Speaker 1 (00:00):
Second date update on internshoon in your morning show, how
somebody could be once, could be a couple of times
then they stop talking to you. We try to see
exactly what's going on, because there is nothing worse than
not knowing and just wondering was it you?

Speaker 2 (00:13):
Was it them? Was it something else? Let's go ragehow
good morning?

Speaker 3 (00:17):
Good morning?

Speaker 4 (00:19):
Hi?

Speaker 1 (00:19):
Yeah, so let's get in this. You and Wesley first
matched where.

Speaker 3 (00:24):
We matched on bumble online?

Speaker 2 (00:27):
Okay, and yeah, how long ago was that?

Speaker 3 (00:31):
We matched? In early October? So it's only it's been
like a month, you.

Speaker 2 (00:36):
Know, it was a really good month.

Speaker 1 (00:39):
Just gonna say, if let me ask what about Wesley
made him stand out in the app? Whether it's your
thousands of dudes trying to get your attention, Why did
he catch your eye?

Speaker 3 (00:47):
You know, like you can just tell. I think when
you and someone smile and in someone's like eyes, and
if they take time to actually write things on their profile,
those are the things I'm looking for when I'm looking
on ops, like the guys that just write like, you know,
what's your favorite thing? Everything? It's like the past, you know,

(01:11):
so I don't know, there was something that caught me
and then I think a lot of it too. Is
like in the actual conversation, he was engaging, you know,
before you meet or whatever.

Speaker 5 (01:21):
He was engaging.

Speaker 3 (01:21):
He was asking me questions, he threw in some jokes
here and there. I could tell me how a sense
of humor, but he also sounded normal. And then we
started talking, you know, we moved off of bubble and
started talking, and we went out for a date very quickly.

Speaker 4 (01:38):
It was like not.

Speaker 3 (01:39):
Wasting any time. And since then we've had some really fun,
amazing dates. I mean, I realized it's only been about
a month, but we've done a lot. I mean, you know,
nothing crazy serious, but we I feel like I've gotten
to know him so well in the last month, and
we definitely there's chemistry there.

Speaker 2 (01:59):
And cut you off.

Speaker 1 (02:01):
But in the last month, it sounds like you guys
basically are going on dates every week, right, consistent?

Speaker 3 (02:06):
Absolutely, absolutely, and sometimes it was like a couple in
a week. We would do one during the week and
then at least one on the weekend.

Speaker 1 (02:13):
Okay, and so they walk me through the last time
you guys hang out, you bring up Thanksgiving.

Speaker 3 (02:18):
Right, Yeah, yeah, that's why I mentioned to you that
I'm I don't know so he was saying that he
doesn't have family in town, doesn't any family here, and
I didn't.

Speaker 5 (02:27):
Really know what he was going to do for Thanksgiving, didn't.

Speaker 3 (02:29):
Really have any plans, and so I casually told him that,
you know, you need more than welcome to hang out
with my family, because you know, our family does it
a little bit different. It's not like a formal sit
down dinner where it's like just family. We invite our
close friends and it's.

Speaker 2 (02:46):
More like a party.

Speaker 3 (02:49):
Yeah, okay, it's literally nothing formal.

Speaker 6 (02:52):
So I thought, you know, why.

Speaker 3 (02:53):
Didn't I invite him? And since that I have not
heard anything.

Speaker 2 (02:57):
Okay, I don't know.

Speaker 3 (02:58):
I don't know about I don't know.

Speaker 5 (03:00):
I know it's weird.

Speaker 2 (03:01):
It's been living over a week.

Speaker 1 (03:03):
He said, correct, Yeah, did he bring up heaven nowhere
to go for Thanksgiving?

Speaker 3 (03:10):
He did?

Speaker 7 (03:11):
Okay, so he had nothing yet I would probably have
done the same thing.

Speaker 2 (03:16):
It's interesting that he would.

Speaker 1 (03:17):
He would induce the idea, almost like he was fishing
for the invite.

Speaker 3 (03:21):
Yeah. I was trying to be nice and do the
right thing, and if that wasn't right for him, then
he could just say no, or like maybe he's going
to go to a friends or something like. I have
no idea, but all I can think is that I
haven't heard from him since then.

Speaker 1 (03:37):
I don't just okay, let's do this. Let's call him
and try to get manget his side. Okay, because I'm
I'm curious too.

Speaker 5 (03:45):
Thank you.

Speaker 3 (03:46):
I hope we can get some answer.

Speaker 2 (03:48):
Yeah, no, it's just again, it's just odd that he would.

Speaker 3 (03:50):
Yeah, a terrible feeling.

Speaker 2 (04:00):
Hello, Hi, calling for Wesley. Please.

Speaker 1 (04:04):
Uh this is and Man, it's intern John. I got
Sauce and Rose here as well. Can we talked to
you on the show real quick about something nothing better,
seeing like thirty seconds of your time?

Speaker 8 (04:12):
Oh yeah, hey no, I like.

Speaker 1 (04:15):
Yeah, I dig the show all right, So I got
some other line here, Rachel, if you want to say.

Speaker 2 (04:19):
Hello, Hey, hey, we.

Speaker 1 (04:24):
So uh uh, Wesley. Rachel reached out to us. She
told us, you guys matched on Bumble. You guys have
been dating or going on dates roughly for a month
that she basically hadn't heard from you since Thanksgiving talk
came up. We're just trying to see where your mind's at,
if that's on brand or you've a different take.

Speaker 8 (04:43):
Yeah, uh yeah, no, we've we've had a we had
a really good month. So October was probably the best
October I've ever had. Yeah, but I don't know, I
was a little I had some reservations about getting invited
to this family function, you know, Thanksgiving dinner.

Speaker 4 (05:00):
Okay, right, like what I just feel like it's it
was well, first of all, it was just a little
too soon, I think to be meeting family everybody in
the family.

Speaker 1 (05:11):
Sure, let me ask you this, because it sounds like
you're the one that pried up from what we were told.
So wouldn't it been more odd if she was like, oh, yeah,
that sucks for you can be by yourself on the
holiday and just kept rolling.

Speaker 2 (05:22):
Hate to see you be alone.

Speaker 8 (05:25):
You know, I don't specifically remember that, but I mean,
I'm not saying she's lying, but I don't know. It
just it feels like we haven't not to air out
our you know, there's to extracurricular activities, but we've only
we've only had like we've only kissed each other.

Speaker 2 (05:40):
You know, It's.

Speaker 1 (05:41):
Okay, okay in your mind then like you you guys
are still like early dating process, So going to like
the Thanksgiving it's like a big like like sure, I mean,
how would you introduce me even.

Speaker 8 (05:55):
Listen.

Speaker 2 (05:55):
It was sweet that she invited me.

Speaker 8 (05:57):
Yea sweet, but I got a little weirded out and
like some of her parents' friends. One of her parents'
friends asked me about my criminal record. We don't have one,
but I thought that was a little weird hands.

Speaker 2 (06:09):
Well, yeah, how they ask you? How did they find you?

Speaker 8 (06:12):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (06:13):
Do they like ask you?

Speaker 5 (06:15):
Yeah?

Speaker 8 (06:15):
Yeah, you're Rachel's boyfriend, right, and I'm like, well, yeah,
we've been dating.

Speaker 2 (06:18):
And okay, well that's what do you do for work? Okay?
You guys on a hold The eight team, Rachel Our Team.

Speaker 1 (06:26):
Wesley eight seven seven, nine ninety five four six State

second date update on Intern, Johnny Morning Show, Second date
update on Intern john in your Morning Show. We have
talked to Rachel and Wesley. They matched on Bumble about
a month ago, been going on dates basically every week.
I guess she said she was feeling the vibe. He
had mentioned he is nowhere to go for Thanksgiving. She

(06:46):
invited him to her family's party, and I guess she
made it seem like maybe Thanksgiving isn't the top tier
holiday for her family. It's more like gets together and
drinks and have fun.

Speaker 3 (06:57):
Uh.

Speaker 1 (06:57):
He said that kind of weird him out a little bit.
Whose side you on eight seven seven, nine ninety five
four six state one to call nine ninety three three
eight texts will get you and hold sauce your thoughts.

Speaker 7 (07:08):
I'm team Rachel.

Speaker 2 (07:09):
I get it.

Speaker 7 (07:10):
Maybe it was soon, but you brought it up. I
would have said that to someone I barely knew too.
If I just had like a party or something like
like my parents' friends they throw a party and everything
that we go to, but I would invite them, especially
if I've been seeing them consistently for a month, I'd
just be like, oh, just to throw it out there.

(07:31):
I mean, maybe he thought that she just liked him
a bit more than he liked her, so he just
decided to cut it off, which like sucks. He's then
decline the invitation, But I think he could have just
said no instead of just not telling her why.

Speaker 1 (07:46):
Well, as somebody who has no Thanksgiving to go to
because I have no family here. It is a very
nice thing people offer, but you can just say, hey,
I appreciate the offer, but I'd rather yeah, I ney
alone time or something like that like, that's a very
easy thing.

Speaker 2 (07:58):
Yeah, let me go.

Speaker 1 (08:00):
Uh and now passo on the free radio app Hannah,
good morning, what'd you want to say with second date update?

Speaker 9 (08:08):
So I feel like.

Speaker 5 (08:10):
We need some more information because he's telling us that
the parent's friend was asking about our criminal record. So
now I'm like, wait a minute, has he already met
the parents? How does he know this parent's friends. Do
they already have a relationship, what is there a history
that we don't know?

Speaker 2 (08:26):
Can just be honest the smell test. I think he
might be lying.

Speaker 1 (08:30):
I don't know if he's just trying to say that
because he didn't say who the friend was either, like
he's like, oh, your dad's coworker. I don't know if
he's like if that's like his I don't know. I
don't disagree, Hannah. It was an odd We should have asked.

Speaker 5 (08:42):
Him to be like I don't want to meet them
because the friends are weird, And I'm like, wait, you've
already met them? Yeah?

Speaker 2 (08:49):
I disagree, Hannah, thank you for listening. You have a
great day.

Speaker 9 (08:52):
Thank you.

Speaker 1 (08:54):
Also, I guess if I didn't have a criminal record,
I don't think i'd be offended if somebody asked if
I had one before before they invite me to their house.

Speaker 2 (09:00):
Okay, Rose, your thoughts with this?

Speaker 10 (09:03):
I did think that part was weird because I was like,
did she already tell her parents that she invited this
guy and then they told the friend because there's so
many like missing steps to get to the parent's friend
asking yeah. And I was like, if you if I
had invited someone to my Thanksgiving dinner and they didn't
give me like a yes or no, I wouldn't tell
my parents like.

Speaker 9 (09:23):
Hey, this person's coming. Like that just doesn't make sense
to me. I think it does sound like he was
fishing for an invite. Do you know that I have
no plans? Why would you bring that up if you
weren't looking for something?

Speaker 1 (09:35):
Yeah, especially this far in advance too, would you go
in at Perry Hall tea good morning?

Speaker 5 (09:41):
Good morning?

Speaker 2 (09:41):
What do you want to say with second date out day?

Speaker 3 (09:43):
Girl? Rachel?

Speaker 6 (09:45):
I just feel like he could have politely declined. I
mean he said it was the best October he's ever had, Like,
so he throws away potentially like a great relationship that
gave you that Yeah, you know, because somebody was being
kind and for I mean, anybody would do that. My
family's Thanksgiving is very similar to the ones she described,
and like I could bring all of you, like like

(10:08):
it's like the more the merrier, it's not a big deal.

Speaker 1 (10:10):
Yeah, that's the best way to do it. Yeah, Tia,
thank you for listening. I have a great day. Thank
you you too, Bye, especially with how bad the dating
apps are. Yeah, so you finally found to t this point,
you find like you have a good month and you go, nah.

Speaker 7 (10:22):
Maybe he met someone else and he's going to their Thanksgiving.

Speaker 2 (10:25):
Could be uh.

Speaker 1 (10:26):
