Speaker 1 (00:03):
More of the roses on interns John in your morning show.
Speaker 2 (00:07):
Here's why we do it.
Speaker 1 (00:08):
There's no worse feeling than being in what you think
is a happy relationship, a loving relationship, and then that
feeling creeps up that something is off. Are they talking
to somebody else? Is something else going on? We try
to get right to the bottom of it, Ashley, good morning.
Speaker 3 (00:25):
Good morning.
Speaker 1 (00:26):
This is a bit of a twisted web that we
seem to have been woven into.
Speaker 2 (00:31):
You and Tim have been dating for how long?
Speaker 1 (00:36):
And you guys met through a friend, but almost in
a way kind of like it seemed like a twist
of fate because it wasn't like friends set you up.
Speaker 2 (00:45):
Explain what happened.
Speaker 3 (00:47):
So, my good friend Caitlin, she invited me to a
wedding and at that wedding I met one of her coworkers, Tim,
and so it was just I obviously didn't go to
the wedding looking for somebody, but we hit it off
and ever since we've been dating.
Speaker 1 (01:07):
Okay, So you're a really good friend in Tim or coworkers.
They had a friend get married. You were her plus
one and that's where you met Tim. Yes, Okay, started dating,
hit off everything's fine, but there's you have no I
say reason, but you have a business suspicion that maybe
those two are closer than they've let on.
Speaker 2 (01:27):
Is that fair?
Speaker 4 (01:29):
Yes?
Speaker 3 (01:31):
I mean since we started dating, Caitlin's been acting weird.
She kind of acts like she wishes we never met.
Speaker 2 (01:40):
Okay, Yeah, and then.
Speaker 3 (01:42):
A lot of times she says stuff that makes it
sound like they're really close, things like when they stay
late after work, She'll say stuff like, oh, he's just
really stressed out the things that I should be saying about,
not his coworker. You know.
Speaker 2 (01:58):
Yeah, it's weird.
Speaker 1 (02:00):
I wanted to bring up to the location things. So
just to I understand this, you have his location through
find my on iPhone.
Speaker 3 (02:07):
Correct, Yeah, so we share our locations through find my iPhone.
Speaker 2 (02:12):
We don't have.
Speaker 1 (02:13):
Caitlin's location through that, but she's one of those odd
people that has her Snapchat location up, so you can
see where she is through Snapchat.
Speaker 3 (02:21):
Yeah, and I feel like, you know, it's been several
more than several times now, I've caught them in a
couple lives because I can see where he is through
Find my iPhone, I can see where she is through Snapchat,
and they're together, Like I see him going seventy miles an
hour and then I look and her car's in the
same place.
Speaker 5 (02:42):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (02:42):
Yeah, nobody's running seventy miles per hour on two seventy
like they're obviously in a car to gather.
Speaker 2 (02:47):
Yeah, I think, can you explain real quick?
Speaker 1 (02:50):
So this past weekend they were on a work trip
and she kind of like slip they shared a room.
Speaker 3 (02:56):
Yeah, so this is really what got me to contact
you all because they went on this work trip and
then she kind of nonchalantly mentioned, like, you never told
me he snores?
Speaker 6 (03:10):
Off the phone so fast because like she straight.
Speaker 3 (03:13):
Up told me like, yeah, they shared a room, and
she's like, oh, I didn't know. He didn't tell you,
and I just I had to get off the O
I was gonna snap, IK.
Speaker 1 (03:21):
So the question I want to know with that actually,
when Caitlin bried up the oh you didn't tell me
he snored, did she say in the tone like oh,
I can't believe I said that, or in a tone
like I want you to know that I know your
man snores, but seem like it's cute, Like what what
was her tone?
Speaker 3 (03:37):
I feel like she wanted me to know yeah, okay
type thing like I don't think it was a total
accident because she didn't do the whole like gasp and
take back and back the conversation.
Speaker 2 (03:50):
So here's what we're gonna do, Ashley.
Speaker 1 (03:51):
We're gonna have Sauce called him, offer him a dozen
red roses. They should go to you girlfriend ten months.
If they go to Caitlin, we'll find out some more.
Speaker 2 (04:00):
Okay, sounds good, thank you, No problem.
Speaker 1 (04:02):
War the Roses in just over two minutes on Intern John,
your morning show. War the Rosies on Intern John in
your Morning show. Actually, let me recap this because it's
a bit of a twisted web. So you have a
good friend named Caitlin. A couple months back, I guess
almost a year ago now, Caitlyn invited you to a
coworker's wedding. Well at the wedding, you met Caitlyn's co
(04:23):
worker Tim. You and Tim hit Off started dating. You've
now been dating for ten months. You've gotten vibes that
Caitlyn is a little bit jealous of you and Tim dating.
She'll say things to you almost like she's trying to
suddenly let you know they're closed, like, oh, I can't
believe how busy he is, he's having a hard time, YadA, YadA.
You've caught them in lies about where they actually are
(04:46):
physically where they'll say they're not together, But you have
his location and he'll be on two seventy. You have
her Snapchat location, she'll be seemingly next to him in
the same place. And probably the biggest one happened this
past weekend. There was a work trip and she let it.
I won't even say let it slip, she.
Speaker 2 (05:02):
Let you know.
Speaker 5 (05:03):
Yeah, I think she meant to do that.
Speaker 1 (05:05):
Yeah, they were sleep in the same room by saying
something on lines of like, you didn't tell me that
Tim snores.
Speaker 2 (05:11):
Yeah, that's kind of where we're at, right.
Speaker 1 (05:14):
Yeah, Okay, Now let me ask you this on a
on the friends scale, is Caitlin an a friend, a
B friend, or a C friend prior to all this,
without all.
Speaker 3 (05:24):
Of this, she was a B friend. She would she
would show up a lot, and she was a lot
of fun and a good person to talk to.
Speaker 1 (05:31):
So I guess my question is was the type of
friend where she would have told you is she had
a work fling or a crush on a coworker prior
to going to that wedding or did she brief you, like,
oh my god, we're going this wedding and there's going
to be this guy there that I have feelings for.
Speaker 3 (05:46):
He normally would, but I feel like I feel like
she only got interested in him after we got together.
Speaker 1 (05:54):
Okay, that's it. Were you guys, ever, the differ fact
you're in competition prior to this.
Speaker 3 (06:02):
Competition normally, normally we don't go for the same guy.
Speaker 1 (06:06):
Sod Ayeah, maybe it's one big misunderstanding. So let's do this.
Sauce will call Tim, offer him a dozen red roses.
They should clearly go to you girlfriend nearly a year.
If they go to you, we'll put you in hold,
see what you want to do. If they go to Caitlin,
we'll see. I guess how far he digs the hole. Okay,
already one second. Women can be nasty. Like to let
(06:30):
you know, Kate, I'm just letting you know. Basically, I
was in the same rim as your man.
Speaker 5 (06:35):
Anyone can be nasty.
Speaker 7 (06:37):
I'm like to each other, I mean to each other.
You see in movies a lot non reality TV too.
So Hello, Hi, I'm calling for Tim.
Speaker 6 (06:52):
Hi.
Speaker 5 (06:52):
My name's Mallory.
Speaker 7 (06:53):
I'm calling you from a new local flower shop. We're
called YMS Flowers. We're trying out some new marketing or
we're offering people free bouquet of a dozen red roses.
It's our slow season and we're just hoping that you
come back to us totally free. You know, credit card
info is needed, kind of get a name of who
you want to send that to.
Speaker 4 (07:10):
Oh no, yeah, like I'm good.
Speaker 2 (07:12):
This isn't that right, okay?
Speaker 7 (07:14):
I mean, you know, we're just trying out new marketing
because the Instagram ads aren't really helping us out, so
we figure if we send out actual flowers, you see,
then you'll come back to us. Since it is our
slow season and we're just trying to like make my
mom's dream flower shop, you know, just stay open. It
would help your local economy, help my brother graduate from college,
and all that good stuff. I mean, if you don't
want it, I can just move down the list is
totally fine. But I really do think that you could
(07:34):
make someone's day for free.
Speaker 4 (07:37):
Yeah, I mean I don't want to get my credit
card or anything. I mean it kind of sounds scammy.
Speaker 7 (07:40):
I don't know, No, I hear you. We don't need
your credit card info. Like I said, it's totally free.
We're just trying to keep the flower shop going, get
the word out. You know, everyone throws away all the
junk mail flyers and everything, so just a new way
to try it.
Speaker 5 (07:54):
It has been working, okay, Like.
Speaker 2 (08:00):
How does it work?
Speaker 4 (08:01):
Like, I don't care.
Speaker 5 (08:01):
You just give me a name of.
Speaker 7 (08:02):
An address of who you're going to send them to,
and then like we try to get them out today,
especially if it's local. That's why you know, we got
everyone's info from Google. We have like a whole list,
so we're trying to keep it within the zip code.
So lucky you you can make someone's day for free.
Speaker 5 (08:16):
Tim.
Speaker 4 (08:19):
I mean, I'm not going to give you any you know,
financial infos, so that's cool.
Speaker 7 (08:23):
Then whatever, okay, all right, so who do you want
to send them to? We're going to make a little
profile just in case you want to come back to
us for the same person, especially so we can be like, oh.
Speaker 4 (08:34):
I can send a him, yes, all right? Uh you
know what I think I'm going to send them to Natalie.
Speaker 5 (08:43):
Natalie is that spelled like how Natalie is usually spelled? Yeah?
And then what is she to you?
Speaker 7 (08:51):
Just in case you know, you get flowers fro Natalie
again and we're like, oh, Natalie, you're your sister, your mom.
Speaker 4 (08:59):
You know somebody like you know, I kind of just
matched with online and you know, one of the dating
apps and we're going to meet tonight, so kind of
looking forward to it.
Speaker 7 (09:07):
Oh, so do you want them delivered to your house?
You can just show up with them?
Speaker 3 (09:14):
And what isn't that actual doing? What is going on here?
You're on dating app? Why are you on dating app?
Speaker 4 (09:23):
What's going on?
Speaker 1 (09:24):
Well, Tim, there's a lot going on. Let me let
me cut to the chase. My name is intern John.
I got Sasin Rose here, and I also got your
girlfriend Ashley on the line.
Speaker 2 (09:32):
We're doing a War of the Roses on the show.
I need to know. I need you know that.
Speaker 1 (09:36):
Why would you to your girlfriend Ashley's point, why would
you be on a dating app if you have a
girlfriend ten months? And why are you meeting somebody tonight?
Speaker 5 (09:43):
Yeah?
Speaker 4 (09:45):
I mean you know, you know, I do sales. I mean,
so you know whatever, it's just like smoothing somebody, like
you know, getting business and you know, like that's it,
you know, it's dating nothing personal y.
Speaker 3 (09:56):
This is you are such an ass family.
Speaker 6 (09:59):
Tim, Yeah, I mean, like we like, and you're going
to be on dating apps sending flowers to some girl
you haven't even met.
Speaker 3 (10:11):
We've been together ten months, Like, what are you doing?
Speaker 1 (10:16):
Yeah?
Speaker 3 (10:17):
Right now?
Speaker 1 (10:18):
You are such But so my understanding to him is
what you do is you work sales, and so your
thought is, I'm such a good looking dude, I'll match
with women online, convince them are going on a date. Really,
just sell them whatever. But I'm so good looking and
they'll forget the fact that I use them for sales
and still buy with me.
Speaker 4 (10:38):
M Yeah, basically.
Speaker 1 (10:41):
What what what doesn't make sense is this past weekend,
who would you stay in hotel with?
Speaker 4 (10:51):
You're a friend, you know.
Speaker 2 (10:54):
Natalie by chance you're female coworker.
Speaker 1 (10:59):
No, okay, so because Natalie told Ashley you guys shared
a room together this weekend, that's Kaitlyn. Sorry, sorry, sorry
Caitlyn correg crregt got me. Yes, Caitlyn told Ashley you
should have a room this weekend.
Speaker 2 (11:11):
Yeah, it's friends.
Speaker 4 (11:12):
I mean, you know whatever, it was just to save money.
Speaker 5 (11:15):
That's weird.
Speaker 2 (11:15):
How many beds.
Speaker 6 (11:18):
There were two?
Speaker 5 (11:21):
I don't know.
Speaker 1 (11:22):
So your company's policy is men and women can share
hotel rooms on the road.
Speaker 4 (11:29):
I mean, we're the budget so we want to save money.
Speaker 2 (11:32):
And you didn't think your girlfriend should know that.
Speaker 4 (11:36):
I mean, nothing happened, there's no reason to share anything.
Speaker 5 (11:38):
Well, Kaitlyn felt like you should share.
Speaker 2 (11:40):
So Ashley, what's your head?
Speaker 3 (11:42):
Like?
Speaker 2 (11:43):
What are you thinking right now?
Speaker 3 (11:45):
Iim I hate you right now. I can't believe you,
Like after all we've been through and alwa's all we've
done together, all the plans we've made, all the time
I've spent with your family and you've spent with mine,
and this is how you treat me like I cannot
believe you. I don't want to see you ever again.
Speaker 4 (12:02):
I'm well, this is overreacting. I mean, there's nothing.
Speaker 6 (12:09):
Okay, all right?
