have a talked her into and my I mean myself
and my friend Chelsea into joining us for our year's
trip to Puntcana.

I'm very excited about that. So she is going to go.

Speaker 4 (00:52):
And then uh, yeah, so I was sad about that.
And then Yester, just the adult stuff. I had people
over on Halloween and I have a white couch that
I've made my entire personality having a white couch. Unfortunately,
and I uh, there was there were some stains on
it because you know people just I think one was
just from someone's jeans. Honestly, it was just a gene mark.

And I'm like, why are you jeans so blue? Where
did you buy those? Like I'm not even joking and
I know who it is. But anyway, Boddy Garrett, yes,
why are you calling out.

My friend because he wore blue jeans? Is he wentso
derk It's like it's gotta be him. Okay, don't call
my friends ever again. Anyway, I'm the only one allowed
to name drop my own friends. And so that was anyway,
I washed my couch yesterday, all of it. Took all
the covers off and I washed it. And I also
washed my balcony cushions as well.

So this was a really busy day of me just
switching laundry and then putting them back on. It's exciting
and that's really all I did. And then I mean
I did show prep and I just chilled. I feel
like I was on the phone a lot.

I don't know. People keep calling me and then like
talk about the week again. I'm like, it's a fun day. Yeah,
we are adults. Anyway, I was. It was a chill day.

I really just like cleaned a little bit because uh,
my apartment was clean, but it's like, you know, you
have people walking through, so I cleaned the floors and stuff.
It's it sounds really lame. I just resanitized my apartment
up to my standard Mary Poppins. Basically, I just was
like outdoor closed around my couch. I can't lay on
this comfortably every couch with Yeah, that's because you don't

know what you're doing.

Okay, I don't know how to sit down.

I didn't fluff my couch for you. Sorry, that thing
is rocks, bro I have to knock off cloud couch. Okay,

You're the only one that does not like my couch.

It is kind of a pain because it's kind of big,
and I'm like, I kind of wa wash. It got

because I can't buy a new couch.

I think a couple.

No, okay, I've had that couch with my old apartment.

I just did very adult things yesterday, Like it's open
enrollment season, so insurance stuff. I've gotta donate some things today.
So that's pretty much what I did yesterday. I felt
very grown up, but.

I did start. I finally got on ex Storm, so
I'm reading that book and it is good.

Speaker 2 (03:22):
So far, very exciting. Yes, here's how I thought my
day started today. I got up very exciting, got in
a shower, I was ready to go. It was like,
all right, we're doing this. We're ready to go doing TV.

Speaker 7 (03:33):
Later.

Speaker 2 (03:34):
Check my phone and the time show was three forty five.
I go, oh, no, this isn't good. I'm late. And
then all of a sudden Eric was in my house.
They said, hey, you're late. It's because you're coachhing hockey.
I go, this isn't right. I had a nightmare, but
I overslept by like an hour.

Speaker 1 (03:51):
Three is late for you, Yeah.

Speaker 2 (03:53):
Because IM up a two forty so like by three
forty five. Like my my mental schedule is I get
to the station by three thirty. I like four or fifteen.
I have everything printed out and start reading for stuff.
And then so I was like, I'm gonna my whole
days off, like how the hell the how to oversleep
by an hour? And then Eric and Hoodie in my house.
Get you ready? Like, dude, you're late. I'm like, I
know how this happened. Didn't even stop to ask why

the hell are they in my house? Yeah, and Eric's
like this why you shouldn't coach hockey.

Speaker 5 (04:17):
I was like, oh oh, oh my god.

Speaker 2 (04:19):
And that woke up like I actually got was like
eleven o'clock. Yeah, well, this is frendous. So then I
spent the next sleep cycles thinking I was oversleeping again.
That's why I probably checked my alarm four or five
times to'd be like, am I stress at my alarm?
That's like, that's my nightmaris oversleeping.

Oh I did oversleep today?

How much?

It was about twenty It was about twenty minutes.

Yeah, that's why it looks so freshed.

Well, I went to sleep at eight o'clock last night,
and so my phone, I think in my sleep, I
took it off the nightstand and so I was like
sleeping on top of my phone. Okay, So I went
off because my Alexa was going off. Sure, I mean
I woke up because of that.

Yeah, yes, Eric.

Do you think it's your it was a nightmare or
do you think it's your subconscious telling you to stop
coaching hockey like I've been telling you?

Speaker 2 (04:58):
Yeah, the last three years I controlled I trolled you
in our yea. I controlled you. Yeah, because how you
said something about breakups and I said, my experience the
best like over breakups coaching hockey. Thank god Eric forced
me to coach hockey because it is true. I'm only
coaching hockey for year and nine now because Eric basically
begged me.

You had gone through a breakup yet on the cusp
of you were a year before details.

and Oceans eleven back to back like yesterday.

Quite yes, Rose, maybe Eric is on something because you
do have a lot on your plate.

And you might need to, I don't know, take off
your plate.

Speaker 2 (05:51):
Well, late season starts, first game next Friday. Get fired
you and how busy Eric's life is? Eric watched Oceans
twelve and eleven in that order on tele vision yesterday.
Eric in a casual nine hours to watch a movie
on TV. Yes to watch movies on TV. It's am
in the wrong order, which is even more crazy. They
had it twelve and eleven. That makes no sense. I

was I don't know.

If I got home from the gym and it was on,
I turned it on and I did other things and
hours later, Yeah, then watch OSS ten.

I haven't watched normal television in like, it's not normal TV.

It's YouTube TV, so there's not as many commercials, but
you still can.

Speaker 2 (06:28):
The movie's probably on streaming somewhere. I own. I own
all three and actual DVDs. And so you were that
free of time yesterday. You could have watched on DVD if.

I had my dad weekend with Max and we had
an eventful weekend. Okay, sorry, stop coaching hockey.

Speaker 4 (06:45):
Goodness gracious, Maybe if you're so conscious saying you should
try something new, like I don't know what that could be.

I know you could pick up building Lego and me
and you could be Lego buddy.

Speaker 2 (06:57):
You guys know me. Well, if I stopped take in hockey,
I wouldn't just sit with that free time for the
next six months something it would sell to take the
much of time.

You should because you have no free time to yourself.
You should sit in your free time and do.

Nothing you don't have to fill on that doesn't know
how to do that.

Then you would find something it would take up more time.

So I do want to know that today in Virginia
is election day. So so governor, lieutenant governor, attorney general,
House of Delegates, and local offices are up for election
and polls are now open until seven pm, so get
out on both. The Trump administration totally federal dead yesterday
that it will use contingency funds to provide only half
of the normal SNAP food benefits for November during the

(10:17):
government shutdown. So the Agriculture Department said it will use
all four point sixty five billion dollars in the contingency fund,
which should cover about fifty percent of each households normal benefits.
Now about forty two million Americans rely on SNAP, receiving
an average of just over three hundred and fifty dollars
per month. Now, I will say Virginia and DZ both
said that they will fund SNAP while they can. And

now Maryland Governor Wes Moore is releasing sixty two million
dollars in state funds to ensure full November SNAP benefits
for Maryland or so.

eighty million dollars. So the university announced yesterday that she
made an unrestricted sixty three million dollar donation and then
another unrestricted donation of seventeen million dollars that will go
to Howard University College of Medicine. So Howard University officials

called the donation a historic investment that will go towards
essential student aid, infrastructure improvements, and the school's reserve fund.
This is not the first time that Mackenzie Scott has
donated to Howard. She gave a forty million dollar donation
back in twenty twenty.

it's gift wrapped, which is very nice, with a festive

snowman symbol in each of the a dozen drawers each side.
The drawer inside is a fast food inspired gift like
a mini candles, Coca Cola keychain, and more. Yeah, the
calendar goes for nineteen dollars fifty four cents. That's the
year they were founded. The value over one hundred dollars.

So the Agriculture Department said it will use all four
