How we're.

Speaker 2 (00:30):
Do you anymore? Tell us?

Speaker 4 (00:32):
No?

Speaker 5 (00:32):
I was just saying, like, is this you know? I
just like I don't care that I was single. I
thought we couldn't talk about it. This is your There's nobody.
The roster has been so dry all year. There's not
even we'll wait a little bit further, there's not even
an one crazy.

Speaker 2 (00:47):
Okay, locking on today guys.

Speaker 6 (00:50):
Funny coming from you, okay, asking for a friend?

Speaker 2 (00:57):
Coming, got your tickets? Jingle nine ninety three three texts
DM's repper and at why miss radio? How's your last
twenty four hours?

Speaker 7 (01:06):
Actually it was really cool.

Speaker 5 (01:07):
So yes, so it was doing like adult stuff, you know,
chilling mind my business.

Speaker 7 (01:12):
I also was reading this book.

Speaker 5 (01:13):
Hoodie was making fun of me because I am going
to do a book club and he's like, are you
studying for your book club?

Speaker 7 (01:17):
Aka? Am I reading? Can you ever not be rude? Anyway?

Speaker 5 (01:21):
I got this really nice text from our friend Brandon
aka DJ Rise. Oh no, and I know that now
you know, but I just wanted to confirm because you
haven't talked about it in person. I was invited to
be John's plus one at a wedding in January in Arizona.
H John, somebody else by by the groom and the bride. Okay,

(01:42):
they had not It wasn't like a group chat. They
just text me and be like, hey, we just thought
it should be John's plus one. And I was like,
oh cool, because like, if he had a plus one,
I knew that he wouldn't bring me.

Speaker 7 (01:52):
He breaks away else.

Speaker 5 (01:53):
Probably Luckily he has no one to bring, and he
never had a plus one in the first place, so
now he does and it has to be me, so yay, listen.

Speaker 2 (02:00):
Probably I probably would have asked you because, like you know.

Speaker 7 (02:04):
I do, I know a lot of people will be there.

Speaker 2 (02:07):
Yeah. Yeah, So he texted me yesterday, Hey, sous Ranley
talking about Shelby your jests which is missus Brandon, and
she said she's great, she should come to the wedding.
I was like, what she meant it, she'll be I said,
oh my god, Shelby loved that. Yeah yeah, Mike Brush,
she's don't even be so excited.

Speaker 5 (02:22):
Yeah, Because he was like, hey, should I tell John
and then he's like, two, wait, already told him. I
was like, okay, well, I'm just gonna act that he
didn't and bring it up. So are you going, Oh yeah,
I said, I yes, yes, great, yeah.

Speaker 8 (02:34):
So you are John's plus one plus.

Speaker 7 (02:37):
One to the wedding that he did not have a
plus one two but now he does.

Speaker 2 (02:40):
Also the wedding, it's a small wedding. I think it's
like maybe like thirty people, very small, so like it's
not even it's not even like i'd be perusing for.
There's nobody to peruse for.

Speaker 7 (02:47):
And most of the people there I know.

Speaker 2 (02:49):
Yes, that's why my friend Alex works on in that area.

Speaker 5 (02:52):
Oh she does very exciting. So that was like just
like the highlight of my life yesterday. I was like,
I get invited to Brandon's wedding.

Speaker 2 (03:01):
That's why I thought it was Audie and saying thing
that why I tell you because I was like, oh,
she's so taxing.

Speaker 7 (03:05):
A picture of me as a child.

Speaker 5 (03:06):
He texted me a picture of me as a child
while I'm texting Brandon at the groundhog.

Speaker 2 (03:09):
Yeah, because because we talking about projective coming out that
I was like, oh, this is very exciting. And I
sent you a photo of U seeing the groundhog as
a child, because that's how exciting it is. Saying that
fuddy like very excited to be next to the groundhog,
which in hindsight seems kind of dangerous.

Speaker 7 (03:21):
Why would I not be excited to be next to
a groundhog?

Speaker 2 (03:23):
It's fair question. But when Brandon told me like this,
girls can be ecstatic, I was actually the fum have
been for real.

Speaker 5 (03:31):
I was really excited because you were all at Talkbot
and I'm like, and I've asked Brandon so much about
I was wedding and I know every detail. I feel
like at this point that Brandon could share with me,
And so I was like, man, like, this is gonna
be so cool.

Speaker 2 (03:41):
We were talking about like because we have missed some
some work stuff for it, Yeah, thats.

Speaker 7 (03:44):
Okay, And so I said, he was it's so pathetic. Oh,
I wonder what I'm gonna do, and we're going to go.

Speaker 2 (03:51):
Dude, that's so, that's so true. You did. I was
gonna say manifested, but he did kind of sympathy fast.

Speaker 5 (03:56):
It was like, oh, well, because I thought that I
for some in the first I thought it was like
MLK weekend, so I thought maybe I could go to
San Diego and visit my friend's stuff.

Speaker 7 (04:05):
Steph might now be moving back here.

Speaker 2 (04:09):
I was like, well, I go, okay, well this is exciting.

Speaker 7 (04:12):
So now I know I'm going to Arizona.

Speaker 2 (04:14):
Fun fact, I haven't booked airfare or hotel, and apparently
this is a big convention in town, so hotels our expensive.

Speaker 7 (04:19):
Okay, it's been.

Speaker 2 (04:20):
A lot of fun. That's our friend. It's our friends
Sara's house too, So it's been a lot of fun.

Speaker 7 (04:24):
Yeah all right, her parents house.

Speaker 2 (04:25):
Okay, Okay, you've invited you this wedding for twelve hours.
This is the worst is the worst ever.

Speaker 7 (04:34):
It's gonna be so much fun.

Speaker 2 (04:35):
You're so excited. Yeah, I will well, like the so
brand is all my real good friends here and his fiance. Jest,
it's funny, I said to my like, you guys some
married like thirty years already because they seem like they've
been together forever. She's amazing. Bachelor party is a great
group of guys. It's gonna be a great group of people.
It's gonna be a fun time, it really is.

Speaker 7 (04:53):
So everyone going is gonna be so chill. I think
it'll be nice. I'd get away.

Speaker 2 (04:58):
Yeah, but I'm also kind of glad you going because
it was like everybody from the Bache of parties in
the in the wedding and so it's been just like
me and it literally is like I think twenty five people.

Speaker 6 (05:06):
So so all right, well yeah, well.

Speaker 5 (05:11):
Yeah, okay, I'll figure that out. Very exciting after I
get my jingle ball outfit.

Speaker 2 (05:16):
While there is that month to get that done, but
we'll get there. Rose with you.

Speaker 8 (05:23):
What's up?

Speaker 3 (05:24):
Uh?

Speaker 9 (05:24):
Just took the day yesterday to try to feel like
a human again.

Speaker 8 (05:29):
But my weekend was decent. At least. I did yoga over.

Speaker 9 (05:34):
The weekend, which I haven't done in a really, really
really long time, and I realized that I kind of
love it and I need.

Speaker 8 (05:41):
To get back to doing that nice.

Speaker 9 (05:43):
So I was while I was sick yesterday, I was
looking up different like yoga classes to join because that's fine.

Speaker 8 (05:50):
I was like, I need to do that. I got
back into pilates the this last month, so I'm like
plots and yoga. That's that's my vibe.

Speaker 7 (05:57):
That's what I need to do.

Speaker 8 (05:58):
So that's where I met awesome.

Speaker 2 (06:01):
Yesterday I went to the gym, got ribbed. It is.
It just keeps getting he going.

Speaker 5 (06:06):
To the shirts, it's weird. Did you buy like, what
like a ten pack of those?

Speaker 3 (06:10):
No?

Speaker 2 (06:11):
I got like three of these. I think, uh yeah, yeah,
like different colors.

Speaker 7 (06:17):
I was like, you're so ripped, like you rip for
your shirt.

Speaker 3 (06:20):
There it is.

Speaker 2 (06:21):
And then yesterday was day one of hockey trials. Is
a lot of fun because I think we had five
former players coaching with us, which is like the first
time that's happened. And then was talking to our head
coach Brian. For me, were two wins away from a
hundred wins, which is very exciting, and now that we
keep track, the school does. But I was like, a school,
that's a pretty neat accomplishment to have. It's very exciting.
And then later on today I'm going, well, I was

(06:43):
supposed to a golfing with a good friend android day later.
Today it's gonna be a high of forty one yean
so uh baby, yeah me Minnesota boy, Like, I'm not
really too worried about it. I think he's trying to
pull out because he texted me this morning already. It
was his idea.

Speaker 7 (06:56):
And he's also really windy out.

Speaker 2 (06:58):
Yeah, he said where. I can't say. I hope this
wind calms down. It's so cold it is at five
forty six. I said, we have seven hours, baby, we
got seven hours. What's so what time are you guys
going twelve thirty?

Speaker 7 (07:10):
And where are you going? Like out near from night? Oh,
it's really gonna be in the mountains, it's even.

Speaker 2 (07:15):
Yeah, but it's also like the last time I can
go this year because hockey'll be in full swing next week,
so we'll have time too on Tuesdays.

Speaker 5 (07:21):
So just double up, double up. What just go to
go play some golf and then go to hockey.

Speaker 2 (07:26):
Well, we'll see. It's it'll be I can't matchine be
that busy today, but I know it's Veterans Day. But
it's also it's gonna be forty one degrees. Yeah, so
that's like six threes above freezing ranks, so it'd be
very exciting Rose has the three things you need to
How much you got for us?

Speaker 8 (07:40):
I'm gonna tell you about free rides for Veterans Day.

Speaker 2 (07:42):
Let's see this if you want in my man's shirt
and coffee our first collar of the day eight seven, seven, nine, nine,
five four six eight one to call from.

Speaker 1 (07:50):
The city that changes the world, Peers Rose with three
things you need to know.

Speaker 2 (07:56):
For your Tuesday. Rose, you got for us?

Speaker 9 (07:58):
So the Supreme Court cit yesterday and it will not
reconsider it's twenty fifteen ruling that guaranteed same sex marriage.
So the Justice is rejected an appeal from the former
Kentucky clerk who refused to issue marriage license to same
sex couples after the twenty fifteen decision. She now owes
hundreds of thousands of dollars in damages. So there have
been nearly six hundred thousand same sex couples who have

(08:19):
been married since the landmark decision at ten years ago.

Speaker 8 (08:22):
So that was some good news yesterday.

Speaker 9 (08:24):
So more than a dozen people have been injured in
a people mover crash at Dulas International Airport.

Speaker 8 (08:29):
The crash happened around four to thirty.

Speaker 9 (08:31):
Yesterday afternoon as a mobile lounge was transporting about fifty
passengers from an arriving flight to Concourse d The people
mover reportedly struck the Concourse dock at an angle, forcing
riders to exit the vehicle by using the stairs. A
passengers were evaluated by medical personnel, with eighteen transported to
the hospital for treatment. Operations at the airport were not

(08:51):
affected by the crash.

Speaker 8 (08:52):
But I was like, that's that's got a great thing.

Speaker 9 (08:54):
Yeah, that happened, And veterans and military members are getting
special treatment of public transit.

Speaker 8 (08:59):
Fort's Day.

Speaker 9 (09:00):
So with a d O d or VA or state
issued ID with a Veterans designation, former and current military members.

Speaker 8 (09:07):
Can ride Metro free.

Speaker 9 (09:10):
So that goes for public transit in Maryland, including the
Mark Trains and Metro is also honoring veterans with patriotic
wraps on some of its vehicles through the end of
the month, which.

Speaker 3 (09:19):
Is very cool.

Speaker 8 (09:19):
Ros those are the three things you need to know
for the day.

Speaker 2 (09:21):
Thank you, You're welcome. Speaking of transit in Centerville, Mike
in morning, Hey guys again our favorite George Mason transit worker. So, Mike,
you want to win a coffee this morning, but not
for yourself, for who.

Speaker 3 (09:36):
I actually want to do it for my fiance. She
she's oft dame.

Speaker 4 (09:39):
She has booths of kids, so I figured she could
probably use that.

Speaker 2 (09:43):
Amen a Mike, you guys have been together for how long?
Mike coming up on sixth year? Look at that, Mike,
I'm gonna put you in hold. We'll get your coffee.

Speaker 3 (09:53):
Okay, my man, my man.

Speaker 2 (09:56):
I one a second, I thought this was that funny.
This is trending today, the strange things airbnb hosts have
asked guests to do. When Airbnb first came out, remember
it was like the anti hotel. It was supposed to
be the easier thing of a hotel checking. Yeah, it's cheaper,
it just it just makes things easier. And then like
they let these ho a school board mofos who just

(10:18):
get a little bit of power, ruined the whole thing
where it's become more of a pain in the ass.
An actress saying, hotel absolutely and in some cases more expensive. Yeah,
why do I have to clean up and then pay
cleaning fee? What does that make? Some of the most
outrageous claims were some groups had water plants twice a day. No, yeah, yeah,
twenty seven percent of guests that they've been asked to

(10:39):
perform extra home care duties beyond basic clean up. Plant
watering be one of the most common ones. Okay, I'm
not my responsibility.

Speaker 7 (10:46):
I've never had that happen.

Speaker 2 (10:48):
No, And I also don't want my own plants feeding
their exotic pets.

Speaker 8 (10:54):
Oh take your exotic pets out of there. Yeah, I'm
not so babies hit your.

Speaker 2 (11:01):
Pet, I guess have been asked to handle raw meat
for snakes or prep though mice for lizards. That's a
little bit too much.

Speaker 8 (11:08):
No, only if you give me a discount and I
agree to do.

Speaker 7 (11:11):
It's a huge one discount.

Speaker 2 (11:13):
Strip the beds and wash all the sheets. I've been
I've had to shrip the beds afore.

Speaker 5 (11:16):
I've had to wash the sheets before I left, And
I'm like, so when do I get up? And I
like start washing them because they had they have to
be dry. And then they wanted them put back in
a pile. They didn't want them folded. And I never
would forget how weird that was. I even commented, like
I had messaged them the day before. I said, are
you sure that you want them back in a pile?
They're like, yeah, no, we'll fold them.

Speaker 2 (11:34):
That's so bizarre.

Speaker 7 (11:34):
It's not weird.

Speaker 2 (11:35):
Again, it goes back to why are you paying the
cleaning for you them?

Speaker 3 (11:37):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (11:39):
One of the strangest request was to watch the host children. No, hell, yeah,
that's I'm here for a vacation.

Speaker 9 (11:47):
Is going to have some random ass person in their
airbnb watching their kids?

Speaker 8 (11:51):
Yea, literally, psych caught it.

Speaker 7 (11:53):
That's wild.

Speaker 2 (11:54):
Refill the fridge from the store. Some host have asked
guests swing by the sort of restock im is the
way back? Yeah, that's again that's not what I'm here
for it.

Speaker 5 (12:02):
But I've also never really been in an airbnb where
it had stuff in the fridge.

Speaker 3 (12:06):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (12:06):
I also wouldn't trust it. Yeah, like they always said
with comedians, like never if there's stuff left in the
green room, don't use it because people will put body
fluids in there like mayonnaise and stuff to not Yeah,
which is fair. Uh, collect eggs in the chicken cube,
that's yeah.

Speaker 5 (12:22):
If you're sitting somewhere like that, then maybe you would
just assume you can't do that.

Speaker 2 (12:25):
Yeah, but I'm still like, I'm not I'm not sure
a farm hand. Yeah, yeah, what I'm saying.

Speaker 9 (12:30):
But I will say if they said I could use
them I would probably.

Speaker 2 (12:34):
Sure do it. Balad take out the trash daily, they say,
being told empty the trash every single day with exact instructions,
that's crazy. Yeah, well, I think it's some places of cameras.
I think that's probably part of it, which is also
there's not the worst in the places of camera and
you can tell her watching because you'll get updates. Yeah, like, hey,
how is the outside? Leave me alone?

Speaker 7 (12:56):
You're being really low.

Speaker 2 (12:57):
Yeah, you don't even know bro that gume before you.

Speaker 5 (13:00):
No, I've had like I think i've I don't know
if I think I've had like sweep before.

Speaker 2 (13:04):
I don't know. Maybe, Okay, leave a handwritten thank you note.
Somehow is throwing stuff for Island Reviews like a man
of physical note. No, I guess or asked to write
something thoughtful before leaving. Uh, yeah, I think that's no.

Speaker 9 (13:16):
I mean, you can ask me to sign your guest book,
but I'm not writing you a handwritten thank you for
letting me stay in your home that I paid for.

Speaker 2 (13:25):
No tend to their garden.

Speaker 7 (13:28):
If do these people know this going in or do they.

Speaker 2 (13:30):
Just sign something. I think it's one of those things
where may probably read the whole package book the place
and go, but like, yeah, that is wild. But also
airbnb is like this is the reason why you're struggling
because you have morons like this, do you things? I
use one towel the whole state. No, that's I.

Speaker 5 (13:45):
Haven't at places before where they give me two towels
and I'm there for like a week.

Speaker 2 (13:49):
That's a while to me. Yeah, do you want me
to walk around your floors wet them?

Speaker 5 (13:53):
And it's a place that you could have more than
just one person, And I'm like, okay, what do we do?

Speaker 2 (13:58):
Turn off the Wi Fi?

Speaker 3 (13:59):
And uh?

Speaker 2 (14:02):
Some hosts believe routers. We turned off the night They
say it saves energy or improved sleep.

Speaker 7 (14:06):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (14:07):
Also for guests that means you lose connection. Yeah that's so.
And then though, if you have someplace to see you
have no service, Yeah, what do you do? You only
connected to like Wi Fi to talk to people? That's
a no go. Also would be the other thing.

Speaker 7 (14:22):
They would know. They probably get an alert or something.

Speaker 2 (14:23):
Maybe Yeah, And the last one on here again crazy
bring the host a gift?

Speaker 7 (14:28):
No, I'm not gonna bring you a.

Speaker 2 (14:30):
Gift paying yeah, yeah, like if it's not like I'm
a guest in your house for free, like your points. Yeah,
I'm you have my credit card paying? Yes? Uh, they
say I believe or not. Some listings ask guests a
president could be wine, chocolates or assuming her from home. No, yeah,
that's uh.

Speaker 5 (14:50):
You shouldn't have an airbnb if you're asking for gifts,
that's weird because.

Speaker 2 (14:53):
I would also feel like at that point, if I
don't give a gift, that's good enough, A You're gonna
ruin my rating then as a guest, and like I
was messy and charging for stuff, that's weird. I'm I'm
not giving an off free. If I'm seeing your house
for free, I'll bring one or something. But yeah, that's
a a no go. Intern, Johnny Morning Show is somber now.

this collab includes the launch of the TikTok podcast network,
which will feature up twenty five podcasts hosted by TikTok creators.
You know, iHeartMedia, I guess podcasting platform in the world.
But the partnership also includes TikTok Radio. So that's going

(16:20):
to pair TikTok creators with iHeart Radio personalities where listeners
will feel like they're scrolling on TikTok but with three
years so very cool. iHeart Media and TikTok will also
pair live events like the iHeart Radio Music Festival, also
the Award Festival Very Setnaic. The Jonas Brothers just invited
themselves to America's New Year's Eve party, if you will.
Where they're going to ring it in. They're calling it

(16:40):
Welcome to twenty twenty six. It's in an air force
on Samsung TV. They've been doing this for a few
of their shows throughout this year.

Speaker 7 (16:47):
So the Joe Bros.

Speaker 5 (16:48):
Will take the stage for this special live performance at
the hot the hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Hollywood, Florida.
It's going to kick off Wednesday, December thirty first at
ten pm. And then they when they drop the message,
they said, quote, twenty twenty five will be a year
we always will remember, and we couldn't think of a
better way to kick off the new one by celebrating
with our fans. We can't wait to count down to
midnight together and welcome twenty twenty six in Miami as

(17:10):
well with our fans at home. I'm so very cool.
So if you have Sansung TV, you can watch it
or just get tickets. Go sounds fun and gta uh.
They keep pushing back to.

Speaker 7 (17:20):
A lease dates.

Speaker 2 (17:21):
Oh oh my god, ah.

Speaker 5 (17:24):
So our subject Okay, so basically you know we've been
hearing the time time again. Oh yes, sat come out
at this time this time, so their lease of Grand
Theft Auto. What's it the fifth or six six six? Right, Yeah,
it's been delayed this time. It's supposed to be apparently
November twenty twenty six, before it was May.

Speaker 2 (17:41):
Right, but or it was supposed to be this year
and then.

Speaker 7 (17:44):
Yeah, then they postponed it again.

Speaker 2 (17:46):
I'm here with from their desk, suns that buddy. Uh
so November?

Speaker 5 (17:51):
Yeah, yeah, November twenty twenty six. No, but before it
was supposed to be, wasn't it supposed to be May?

Speaker 2 (17:55):
Supposed to be May. But there's a bunch of stuff
coming out in May, too, like the Mandalorian movie comes out,
making us wait yea. They believe the budget for the
game anywhere between one to two billion dollars casual man,
which means they're going to make four times a mouth
like you can wait. The fifth one came out in
twenty thirteen. Yeah, at the time, it was the highest
grossing entertainment property ever. Yeah, thirteen years ago, but something

(18:20):
was out, so it's pretty cool. It looks great, Miss mareenshots.

Speaker 7 (18:25):
I don't think I've played since twenty thirteen.

Speaker 2 (18:28):
It's sick with my experience.

Speaker 5 (18:29):
Games have changed, Yeah, yeah, yeah, well good to know. Yeah,
it'll be in here in time for Christmas the next year.
So they apologize said that they're sorry for adding additional time.

Speaker 2 (18:41):
But uh not for not forgiven.

Speaker 7 (18:43):
Is the second or.

Speaker 5 (18:43):
Third time I've talked about this since they announced, so
clearly I don't remember anything though anyway. For looking for
something to watch the night, we got Dancing with the
Stars on ABC Tom Berger. Is it burger On that
he's going to be back after he got five or
five years ago? The new episode of Squad Game Challenge
that's on Netflix, trending in the US for TV shows.
We got Pluribus. I don't know my my mouth will

(19:06):
not say this word, and I looked it up a
million times the other day. You know, I'm talking about
everybody's talking about it. Death by Lightning is on Netflix
at number two, and then it Welcome the Dairies on
Eahbo DEnumber three.

Speaker 2 (19:17):
Thanks saus if needs some listen to how do you

real quick close personal friend of the show. Martha Stewart
my grandmother. Yeah, the Queen. Yeah, her tips for a
stress free Thanksgiving dinner.

Speaker 7 (19:35):
If there's one person that knows, it's that queen.

Speaker 2 (19:37):
Yeah, I would say so if I feel stressed going
to her Thanksgiving knowing I'm not up to par for anything.

Speaker 5 (19:43):
She could bully me, she could lock me in her room.
I don't care as long as I'm near her.

Speaker 2 (19:47):
Listen, she locks me in a room pantatic game.

Speaker 7 (19:49):
I'm like, okay, you have a lot of lovers.

Speaker 2 (19:52):
I'm not going to say no. Come on now. Some
of these are obvious, some of the pretty smart. First
thing is confirm your guest lists as ap.

Speaker 5 (19:59):
Well, yeah, I want to know if you're calming and
hear you're bringing, so I have your food.

Speaker 2 (20:03):
That was the first thing I learned, like with my
Christmas party was like you really get down the guest
list because people bring guests and just not tell you.
And that was the oddest thing about the first couple
of Christmas parties. I'd be like, who the hell are you?

Speaker 7 (20:14):
I feel like thing's giving a little bit different. Yeah,
you're sitting down.

Speaker 2 (20:17):
Even the Christmas party, people like bossing me around, like hey,
this is like you're in my house.

Speaker 8 (20:22):
Yeah, bring somebody.

Speaker 2 (20:23):
Out, especially for a white elephant where you need exact
amount of gifts.

Speaker 7 (20:27):
But that's one thing.

Speaker 2 (20:28):
Thank God, Sauce is the one that runs it.

Speaker 5 (20:30):
I literally hate it because then people will be like,
oh god, sure, and then they don't have a gift,
and that it ruins everything.

Speaker 2 (20:36):
Buying non perishables ahead of time.

Speaker 5 (20:38):
Sure, so you don't have to be so make sure
you're set in that market.

Speaker 2 (20:41):
Yeah, because they say, especially because it gets stressful towards
the end of the rush of Thanksgiving. Forgetful, especially liquor
is a big one.

Speaker 3 (20:48):
She says.

Speaker 2 (20:48):
Yeah. Family style versus the face steals. He says, if
you go to face sotyle, our dishes are set out
on separate tables, you have more room for center pieces
and candles, and with family style can make the meal
feel cozier, more intimate, but the platters and serving pieces
become the tablescape.

Speaker 7 (21:02):
Yes, everything around cute.

Speaker 2 (21:05):
Can't go wrong with create a cooking schedule okay, yeah,
they say, yeah, time is the key success on Thanksgiving.
With that, with all the food to cooking schedule at
based on prep time up and time having cook wear YadA, YadA.
She also mentions to like, if you're having guests bring stuff,
figure how much time they need in the kitchen, because

(21:26):
that would be a big thing in the ask. If
you bear all yourtuff set up, then you have three
other chefs. Oh yeah, yeah, that's the worst. Then you
have put dog like yeah. Yeah, I keep the core
simple and natural, she says, I don't stress that out
of our elaborate center pieces. Less is more. Don't just
think people won't really realize anyway, you know what I mean?

(21:47):
She says, the small pumpkins, linen napkins, and a fresh
greenery elevate the table. Did you know for a while
Pizza that was the largest buyer of kale when they
had their salad bar because these kale as the dressing
around the salad bar as like the to make it
seem greener they were. They would use it for like
that like on their hot bar with Yeah, and somebody goes,
we should atually tastes this stuff. Oh it tastes like
ass perfect. We'll make that health craze for three years. Yeah.

(22:11):
I create a purposeful kids table okay, yeah, like one
with like coloring stuff that she says, butcher to paper
so they can draw over it.

Speaker 8 (22:17):
Five tablecloths that you can color on.

Speaker 9 (22:20):
Now, like they have different designs, so they'll be like
they're they're different themes.

Speaker 8 (22:24):
So that's super fun for.

Speaker 2 (22:25):
I want that for me. We go to restaurants that
have coloring options. I always take creans and the kids
menu in color.

Speaker 9 (22:30):
The fact that you're not at the kids table for
Thanksgiving is kind of shocking.

Speaker 2 (22:33):
I'd rather be at the kids table than the adults table.
Kids are way more fun to be around.

Speaker 5 (22:36):
Adults are pretentious with you can't believe it or not.

Speaker 7 (22:43):
Tell me more about your cat letters, but they're still
the same.

Speaker 2 (22:46):
But with kids, like any stable amaze them. Yeah, they're
just like there's still like i'd.

Speaker 5 (22:50):
Be like, yeah, you have a twin. We had to
give the twin away and to find it.

Speaker 2 (22:54):
No, they're so stupid. They think you have all the
answers because they don't realize that doults don't know anything yet.

Speaker 7 (22:59):
That stupid.

Speaker 2 (23:00):
I know. I thought one day at being an adult
and everything now I've last when she says is let
your guests help because you're at your host and you
have to do it yourself, whether it's bring something clean
side dish to the table, I think that's.

Speaker 7 (23:12):
Five task like grandkids easy?

Speaker 2 (23:14):
Oh yeah, absolutely, yeah. I want to get to this
next for your Tuesday. Maybe think of Sauce right away.
How you know you're wasting your time giving therapy to
a friend. I mean just over two minutes. I found
this yesterday and so they thought, oh, that's my good friend,
Shelby Sauce. Thank you, intern Johnny Morning Show. Because you
kind of are like a therapist to a lot of
your friends. I am, You're very good at it. Thank
you at times for sure. Sometimes I wish it a

(23:36):
little more softer with your advice than you are, but
that's just you, you know what I mean. I think
those who ask you for advice and kind of know
that going in. Yeah it could be you know, the
cotton balls, or could be a stone throwing your face.
Just depends on what you need.

Speaker 7 (23:51):
Yes, I try.

Speaker 5 (23:51):
I try to be gentle until I'm sick of it.

Speaker 7 (23:55):
And I'm not a therapist.

Speaker 5 (23:57):
Yes, yes, yes, there's only so many ways I can
say the same thing over and over again. And everyone
knows my biggest pet peeve is repeating myself.

Speaker 2 (24:03):
So it's like, which is why you not get along?
Because I need clarification everything to make sure I understand
it how I process things, So I'll ask him question
five times just to make sure I'm fully understanding it.

Speaker 5 (24:13):
And I'm like, are you, like, are you trying to
change my mind about something that has nothing to do
with me?

Speaker 2 (24:17):
Because that that's how my brain works. So these are
the signs you're always playing. Therapists is somebody who won't
ever change, So basically you're barking up the wrong tree. Yeah,
although it is very annoying that we have a radio
friend who would always call for advice and you give
him the advice and he would just do his own
things like did you actually call then to did you
want advice? You're just gonna tell me to do something stupid.

Speaker 5 (24:37):
And then I just don't like spending a lot of
time trying to be there for someone. And then I'm
checking in and making sure like you're good and like
how how are things going like? And it's like you
don't seem to actually care at all, So it's like,
why did I spend so much time invested in trying
to be.

Speaker 7 (24:53):
There for you?

Speaker 2 (24:54):
The first sign is your gas tank is empty?

Speaker 5 (24:57):
Yes, if you're if you if I'm drained from helping
like this was me last week.

Speaker 2 (25:02):
I was tired.

Speaker 5 (25:03):
I literally did not answer my phone last Tuesday because
I was tired of being there for people, which sounds insane.

Speaker 2 (25:08):
Well, no, they say, you literally don't have energy if
you're in a relationship. This isn't be romantic friendship as well,
with the help rejecting complainer, your energy drains from you constantly.

Speaker 5 (25:18):
Yes, I just I tried my best to hear everyone
out and be there for them. But if it's like
the same thing happening constantly, and then it's the same
people calling me about the same thing over and over again,
I'm like at this point, like that you're literally I
hate to quote the definition in sandy because like people
used to do those all the time, like that's definition
of sandy.

Speaker 7 (25:36):
But it is.

Speaker 2 (25:37):
Well, it's almost like if I go to the doctor
with my right knee and complain about it for weeks
and months and don't take the doctor's advice. Eventually, doctors,
I'm like, hey, why do you keep coming here though?

Speaker 7 (25:46):
That's what I'm saying.

Speaker 5 (25:46):
Yeah, you're just doing the same thing over and over again,
expecting a different outcome.

Speaker 2 (25:50):
Or the doctor gives the antibiotics, you take it. For
two days. The doctor still feel sick, you check on medicine.

Speaker 5 (25:54):
Well, no, like Sunda And my friend called me that
had been needing advice and I said, I was like,
I'm not doing this right now because I thought that
he needed a ride. And he's like, no, no, no, no, no,
like no, I'm not taking to say you're the most
honest person.

Speaker 4 (26:08):
I know.

Speaker 7 (26:08):
No, I don't.

Speaker 5 (26:09):
I don't care. Go to therapy. I don't care. And
I said, go to therapy. I know you're close to
her mother. She can find you with therapist if that's
the issue.

Speaker 2 (26:17):
Yeah, yeah, I'm an X sign is you're easily irritated
by the small stuff.

Speaker 8 (26:21):
Yes.

Speaker 5 (26:21):
If I get really irritable, I'm either hungry or I'm
giving out too much life advice to people who don't
deserve it.

Speaker 2 (26:27):
Well, they say, if you're constantly rescuing someone, close your
eyes and ask yourself, is it helping them long term? Yeah?
They're in their best interest. We learn and grow up
in struggles life. How we face the struggles teaches important
life lessons. Are you allowing others to be accountable for
their own growth?

Speaker 7 (26:41):
Yes?

Speaker 5 (26:41):
And you have to like back up And that's why
I did with the girl that I used to be
friends with that I stopping friends with this year because
it was the same thing where I try to distance myself,
but then i'm I'll check in on you, or then
you're reaching out again.

Speaker 7 (26:54):
I'm like, oh, did I not check on you enough?

Speaker 5 (26:55):
And then I start to feel responsible for your misery,
which I why I might putting that on myself. So
that's why I'm sick of being there for people.

Speaker 7 (27:03):
Yeah, I think in general, I know it sounds.

Speaker 2 (27:05):
Wow, but I think I told you this past year
or so, you have a big heart and you care
about people, but like you can't. Yeah, it not that
you want to control them, but it's like you can't
be upset they don't take your advice, I guess because
it is kind of like their life. But it is
certainly you want the best for people, you know.

Speaker 5 (27:18):
With my own therapist is here, I said, I don't
understand why people like come to me like it's gospel
what I'm saying. I want to be there if I
want to be somebody can lean on, but I don't
have all the answers.

Speaker 2 (27:27):
Clearly say that it's a joke if you find yourself
doing all the work.

Speaker 5 (27:33):
Well, yeah, find telling you every which way you maybe
aren't being your best self.

Speaker 7 (27:37):
Then that's that's on you.

Speaker 2 (27:39):
Well, they say, even though if you initiate social outings, appointments,
meetings and everything that help rejecting complaining, doesn't you have
to cancel a meeting and reschedule? This upsets them terribly? Yeah,
they even spread They say, it might even spread rumors
about you, like it's your fault that they are not
feeling well and they have to reschedule your plans to them.

Speaker 7 (27:55):
I always feel bad.

Speaker 5 (27:56):
I always put myself in like this this section where
I feel bad, and I really that I couldn't even
be there for my other friends who actually are trying
to do the work and help themselves because I'm so
busy focusing a lot of my energy on other people,
because I'm like letting that suck me in. So then
that's becoming an issue. So that's why I just like
to be alone all the time.

Speaker 2 (28:16):
Well, they bring up Mayle Street's character and devil wors
product where nothing's ever good enough and she's unrealistic demands
and Halthaway can't do anything right and you just get judge.
They call it the help rejecting complainer a person who
asks for help but will dismiss all advice, making health
he feel downright useless. Yes, that is true. Yeah, because
it's like all right again, like why are you wasting
my time?

Speaker 3 (28:34):
Then?

Speaker 5 (28:34):
But also I think that if you have something like
that in your life, Like even though I'm saying that
I do this all the time, I've realized that if
I just say, hey, like I'm not going to answer
your anything anymore or be there for you, or I
set a boundary where I'm like, I don't even want
to hear any more about this because nothing you're doing
is helping yourself. You're in your own misery because of
your choices. And also I can't make the choice for you.

(28:54):
We're all adults, we're all trying to figure out. I'm
doing the homework.

Speaker 2 (28:57):
You're just not well, especially because if you want the
best that person seeing them sad affects you.

Speaker 7 (29:02):
That's what I'm saying.

Speaker 2 (29:02):
Yes, I'm saying, yes, it's like I don't want to
have my happiness ruined because you're But.

Speaker 5 (29:06):
I'm sitting at home sad about something that has nothing
like I My life is so chill right now, it's
so great, I should never be sad. But I'm over
over here said about things my friends are going through halftime,
they have nothing to do with mees.

Speaker 2 (29:17):
Sure, that's sir, you overcompensate. Sure, So they just kind
of goes walking eggshells the fear disappointing the other person.
So they say, you will do one favor. I'm doing
three favors. You're all in to try to like not
be uncomfortable, and you will overcompensate.

Speaker 5 (29:32):
Though I agree, especially if it's someone who's not trying
to help themselves, I don't think you should overcompensate.

Speaker 2 (29:37):
They say. The problem is to you gets so focused
in helping somebody by the time you realize that you're
caught in the web.

Speaker 5 (29:42):
But they don't want to help themselves, so you can't
make anyone help with you.

Speaker 2 (29:45):
It is true where it's like I'm not your parent, Yes,
you know what I mean. The last one is your
needs go last or don't exist.

Speaker 7 (29:52):
Yes.

Speaker 5 (29:53):
When I start realizing that I'm spending all day just
focusing on things that have nothing to do with me
and trying to be there for different people because this
has been like very common this year for some reason,
then I feel like I'm let myself go and I'm
so drained and I haven't even had time for myself,
and then I'm just mean.

Speaker 7 (30:10):
I'm a mean person.

Speaker 2 (30:11):
Well, it is like you have to realize your friends
can't be there for you all the time.

Speaker 7 (30:15):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (30:15):
I think it either for you all the time if
you have an issue every couple of months, but if
you're all the time. Is like, I need you there
for me for seven months every day while I go
through something that your friend's got things going on too.

Speaker 5 (30:25):
Well, Also think about if you're are okay. So what
I realize recently is I'm there for a lot of
people I would never want to be there for me.

Speaker 7 (30:35):
Is that weird?

Speaker 3 (30:35):
Yes?

Speaker 5 (30:36):
Absolutely, So that's why I'm like, hey, don't call me anymore.

Speaker 7 (30:39):
Like, yes, I can't. I can't give you any more
life advice. Get a therapist.

Speaker 2 (30:43):
Yeah, they say the most important lesson about the help
rejecting complainer is member they were like this long before
you knew them.

Speaker 5 (30:49):
Yes, or and if you need to cut them out
of your life, that's great because, like me, cutting that
girl in my life has been the best thing I've
ever done for myself.

Speaker 2 (30:55):
Yeah, they say, if you choose not to involve yourself
and they're messying tangle web any longer. It's their lost,
not yours.

Speaker 5 (31:00):
Some people like to do things for the plot and
it's we're a little too old for that.

Speaker 2 (31:04):
Well it is odd, I do think to that point.
Some people like having drama, and I'm like, hey, like
life is hard enough as it is about unnecessary drama
just for the sake of the entertainment. Keith, Yeah, like
my Dino Park the t Rex of Vloscipher are not
getting along right now, and let me take on your
burden too, brother.

Speaker 7 (31:22):
Please, you're busy.

Speaker 2 (31:23):
I'm a busy man. Yeah, is having this person in
his life a huge red flag? Asking for a friend
comes next, and a happy Veterans Day was become a
veteran state tradition on the station. My dad the professor

Speaker 2 (32:14):
To know for you Tuesday, Rose, what you got for us?

Speaker 9 (32:17):
We are one so closer to having the government shutdown
and did.

Speaker 8 (32:21):
It's caused a ton of problems across country.

Speaker 9 (32:23):
So the Senator proved the funding package last night that
would end the government shutdown. Now, the final bill extends
government funding through January twenty twenty six and includes three
full year funding bills for different federal agencies and programs.
It also brings back federal workers who were laid off
during the shutdown. So the bill still needs to pass
the House and be signed by the President. So we're

(32:45):
not completely out of the woods yet, but we are
moving in the right direction, which I mean hopefully the
shutdown ends.

Speaker 8 (32:51):
House Speaker Mike Johnson told Numbers.

Speaker 9 (32:53):
Yesterday to return to Washington right now for votes, So
they're supposed to be voting at four pm today or tomorrow.

Speaker 2 (32:58):
I'll keep you update on that.

Speaker 8 (33:00):
So, PG County.

Speaker 9 (33:01):
Police have identified a suspect in a.

Speaker 8 (33:03):
Nineteen to ninety eight cold case.

Speaker 9 (33:05):
There's a nurse named Sherry Crandle who was found dead
nearly three decades ago in.

Speaker 8 (33:09):
Her office at the former PG County Medical.

Speaker 9 (33:12):
Center, and genetic evidence collected at the time was recently
analyzed by forensic investigators in the FBI's Baltimore office, and
they turned to what's known as genetic genealogy in the
hopes that that.

Speaker 8 (33:23):
DNA would lead to new leads.

Speaker 9 (33:27):
The closest genetic hit that investigators got from.

Speaker 8 (33:30):
Came from a fourth cousin of.

Speaker 9 (33:32):
The sub Now, officials say the case is now closed
because that suspect died in twenty nineteen and but like closure,
like I'm glad you finally we're able to close the case.
And Washington Commander's head coach Dan Quinn will be taking
over defensive play calling duties during this weekend's.

Speaker 8 (33:50):
Game with the Miami Dolphins.

Speaker 9 (33:52):
Quinn aouncy yesterday that he will take over as defensive
coordinator for the game in Spain. Current defensive coordinator Joe
Witt Junior will remain with the team and work in
the press box on Sunday. So this move comes at
the Commanders are trying to break a five game losing streaks.
Great left the team with the three and seven overall record.
Yeah not great, not great, So hopefully that changes things

(34:15):
we'll see on Sunday.

Speaker 8 (34:16):
I wrote, those are the three things you need to
know for today.

Speaker 2 (34:18):
Thank you, Rose, You're welcome. As he grew up in life,
you realize adults done of all the answers as much
as you thought that he as a kid. So I
do ask him for a friend because he got something
going on in life you can't talk to you in
a circle about it usually involves them. You ask for
a friend because somebody listening has been in your shoes.
Is him having this in his life a huge deal breaker?
Give me just Ober three minutes. First, your most trending

(34:40):
song based in your votes nine nine three three eight
text Taylor in the Fate of Ophelia an intern John
in your morning show, asking for a friend? On intern
John in your morning show. Let's go fake name Ashley,
good morning. So your question was asking for a friend?
I want to make sure you get this right. This
isn't our boyfriend yet, this is the guy that we're seeing.
Is that fair?

Speaker 10 (35:01):
Yeah, we matched some hinge and well, I like, I
want things to get a bit more serious. But he
admitted that he's he works with his ex girlfriend.

Speaker 2 (35:14):
Okay, And so you guys have been going on dates
for about a month, right, yeah, okay, and you've you
guys have talked about like, hey, like taking things to
the next step? Fair exactly? And did he offer up like, hey, like,
I think you should know that, you know, I do
work with my ex or how is it even Broughton conversation?

Speaker 4 (35:35):
He did?

Speaker 10 (35:35):
He he brought it up, and he told me they're
in medical sales and they don't see each other very often,
but occasionally they do cross paths, and he just thought that,
like I should know.

Speaker 2 (35:46):
That, okay. And so was it a bad breakup? Was
it like amicable?

Speaker 10 (35:53):
It was amicable. So I don't really know how to
feel about that.

Speaker 2 (35:56):
And then I guess how long do you know? How
long they did?

Speaker 10 (35:59):
Roughly it was about a year and a half.

Speaker 2 (36:02):
And how long they've been apart for.

Speaker 10 (36:04):
I'm sure about the same amount of time.

Speaker 2 (36:06):
Okay, So so so they've been like they've been apart
for a year and a half of this happened to
work with the same company. Yeah, Okay. Do you think
it's a positive that he told you because I feel
like he probably could have hit it right.

Speaker 10 (36:20):
Yeah, I mean I absolutely would would have never found
out more than likely. So I think that's that's honest
on his behalf.

Speaker 3 (36:27):
I just don't know.

Speaker 10 (36:27):
I guess it's my own insecurity.

Speaker 2 (36:29):
Okay, So you don't know if you if it work
for you, like, if you could handle knowing that he
could be in the same room with his AX. Is
that fair?

Speaker 11 (36:37):
Right?

Speaker 3 (36:38):
Okay?

Speaker 2 (36:38):
Can't butt you and hold one second?

Speaker 3 (36:40):
Sure?

Speaker 2 (36:41):
So what do you do your fake name Ashley? Can
you say something? Should you back out? Eight seven seven

ninety three three eight to text? Asking for a friend
on intern Johnny your morning show? Asking for a friend
on intern john in your morning show. We have talked
a fake name Ashley. She has been dating this guy

(37:03):
for a couple of weeks. They're not in a relationship yet,
but they've been actively going on dates with the intent
of one day being in a relationship. She said, she's ready
to take it to the next step. He let her
know that he happens to work with his ex girlfriend.
They work in medical device sales. I guess they out
ran in each other often, but they dated for a
year and a half been separated for about a year

(37:23):
and a half. She's kind of wondering, is it a
good idea to get involved with somebody who works with
an X eight seven seven, nine ninety five four six
eight one to call nine ninety three three eighth at tank.
So I get you and hold sauce your thoughts.

Speaker 5 (37:36):
I will say I like that he was very forward
and said, you know, we dated like unto things a
year and.

Speaker 7 (37:43):
Half go, we're cordial.

Speaker 5 (37:44):
Did but also medical device sales, A lot of my
friends do that, and you really don't see your coworkers
that often, so I don't see it as a big deal.
I liked that he was upfront and honest and you know,
answering any questions that she had. But also, I do
you feel like she answered her own question because she
said that she just doesn't like the idea of that,

(38:04):
Then okay, if you don't like that, now, it's not
going to change unless one of them leaves that job.
So if you're going to be dating someone that you
quote unquote want to move to the next level of
like get more serious with. But I don't think you
can get serious if you are already saying no, that's
like a no go for me. You're not going to
change your opinion. He's not going to leave his job
for you. You've been dating for three weeks.

Speaker 12 (38:23):
Yea.

Speaker 2 (38:24):
And also, I guess if that is like her decision, right,
she knows she can't do it. There's nothing wrong with
that's that's it's like, this means it's not going to
work for you.

Speaker 5 (38:31):
Yeah, so, and then that's just going to become a burden.
If you did act like, oh that's fine and you
didn't really feel that way, it will be a burden
going forward.

Speaker 3 (38:39):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (38:40):
I think that's that's fair.

Speaker 5 (38:41):
I say, probably endic because it doesn't sound like you're
ready for that. But I don't think that's a big
deal because they probably hardly see each other.

Speaker 2 (38:49):
Well, I think the year and a half between to day.
For year and a half, that's obviously a long term relationship.
But then the fact they've been able to work with
each other while being broken up for a year and
a half to your points, us probably suggest they don't
each other that often. If they do, they can at
least handle it.

Speaker 7 (39:03):
They can ask like adults about it, which is great.

Speaker 2 (39:05):
Yeah, because I feel like if you worked with a
next for a year and a half and you hate it,
you would move on.

Speaker 7 (39:09):
I said they ended in a year and a half ago.

Speaker 2 (39:11):
Yeah, it was so saying said they probably worked with
each other for your and half season broken up, and
clearly they must be on decent terms and they can
still work with each other or they on see each other,
which is also there's that too in Rockville aerial, good morning.

Speaker 3 (39:26):
Good morning.

Speaker 2 (39:27):
So you your your and boyfriend works with an X.

Speaker 13 (39:32):
Yeah, and I'll be honest with you, like he told
me right away when we first started dating.

Speaker 4 (39:38):
And it has not been an issue at all.

Speaker 13 (39:40):
So as long as your boyfriend communicates it with you,
I just it's not an issue.

Speaker 4 (39:45):
It's not a big deal.

Speaker 12 (39:47):
Honesty is very important.

Speaker 2 (39:49):
Yeah, can I asked a question aariel and not to
play Dallas advocate. Let's just say he never told you.
Let's say he never told you. Would you have found out?
You think?

Speaker 3 (39:59):
I mean?

Speaker 13 (40:00):
I majored in digging up history, so like, yeah, I
would have found out, Like that's why women are such
great archaeologists, because we can did up the past.

Speaker 2 (40:11):
Actually, are you actually do you have dinosaurs? Does that
we do for a living?

Speaker 4 (40:16):
No?

Speaker 2 (40:17):
Of course not, damn okay.

Speaker 13 (40:20):
I absolutely not. But I know that I would have
found it would have come up.

Speaker 4 (40:26):
Whether it would have come.

Speaker 13 (40:27):
Up six months in or two years in like we're in,
it would have come up, and it's best to not
have that sprung on you. Especially it would have come
up at some holiday party or something a friend knows,
a coworker, someone would have known. As long as there's
honesty from the beginning, there's no reason why this can't work.

Speaker 2 (40:48):
See the question have you ever have you ever seen
the ex I gat an event or anything like that,
or now.

Speaker 4 (40:54):
Yeah, well that's what I'm saying. I've seen her at
their holiday Christmas party. I did last year, and I'm
sure I will this year.

Speaker 13 (41:00):
It's not it's I think maybe the first time things
can be uncomfortable, because I think it also depends what
type of ex it is, how long they work together.
But truthfully, as long as there's honesty, there really shouldn't
be this much of an issue truly.

Speaker 8 (41:16):
I'm being honest.

Speaker 2 (41:18):
Your home one second, let your hole gets your coffee,
rose your thoughts with this.

Speaker 9 (41:21):
I think as long as he's not harboring any feelings
for her, I don't see how it could be. Like,
as long as both people have moved on and there
are no lingering feelings between either of them, I don't
see it would necessarily be an issue.

Speaker 2 (41:34):
Yeah, I guess it's again. I think if he had
hit it and then she found out months later, I
would be living. Yeah, that would be That would be tough.
I would feel like I was like, obviously I.

Speaker 7 (41:46):
Really don't maybe look stupid.

Speaker 2 (41:48):
Yeah, that goes back. The biggest thing is I want
to be the last person I know. So to Ariel's point,
I wouldn't want to go to the office Christmas party
as dating somebody and then be like, why is somebody
looking at me weird? And looking at the person with
and the guy over by the punch yea, you know
what I mean.

Speaker 9 (42:03):
But I do agree with Saus that if this is
already an issue for her, and that's like her hard line,
like she's she doesn't want to be in a relationship
with someone working at their acts and she just.

Speaker 2 (42:12):
Needs to end it.

Speaker 7 (42:12):
Yeah, it's not good.

Speaker 2 (42:15):
Just start dating, Like, yeah, somebody at texts in she
needs to fight the X no other option. I think
that Honestly, I think that's it if I was that
dude like, hey, you guys need to throw down for me.
Whoever on the prize, yeah yeah yeah, and on the
prize and whoever wins the fist fight you get to
have me? And how sick is that?

Speaker 7 (42:35):
Like you watched too many Baggirls club shows?

Speaker 6 (42:38):
You know?

Speaker 2 (42:38):
I think I want Yeah, I want be the Damns
on the Stress who the Knights fight for?

Speaker 7 (42:46):
So why didn't you dress up as like Rapunzel folloween?

Speaker 2 (42:49):
I have a choice. I was forced to be Donkey.
So you want do you? In asking for a friend?

Speaker 5 (43:22):
So, Ariana Grande has kind of been sending some mixed
messages on her relationship status with her wicket co star
or like I like to say, a musical Slungebob Ethan Slater.
So rumors have been going around for months that they're on,
they're off, They're they're keeping each other like a distance
for each other, they're not. So last day in London,
Ariana did keep her distance from Ethan at the Wicked

(43:44):
for Good premiere. So the reports are coming out that
he was quote unquote banished to the far side of
the red carpet group photo. I think that's such a
big words. That sounds like he's not even supposed to
be in.

Speaker 7 (43:53):
The group photo. You know, I'm just going to say
that he just stood on the far side.

Speaker 5 (43:57):
So of course Ariana Grande, Cynthia Rebo, they stood in
the center.

Speaker 7 (44:01):
That makes sense.

Speaker 5 (44:02):
It's Wicked for Good right like the premiere, they're they're
the two main characters. They're gonna be in the middle.
So they have continued to exchange Instagram likes. Ariana has
not really talked about her love Life. She even had
a profile in The New York Times this last week,
and she didn't mention him at all, but the paper
did describe Ethan Slater as someone ariana dated past tense.

(44:23):
So I don't know, It's twenty twenty five. People just
speculating and getting all all of and not they don't
even know what's happening. Instagram likes Instagram likes. So for
the second week in a row, we did talk about this.
Two weeks ago. YouTube TV subscribers had to go without
being able to watch Monday Night Football or any other
ESPN content. So this stems from the whole negotiation dispute
that was going on between Disney and YouTube. Uh, you know,

(44:46):
Disney want to raise prices, YouTube didn't. So the true losers,
of course, are customers. So Suday YouTube TV subscribers or
saved to notice that they are eligible for a twenty
dollars credit to compensate them for the inconvenience. But the
notice itself was actually inconvenient, so rather than just having
their accounts automatically credited, customers were told to look out
for another email with instructions on how to redeem that

(45:07):
twenty dollars credit, which is just wild because it's like
you're just making people.

Speaker 7 (45:10):
Do extra work and it's probably because you hope they
don't actually do the extra work. It's so dumb. So uh,
look out for that you have. And we've talked about
this before.

Speaker 5 (45:21):
If you could live like Kevin McAllister for a day
in New York City because the Plaza Hotel it's giving.

Speaker 7 (45:26):
Fans to home Alone two experience. Again.

Speaker 5 (45:29):
Uh, they do these for also Eloise as well, which
is cool and something else I can't remember, but whatever,
Home Alone but New York package. It will give you
a ride, a limo ride around New York City to
the filming locations like the Empire State Building, Rockfeller Center,
Central Park, Cargie Hall, Radio City Music Hall, a large
cheese pizza duh, and a sixteen scoop ice cream Sunday
with the topics the sausage.

Speaker 7 (45:50):
You can eat it in bed if you'd like the
package depending on which room you get.

Speaker 5 (45:54):
So if you get the one bedroom king room package,
that will run you one thy seven hundred and forty
nine dollar per night.

Speaker 3 (46:01):
So.

Speaker 7 (46:02):
Yay, but you get Alma ride.

He was not washing his sheets. It was just spring

Speaker 2 (49:08):
So this is now fiance. You guys moved in after
how long a dating?

Speaker 12 (49:13):
Actually we've been moved in for a year now you're
dating only for about like six months or no?

Speaker 2 (49:19):
Okay? And how did you domesticate your man?

Speaker 3 (49:22):
Oh? My gosh.

Speaker 4 (49:25):
All he had was team sports cups and silverware. He
had stadium cubs, he had the Capital's Cup.

Speaker 3 (49:34):
Sure, he had everything. Was I was like, we have
to be adults now.

Speaker 10 (49:42):
Like we can.

Speaker 3 (49:43):
We can bring that out during sports game. Sure we
need to bring like real silverware.

Speaker 2 (49:48):
So if he went over to his place like a
glass of wine, he poured it like a Capitol's cup.

Speaker 4 (49:53):
Oh, absolutely, absolutely.

Speaker 15 (49:55):
No, amazing, that's amazing. Yeah, okay, yeah, I put your
whole one second. Absolutely, hold on, Harrison, good morning, good morning.

Speaker 2 (50:06):
So you got domesticated? Yes, and I also just got married. Okay,
when did you say I do?

Speaker 3 (50:20):
Uh? A year ago I proposed, and yeah, we just
got married over the weekend. But how I got domesticated.

Speaker 2 (50:26):
We've been together for three years now. But before I
met her, I would only.

Speaker 3 (50:31):
Wash my toilet board and shower once a year. And
I didn't know you're supposed to office and.

Speaker 2 (50:37):
Make me do it once a week. No, because Harrison,
they both have water and they both they're self cleaning.
I thought, yeah, I look clean, but duram third invisible.

Speaker 3 (50:48):
Make you do that now?

Speaker 2 (50:49):
Harrison, you are mother three days in the married life.
You sound ecstatically.

Speaker 7 (50:53):
You have not been beaten into submissions now.

Speaker 2 (50:56):
Yeah, I'm so happy to be Mary. And look me
to one hit music.

Speaker 7 (51:07):
If you're not.

Speaker 2 (51:10):
I've been married now for thirty years as of two
days ago.

Speaker 7 (51:13):
I've never been happy.

Speaker 2 (51:15):
Yes, yeah, yeah, let me go. It'sa Verna Park. B J,
good morning, good morning. You taught this man what.

Speaker 4 (51:25):
I told him about thread count.

Speaker 7 (51:28):
That's so important.

Speaker 2 (51:29):
But before you what was his thread count?

Speaker 3 (51:31):
Like? Four? Uh? If that?

Speaker 11 (51:35):
I mean it was more like polyester cardboard.

Speaker 7 (51:40):
Like the target college seat?

Speaker 11 (51:41):
Yeah, at a dollar general anymore.

Speaker 2 (51:45):
Okay, that's good, that's good. Yeah, now to kind of
sausage point of be J. Prior to you, do you
only have a sheet that he would wash every couple
of months?

Speaker 8 (51:53):
Or oh I don't even know.

Speaker 4 (51:55):
It didn't matter.

Speaker 10 (51:56):
I just replaced him.

Speaker 2 (51:57):
Yeah, okay, as you should never was there was not
a day yea, and I can probably use it to
strip off paint from old car or something like that.
All right, Beach, the second you're in the running, let
me go, Olivia, good morning.

Speaker 4 (52:10):
All right.

Speaker 11 (52:10):
So I am more of how I attempted to investigate
my boyfriend. I was a senior in college, who was
a junior. We go on a couple of dates. I
sleep over for the first time. He has roommates, Like
it's in a house and I wake up the next
morning and I want to take a shower, the bathroom
only has a clear shower curtains, which is a shared bathroom.
I get in the shower, they only have body wash.

Speaker 12 (52:31):
I was like, bee wash your hair?

Speaker 4 (52:32):
He said, yeah, I just used the body wash.

Speaker 3 (52:35):
Yeah.

Speaker 11 (52:36):
And then we go to have breakfast and I'm like
looking at all the cabinets. I'm looking for like the
silver where the plate and there's just like a stack
of paper plates and a bin of plastic utensils.

Speaker 4 (52:46):
I was like, is this what you guys eat off like?
He said, well, we don't want to do dishes, so
we just eat all of the paper place in the.

Speaker 2 (52:57):
Fin it's a bin of of utensils.

Speaker 7 (52:59):
That actually, yeah, I'm a little surprised.

Speaker 2 (53:03):
That's kind of I mean, so in college, my sophomore year,
we had four guys one bathroom, and to maximize space,
I nailed to the ceiling a shower cut around the toilet.
So you have a guy in the shower, guy guy
the sink. And I was being smart.

Speaker 3 (53:17):
That was was.

Speaker 4 (53:21):
Ed.

Speaker 2 (53:22):
Let me go in beautiful Woodbridge home of eb Elizabeth.
Good morning, Good morning, Hi Cirl. You domesticated him.

Speaker 16 (53:28):
How So I've been with this man for like eight years,
but when we first started dating. We moved in and
I noticed that he was leaving his trash everywhere, like
his hop, eating food like everything.

Speaker 12 (53:40):
It's so gross.

Speaker 16 (53:41):
I kept telling him that if he didn't pick up
offer himself, we were going to get like.

Speaker 4 (53:44):
A bug or like a rat infestation of some kind.

Speaker 8 (53:46):
And he didn't believe me.

Speaker 4 (53:48):
So I got so sick and target. I pretended that we.

Speaker 16 (53:50):
Did have one, and I like took little bits of
chocolate and kind of just.

Speaker 11 (53:54):
Like sprayed, like horrible spray.

Speaker 8 (53:56):
All over it.

Speaker 10 (53:59):
He got so terrified.

Speaker 4 (54:01):
Yeah, because you never fit it again.

Speaker 16 (54:03):
And to this day he is worse than me about
like making sure that everything is all sleeped up.

Speaker 2 (54:07):
So back to my point, you gash, You played in
the man's psyche and you gastoled him.

Speaker 5 (54:13):
You're like, look what you did. You didn't listen, and
these are these are the outcome.

Speaker 2 (54:18):
This girl is that hot?

Speaker 3 (54:20):
I guess.

Speaker 2 (54:21):
Yeah, sometimes you leave the man there. It was with
one second in the running. I mean, the radio station
has a giant bug problem. Yeah, and they can't figure
out why. Well, because idiots here leave food out over
the weekend and on the ground and then we're surprised.

Speaker 5 (54:33):
I was telling John today about how I've been having
weird anxiety about like the dumbest stuff, and I realized
my anxiety is also now about cockroaches being anywhere in
this building.

Speaker 7 (54:41):
And I'm like, and I today i walked into the building,
I was like, it's normal to.

Speaker 5 (54:44):
Walk to work where there's a lot of cockroaches, right,
And I'm like, no, it's time because I'm like cockroach.

Speaker 7 (54:50):
I'm like, wa, you go there, and you.

Speaker 2 (54:51):
Would think these cockroaches pay rent with how much they
walk around the SAE if like they were here first.

Speaker 5 (54:56):
Yes, you're gonna saw one walking in front of the
wash studios and I'm like, it's just not okay.

Speaker 2 (55:01):
I checked in for the day.

Speaker 7 (55:02):
You can start naming them.

Speaker 2 (55:04):
Yeah, Well, apparently you see worse because before a years
ago you see a Brazilian steak place on the main
floor eric sebody would come in to work.

Speaker 8 (55:10):
And be rats everywhere ewe.

Speaker 2 (55:12):
It's like, but where the sound stage was was that
was like a Brazilian like a Fogo type situation.

Speaker 5 (55:17):
It is though, because we get there's like just food
in every section of this place every day, yes.

Speaker 2 (55:22):
And it's left out because somebody goes somebody else will
eat it.

Speaker 7 (55:24):
And then yeah, we leave it out.

Speaker 2 (55:26):
We know we do, yeah, but also we're here in
the morning.

Speaker 5 (55:29):
Yeah, but we also have like the the what we
call them, the bottom feeders that come over, yes and
start eating.

Speaker 2 (55:34):
I'm more saying like when they get like if pizzas
all over here at seven pm, somebody's gon'n leave out,
but oh somebody else will get it.

Speaker 7 (55:38):
No one knows, nobody else. It's really bad.

Speaker 5 (55:40):
We've already talked about this many times, but it is
really bad. It only like fruit trays out espectually this.

Speaker 7 (55:44):
Time of year.

Speaker 2 (55:45):
It's not great.

Speaker 7 (55:45):
I mean, maybe we should start naming them.

Speaker 2 (55:47):
Never forget when some genius in this show puting ice
cream cake in the fridge and he rolls his head like, oh,
I can't believe one one time one, no idea, let
me go, there's no it was, and I don't like
decess We're going to eat it quickly and then put

(56:09):
it back and then forgot about it.

Speaker 3 (56:11):
We did.

Speaker 5 (56:12):
I'm busy was acting this year on your birthday again
for the snare row. We put it in the fridge
to make it a little softer, and then we're like,
oh my god.

Speaker 4 (56:19):
We got it out.

Speaker 2 (56:20):
Sorry I didn't grow up. Eating ice cream cake mean
eating fun? All right, what do you want being fun? Fun? Okay?

Speaker 5 (56:28):
Yes, sometimes childhood. You stop normalizing ice cream cake ice kids.

Speaker 2 (56:35):
The worst first of all, the absolute worst icen cakes
will separate us from lesser nations. Yeah, that relution war
with ice crom cake. Know that, thanks Eric to know
this guy trying to defend buying ice cream in the fridge.

Speaker 7 (56:50):
Made sense at the time, to make it easier to cut.

Speaker 17 (56:57):
Your eyes.

Speaker 7 (56:58):
It was a hod r me that told you do exactly.

Speaker 2 (57:04):

ammunition that you're just a gift.

Speaker 4 (57:09):
Me.

Speaker 2 (57:13):
Your most recent post Instagram, is that your idea? No, okay,
it's want to ask my phone got stolen and now
that's up there.

Speaker 3 (57:21):
Yeah.

Speaker 5 (57:22):
Sometimes Eric needs people to post for him though, And
that's probably why Severah wrote severas because Eric has always
When I used to be an intern, Eric would make
me look out for any.

Speaker 7 (57:34):
Kind of spelling errors or be like is this cool?
Does it make sense? I'm like, okay, yeah, and it
makes sense.

Speaker 6 (57:40):
Yeah.

Speaker 5 (57:40):
I wish you would let me do as your bumbleing
hat it so you weren't a great dad, I mean
a great day.

Speaker 7 (57:45):
You were a great dad.

Speaker 2 (57:46):
Do you spell community college wrong?

Speaker 4 (57:48):
Yeah?

Speaker 7 (57:48):
You spell college like cottage?

Speaker 2 (57:50):
Yeah, you know what, make mistakes and we learn it's okay.
We're still gonna put the ice from cack in the
fridge though.

Speaker 11 (57:57):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (57:58):
Yeah, about nine months so th before we were about that.

Speaker 7 (58:00):
So well, Cruiz's birthday is coming up. Should we get him?

Speaker 2 (58:03):

Speaker 7 (58:06):

Speaker 2 (58:09):
Anyway, it's nice week and he loves he's fifty five.

Speaker 5 (58:12):
He gets so excited for us Celeberty's birthday and then
talk about it here the whole day.

Speaker 2 (58:16):
He's one of those guys like, oh, please, don't sell.
He's like very you say, Prince Harry Megan Marko like no,
they don't do.

Speaker 14 (58:23):
Crazy.

Speaker 7 (58:23):
I would never do that.

Speaker 2 (58:25):
So, yeah's funny. I'm saying, I'm getting dinner with him
the night before first some works stuff. So's gonna have
them saying my birthday to him?

Speaker 7 (58:32):
Oh my gosh, that's perfect, said.

Speaker 6 (58:33):
Yeah, so that's gonna be. He probably set that up intentionally,
saying birthday should take them the chee cheese. Are they
still che cheese when they come out and they be like, oh, I.

Speaker 2 (58:41):
Haven't seen chee cheese in forever I've ever beend to.

Speaker 5 (58:43):
I only wanted to celebrate my birthday there when I
was little because they gave you the sombrero.

Speaker 7 (58:48):
I got to take it home. That was the best.

Speaker 2 (58:50):
But you took the sombrerow home.

Speaker 7 (58:51):
It was like you, oh really yeah, I mean back
in the day, how many some brews you have? You
thinks I had like four or five?

Speaker 2 (58:57):
Selling your dad's storage, taking space your fore father, you know.

Speaker 7 (59:03):
I mean, I literally, Okay, I'm not I'm going down
this road with you again.

Speaker 5 (59:07):
Don't text our family anymore and stop stop stop. Your
dad's gonna be on the show later.

Speaker 7 (59:12):
I will derail this. I will ruin Christmas.

Speaker 2 (59:20):
I can't you that you would ruin veterans say my father.

Speaker 5 (59:25):
Walk away from a conversation so enlightened, be like, I
feel like I didn't even know my fun.

Speaker 2 (59:29):
That is so messed up by wul The votes come in, Harrison,
who's so thrilledly married.

Speaker 7 (59:33):

Speaker 2 (59:34):

Speaker 3 (59:48):

is she there with you right now?

Speaker 3 (59:54):

Speaker 2 (59:54):

more tickets coming tomorrow, My.

Speaker 14 (01:00:07):
Dad, the professor on the show in about four minutes
for Veterans Day.

Speaker 2 (01:00:12):
It's Intern Johnny Marsh Show, Happy Tuesday, Happy Veterans Day.
Appreciate you listening Intern John in your morning show. Wesby
coovers Tedition on the Ragio station. Probably the last almost
probably ten years, I think on Veterans Day, the professor
joins the show. My Dad live from Nashville, Tennessee. Dad,
good morning. Let me be the first say Happy Veterans Day.

Speaker 7 (01:00:32):
Happy veterans are thank you very.

Speaker 3 (01:00:35):
Much and they're divided to be with you this morning.
Thank you verry much for allowing me.

Speaker 2 (01:00:41):
To be there. Dad. You always speak about Veterans Day,
and so I'm gonna hand the floor to you, which
is always scary, and uh, let you do your thing.

Speaker 3 (01:00:51):
Well. Thank you very much. I want to mentioned a
couple of things today. One is the origins were as
a Vetterlar's day in Europe it's decoration day. And when
you go to Europe this time of year, Britain, France, Germany,

(01:01:14):
you see many people are in grow her floral.

Speaker 4 (01:01:23):
Yeah pins, but the poppies.

Speaker 3 (01:01:26):
And they work away poppies. And it comes from Flanders
Fields where so many died in the First World War.
There was an estimate that between sixteen twenty million died
in that war, and nobody knows for sure how many.
The numbers keep changing, but it was especially a savage war.

(01:01:51):
It was the first war the twenty first century, the
twentieth century, excuse me, and the technology far outpaced the
actual tactics tactics where tactics are always there the previous year,
and certain they were prepared for machine guns or aerial

(01:02:11):
strafing from from turi from planes. The number of the
cost was absolutely horndous. The actual First World War started
on July twenty eighth, nineteen fourteen, and November of other
nineteen eighteen when the war was ended. The First World

(01:02:34):
War ended incidentally at the eleventh power at the of
the eleventh month in nineteen fourteen nineteen eighteen excuse me.
The United States didn't enter the war until nineteen seventeen,
and the reasons are kind of interesting. First the Meusitania,

(01:03:00):
which was a cargo ship that was sunk by German readers,
and the ship carried by only surplies, but also soldiers
going to the front, and of course so many of
those soldiers drowned the visit and their American boys. And

(01:03:21):
the secondly, there was the zoom In Note, which Germany
promised that if Mexico, which declared war in the United States,
they went to receive much tribute and much resources for
the Germany. The United States that accepted the Zooman Note

(01:03:42):
and that other reasons.

Speaker 4 (01:03:45):
Declared war on.

Speaker 3 (01:03:49):
Germany. What happened was that you had Britain, France, Germany,
Russia and other countries fighting war since nineteen fourteen, and
by nineteen seventeen they were fighting along a ride of trenches.

(01:04:10):
They ran across Europe trains warfare, and they murdered each
other at a deadly pace. Like I said, between sixteen
million to twenty million at both the Savilian military the
United States. April sixth, nineteen seventeen, we were fresh, we

(01:04:36):
were there to fight. We hit the German trenches, and
the feeling it right away was that this was a
new enemy they were prepared for. They retired, they took
substantial losses, and now there was the American Army.

Speaker 5 (01:04:56):
There.

Speaker 3 (01:04:58):
One point I want to make about the American learning
in France in nineteen seventeen was that either General Pershing,
who as the commanding officer of the American Expeditionary Force,
for one of the Thesese, it's not it's not clear
who actually said it, but one of them say we're

(01:05:21):
raving in France. Tell Lafayette we have come. The reference
was the course through the Marchisi Lafayette, who during the
Revolutionary War was one of General Washington's stayed for generals.
The Vircini Lafayelo course was French to a young man

(01:05:43):
in his early twenties who was instrumental and getting King
Lewis in France and during the war against Britain, and
so the General Cornwallis, the British commander, surrendered to Washington
because he's he was surrounded in the scene by the

(01:06:07):
French fleet, and the Americans had them bottles up as well.

Speaker 2 (01:06:12):
You had your own World War when you married Mom
and you've been in fighting that war now for almost
forty years.

Speaker 3 (01:06:17):
Yeah, I wanted to get to that, But you know,
I think I think it's important to understand a little
bit of history because those who dec understand the past
are doomed to repeat it. And the war ended in

(01:06:38):
nineteen eighteen, and twenty two years later we were in
the middle of World War Two, which was even more
savage than World War One. So do we learn anything?
I'm not too sure we did. There is a quote
by Partet Tuckeran in her book The Ends of August,

(01:06:58):
where one of the advassors, as We're asked, how did
this war? He mean the First World War? How did
this war ever get started? It wasn't clear, and he
shook his head and said, if we only knew, we
were swept up by events we were then and we
were where were to And I worry about where we
are today. But I want to see that. I want

(01:07:23):
to greet my fellow veterans today, and I want to
say that there is a problem with me, with the
veterans groups. There's an estimate that's seventeen veterans commits suicide
every day, and the reason for that is illness, physical

(01:07:46):
illness and also mental illness and a sense of isolation.
I belonged to the Vietnam Veterans of America, and we
have something that we do is we call them buddy checks.
And we haven't seen uh, uh a buddy around the

(01:08:08):
never dark New ground and seen them at the the
meetings and seen them and you read our activities. We'll
call and we'll say that we haven't seen you in
a while, and we just want to call and see
how are you doing? How have you been? Is there
anything you mean? Is there anything we can issue? Because

(01:08:31):
isolation and illness is some of the biggest drivers of
the suicide. And if you haven't other in your family,
she's sick, and see how they're doing, and uh, and
they give you a call to a buddy check on
your own.

Speaker 2 (01:08:48):
Absolutely, Now, Dad, if you don't mind talking about a
little about your service you served in Vietnam, and how
old were you when you deployed? There was eighteen and
you were there for how long?

Speaker 3 (01:09:00):
Was I was seventeen when I joined? And I turned
eighteen in May of sixty six and landing now and
in June sixty six, and I didn't know what to expect,

(01:09:20):
and I know what this was really all about. The
war shot me in any ways, as it did all
those who served in their war. The sergeant Well I
was there surgety five in December of the sixty six.

(01:09:42):
Came back from the war in sixty seven May of
sixty seven and was an instructor at the sixty school
for momonth and I was in. I took some courses
from North Carolina State University, I should say autists and classes.
I wasn't sure if I could do college work or not,

(01:10:06):
but I thought that I could, and it was accepted
on prohibition for a semester and made it so as
when they graduated from college. And of course there's a
great benefit for veterans buy it from the government. They'll

(01:10:28):
help the tuition, and they'll help with grooming board, and
they'll help with things that you need to finish and
graduate become a graduate. But once again, I want to
say that if I sound every song, that I am
because being a statistic of veterans committing to suicide is

(01:10:52):
a national disgrace and I think we need to do more.
And what we're doing now obviously, but if you call
the VA one of the first things they'll say is
they'll mention that they have a crisis line and encourage
better to call the crisis man to talk about what

(01:11:13):
they're feeling and why they're feeling. They're waiting too. But
it's not only veterans from uh from not my generation
is younger veterans, his veterans who served in the Gulf Wars.
It's the veterans who served in Afghanistan and in Iraq.

(01:11:34):
When you come back from war, there's a feeling of uh,
I don't know where I've been, I don't know where
I'm going, and save in life is a lot different
than where I just came from. And I always hoped
that people in the States would never ever ever experience

(01:11:59):
the heart of war. We've been very, very fortunate in
that regard that war to a large extent, has never
never really revealed itself to our citizens in our land.
Which it is another veather's day, it is much more

(01:12:19):
than it's another day off. It's much more than you
know it's going to the bars and celebrate. I think
you have to look up the totality of our war
and what it does to people and why people are
never the same since tell you that I want to

(01:12:41):
thank you for this opportunity this morning to talk a
bit about the origins of Feather's day and the terrible
situation that the war is and the effect it has
on those who who served during the war. So thank

(01:13:03):
you very much.

Speaker 2 (01:13:04):
Did it is at least we can do for you
and other veterans. Why have you here though? Have you
thought further about Joinings book club?

Speaker 7 (01:13:10):
Oh wow, what a pivot? Okay, Well, as a.

Speaker 3 (01:13:14):
Matter of fact, I have and my aunt some suggestions
some excellent books. You know, I think to understand today
in the world we live in today, you have to
understand what happened previously. Everything is connected in some way,
shape or form. And since it was a Byron's day,

(01:13:38):
I thought of some of the excellent books that I
had in my library on the origins of the First
World War, how it had started, and the effected they
have on civilization and the real what's really ironical, like
I said, is that the First World War ended and

(01:13:59):
I teen eighteen. In nineteen fifty nine, we're back at
it again. So you wonder what we've learned. But I do,
I do have some great suggestions. What I want to
make sure, Yeah, I just want to make sure that
the books are are Sauce. We find it interesting and
maybe uh.

Speaker 2 (01:14:20):
Uh you know, uh, well she's really in a smart Daddy,
I familiar with smart genre books.

Speaker 3 (01:14:29):
It well, I know I know what the term means.

Speaker 12 (01:14:35):
That's true.

Speaker 4 (01:14:36):
Great, all of this, I don't, I don't, I don't.

Speaker 3 (01:14:39):
I don't believe that, uh that Sauce was really into
uh that stuff.

Speaker 2 (01:14:44):
So I can see real question. Books read this year
one hundred and ninety eighty, one hundred ninety eight books
read this year.

Speaker 3 (01:14:52):
Day.

Speaker 8 (01:14:52):
It's not just mut John.

Speaker 3 (01:14:56):
Well, I would imagine it's a variety of.

Speaker 5 (01:14:58):
Books, right, Yes, I used to go back and forth, James,
all kinds of stuff.

Speaker 2 (01:15:05):
Ta testament.

Speaker 7 (01:15:06):
I didn't know. We've been here talking about my book.

Speaker 10 (01:15:08):
Uh, we.

Speaker 3 (01:15:11):
Give reward for my books.

Speaker 7 (01:15:13):
They should, they should, tay, thank you.

Speaker 2 (01:15:15):
Listen, Dad, it's it's always an hour to have you
on for veterans, say, and yesterday, of course we announced
that you would finish radiations. So congratt gra, huge accomplishment,
Thank thank you.

Speaker 3 (01:15:28):
And I just want to say again that the DA
does a great job taking care of the veterans, and uh,
in my case and the many of my brothers and
sisters were impacted by Agent Orange, and agent Orange is
responsible for many of the illnesses that we're sustaining right

(01:15:52):
now and in my case by several help markers due
to Agent Orange. And uh uh. I always go into
the year for a star exam. I always go into
a urologist to just a check to make sure that
the prostate clan is functioning. And this past year I

(01:16:17):
went into my check up and uh here, I just said,
you know, I did the manual exam, and I've seen
the PSA tests and the numbers are off. I think
you should have an MRI and I did and got
the phone call a week later to come into Nationale
for meeting with the urologists. Now I have colleagues and friends,

(01:16:41):
my brother in laws, for example, go to Vietnam veterans.
I always say, you know, make sure you go in
and get the prostate clan checked and other things as well.
But the and people will say, well, I don't like
to go in to get my prosty client checked because

(01:17:02):
it's intrusive, and they do a manual examination, then there's
the blood till they say, yeah, well, the alternatives of
that is not going in, not getting checked and death
so you pick so. Uh, I went in at the whole.
I had a cancer and the A took care of it. Uh.

Speaker 2 (01:17:31):
Whose sorry is this.

Speaker 4 (01:17:33):
Just trying to help?

Speaker 7 (01:17:34):
But yeah, all right, well no women, we never forget anything.

Speaker 6 (01:17:39):
No, I know that that.

Speaker 2 (01:17:41):
It's always honor. I love you, Thank you for waking
up and talk to you.

Speaker 4 (01:17:46):
Thank you.

Speaker 3 (01:17:47):
I looked at you so and I hope I didn't
bore anybody by my references to the First Wor War.
But they looked at it quite differently in Europe. And
the reason, of course is they took such gus casualties
some way between sixteen and forty millions. There is an
estimate that I believe it was in nineteen sixteen, that

(01:18:13):
they were half a million French widows who had half
a mind their husbands and died during the war as
a tremendous loss. So they look at it differently than
we do. But thank you very much for this opportunity

(01:18:34):
talk a little bit about veterans health and the importance
of contacting veterans of your family. Just is going to
do it. Do a buddy check. We do buddy checks,
and I do buddy checks for our chapters and others too.
So again, thank you very much for the opportune believe

(01:18:55):
the vision with you this morning. It's always a pleasure.
And Rose, I hope you want to be part of
her book club too.

Speaker 8 (01:19:02):
I absolutely do.

Speaker 2 (01:19:03):
Yes, count In.

Speaker 3 (01:19:06):
And if you have some suggestions, and Sausage some suggestions,
and Holding America has some suggestions.

Speaker 7 (01:19:13):
And John, Yeah, I love it.

Speaker 3 (01:19:15):
Eric.

Speaker 7 (01:19:17):
This is Eric fourth Wing.

Speaker 2 (01:19:20):
Okay, I think it's a great I read the first
and third First Dad, I love you. We'll talk later. Okay.

Speaker 8 (01:19:25):
It was nice talking to here.

Speaker 3 (01:19:26):
Love you, Thank you very much. Appreciate the folks couch us.
I love you.

Speaker 2 (01:19:30):
By the professor on a Veteran's Day, Now, I got
to play a favorite.

Speaker 1 (01:19:34):
Song from the city that changes the world, tears Rose
with three things you.

Speaker 10 (01:19:40):
Need to know.

Speaker 2 (01:19:40):
Well your veterans Day, Rose, if you got for us.

Speaker 9 (01:19:42):
It's Supreme Court said yesterday that it will not to
reconsider it's twenty fifteen ruling that guaranteed same sex marriage,
so the.

Speaker 8 (01:19:49):
Justice is repealed or rejected.

Speaker 9 (01:19:51):
An appeal from the former Kentucky clerk who refused to
issue marriage license to same sex Propolis after the twenty
fifteen decisions.

Speaker 8 (01:19:58):
She now owes hundreds of thousands of dollars in damages.

Speaker 9 (01:20:02):
There have been nearly six hundred thousand same sex couples
who have been married since that landmark decision ten years ago.
So more than a dozen people have been injured in
a people mover krash at Dulles International Airport. So this
crash happened yesterday around four point thirty in the afternoon
as the mobile lounge was transporting about fifty passengers from
an arriving flight to Concourse d The people mover reportedly

(01:20:25):
struck the Concourse dock at an angle and riders had
to exit using the stairs. Passengers were evaluated by medical
personnel and eighteen were transported to the hospital for treatment,
but operations at the airport were not affected by the crash.

Speaker 8 (01:20:39):
It was kind of crazy to see.

Speaker 9 (01:20:40):
And veterans and military members are getting special treatment on
public transit for Veterans Day, so with a DoD VA
or state issued ID with a Veterans designation, former and
current military members can.

Speaker 8 (01:20:52):
Ride Metro for free.

Speaker 9 (01:20:54):
This also goes for public transit in Maryland, including Mark Trains.
Metros also on our Veterans with patriotic wraths on some
of itspehicles through the end of the month.

Speaker 8 (01:21:03):
I'm Rose. Those are the three things you need to
know for today.

Speaker 2 (01:21:05):
Thank you, Rose.

Speaker 8 (01:21:06):
You're welcome.

Speaker 2 (01:21:07):
Everything Celebrity Sauce has or entertainment port coming next. What
you got for us?

Speaker 7 (01:21:10):
iHeartRadio, antiktok are collaborate. I'm gonna tell you how.

Speaker 2 (01:21:13):
Get to it. Just every three minutes you this everything
celebrity sauce has or entertainment of port. What you got
for us?

Speaker 5 (01:21:21):
So, the Jonas Brothers have invited themselves to America's New
Year's Eve party if you will. They are going to
be ringing in the new year with a special called
Welcome to twenty twenty six. It's gonna air on Samsung TV.
They've been doing these special shows for Samsung TV if
you have it throughout this year with their tour.

Speaker 7 (01:21:38):
So the Joe Bros.

Speaker 5 (01:21:39):
Will take the stage for a special live performance at
the hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Hollywood, Florida, which
of course we'll take off Wednesday, December thirty first, you know,
Year's Eve at ten pm. So very fun and basically
they dropped this message on social same quote, twenty twenty
five will be a year we will always remember and
we couldn't think of a better way to kick off
the new one than by celebrating with our fans. We

(01:22:00):
can't wait to count down to midnight together and welcome
twenty twenty six and in Miami as well as our
fans at home.

Speaker 4 (01:22:05):
Ok.

Speaker 7 (01:22:06):
So very fun.

Speaker 2 (01:22:07):
This is so cool.

Speaker 5 (01:22:07):
So iHeart Media and TikTok they are coming together to
launch a first of its kind multiplatform partnership. So the
glob includes the launch of the TikTok podcast network. So
iHeartMedia is the biggest podcasting platform in the world, so
it will feature up to twenty five new podcasts.

Speaker 7 (01:22:23):
They will be hosted by tech talkers.

Speaker 5 (01:22:25):
And then the partnership includes TikTok Radio that's going to be.

Speaker 7 (01:22:28):
Paired with iHeartRadio personality.

Speaker 5 (01:22:29):
So basically it's going to be an experience where you'll
feel like you're scrolling through TikTok, but it will be
just with their ears the radio.

Speaker 2 (01:22:38):
That's cool, yuh.

Speaker 5 (01:22:40):
So iHeart Media and TikTok will pair up for these
live events like the iHeartRadio Music Festival and iHeart you
know Radio Music Awards and all that good stuff. Also,
I know we talked about grand theft audio bit, but
the release of Grand Theft Out of six has been
delayed to November twenty twenty six.

Speaker 7 (01:22:54):
I believe it's supposed to come out May twenty twenty six,
so just in time for next Christmas.

Speaker 2 (01:23:00):
This sucks so much.

Speaker 5 (01:23:02):
Yeah, so they said, quote, we're sorry for adding additional
time to what we realize has been a long wait,
but these extra months will allow us to finish the
game with the level of polish.

Speaker 7 (01:23:10):
You have come to expect and deserve. Unquote.

Speaker 5 (01:23:12):
So what you say earlier that it's been since twenty thirteen,
So thirteen years later.

Speaker 2 (01:23:16):
Yeah, allegedly they spent billion dollars on this game, which
is also insane.

Speaker 7 (01:23:21):
That's wild. By the time it comes out, I will
be like, I don't even care. Uh probably.

Speaker 2 (01:23:27):
I think they said the whole Stranger Things has gone
between first the last Grand that now the whole Stranger

do you mean?

Speaker 10 (01:25:45):
What?

Speaker 3 (01:25:46):
What do you mean?

Speaker 6 (01:25:46):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (01:25:47):
I'm not a mechanic, but I have driven a car before.
That's several times driving now. So the guy it's not
been his names be revealed by German media, told police
that he had realized something was wrong with his used
Mercedes the moment he pushed the brake pad after buying
it at auction. The car barely slowed down, no matter
how hard he slam brakes, so we had to call

(01:26:08):
a toad truck bring it right to their para shop,
which also, some of this is probably gonna be on
the auction house.

Speaker 5 (01:26:13):
I can say, like, how kids, doesn't that go on
the auction house because how are you auctioning off a
car that.

Speaker 2 (01:26:18):
You don't know drivable?

Speaker 3 (01:26:21):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (01:26:21):
Upon inspecting the break system, mechanics found that instead of
the authorized brake pads, the ICID is equipped with wooden pads.

Speaker 5 (01:26:27):
Someone must have stole them, Like, I can't afford to
buy my Mercedes these brake pads, so I'm gonna have
to Yeah.

Speaker 2 (01:26:33):
They say offered almost no stopping power and damage the
vehicles discs I would imagine, so yeah, imagine. So that's
they say, obviously it's a criminal slappings. Yeah yeah, Okay,
they're investigating the auction out to see how it happens.
But that is that's wild though.

Speaker 7 (01:26:47):
That sucks. You're like, oh I finally good mode joy Well.

Speaker 2 (01:26:49):
Especially if you're working at like the the shopping Hey,

Yeah?

Speaker 7 (01:26:58):
Someone put some wood up in there, like it's.

Speaker 2 (01:27:00):
How to happen. I don't know that's the photos a
while too, because it is legit, like they wrote down
the company name on the brake pads, so like it's
almost on the on the wooden box.

Speaker 5 (01:27:10):
Yeah, I would sue, Yeah, I would just there would
be a lot happening.

Speaker 2 (01:27:14):

In the US Senate voted last night to and the

a funding package and that sets for the federal government
to reopen in the coming days, and it now has
to the House of Representatives, where it is expected to
pass later this week and then be signed pri President Trump.
So that final bill extends government funding through January twenty

(01:29:13):
twenty six and includes three full year funding bills for
different federal agencies and programs, and also brings back federal
workers who were laid off during the shutdown. Now, House
Speaker Mike Johnson told Numbers yesterday to return to Washington
right now for a vote, and that is expected to
have in its earliest four pm tomorrow. So PG County
police have identified the suspect in a nineteen.

Speaker 8 (01:29:35):
Ninety eight cold case, Goodness wild So.

Speaker 9 (01:29:39):
Nurse Sherry Crandall was found dead nearly three decades ago
in her office at the former PG County Medical Center.
Genetic evidence collected at the time was recently analyzed by
forensic investigators in the FBI's Baltimore office. The department turned
to what's known as genetic genealogy in the hopes of
using that DNA to find new leads. The closest genetic

(01:29:59):
ca that investigator's got came from.

Speaker 8 (01:30:01):
A fourth cousin of the suspect.

Speaker 9 (01:30:03):
That's crazy So wild So officials say that the case
is now closed because the suspect.

Speaker 8 (01:30:08):
Died in twenty nineteen. So, but the case has closed.

Speaker 9 (01:30:11):
And Washington Commander's head coach Dan Quinn will be taking

Miami Dolphins.

Speaker 8 (01:30:19):
Quinn announced yesterday that he.

Speaker 9 (01:30:20):
Will take over as defensive coordinator for Sunday's game in Spain.
No current defensive coordinator Joe Witt Junior, will remain with
the team and will work in the press box on Sunday.
From what I'm hearing, this move cons as the Commanders
try to break a five game losing streets. HI great, Yeah,
ideal got good and it has left the team with

(01:30:40):
a three and seven overall record, so hopefully we can
turn things around.

Speaker 8 (01:30:44):
I'm Rose. Those are the three things you need.

Speaker 2 (01:30:45):

two minutes. First, Sabrina on intern Johnny Mary Show More

(01:31:06):
of the Roses on internshown in your morning show holly'n
Recap This Quick. You and Ethan matched on Bumble a
couple of months ago. It took you guys about a
month to go on your first date after that, though
about three dates to be boyfriend and girlfriend in total
have been together about four and a half months.

Speaker 3 (01:31:22):
Is that fair?

Speaker 12 (01:31:23):
Yes?

Speaker 2 (01:31:24):
Okay. Do you think the month of courtship on the
app made you guys closer because most folks, I feel like,
wouldn't wait that long, They would have moved on. Do
you think like talking made it a little bit easier
to fall for each other get to know each other.

Speaker 3 (01:31:38):
Yeah? Absolutely, we were ready.

Speaker 4 (01:31:40):
We were ready to tree.

Speaker 2 (01:31:41):
Together, okay. And whose idea was it for you guys
to be boyfriend and girlfriend? It is actually okay, okay,
because I just want to make sure we had the
i'm your boyfriend, you're my girlfriend talk. We're not seeing anybody.

Speaker 7 (01:31:55):
Else to find the relationship.

Speaker 3 (01:31:57):
Yeah. Yeah, he was like, let's do this, okay.

Speaker 2 (01:31:59):
And you mentioned that you knew that Ethan was a
bit of a player before you guys started dating. You
had some folks reach out saying, hey, we've seen him
still on dating apps, which kind of got you thinking.
He went through his phone, didn't find anything outwardly, but
went to the hidden album and his photos, where there
are a plethora of screenshots of various women from Bumble,
all taken recently. Fair Yes, yeah, which that is odcust.

(01:32:22):
I don't know why you'd take a screen shot somebody's
profile unless it was to show your buddies, like, hey,
look at this.

Speaker 7 (01:32:28):
Hey look who I'm going to go out with.

Speaker 2 (01:32:29):
But even so, that is weirdd have you guys, over
the course of the last couple of months, are you
guys hanging him out the same amount? Has he been
harder to hang out with, Like he's aweso busier at
work or anything like that.

Speaker 4 (01:32:44):
Yeah, for sure, he's some busier at work.

Speaker 11 (01:32:46):
And I'm like, if he really be being busy at work,
especially after finding these photos?

Speaker 2 (01:32:51):
Yea, yeah, Okay, so I guess at this point then,
assuming that he has Bumble, I mean, what percent do
you think he's guilt?

Speaker 12 (01:33:04):
I think he is guilty, but I just need to
know for sure.

Speaker 2 (01:33:07):
Okay, Okay, make up, let's do track him on Instead
of calling the flowers, let me call from Bumbles like
headquarters to get some customer research I think we'll do
it that way. Yes, because if he's not in the app,
like I haven't done the appen five months.

Speaker 7 (01:33:20):
Whatever it is, I'll give you some more info.

Speaker 2 (01:33:22):
Yeah, we'll see. I calling for Ethan. Please, this is
Nathaniel calling from Bumble headquarters. How are you?

Speaker 8 (01:33:43):
I'm good?

Speaker 2 (01:33:43):
Hey, do you have a quick second for me? We're
doing uh some customer research. You have a fantastic prize
with at the end. But you, if I may be
so honest, popped up as one of my most right
swipe users in your area. So I was hoping this
to get a couple of minutes of your time real quick,
to get your overall experience, and I promise we'll make
it worth your time.

Speaker 3 (01:34:01):
Okay, Okay, so I get a prize.

Speaker 2 (01:34:03):
Apparently you are the prize brother, I know that's right.

Speaker 3 (01:34:07):
What's going on, man? What you need?

Speaker 2 (01:34:09):
Okay? So real quick? How long have you been on
the app?

Speaker 3 (01:34:14):
On and off? Man?

Speaker 17 (01:34:15):
Like for almost like a year?

Speaker 3 (01:34:16):
Maybe?

Speaker 2 (01:34:17):
Okay? How many times a week do you think you
go on and check?

Speaker 3 (01:34:23):
Depends on like my availability. I'm on it every now
and there, not not not you know too much, but
every now and there I'm there.

Speaker 2 (01:34:30):
Your availability as like like work schedule or just like
the day gets away from you or.

Speaker 10 (01:34:38):
A little bit of both.

Speaker 17 (01:34:39):
I found myself, you know, browsing from from time to time,
like maybe once twice.

Speaker 2 (01:34:44):
A day, okay, And so I want to dig in
your personal profile here. But if you had to guess,
like how many matches do you think you've had? Because
all I can see is are one of the top
ones in the area. But how many matches do you
think you've had the last month?

Speaker 3 (01:34:57):
Oh?

Speaker 4 (01:34:58):
Man, I I mean it's not it's it's not too
many times.

Speaker 3 (01:35:01):
I don't go on there and don't see a lot
of matches. You know, I'm agree with them, and I
agree with you, man, I have the prize.

Speaker 2 (01:35:07):
Bro, Yeah for sure, baby, absolutely. And those of those matches,
what percent do you meet in person? And what percent
do you guys get like intimate I'm asking, No, I.

Speaker 17 (01:35:17):
Don't, I don't try to, you know, meet you by
there for like a long term anything like this is
just smashing past bro smashing.

Speaker 2 (01:35:26):
Resychl yeah, yeah, honest, yeah, yeah, So you you're using
bumble in your words of smashing pass. That's for you.
It's more of a hook up thing.

Speaker 17 (01:35:36):
Yeah, yeah, I'm not.

Speaker 3 (01:35:37):
I'm not. It's not nothing serious for me at all?

Speaker 12 (01:35:40):
Are me?

Speaker 3 (01:35:42):
I thought you?

Speaker 8 (01:35:44):
Yeah, it's me.

Speaker 9 (01:35:46):
You've been doing this the whole time we've been together.

Speaker 2 (01:35:48):
Sounds like it. Yeah, crazy, Are you serious?

Speaker 3 (01:35:56):
Real quick?

Speaker 2 (01:35:58):
You can't this one?

Speaker 4 (01:36:00):
Yes, that's talk to me again.

Speaker 7 (01:36:02):
You should smash the past.

Speaker 2 (01:36:03):
That real quick.

Speaker 3 (01:36:04):
Though.

Speaker 2 (01:36:04):
I didn't tell you, Ethan. Monday is intern John, that's

You don't ever talk to me again.

Speaker 17 (01:36:17):
Get your show up, put down, don't don't be dramatic,
don't be.

Speaker 2 (01:36:25):
Really dramatic.

Speaker 5 (01:36:26):
She's not be dramatic. You've been cheating on her, and
you think that you're so high, Like that's so weird,
it's not.

Speaker 2 (01:36:38):
Wait what even.

Speaker 3 (01:36:40):
My wife?

Speaker 6 (01:36:41):
Do you have a world?

Speaker 12 (01:36:43):

Speaker 3 (01:36:46):
I don't have a wife, my wife.

Speaker 2 (01:36:49):
But you're still I think that's you. You're in a relationship, Ethan.

Speaker 3 (01:36:54):
So like, yeah, but guy, the real world, the world,
it's not a television show.

Speaker 5 (01:37:00):
Since since she doesn't have a ring on her finger,
you're allowed to act however you want.

Speaker 4 (01:37:05):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (01:37:05):
Yeah, by the way, because because you haven't proposed.

Speaker 5 (01:37:08):
Yeah yeah, yeah, that's crazy. Okay before not minds like
you don't have to propose.

Speaker 3 (01:37:11):
Yeah, but.

Speaker 7 (01:37:14):
Not like you know, open doors for STDs to get
fast round.

Speaker 3 (01:37:19):
You already know what it is.

Speaker 2 (01:37:34):
This is fantastic. By the way, here's thank you to
Old Dominion Pizza coming in today. They got two locations,
Arlington at the Lees Heights Shopping Center and University Bullbar
in Old Town Fairfax since twenty twenty three. The pizza
is really good, the wings really good. They're also partying
with bunny Man Brewery brun some beer as well. Did
I am taking some of it home as you should?

(01:37:54):
Yeah again Old Dominion Pizza give them on Instagram. Old
Dominion Pizza Underscore Fairfax. It was really it's so good.
The pepperoni's are smallest to get the little pools of
grease in them, which is just it just better, so good.

Speaker 7 (01:38:04):
They also they brought I don't know they have like
the square Pepperoni and like the regular.

Speaker 2 (01:38:08):
I only had the regular? Are you gotta square there?

Speaker 6 (01:38:10):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (01:38:10):
You was like, oh the square, No, I will okay.
Everything Celebrity Sauce has for Entertainment of Port coming next,
what you got for us?

Speaker 7 (01:38:17):
We're are you talking about about what YouTube might be
doing for you?

Speaker 2 (01:38:20):
Hang out? And we do want to say a happy
veterans say to all of our vets, we appreciate you
listening intern shouting your morning show tomorrow another chance to
win your sold out tickets our DC jingle Ball for
a zamby Capital One seven thirty five Wednesday. We get
you in right now. Though, everything Celebrity Sauce has or

(01:38:42):
Entertainment of Port, what she got for us?

Speaker 5 (01:38:43):
So Arna Grande has been sending some mixed messages about
her relationship status with you know, her co star from Wicked,
Ethan Slater. Rumors have been going around for months that
they've been you know, doesn't see themselves for each other.
They've been on off last day in London though arn
and Grande did keep her distance from him again at
the Wicked for Good premiere, so he was basically they're

(01:39:04):
they're saying banished I don't know if that's true. That's
like a big word. But it's like, oh, like you
cannot get anywhere near her. But they're saying he has
banished the far side of the red carpet for group
photos only, and that of course Arianna Grande and Cynthia
revoted in the center.

Speaker 8 (01:39:19):
Those that makes sense.

Speaker 5 (01:39:21):
So I'm like, I don't know why we're using the
word banished. She's just with the rest of the cast,
Like we didn't say that about Jonathan Bailey. So the
pair continued to exchange Instagram likes. You know how you
know twenty twenty five is she had not discussed her
love life In last week's profile that she did on
in the New York Times. It did describe Ethan Slater
as someone that she dated past tense, so or it's

(01:39:44):
not here speculating, So very fun. For the second week
in a row, YouTube tv subscribers have had to go
without being able to watch Monday Night Football so or
any other ESPN content. It all stems from that negotiating, Uh,
you know, the dispute that we talked about between Disney
and YouTube and really the true losers are the customers.
So very cool. YouTube is trying to save us money though,

(01:40:07):
just throw that out there. So on Sunday, YouTube TV
subscribers received and notice that they are eligible for a
twenty dollars credit to compstate them for this inconvenience. But
the notice itself was kind of inconvenient because rather than
just having their accounts automatically credited, customers were told to
watch out for another email with instructions on how.

Speaker 7 (01:40:25):
To get the twenty dollars credit.

Speaker 8 (01:40:26):
So it's like, why.

Speaker 7 (01:40:29):
I'm just so over everything at this point.

Speaker 5 (01:40:31):
Customers not only are just getting like screwed over by that,
they are also having to work to get the credit.
So what they're doing that probably so that not everybody
gets the credit because they want to save money because
everything month selfish. And I know that we've talked about
this before, but it is back. So in New York City,
if you want to go to the Plaza Hotel, you
get a chance to love the home alone, to drink.

(01:40:52):
Let's go, yes, and even if it's just from one
night so they're home alone, but in your package will
give you a limo ride around New York City, visiting
the filming locations like the Empire State, Boning, Rockefeller Center,
a Central Park Card, the All Radio City Music Hall,
A Large Sheets Pizza to Large Sheet Pizza and then
sixteen Scoop ice cream Sunday that's where sehnobs and you

(01:41:14):
can eat it in bed if you'd like. The rates
for the package you really do vary on what room
you end up booking. The one bed king room package
will run you one thy seven and forty nine dollars,
so hopefully it's great. Sunday absolutely Scoops whatever they gets
to go.

Speaker 7 (01:41:30):
Yeah, for sure.

Speaker 5 (01:41:32):
If you're looking for something to watch tonight, we've got
Dancy with the Stars on ABC, Tom what's his name?
Burger on he returns to the show after being five
or five years ago. New episode of Squid being the
Challenge and then trending for TV shows in the US.
Number one is Cluribus that's on off TV, plus number
two Death by Lightning on Netflix, and then number three
is it Welcome to Dary on HBO.

Speaker 2 (01:41:53):
Thanks Sauce, You're welcome. If you need someone to listen too,
you Crisis Podcast out talking about Grand Theft out or
six when's the actually coming? You can listen to y
Miss radio dot com. I gotta get to this coming
for your Tuesday. Jello is trying to make this one
thing a dessert. Give me about four minutes. Do you
feel like, as far as food goes, jello is pretty controversial.

(01:42:14):
Either love it or you can't stand the texture of it,
and there really is no in between.

Speaker 3 (01:42:18):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (01:42:19):
They are celebrating one hundred and twenty five years with
three new limited edition Thanksgiving molds.

Speaker 7 (01:42:25):
That's really cool.

Speaker 2 (01:42:26):
They're calling them no Thanks molds because they're shaped like
three of the most divisive Thanksgiving foods. Okay, Brussels sprouts, Yeah,
cranberry sauce, pea compis so damn most device saying.

Speaker 5 (01:42:38):
I think cranberry sauce is the one they're like throw
in the track. Yeah, I know, and people like it
the canned version versus regular version, and so and so forth.

Speaker 8 (01:42:45):
Stuffing not on that list.

Speaker 2 (01:42:47):
Yeah, I don't know. So they're just doing the molds
themselves that are shaping the foods, not new flavor mixes,
thank god, because that that ship of sale.

Speaker 7 (01:42:55):
I just I don't need that.

Speaker 6 (01:42:57):
No, even Jellow shots are hard for it takes. I'm like,
h yes, again, you have to if you think about
it long enough. I think it ruins the.

Speaker 7 (01:43:02):
Whole I have in my mouth too long.

Speaker 5 (01:43:04):
I literally can't and then I started thinking about it
and I really can't swallow it, even if it's dissolving.

Speaker 7 (01:43:08):
I have to spin it out.

Speaker 2 (01:43:09):
They say that Cranberry mold comes with cranberry jello, the
Brussels sprous one comes with lime jello, and the Peak
on Pie one is orange flavors. So if you want
the Walmart today, you're.

Speaker 7 (01:43:19):
Going to like cut a jello mold.

Speaker 2 (01:43:21):
No, there is a party like, yeah, really good things

Underscore Fairfax, Adding and Missing. Today's show missed my Dad
the Professor on talking a Veterans Day. That was awesome.
We also talked about how you domesticated your man, including
this guy would know silverware.

Speaker 11 (01:44:20):
I'm like, looking at all the cabinets, I'm looking for,
like the silverware, the plate and it's just like a
shock of paper plates.

Speaker 4 (01:44:26):
And I've been of plastic intensive. I was like, is
this what you guys need? We don't want to do dishes?

Speaker 2 (01:44:31):
And that makes sense to me. Plus there was the
guy who called because he himself was domestic hered. Among
other things, he learned how to do this.

Speaker 3 (01:44:38):
I would only wash my toilet board shower once a year.

Speaker 2 (01:44:43):
I mean it makes sense because the water washes itself. Absolutely.

Medal of Honor: Stories of Courage

Medal of Honor: Stories of Courage

Rewarded for bravery that goes above and beyond the call of duty, the Medal of Honor is the United States’ top military decoration. The stories we tell are about the heroes who have distinguished themselves by acts of heroism and courage that have saved lives. From Judith Resnik, the second woman in space, to Daniel Daly, one of only 19 people to have received the Medal of Honor twice, these are stories about those who have done the improbable and unexpected, who have sacrificed something in the name of something much bigger than themselves. Every Wednesday on Medal of Honor, uncover what their experiences tell us about the nature of sacrifice, why people put their lives in danger for others, and what happens after you’ve become a hero. Special thanks to series creator Dan McGinn, to the Congressional Medal of Honor Society and Adam Plumpton. Medal of Honor begins on May 28.
