Kendall and Bryce have been in an on-again, off-again relationship for the past three years after first matching on Tinder. Kendall tells us that Bryce moved for a job two years ago, but he recently moved back to the area and they picked things back up again. Kendall tells us while they both live on their own, she does have a key to Bryce’s place and spends most of her time there. Kendall says things have been great this time around, but she has noticed that that last time she hung out with Bryce’s friends that it felt like he introduced her as a friend more than his girlfriend. Kendall doesn’t want to assume the worst, but she asks for our help to see if she should invest in Bryce this time or completely call things off.

We call Bryce pretending to send him a free bouquet of flowers and when we ask Bryce who he wants to send the flowers to, Bryce ask if we can send them to his girlfriend Kat. Find out what’s really going on in this week’s War Of The Roses!

Speaker 1 (00:05):
Swore are the rosies on interns John in your morning show.
You think the person you're with is stepping out, you
think something doesn't quite add up. We try to figure
out exactly what is going on. Kendall, good morning, Hi,
how are you. I'm doing well. I need you to
explain the timeline your Bryce, because you guys, has been

(00:25):
off and on.

Speaker 2 (00:27):
It's been on and off for a while now, like
some years now. We met, you know, online some years ago.
It's been more on than off. But definitely he moved
away for a job at a certain point, which we
were off because of that the distance. But you know,
for like the last year and a half we've been
back on. Okay, thing has been going pretty good. Sure,

(00:50):
you know, pretty good, and.

Speaker 1 (00:51):
I mean to cut you off, but just so we
have the actual timeline. So three years ago we matched
on tender.

Speaker 2 (00:56):
Yep, you to go be matched on tender on and
off for about a year and a half.

Speaker 1 (01:01):
Yeah, and then so he was gone for a year.
Now back right, okay, and here we are. We rekindled
things we've been on. So we've been more on and
off the last.

Speaker 2 (01:09):
Three or so years, absolutely absolutely, and.

Speaker 1 (01:12):
We're doing more of the Roses. You guys don't live
with each other.

Speaker 2 (01:16):
We don't, but we spent a lot of time. I'm
over there like all the time. You know what I mean,
I have a key, but you know what I mean,
not officially, I do have a key, got you lea,
I haven't officially made the move yet.

Speaker 3 (01:29):
Don't you do? You do you lease uf there?

Speaker 2 (01:32):
Oh yeah, definitely have a glut. I have a drawer
to closet space. Need more closet space.

Speaker 1 (01:39):
So here we are to more of the roses explain
what's going on with his colleagues at work.

Speaker 2 (01:44):
All right, So you know they're a little weird. Well
it's a real bro type of space, you know what
I mean. There's a lot of the bros. And so
you know, a lot of them aren't married. A few
of them are, and so they don't hang out as
much anymore obviously, but you know he's still you know,
not married technically, so you know, they just do a

(02:04):
lot of like goofy things. So anyway, we were out,
you know, like last weekend, they were all going out
to this bar for some event and stuff like that,
and he asked me to go with him or whatever.
But when I got there, it was like I was
introduced to, like, you know, a friend, and I was like,
what what you know? I was like, so I couldn't

(02:27):
even believe it at this point, you know what I mean,
Like yeah, like you know, like a you know, a
really good friend, but not even overly like oh this
is my lady friend or you know, you know, okay, yeah,
or just my girlfriend just say that, you know, I mean, oh,
this is my friend, you know that? And I was,

(02:48):
you know, and he was in his and they were
taking a couple of shots and having fun. So you know,
you're not gonna you don't want to be that person,
you know what I mean and create a scene at
the you know, and I haven't at them all, so
you know, I was trying to be cool, but I'm
like so weirded out by that? And what does that mean?
You know what I mean? Readed like what's going on?

(03:10):
So I'm like, is he cheating? Is some is there
someone else? Like when did we go down?

Speaker 4 (03:15):
Yeah?

Speaker 3 (03:15):
Yeah, okay my friend and yeah.

Speaker 1 (03:17):
So let's say this kind of love sauce call from
the flower shop, off from the roses.

Speaker 3 (03:21):
Clearly this should go to you.

Speaker 1 (03:22):
If they do, we'll hang up whatever if they are
somebody else, We'll see what's going on.

Speaker 2 (03:27):
Okay, please, let's see what's happening. And I'm hoping that,
you know, I was. It was just a fluke because
they're not in his friends, his closters aren't in relationships.
But you know, let's.

Speaker 1 (03:42):
Warren Roses an intern and Morner show swore the Roses
interns geon in your morning show, Kenda.

Speaker 3 (03:48):
Let me recap this.

Speaker 1 (03:49):
You and Bryce first match about three years ago on
a dating app uh dave for about a year. He
moved away for a year, even back on for about
a year and a half. The reason and Roses you
don't live with each other. He invited you to a
work vent event and introduce you to his work friends
as just another friend, not as a girlfriend. You mentioned

(04:11):
to us off the air that he is off and
on his phone late at night doing work stuff with
some of the people that were there, the females.

Speaker 3 (04:18):
That's correct.

Speaker 2 (04:19):
Oh yeah, they always had like these projects or these deadlines,
so they're burning the midnight oil. He's given a frat house,
you know.

Speaker 3 (04:28):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (04:29):
Yeah, So I'm like he's not really working, you know that,
I don't know, and it's it's feeling creepy. It's feeling weird.
Something else is going on.

Speaker 1 (04:38):
I want to ask because you mentioned you don't live
with each other, but you have a key. Since you
guys known each other for over three years and been
kind of off and on, has there been talk of
taking things to the next level, whether that is moving
in or an engagement.

Speaker 2 (04:53):
Yeah, of course, we definitely have been talking about moving in.
And you know, both of us have smaller places as individuals,
so you know, it's been talks of like starting to
look for a bigger place, you know, to accommodate all
of us. So that's why when he could introduced me
as a friend, that's like steps in the opposite direction
of us moving in togetrect.

Speaker 1 (05:14):
Yeah, And one last question on that, what's the window
when that would happen?

Speaker 3 (05:18):
Like whose lease is up first?

Speaker 1 (05:20):
Like, what's the earliest potentially You guys talked about moving in, So.

Speaker 2 (05:24):
The earliest potentially would probably be in about seven months,
because I have like six months left on my lease
I had I would just go and kind of stay there,
put some things in storage, and then he has maybe
four months after his so because he had just resigned.

Speaker 1 (05:39):
So gotcha, it makes sense So let's say this sauscle
call from the free boka a dozen red roses. Obviously
they should go to you. If they do, we'll put
on hold. So what do you want to do? If
they get somebody else, we'll get some answers. Oh, I
got a number correct, right here we go. Yeah.

Speaker 3 (05:58):
Also is out of the coworkers were like, oh, it
must be your girlfriend.

Speaker 4 (06:01):
Yeah, there's like okay, Hello, hi sus Bryce.

Speaker 3 (06:15):
Uh, yeah, this is hi Brace.

Speaker 5 (06:17):
My name is Charlotte, and I'm calling you from a
new local flower shop. We're called YMS Flowers, and we're
trying out some new marketing where we're offering a free
bouquet of roses to people just in hopes that you
come back to us for future occasions. Is that something
that you'd be interested in?

Speaker 3 (06:33):
I don't. I don't need anything.

Speaker 6 (06:35):
I'm good thanks to you.

Speaker 5 (06:36):
Don't have anyone your life that just like wants flowers.
We're just we're just new in the area and we
need more foot traffic just to make my mom's the
dream come true kind of thing. And I mean they
are gorgeous, they are red roses. You can make someone's day.
They're free, they're totally free. We don't need any credit
card info, and you can send them anywhere in the country.

(06:57):
Do you think that you'd want to send them to someone?
It could be like a win win hell yeah, okay, cool?
All right, great, all right, I see like the name
of who you're sending them to.

Speaker 3 (07:10):
Uh, all right, send them to cat?

Speaker 5 (07:13):
Is that with a C? Your k?

Speaker 3 (07:17):
Okay?

Speaker 5 (07:17):
Cool? And then what is she to you? We're just
keeping everything on file in case you do come back.
So like girlfriend, wife, fiance, other friends.

Speaker 6 (07:28):
I mean, she's she's a lot to me, she's she's
she's my handful.

Speaker 5 (07:34):
You're okay, I'll put other hand full. Uh. And then
what do you want the car to say? It's just
like your typical small card that goes with flowers.

Speaker 6 (07:45):
Uh, tell her that I'm sending her these even though
she should be sending me flowers because of last night.

Speaker 5 (07:53):
I'm sending you these even though.

Speaker 6 (07:57):
Even though, yeah, tell her you should be sending me these.
You should be sending me flowers because of last night.

Speaker 5 (08:06):
Okay, what happened last night? Okay, I want to tell me.

Speaker 6 (08:11):
I know, so I actually, uh, last night I asked
her to be my girlfriend.

Speaker 5 (08:15):
Oh that's cute. I love that?

Speaker 3 (08:17):
Really?

Speaker 2 (08:18):
Oh really, Bryce? Really, are you serious right now? I
cannot believe you. I cannot believe you.

Speaker 1 (08:28):
I knew something was yeah, Bryce, my name is intern John.

Speaker 3 (08:32):
I got sauce here. We're doing War of the Roses
on the show.

Speaker 2 (08:36):
God, I knew it. I knew it. I knew it.
I knew it. So as your friend because you got
a new girlfriend? Is that what we're doing? Bryce? Seriously,
such a liar.

Speaker 1 (08:53):
On Kendall kind of filled this in on the work stuff.
But to that point though, why would you bother bring
Kendall to a work function if you're playing asking somebody
else out to date?

Speaker 2 (09:05):
No, I didn't.

Speaker 6 (09:07):
I didn't ask anyone else out. This is your I
feel like you guys never think twisted here.

Speaker 3 (09:11):
No, no, no, it was you said you said photo? Do
you think a photo?

Speaker 1 (09:18):
Because last night you who's your little handful? Yeah, you
asked her to be your girlfriend? So how are we
getting things twisted?

Speaker 2 (09:27):
You're because it's you're you're a liar. You're a liar.

Speaker 3 (09:31):
You need to wait.

Speaker 1 (09:33):
Wait it's first of all, no, no, okay, so Brice,
we'll give you thirty seconds to explain uninterrupted.

Speaker 3 (09:39):
It's it's a what thing.

Speaker 6 (09:42):
It's a it's a work thing. It's just kind of
it's a thing we all do. We like, you know,
your work buddy. Sometimes you're like, oh, that's our work girlfriend.

Speaker 3 (09:49):
Even even the guys do it.

Speaker 6 (09:50):
It's like, oh, it's my work boyfriend. It's not even
as everyone just kind of jokes around that way. It's
like a it's an initiation for all the newer coworkers.

Speaker 3 (09:58):
This sounds like an HR night there.

Speaker 2 (10:00):
You're seeing lying sack of Yeah, you know, this isn't
any work things. You're totally you've been stepping out and
dating some other chick name cat. What a lame name
to honestly, but what Oh my god, So you're not
dating anyone else.

Speaker 6 (10:20):

Speaker 3 (10:23):

Speaker 1 (10:24):
So what you're saying, Brce, is your point is a
new employee started at your work and you guys have
a policy of your employees to be your girlfriends.

Speaker 3 (10:33):
