After a week of talking they went on their first date hiking and even went on a second dinner date last weekend. Max thought things were going in the right direction because he even brought Kristen over to his place, but ever since their dinner he hasn’t heard from Kristen and he isn’t sure why.

We call Kristen trying to figure out if there is anything else between her and Max that happened that may have caused things to go wrong and she tells us that she wasn’t a fan of Max’s roommates. Find out what’s really going on in this Second Date Update!

Speaker 1 (00:00):
Second date update on intern John your morning shamp our
service to you, because the dating world online is horrendous.
So when you find somebody who kind of rises above,
so to speak, there's no worse feeling that when they disappear,
when they stop talking to you. We try to see
what's going on. Max, Good morning, Good morning. So walk

(00:21):
us through this. You and Kristen matched on Tinder? How
long ago?

Speaker 2 (00:26):
About two three weeks ago?

Speaker 3 (00:28):
Okay? And what about Kristen's profile made her stand out
to you? It looked like she was fun.

Speaker 2 (00:34):
Was like she, you know, go out and have a
good time, and that's something that I'm looking for right now,
and just you know, some companionship.

Speaker 1 (00:40):
Okay, but just so I understand looking for a good time.
But we're still looking for a relationship though, right oksolutely
because that was my first flight of ben If you're
looking for a good time and she's looking for a relationship,
probably doesn't match up. But that's okay, all right. So
we talk off the app for a week. We've been
on two dates. First date we did what?

Speaker 2 (01:00):
First day? We went to dinner?

Speaker 3 (01:02):
Okay? How was that? It was good?

Speaker 4 (01:05):
I thought we had a good time.

Speaker 2 (01:07):
She seemed like she was having a good time also.

Speaker 3 (01:09):
So sure did you pick her up? Did she meet
you there? Who paid?

Speaker 2 (01:14):
I picked her up and then I paid for dinner.

Speaker 3 (01:17):
Very nice? Okay? And second day we did what?

Speaker 2 (01:21):
Second day we just hung out, watched some movies.

Speaker 3 (01:23):
Okay. Did she go to your place? You go to
her place?

Speaker 2 (01:28):
She came to my place?

Speaker 3 (01:29):
Very nice? Okay, Okay, what we watch besides each other?

Speaker 2 (01:33):
What's the Netflix? We we just had like a Netflix
and child nice?

Speaker 3 (01:37):
Sure okay?

Speaker 1 (01:38):
Okay.

Speaker 3 (01:38):
And you've not heard from her in over a week though,
right right?

Speaker 2 (01:42):
Yeah, And I've checked everything. I've looked at her Instagram
and I still see her on tender.

Speaker 3 (01:47):
I just haven't heard back from her. Okay.

Speaker 1 (01:49):
And the one thing I wanted to point out you mentioned,
she's actively posting on Instagram still, right, It's almost like
she wasn't kidnapped. It's like, no, I'm alive, and in
fact I'm still living.

Speaker 3 (01:59):
Yeah yeah, yeah, yeah.

Speaker 2 (02:01):
And I don't feel like I'm stalking the Instagram or anything,
but I definitely see she's still posting.

Speaker 1 (02:06):
Sure, And so as far as the hangout, did she
stay over? Did she leave?

Speaker 3 (02:11):
Like? How did you guys leave? That last interaction.

Speaker 2 (02:14):
She went, she went back home after we started on Netflix.
She went back home.

Speaker 1 (02:19):
So okay, but did you leave it with like can't
wait to see you again?

Speaker 3 (02:23):
I'll see you next week.

Speaker 5 (02:24):
Let's go on the date yesterday?

Speaker 3 (02:27):
Oh yeah no.

Speaker 2 (02:29):
Now, on my end, I felt like we left like
we were going to be able to see each other again.
We both give each other her kiss on the cheek,
and that's kind of where it went from there.

Speaker 1 (02:37):
Okay, so let's do this. We'll call her called Christen.
Try to get around and get her side because I
I don't know off the top, especially she was down
for the hangout.

Speaker 5 (02:48):
Thats what I'm saying. And she also on the second
date going to your house. She must Yeah, she must
be some type of way.

Speaker 2 (02:56):
That's why I'm trying to figure it out.

Speaker 3 (02:59):
Watch you. Hello II calling for Kristen. Please Hi, this
is she.

Speaker 6 (03:08):
Can I help you girl?

Speaker 1 (03:09):
It's an intern, John. I got Sauce and Rose here
as well. Can we talked to you on the show
real quick about something nothing bad? Just need like thirty
seconds of your time? Sure, Okay, we're doing a second date.

Speaker 3 (03:20):
Update. I got some of the on the line here.

Speaker 1 (03:22):
Max. If you want to say hello, Hello, hello, and
so Christen Max reached out to us. He had told
us you guys matched on Tinder, uh, that you guys
had a dinner date, that you went to his place
for a date. But he's not heard from you in
about a week or so, even though you're posting on
the gram and still living life. So we're trying to
see where your head's at and where you think this
is going.

Speaker 3 (03:46):
I mean, it's not going anywhere.

Speaker 1 (03:48):
Okay, is there anything in particular because from we've heard
it sounds like you all had a good time.

Speaker 7 (03:53):
Yeah, I mean, you know, first day was good, we
went to dinner, conversation, it was good. He seemed like
a nice guy. I was, you know, my fun self
as usual. Second day we went hiking and I thought
that went well. And then you know, he was like,
you know, I want to do like Netflix and Hill
I said okay, And we were deciding whose place we

(04:14):
were going to go to, and we decided to go
to his place, which is the problem. Okay, this guy
lived with other men, Okay, okay, at a frat house.

Speaker 5 (04:27):
Oh, like an actual front house or did you just
call it the frat house?

Speaker 6 (04:31):
No?

Speaker 7 (04:31):
No, no, it is a legit frat house, okay, like
mattress on the floor. I didn't even know that soap
could be block.

Speaker 3 (04:38):
Honestly, I went to the.

Speaker 1 (04:41):
We're not saying like he's in a fraternity. We're saying
the style which he lives resembles a front house.

Speaker 7 (04:45):
It is a fraud. Yeah right, it's the style of
a proud house. Like almost like he didn't outgrow that
stage in his life. Okay, the guy's twenty seven years old,
for God's sakes, like you know, your own place, even
an efficiency would have been fine if he lived by himself.

Speaker 1 (04:59):
Is it because of the I mean life expensive right now?
Is it because of the state the house is? Neat
and orderly?

Speaker 3 (05:10):
Get mad at me. I'm saying if it was, would
that be different?

Speaker 7 (05:14):
One thousand, one thousand, to live like a civilized human being?

Speaker 5 (05:18):
That's ask Did you see his room? Was his room
like okay?

Speaker 6 (05:22):
Or was?

Speaker 7 (05:23):
It was absolutely gross? It was absolutely gross.

Speaker 3 (05:26):
Everywhere we were.

Speaker 7 (05:27):
We were watching a movie and then people kept coming
in to borrow stuff.

Speaker 3 (05:34):
Maxwell your thoughts.

Speaker 4 (05:38):
With my friends?

Speaker 2 (05:38):
You know, economy tough now, yeah, we're you know we're
we we share a place and you know, my my yes,
my my friends do sometimes come into the rooms without
without knocking, and if.

Speaker 1 (05:54):
We're if we're being honest ourselves, if we saw your place,
we think it was on the University of Maryland's campus there.

Speaker 2 (06:01):
Oh, I mean it's not. You know, we don't have
the cleanest place in the world.

Speaker 6 (06:08):
You know, Yeah, you should probably clean up.

Speaker 3 (06:12):
Well, I'm gonna put you up Bold.

Speaker 1 (06:13):
Are your team Max or team Kristen eight seven seven
nine ninety five for six eight one to call nine
ninety three three eight to tax. It's second date update
on intern John your Morning show. Second date update on
internsown in your Morning Show. We just talked to max In.
Kristin mashed off at tender three weeks ago. He thought
they hit off. They did a love the hiking date,

(06:34):
they had some dinner as well, shooing back to his place.
Then she stopped talking to him. According to her, the
big kind of turn off, I suppose you could say,
is he has a lot of roommates and in her
description kind of make it sounds like he lives in
a frat house type atmosphere. If you would your thoughts
eight seven seven nine ninety five four six eight one

(06:54):
that is number to call nine ninety three three eight
the number of texts if you text would call you
back from Maryland number.

Speaker 3 (07:00):
While we're getting in hold Sauce your thoughts.

Speaker 5 (07:02):
I mean he left it up, like they both like
they said basically that, oh, we like decide like where
should we go, like my place, her place, like you know,
and then they went back to his place and it's gross.
Why would why I even give her the option? You know,
because if you didn't clean up and your place is gross,
I'm not saying like, like you can obviously clean it up,
like you know, it doesn't necessarily have to be a

(07:24):
deal breaker. Yeah, me, it probably would be because you
can't clean it. They could change, but I don't know.
It sounds kind of like it does sound a little
frat housey to me. And I know, I say where
I live as a frat house, But I live by
myself my clean apartment, right, I take out my trash
and everything. Yes, So I I don't know. I don't
love that.

Speaker 3 (07:42):
How about the roommates though? Is that a deterrent for you? Sauce.

Speaker 5 (07:46):
I mean he's in his twenties. The economy is not great.
I'm not going to judge that. I just think that
when it like mattress on the floor stuff like I
get that, like you know you you're you know, out
of college, whatever. But I mean to start like upgrading
your life a little bit. You don't do it all
at once. Just like get a bed frame, start a box.

Speaker 3 (08:05):
Bring a box ring. Well, at least that's better than.

Speaker 5 (08:09):
This, Just like start like upgreen your life a little bit.
So like I think that it doesn't necessarily have to
be a deal breaker, but it's I would never bring
someone like if I if I was in her shoes,
I would have been very like too, sure that makes sense.

Speaker 3 (08:23):
I mean to go in Leesburg, Shay, good morning, good morning,
how are you? I'm doing well? Thank you? What do
you want to say with second date? Updates?

Speaker 6 (08:31):
Listen, you can upgrade a mattress, but you can't really
upgrade the personality. If he's a great guy, just show
him the way and guide him. When I met my husband,
he was living on a futon in his mom's house
with their sisters. His sisters and now we own our
own home. He makes more money than me, and he

(08:54):
is very well off. I just think sometimes if you
meet people at their lowest, it doesn't necessary define who
they are.

Speaker 3 (09:02):
That makes a lot of sense.

Speaker 1 (09:03):
Shade, was your husband pumped to get a bed, like
to go from the food and took a big boy bed?

Speaker 6 (09:09):
Yes, actually he We finally got ourselves a king size
bed not too long ago.

Speaker 3 (09:14):
That's very nice.

Speaker 1 (09:15):
Oh yeah, girl, Shaye, thank you for listening to have
a great day. My main rose your thoughts with this.

Speaker 7 (09:22):
I don't think there's anything wrong with him living in
a place with roommates, but the fact that it is
that disgusting.

Speaker 3 (09:28):
Is definitely an issue. Yeah.

Speaker 5 (09:32):
I wouldn't invite anyone back to my place if it
looked like that, Yeah, at all.

Speaker 3 (09:37):
So I'm confused why he would. Yeah, and there is
the level of privacy.

Speaker 1 (09:42):
I had a buddy who had a similar living south
and five guys in one place, and his room was
the basement, but like there's also like an office kind
of off the basement, so there's a base of the landlord.

Speaker 3 (09:52):
It's a way to get more people to live in
the place, right.

Speaker 1 (09:53):
Yeah, So instead of having a door, they had like
those you know sometimes like Asian restaurants have like it's
like a wall that's like a paper wall. Almost one
divider had one of those that'd be a disaster, because
that's not really privacy. That's just like that's a ship
paper between you. Yeah, I let me get Heather, good morning,
good morning.

Speaker 3 (10:13):
What do you want to say? It was second date update, Heather.

Speaker 4 (10:16):
I am a team Kristen, because, like you know, having
roommates to find in this economy, but at least I
keep the place clean and presentable, es like we're going
to have a date over, and then a mattress on
the floor. I know she mentioned that, like we're all adults.
Unless you've just moved into a place falling on hard times.
They have cheap bed frames on Amazon.

Speaker 1 (10:38):
It's not that difficult. Heaven, thank you for listening. I
have a great day, you too, but bye. I'll say
this on behalf. Then sometimes we just think practical not logical.
So I had like the mattress on the floor for
the first several years I was here because I was like,
it works, And it wasn't until next girlfriends like you know,
like you can get like a bed, and I was like, oh,

(11:00):
he probably has not even thought of it.

Speaker 5 (11:02):
It's not even that. I just feel like it's like
the fact that he it's so dirt, like I think
you think it's normal. How dirty is Yeah?

Speaker 1 (11:07):
Well there he is that too. Listen, men need a
strong women in their lives to show them the way.

Speaker 3 (11:12):
Okay, Marsa Stewart Well.

Speaker 1 (11:14):
The strongest absolutely If you want to do a second update,

John Stockwell, he went viral on TikTok because I guess
the last year he's been ordering one hundred and ten
pound cast iron anvils on Amazon. Why only to return

(11:34):
them immediately? Why it's been an ongoing thing? He just says,
it's funny. He's it costs the two hundred and twenty
five bucks apiece. Both prime anvils are like the cartoon thing.

Speaker 3 (11:42):
Yeah, like the things he dropped on the Roadrunner.

Speaker 5 (11:44):
New York Times thing yesterday.

Speaker 1 (11:47):
Oh no big deal. Yeah, he's he'll buy him the
shipping back so they cover the cause.

Speaker 3 (11:51):
He says.

Speaker 1 (11:51):
It's a silent protest to Amazon. Most folks are saying,
why are you making the workers carry one hundred and
ten pound.

Speaker 3 (11:58):
