Sarah tells us she had a good time with Jared, but ever since then she hasn’t heard from him and really isn’t sure why.

We call Jared trying to figure out if there is anything else between him and Sarah that happened that may have caused things to go wrong and he tells us that he wasn’t a fan of what Sarah did to get background information on him. Find out what’s really going on in this Second Date Update!

Speaker 1 (00:00):
Second date update on Internsjohn your morning show brought to
you by Strategic Love Play now playing the Signature Theater
in Arlington, VA. You're dating somebody, you think things are
going well. Then they stopped talking you. We tracked figure
on exactly what's going on? Sarah? Good morning? Hi? Going
through your email? So you and Jared matched on hinge?

(00:22):
About how long ago?

Speaker 2 (00:24):
I guess it was around a month ago?

Speaker 1 (00:26):
Okay? And what about Jared's profile? Mad made him stand out?
What drew you to him?

Speaker 2 (00:32):
He just kind of checked all the boxes, like he
didn't have real creeper vibes on his profile and wasn't
like holding a fish, you know, standing there does like
awful profile photos. He just looked really likable. And he's
a dog lover. You know, he's interested in a lot
of the same things I'm interested in.

Speaker 3 (00:50):
And he just looks like a nice guy. Important.

Speaker 1 (00:52):
And so how long from matching to see each other
in person the first time? What was that window?

Speaker 2 (00:59):
It was pretty quick. It was within the first week.

Speaker 1 (01:02):
We had a date, okay, and that was the dinner date.

Speaker 2 (01:05):
It looks like, yeah, we went to dinner. You know,
we had some drinks and we just had a really
nice conversation, and I thought it was going pretty well.

Speaker 1 (01:14):
I did the conversation transfer over from the app to
in person pretty easily, like it was a seamless transition.

Speaker 2 (01:21):
Yeah, we were like messaging right away and we were chatting.
I mean, you know, it was like intermittent because we
have opposite schedules, and I understand that he's like really
busy with his job, so I wasn't like too worried
if he didn't answer right away. But I mean, we
had a pretty consistent conversation going.

Speaker 1 (01:37):
Okay, and the flag that first comes up for me,
as you mentioned that between the first date and the
second date getting him to commit to the second date
was like pulling teeth. Can you go into what you
mean by that?

Speaker 2 (01:49):
Well, you know, we were having such great conversation and
I figured, like, why don't we take this offline and
actually meet in person? So that's kind of what I
said to him, and he was like, yeah, that sounds
really great. And he didn't give me any other answers.
He just like, so, do you want me to plan
the whole thing or do you have any suggestions of
when we should meet? So it was just kind of
slow from the start, like, the conversation seemed to roll

(02:12):
up until I asked him me in person, and then
he seemed to kind of take a step back.

Speaker 1 (02:15):
Sure. Wait, so for the two dates you guys went on,
did you plan them or did he plan them?

Speaker 2 (02:20):
I mean I kind of planned everything.

Speaker 1 (02:23):
Okay, that's that changed that. Did you pay for the
dates or he paid for them?

Speaker 4 (02:29):
No?

Speaker 2 (02:29):
I mean he paid for dinner and everything was, you know,
really great from there.

Speaker 1 (02:34):
And so here we are. You have her phone a
week and a half, you've reached out, no calls, no text, nothing,
and you want to know where his head's That is
that fair?

Speaker 4 (02:44):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (02:44):
I mean I just I thought that both dates ended
pretty well. It seemed like he might be interested in
seeing me again. So I just don't know what happened.

Speaker 1 (02:52):
Have we kissed on the lips?

Speaker 3 (02:54):
Good question.

Speaker 2 (02:57):
He did attempt to give me a kiss after the
second date, and I just the vibes were kind of
off at the end of the night, so I didn't
really happened.

Speaker 1 (03:08):
Do you think maybe that's why he if he rejected
his romantic advance in the form of the keys, Do
you like that makes me want to jump off the bridge.

Speaker 3 (03:17):
And the water stop that. Do not say that.

Speaker 2 (03:20):
I could see why you might think that, but you know,
I just I kind of let him know, like, Hey,
you know, I really like you. I just want to
give this more time before we make it physical. I
feel like I was pretty.

Speaker 1 (03:33):
Honest, calm and try to get his side of the
storks and I am curious.

Speaker 3 (03:39):
I just duck under.

Speaker 1 (03:51):
I conferd Jared please and man, it's the interns ghohn.
I got Sauce Rose here as well. If we talked
to him the real quick about something. I seemed like
thirty seconds of your time. Nothing bad, Okay, sure I
got something in their line, Sarah, if you want to
say hello, Hi, Jared nailed and so Jared Sarah reached

(04:14):
out to us, told us, you guys a match okay
on a hinge about a month or so ago, had
two dates, but the last week and a half or
so she hasn't heard from you. So we're checking in.
See where you're at, buddy?

Speaker 5 (04:28):
Where am I at?

Speaker 1 (04:30):
Yes? Like, do you see a future? Do you want
to see each other again?

Speaker 3 (04:33):
Not like physically? Where are you?

Speaker 1 (04:34):
Yeah? Why haven't we.

Speaker 4 (04:37):
No?

Speaker 5 (04:37):
I yeah, I'm a little this is a little unnerving. Sorry, Yeah,
So yeah, I did, Sarah, and I did go on
a couple of dates.

Speaker 1 (04:47):
Yes, we know that. Yep. Well why why do you disappeared?

Speaker 5 (04:52):
Well, I think the biggie for me is I found
out from my sister that uh Sarah had contact her
through Instagram and started asking a bunch of questions about me.

Speaker 3 (05:07):
Oh my god, which, yeah, ma'am, that's.

Speaker 5 (05:12):
A little prep And you know, I love my sister.

Speaker 4 (05:15):
I want to.

Speaker 1 (05:15):
Drag her into like a web.

Speaker 5 (05:18):
Of you know, I prefer to keep her out of there.

Speaker 1 (05:23):
Yes, Sarah, did you reach out to.

Speaker 2 (05:28):
I mean, come, like, light up? It wasn't like stalker vibes,
Like you gave off a really weird vibe.

Speaker 3 (05:34):
At the end of our second date, and yeah.

Speaker 2 (05:36):
I happened to know someone who knows your sister, so
I did a little digging around to try and see
if you were worth even trying.

Speaker 1 (05:43):
But yeah, that weird vibe.

Speaker 5 (05:45):
That weird vibe was because I feel like I'm being stalked.

Speaker 1 (05:49):
Yeah, I guess, like, like, so you when you reached
out to his sister, did you say, hey, I've gone
on two days with your brother. Is he a good guy?

Speaker 5 (05:59):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (06:00):
I just kind of wanted to see, like if he had.
I don't know, maybe he had just got out of
a serious relationship and he wasn't ready or like his
tie on the water a little.

Speaker 3 (06:09):
Too soon, Like I just I don't know.

Speaker 4 (06:12):
I mean, I think a.

Speaker 1 (06:13):
Little soft about the Jared Sarah for Devil's Advocate. If
Jared reached out to like your brother, like, hey, bro,
I'm going on dates their sister, would you not be
a little bit like that's weird?

Speaker 5 (06:28):
I don't know.

Speaker 2 (06:29):
I think maybe if he didn't know him at all. Yeah,
but like I know somebody who knows his sister, So
I also, how do you?

Speaker 1 (06:38):
How do you know somebody who knows his sister?

Speaker 3 (06:40):
Also conversation.

Speaker 1 (06:42):
Yes, I.

Speaker 2 (06:45):
Looked him up on social media. On social media, I
saw that we had mutual friends.

Speaker 1 (06:53):
Okay, I'm gonna put you guys in hold. Are you
team Sarah? Team Jared? Eight seven seven, nine ninety five
or six state one to call nine ninety three three
eight to text? Second date update on intern John your
Morning show? Second date update on intern John in your
Morning Show. We have talked to Sarah and Jared. They
mashed on Hinge about two months ago, had a couple
of dates. She had said she hadn't her from him.

(07:15):
In a couple of weeks after Dave and Buster's date,
he tells us that apparently she reached out to his
sister to get some information on and guess do it
kind of like a check up? If you will your
thoughts eight seven seven, nine ninety five four six st
eight one to call, nine ninety three three eight to text, well,
I get shinhold sauce, what do you think of him?

Speaker 6 (07:32):
It seems like she's just really trying to force him
to like her, because even before the second date, or
even just the dates in general, didn't seem like he
was like that interested. Sure, just kind of went along
with it, it sounded like and then she's now like,
oh what other things? I do finds the sister And
I don't think that she knew that they had mutual
friends until she found her on social media.

Speaker 1 (07:52):
I think that's fair, so.

Speaker 3 (07:53):
Because how would that have even come up?

Speaker 1 (07:55):
You know?

Speaker 3 (07:55):
So, I don't know. I am team Jared.

Speaker 6 (07:58):
I do think it's weird, and honestly, I don't think
Jared was into Sarah.

Speaker 1 (08:02):
No and as a dude before.

Speaker 6 (08:04):
Before she contacted the sister, which is that is crossing
so many lines if someone did that to if someone
did that to my sibling, I would be furious.

Speaker 1 (08:12):
Well, I was gonna say, I don't have sisters. I
have YouTube obviously, so if I'm fairly private when it
comes to dating stuff. So if I've done two dates
to somebody and I found that they reached out to
one of you two to like, I would assume, as
it cans, you're trying to pressure have like one of
YouTube pressure me to be like, we found this nice
girl reached out to you. You know what I mean.
I also don't think you two would get that DM
as my sisters be like, oh this is great, probably

(08:34):
like why the hell you reaching out to I think
that raised more flags. I'm sure his sister's flags are raised,
like absolutely, that's not odd. I don't know.

Speaker 6 (08:42):
I would be annoyed because I'm like, your relationship has
nothing to do with me. Like if somebody reached out
to me after they went on date with my brother Colby,
I would be so annoyed. I'd be like, Okay, so
clearly you're a little You're not like you're I don't
know what you're looking for, but this is not healthy
and don't talk to me.

Speaker 1 (08:57):
Let me go on Bristow Tanya, good morning, Hey, good morning.
What do you want to say?

Speaker 4 (09:04):
Well, I'm I agree with sauce. I believe that the
sauce is talking and good morning everybody.

Speaker 2 (09:10):
I'm on an interviews me.

Speaker 4 (09:13):
Look, I'm changing careers, so I'm on my way there now.
I have to be at by nine thirty in Annapolis.

Speaker 1 (09:20):
But yes, I think she's a little insecure.

Speaker 4 (09:26):
I feel like, you know, she was trying really hard
to see what she can find in common with him
and then found that they had friends in common and
thought that that was the right way to go when
an actuality backfired on hers. Yeah, so you know, you know,
and that's unfortunate. I think that, you know, she may
have liked him, like you said, a little bit more
than he liked her, and he was more of a

(09:48):
casual dating and she was looking more for a relationship.
And but I mean, seeing that makes me feel like,
you know, she's put you know, forcing the relationship, and
that she's nervous about keeping a relationship. So I don't know,
she's worried about those those feelings at the beginning, like
you know, is you gonna like me?

Speaker 1 (10:08):
You know? And then she went off for his sake. Tanya,
best of luck today. Keep us posting her eye. I'll
text you guys later. Rose, you have like thirty brothers.
If one of their girls reached out to you, would
you find that odd?

Speaker 2 (10:25):
I would find that as a red flag immediately if
I did not know that person, even if we had
mutual friends.

Speaker 3 (10:31):
Do not come and contact me, because I'm going to
be like, this is weird.

Speaker 1 (10:34):
I don't like it.

Speaker 2 (10:35):
That's that you're digging for information about my brother from me.

Speaker 1 (10:39):
You don't know me.

Speaker 3 (10:40):
Why would I give you any information.

Speaker 1 (10:42):
I don't know who you are.

Speaker 6 (10:43):
If it was someone I knew, I could be like,
oh yeah, like that, that would be better, easier to understand.

Speaker 2 (10:51):
I don't understand why she went straight to the sister
and not the mutual friends.

Speaker 3 (10:55):
That didn't make sense to me.

Speaker 1 (10:56):
The whole thing doesn't really make the whole thing is
let me go in Winchester, Melissa, good morning, Good morning.
What do you want to say with second day up date?

Speaker 6 (11:09):
I am definitely team Jared all the way she weirdly
stalks him, She contacts the sister, and then she contacts
the radio station before even asking him.

Speaker 1 (11:17):
Your point, it's a valid point. I think that we're involved. Yeah,
Tavin Ron just hit us. She does. Melissa, thank you
for listening. To have a great day, you too, Mommy,
my man. Let's go in the district. Zara, good morning,
Good morning.

Speaker 2 (11:35):
How are you guys doing well?

Speaker 1 (11:36):
Second day up date? What do you want to say?

Speaker 5 (11:39):
I am team Sarah.

Speaker 2 (11:40):
Where it comes to the stalking, I'm sorry. Only here
is where it comes down to it.

Speaker 1 (11:46):
I've got girlfriends that are single. We have one friend
that we call the SBI. When they go on their gates,
their location is on. We know who they look like.

Speaker 6 (11:53):
You don't know if they're married.

Speaker 1 (11:54):
You don't know if they have a second life. You
don't know anything like that.

Speaker 2 (11:57):
You want to make sure all of these things before
you go on a height.

Speaker 3 (12:00):
If he really.

Speaker 5 (12:01):
Wasn't into her like that, he should have taken it.

Speaker 1 (12:03):
Off the app. It's simple, that's fair.

Speaker 3 (12:05):
They should have they should.

Speaker 5 (12:06):
Have left it on the app.

Speaker 2 (12:07):
As far as like reaching out to the sister, I.

Speaker 1 (12:09):
Have a brother. Can't say that word. You much have
a poop show. They can be oop show.

Speaker 3 (12:16):
I apologize.

Speaker 1 (12:17):
It's good girl.

Speaker 2 (12:18):
So I would be like, I'd be like, listen, either one,
you're wasting your time or two. They can be like this,
this or this.

Speaker 1 (12:25):
You make up your mind, Sir, I disagree, Zara, thank
you for listening, thank you for testing our dumb buttons. Apologize,
that's all. That's all good. Do you want to do
a secondary I have Dave DM's rope and at YMS Radio,
let's do the.

Speaker 2 (12:40):

Cardiac Cowboys

Cardiac Cowboys

The heart was always off-limits to surgeons. Cutting into it spelled instant death for the patient. That is, until a ragtag group of doctors scattered across the Midwest and Texas decided to throw out the rule book. Working in makeshift laboratories and home garages, using medical devices made from scavenged machine parts and beer tubes, these men and women invented the field of open heart surgery. Odds are, someone you know is alive because of them. So why has history left them behind? Presented by Chris Pine, CARDIAC COWBOYS tells the gripping true story behind the birth of heart surgery, and the young, Greatest Generation doctors who made it happen. For years, they competed and feuded, racing to be the first, the best, and the most prolific. Some appeared on the cover of Time Magazine, operated on kings and advised presidents. Others ended up disgraced, penniless, and convicted of felonies. Together, they ignited a revolution in medicine, and changed the world.
