length of a childhood you
had different upbringings out Okay, yeah, but you're you're both
kids for the same amount of time.

Speaker 15 (01:41:23):
Uh.

Speaker 2 (01:41:23):
They say this ship works best if you have extended
family to nail. Each membership bring ornament they feel reflects
their personality and energy.

Speaker 3 (01:41:30):
Sure.

Speaker 2 (01:41:30):
Yeah, Uh that to me sounds like a fight bro in.
Though if each person brings her own ornament, then it's
like who goes where? Say, this sounds like a lot.

Speaker 15 (01:41:39):
Uh.

Speaker 2 (01:41:40):
The traveler, if your ass is in discovering new places
and learning about other cultures, as trees for you easy
to achieve these souvenirs like key chains and shrinkkets from
your travels, decorate it. That actually seems kind of cool
that yeah, yeah.

Speaker 3 (01:41:52):
Fun Christmas ornaments at every location.

Speaker 2 (01:41:55):
That's true. Yeah. They say postcards can also be hung
if you carefully make a hold each and tighten up
with a lace.

Speaker 3 (01:42:01):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (01:42:01):
I kind of like that. That's a really cool idea.

Speaker 8 (01:42:03):
I do cards in the tree, but usually it's like
Christmas cards that I get and I just kind of
stick them in the tree.

Speaker 3 (01:42:08):
Fill it in it's it's really fun.

Speaker 2 (01:42:10):
That's a cool idea. The quirky creative okay, okay, A
creative thinker who likes to to file with Christmas trees
look like, well love this style. Coring professionals bringing asymmetrical
style for the unconventional look with unexpected colors and color schemes.
The shape, the ornaments, the colors should all celebrate you
being original in your quirky style.

Speaker 3 (01:42:29):
I feel like it's quirky.

Speaker 4 (01:42:31):
Now, it's kind of like it's also black, right, it's black,
but it has like picture frames with like Edgar Allen
Pohe like the raven and stuff on it, and it
has like a bunch of like movie like Nightmare for
Christmas ornaments okay, and skulls.

Speaker 3 (01:42:45):
There's lots of skulls.

Speaker 2 (01:42:46):
That's that's quirky.

Speaker 4 (01:42:47):
Yeah, yes, I also like, do have like some sentimental
ones on there that just like match the vibe, Like
I have like a key from the Renaissance Festival in
Georgia that they give you like when you go in there.

Speaker 3 (01:42:57):
That's yeah. So then I was like, why don't I
make this ornament?

Speaker 2 (01:43:00):
Sure?

Speaker 3 (01:43:01):
So I don't know.

Speaker 4 (01:43:01):
I was talking to our friend Ricky about her tree
yesterday because h is with me and I was like,
this is what I finally did with the our keys.
That's dorrible, that's cool, it's cool.

Speaker 2 (01:43:11):
There's only two left. The Stylist Trend Center. They know
that SRI has space for only a few things, but
each item plays a key role in the whole thing.
They say, opting for metallic tones, microchrome schemes.

Speaker 17 (01:43:24):
Uh.

Speaker 2 (01:43:24):
The last one is the tech enthusiasts. So along with
the digital fire pit, the tech Enthusiast tree displays led
lights that change colors with patterns. They are also easy
control from a smartphone, even have sounds of nature carols.

Speaker 4 (01:43:37):
Okay, that sounds like my friend, Like my friend Maggie,
her roommate's a tech dude, and I feel like he
would have a.

Speaker 7 (01:43:43):
Tree like that.

Speaker 2 (01:43:44):
Yeah, it sounds cool. And I think my neighbor, I
think he's kind of that guy's all the tech stuff,
so and I think, yeah, I'm just basic. Did you
have one that sets out to U sauce for you.

Speaker 3 (01:43:54):
Or no, the the trendsetter one or whatever it was called, Yeah,
how about you.

Speaker 8 (01:44:01):
I feel like I'm headed more towards the sentimental family person,
like I have a lot of like especially now little
ornaments that Charlie's been making.

Speaker 2 (01:44:12):
So I feel like that's where it's headed. What I
love your thoughts over text nine to ninety three three eight.

So Sean Diddy Combs has been denied bail again. He
will remain at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn, asc
the awaits trial, which is laid hickoff in May. So
a federal judge agreed with prosecutors that Diddy could not
be trusted to follow rules if freed on bail. He
has proven to violate the rules inside you know already.
So the judge ruled this back on Wednesday, and the

(01:45:33):
judge said, quote, the court finds that the government has shown,
by clear and convincing evidence that no condition or combination
of conditions will reasonably assure the safety of the community.
There is compelling evidence of Combe's prospanity post you know, prosperosity.
I can't say it. It's fine for violence. So more
evidence of his violent intimidation has arrived in the form

(01:45:55):
in another lawsuit. I don't know if that I had
anything to do with the judge's decision, but probably for
the best, since yeah, he has proven that he can't
follow rules anyway and doesn't timber Like actually canceled tonight's
concert that's supposed to happen Oklahoma City on his doctor's orders.

Speaker 3 (01:46:09):
He actually threw out his back.

Speaker 4 (01:46:11):
So yesterday he shared on Instagram, quote, I am so
sorry Oklahoma City. I have to cancel the show in December. Second,
I hurt my back in Nola. My doctors have instructed
me to rest. Thank you for your support, y'all know
I hate doing this. So that New Orleans show happened
about a week ago, and he did injure himself in
October as well, and he had to reschedule a concert
in New Jersey.

Speaker 3 (01:46:30):
So I mean he is getting older, like you gotta
keep that in mind.

Speaker 4 (01:46:34):
But yeah, So Brett Goldstein, you know, he plays Roy
Kent on ted Lasso, and he is also on the
writers for ted Lasso. He confirmed long standing fan theory recently.
So he was in an interview and he said, it's
basically talking about the Wizard of Oz. He said, quote, yeah,
there are a lot. There are loads and loads of
the Wizard of Oz. Ted last second ball machine is

(01:46:56):
the one that's always Ted has to go home. There's
no place like home. Then there's no place like home
like Richmond Epsi. Yes, that's all Wizard of Oz. And
then he also went into explaining how his character Roy
Kent was the tin Man and then Jason Stacus was
supposed to be Dorothy, and then Rebecca or Hannah was
the Lion, and then Jamie.

Speaker 3 (01:47:18):
Was the scarecrow. So you're Toto so cute.

Speaker 4 (01:47:22):
And he says the end of the interviews like I'm
scared it's gonna cause me a lot of trouble.

Speaker 3 (01:47:25):
So yeah, I don't know.

Speaker 11 (01:47:26):
I like it.

Speaker 4 (01:47:27):
If something to watching tonight, there is Monday Night football,
Rock goes playing the Browns and you watch on ESPN.
There's the Voice that's on NBC, and then there's not
a lot of other stuff on.

Speaker 3 (01:47:35):
But I did watch that new.

Speaker 4 (01:47:36):
Lindsay Lohan movie Our Little Secret.

Speaker 3 (01:47:39):
It's cute.

Speaker 1 (01:47:39):

Speaker 3 (01:47:39):
It's on Netflix. Thanks tos, You're welcome.

Speaker 2 (01:47:42):
Everything to watch us up. If you need something to
listen to, you got your thoughts shot our podcasts out

listen to YMS radio dot com. Let me get to
this next to imagine your child spends your life savings
all on this. By the way, he's in his forties. First,
Sabrina intern John your morning show. Listen, there's one thing

morning show, it's Judge. However, I will leave that to you.
There's a man China has raised eyebrows after using his
family's life savings and stealing hundreds of thousands of dollars
to send money to a live streamer.

Speaker 3 (01:48:20):
Oh so okay.

Speaker 2 (01:48:23):
He was reported by the South China Morning Post. A
man with his surname of Hong became so enthralled with
a streamer calling him brother that he ended up draining
his family of their entire life savings to send her cash.

Speaker 3 (01:48:36):
Whaty Hogan?

Speaker 2 (01:48:38):
Just because she said call her bro who was stream?
I does not say who the streamer was. So the
man even resorted to eating just Plaine steam buns while
sending everything he had to the unnamed creator.

Speaker 12 (01:48:52):
Why.

Speaker 2 (01:48:53):
Eventually, his family cut off access to their funds, so
he resorted to breaking the law to acquire funds sent. Yes, so,
the man who was making deliveries as part of his
family's hardware business began stealing copper materials and sold the
items to waste recycling stations so they could send more
money to this streamer. That is not healthy, Yeah, somebody.

(01:49:19):
When the copper went missing, the factory contact of the police.
He end up turned himself in the authorities when he
showed the evidence of the financial transactions here confessed to
forty thefts. In total, he's stolen three hundred and sixteen
thousand dollars, all of which he sent to the streamer.
Oh my god, dude, that is Yeah. Also kind to

(01:49:41):
say this. I don't have access to my parents' finances. No,
that's no, it's not kind of an odd.

Speaker 3 (01:49:48):
I never have, so I've never.

Speaker 2 (01:49:50):
Asked for it. We never want to ask for it.
So if you're having a bad day, elician, send you know,
three hundred thousand dollars to an online s.

Speaker 3 (01:50:01):
Very thankful.

Speaker 2 (01:50:02):
Well yeah, right, and all that stream I do is
call him bro. Yeah, I'll call you bro for free.

Speaker 3 (01:50:06):

Speaker 4 (01:50:07):
Friend's stuff that she just hit yesterday. She hit like
the top twenty streamers for TikTok damn. Really yeah, because
that's like all she did for November. She called me
right when she finished, like I'm done, I'm back.

So yeah, those tacos. And then I made my own
nachos and they brought in uh pork.

Speaker 2 (01:50:43):
Well, they brought in deconstructed nachos solely so Shelby sauce
can macro own nachos and I did with the gluten
free chips.
