Vanessa and Davis have been together for a little over two years and while things have been great for the most part, Vanessa tells us the past month has been different. Vanessa has started to notice that Davis will go days without texting her and she feels like it started happening after she asked him if he wanted to move in together.

We call Davis pretending to send him a free bouquet of flowers and when we ask Davis who he wants them sent to, he asks us to send them to someone named Justine who he is going out with tonight. Find out what’s really going on in this week’s War Of The Roses!

Speaker 1 (00:06):
War of the Rosies on intern John in your morning show.
You are in what you think is a healthy, healthy, healthy,
happy relationship, but some things pop up they'll make you
wonder what else is going on? Is there cheating? We
try to get right to the bottom of that for you.
Let me go, Vanessa, good morning.

Speaker 2 (00:25):
Good morning.

Speaker 1 (00:26):
So let's walk through this. You and Davis have been
together for how long we've been to get up?

Speaker 2 (00:32):
Two?

Speaker 3 (00:32):
You?

Speaker 1 (00:32):
Okay? And you guys met through friends?

Speaker 2 (00:35):
Yeah? Yes?

Speaker 1 (00:36):
Was it a case where the the friends set you
guys up or you happen to be at a mutual
spot with people and you click that way?

Speaker 2 (00:44):
No, we was at a miss spot that Chili's.

Speaker 1 (00:47):
Actually hell yeah, that's cheese, Paul.

Speaker 3 (00:51):
Girl, come on, absolutely, yeah, the cheese will costume.

Speaker 1 (00:55):
Yes, it's how long after meeting at the chili's did
you guys start a fishctually dating?

Speaker 2 (01:02):
And uh like about six months and we stayed at
dating officially gotcha?

Speaker 1 (01:09):
Okay? So known each other for about two and a
half years, officially dating for two years?

Speaker 2 (01:13):
Right?

Speaker 1 (01:14):
Yes, And in your email you mentioned that you guys
had the talk about not what are we but like,
are we gonna get engaged? Are we gonna move in whatever.
And yeah, and since that conversation, things have time gone sideway.
Is that fair?

Speaker 2 (01:32):
Yes, that's fair okay.

Speaker 1 (01:34):
And so how was his reaction when you first brought.

Speaker 4 (01:36):
Up He seems like, are you down with it? You know,
we've been seeing each other, We've been you know, going
out and having fun.

Speaker 2 (01:45):
He seems like he moved down for when we first
started talking about it.

Speaker 1 (01:49):
But was he down for moving in? Down for engagement?

Speaker 2 (01:52):
Like?

Speaker 1 (01:52):
What what does him being?

Speaker 2 (01:53):
Yeah?

Speaker 1 (01:54):
What was he down for? Besides? Okay, that's what.

Speaker 2 (01:59):
He made me believe. They wanted to move in.

Speaker 1 (02:01):
With me, okay, And so he moved into your place.
Are you guys to get a new place? Are you
moving in with him?

Speaker 2 (02:07):
No? No, no, he's gonna move into my place, gotcha?

Speaker 1 (02:09):
Okay. But since that conversation though, that's when you said,
you know, it's a shift where it's hard to get
ahold of them, send your emails. Sometimes you have like
a couple of days not talking.

Speaker 2 (02:19):
Yes, and that was strange because we're not usually like that.
About a month and a half ago, he said it
like he was avoiding me for some reason. And we
used to talk every day.

Speaker 1 (02:27):
Okay.

Speaker 2 (02:28):
So that's why I sound. I thought it was more
related because he said he have, you know, work a
lot of hours, and then I'm like, no, you don't
work at night.

Speaker 3 (02:36):
Yeah, if you want to talk to you, he would
reach out.

Speaker 1 (02:38):
Has anybody in the friend group said anything, like anybody
of your mutual friends like, hey, he's acting different with
us or no.

Speaker 2 (02:46):
No, okay, they have a good old time with him.
I'm like, okay, and that thinks he's cheating because how
you have time for your friend but you don't have
time for your good Absolutely?

Speaker 1 (02:57):
Yeah, okay. The last question I have is as far
as him moving in, is his lease ending soon? Like
logistically does it make sense?

Speaker 2 (03:06):
Yes? It is? Actually yes, So I thought we rolled down.

Speaker 1 (03:10):
So let's do this. We sauce call from the flower company,
off from the roses. They should go to you girlfriend
of two years. If they do, we put them on hold.
If they go somewhere else, we'll get some answers for you. Okay, okay,
I wore the roses in less than three minutes on
Intern John in your morning show. So wore the roses
on intern John in your morning show, Vanessa, let me
recap this. You and Davis met through friends about two

(03:32):
and a half years ago, started dating six months after,
So do the math. We've been together about two years.
Everything was great, although you mentioned that you guys had
the big talk of what is next step engagement? Yeah,
you know, moving in, and you guys had basically agree
that he'd be moving in with you eventually. However, you
say since then he's kind of backed off and that

(03:54):
you'll sometimes go days without talking to him. Is that fair?

Speaker 2 (03:59):
Yes?

Speaker 1 (04:00):
Now, you mentioned that your friend group hasn't noticed anything different.
But when you guys first started dating, did the friend
group seem supportive? Do they be like, hey girl, he's
a dirty dog?

Speaker 2 (04:11):
Like?

Speaker 1 (04:11):
How was their reaction to you guys fall in love?

Speaker 2 (04:16):
No, they was very supportive. Yeah, we all had a
good time. We used to go up regularly, like once
a week, we all go out, you know, the same
way we met and then the rest of the six days,
me and Davis, we do our own thing.

Speaker 1 (04:26):
Until recently, Wait, so is he hanging out with the
friend group without you?

Speaker 3 (04:30):
That's what sounds like. No?

Speaker 2 (04:32):
Okay, did I know? Okay, No, we've all get together
once a week.

Speaker 1 (04:37):
Gotcha, Okay, that's okay.

Speaker 3 (04:38):
I thought they're all having fun without.

Speaker 1 (04:41):
You'd be a whole different thing. Okay, so let's do this.
We'll have sauce called Davis from the flower company. From
the roses. They should go to you, a chorus girlfriend
of two years. If they do, we put you on hold.
If they go somewhere else, we'll get some answers for you. Okay, Yes,
one second, Davis, Davis, Yes, day.

Speaker 3 (05:09):

is Willow. I'm calling you from a new local flower shop.

holidays and everything. So we're offering locals once a week
of free bouquet of a dozen red roses, and so
you're at the top of my list, totally free. Don't
in your credit card, infell. Just it's a way to,
you know, make yourself look good for someone and maybe

(05:30):
you'll love our flowers and come back and use us.

Speaker 2 (05:35):
This is a flower shop.

Speaker 3 (05:37):

dad they just opened this over the summer and we're
trying to get you know, more foot traffic of course
for the holidays, make my mom's dreams flourish. If you
will like my name's Willow Love Plants. So yeah, just
trying to just make it work. Instead of Instagram ads,
we want to show you just how gorgeous these bouquets are.
And what better way to like make you look great
get those gold stars with whoever's special in your life,

(05:59):
then a free bouquet of roses or you know, whatever
kind of flowers you want. But we do have a
plaza of roses, so.

Speaker 2 (06:06):
Okay, yeah, we don't.

Speaker 3 (06:08):
We're not gonna take your credit card info. We just
hope that you love the flowers and you come back
support your local economy if you will. Okay, yeah, yeah, okay, awesome.
So we're gonna make you like a little profile just
so that Davis, if you do come back, we'll be like, Davis,
Oh great to see you again, how so and so

(06:30):
even though I don't see you right now, but you
get it. Okay, cool. So let's just start with the
name and then we'll go from there and I'll just
go down like the list and we'll fill out everything
and then i'll get the address. Is that cool?

Speaker 5 (06:41):
Okay, I'm down. It's a little off that I'm down
to support a local business.

Speaker 1 (06:45):
Let's thank you.

Speaker 3 (06:46):
So much. Okay, So what is the first name of
who you're sending them to?

Speaker 5 (06:51):
