Chloe and Christian have been together for over a year and a half and actually met at a Starbucks. For the most part Chloe tells us things have been great, but this past weekend she wanted to surprise Christian with dinner, but he never answered the door. Christian’s car was in the driveway and he claims he was sleeping, but Chloe thinks something else was going on and that Christian was trying to hide from her.

We call Christian pretending to offer him a free bouquet of flowers and when we ask him who he wants them sent to, Christian asks if they can be sent to someone named Savannah. Find out what’s really going on in this week’s War Of The Roses!

Speaker 1 (00:06):
Is War of the Roses on Intern John in your
Morning show. We all want love. We don't want being
a happy, healthy relationship, and that's why there's no worse
feeling than when you think you found that. But some
cracks start to form and you wonder, is something else
going on? We try to get right to the bottom
of it. Chloe, good morning.

Speaker 2 (00:25):
Hey, good morning.

Speaker 1 (00:26):
So I'm reading your email. You and Christian met in
the wild, kind of like an old school meet cute.

Speaker 2 (00:32):
Oh yeah, we did. We did.

Speaker 3 (00:37):
I worked from home, so I always take breaks or
sometimes I'll spend half my day at you know, either
a cute little independent coffee shop or a Starbucks near
my house. Yeah, we met at a coffee shop.

Speaker 1 (00:51):
Okay, And so was it like you walked in You
guys locked eyes and like right away, sparks flying, exchanged
numbers or do we spun him across the room a
couple of times and that was a slow burn, make
awkward I contact.

Speaker 4 (01:04):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (01:06):
Yeah, actually he approached me and I had seen him
there before. That's the crazy part. I've been to this
one coffee shop at few times and I'd seen him
come and go a couple of times, like get it
to go order and leave. Yeah, And the time he
approached me, it was actually really cute. He like came in,
I noticed him, he noticed me, He got his to

(01:27):
go order, and he walked out, and I literally saw
him turn around and come back in, like I yeah,
it was really cute. And he came up to me
and he pulled the chair out across from me, and
he was like, okay, I need to know your name.

Speaker 1 (01:41):
Your view was like yeah, but here we are though,
doing War of the Roses. What happened this past week?

Speaker 3 (01:50):
Yeah? Right, I loved his confidence. I'm over here like
really concerned that that confidence is being pulled on someone else.

Speaker 1 (01:59):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, So what happened this weekend?

Speaker 3 (02:03):
Saturday night? We didn't have plans, but I wanted to
just surprise him and make him dinner. Sometimes we don't
see each other on Saturday nights because sometimes he works
on Sure. So I went to his house at a
one reasonable hour, six pm. And yeah, sometimes he goes
to bed by like nine or ten on a Saturday
because sometimes he works Sunday, and he was supposed to

(02:25):
work Sunday. Anyway, show up at six pm. I cooked
him dinner. Put it in this cute freaking to go
like presentation and everything. I was so proud of it.
And his car was there. So he knocks on this door,
no answer.

Speaker 2 (02:40):
I was like, what the heck?

Speaker 3 (02:41):
So then I like walked around back, tried the back door,
it was locked. Came back around to the front again.
Not a ton more like super loud and the six
o'clock whatever. No answer.

Speaker 1 (02:53):
Okay, it's weird. And so when you finally got a
hold of him, he told you what.

Speaker 3 (03:00):
Then he was sleeping?

Speaker 1 (03:01):
Okay that long? Yeah, so that that's odd. So let's
do Let's do this, Chloe, because this is either like
a huge misunderstanding or something else. We've sauce. Call from
the flower company, off from the roses. They should go
to you girlfriend of a year and a half. If
they do, we'll hang up move on. If they don't,
we'll get some answers. Okay, yes, I just hold that,

(03:27):
no problem. More of the Roses. Next an intern Johnny
Morning Show. It's one of the rosies on intern john
your Morning show. Chloe. Let me recap this. You and
Christian been together about a year and a half. Everything
has been great this past weekend though you guys had
no plans. You went to his place to surprise him
with dinner, had everything made. Get to his place, you

(03:50):
notice the lights are on cars in the driveway. You call,
no answer, You knock, no answer. He claims he was sleeping,
and that's kind of where we're at. So it is
a situation where it could be nothing. It could just
be he actually fell asleep, or there's something else. A
couple of questions I had for you, and not that
there's a rush, but you know, a year and a

(04:12):
half dating, have you guys had talks about what the
next step is, whether that's moving in with each other
or engagement or anything like that.

Speaker 3 (04:22):
Not really, And I think maybe that's just on me.
I'm just a bit of a committal to begin with.
So I've just been enjoying the ride of being together.

Speaker 1 (04:33):
It's literally just for us to kind of paint the picture. Yeah.
The one thing I'll say too, is that again, how
we do roses and we've had to be workout fine.
If he does them to you, we'll put him on
hold and then we can either hang out or move on.
I do think the one positive light in this, as

(04:53):
you mentioned that he's been consistently inconsistent with his phone
the entire time, including when you're with him, So it's
not like when you're with him he's on his phone.
Answer because we've had folks that way where it's like
I can't get hold of them, but when they're with me,
they're on their phone. At least he in the phone
seemed to be like anti each other.

Speaker 4 (05:10):
Yeah, that's a good way to put.

Speaker 1 (05:14):
Two last questions. He has no roommate, correct nom okay,
And then you don't have a key, I'm assuming or
if there's no you know where the spare key is,
like you couldn't or could you ask if you want to?

Speaker 3 (05:25):
I don't know what key. We spend most of the
time at my place.

Speaker 2 (05:29):
This will do you only here and there.

Speaker 1 (05:31):
Yeah, so Sauce is gonna call off the flowers. If
they go to you, we'll just hang up. This never happened.
If he goes somebody else, we'll get answers for you.

Speaker 3 (05:39):
Okay, Okay, that sounds good.

Speaker 1 (05:42):
I one second try and get them on.

Speaker 2 (05:56):
I'm calling for Christian.

Speaker 4 (06:00):
Yeahm Hi, my name is Aubrey. I'm calling you from
a new flower shop. We just open downtown. We're called
Yms Flowers. So we're trying out new marketing where we're
trying to get our product out there in the community.
So we're offering you a free bouquet of a dozen
roses that can go out today, especially with the local
zip code, but we don't need your credit card info
or anything. Is that something you'd be interested in?

Speaker 3 (06:22):
Uh?

Speaker 1 (06:22):
No, I think I'm good.

Speaker 3 (06:24):
Okay.

Speaker 4 (06:24):
We're just like trying not to be like Instagram ads,
you know, and since it's slow season the holidays are
coming up, you would be getting a free bouquet of roses.
And then I'm just like, I try to explain it
as it's a win win because you look great and
you could be sending roses or you could keep them
for yourself. But we don't need your credit card info.
You're not going to get charged or anything. And then
we also maybe you get your business, you know for
the holiday season.

Speaker 1 (06:46):
Yeah, but I don't want to get like a credit
card charge, you know a month from now. Isn't there
like over the phone?

Speaker 4 (06:54):
No, no, no, I totally understand. I'm not going to
take your credit card info or anything. We're just trying
to not be like some ad that you swipe through
or tell Instagram you don't want to see anymore, so
you actually see the product my mom puts together, beautiful
bouquets of roses. I literally hate talking on the phone,
so this is like grinding my teeth from me right now.
But we're just trying to like make our flower shop
actually work in this economy and everything. Uh So it's

(07:15):
if you don't want to do it, I'll stop talking
your ear off. But if you do, it's totally free.

Speaker 2 (07:23):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (07:24):
Yeah, yeah, I twisted your arm.

Speaker 2 (07:27):
I did it. Yeah, I'm mom.

Speaker 4 (07:28):
Okay, So I'm gonna make like a little profile just
in case you do come back, so we can be like, oh, Christian,
how are you anything else? So who do you want
to send them to?

Speaker 1 (07:41):
I gotta put a name and everything.

Speaker 4 (07:43):
I mean, yeah, usually people do, just if you if
you're sending them to somebody. If you're sending them to yourself,
you don't have to. But usually, like, yeah, people usually
send them, especially guys. I honestly been trying mostly called
men so that they can send them to, like, you know,
their their friends and stuff.

Speaker 2 (07:58):
Okay, yeah, their significant others if you will.

Speaker 1 (08:03):
Yeah, you can send them.

Speaker 2 (08:08):
I'll send it to uh.

Speaker 4 (08:09):
Savannah Savannah Savannah, Like uh is it spelled like Savannah Georgia.

Speaker 2 (08:15):
Yes, okay, sick.

Speaker 4 (08:16):
And then uh, if you come back and you're getting
flowers for Santavanna again, we're we also put like it's
your wife, your girlfriend, your mom. They are red roses, uh,
your sister, friend, cousin, other, it's just other, okay, all right,
I'm just they are red rose I know I already
said it. They're just like romantic. I would think if

(08:37):
I got red roses from somebody, I'd be like, oh
my god, he's in love with me.

Speaker 2 (08:40):
But what do you want the car to say?

Speaker 4 (08:41):
It's just like your typical little flower card.

Speaker 3 (08:47):
Say like, uh uh see, I'm a nice guy.

Speaker 2 (08:53):
See I'm a nice I'm a nice guy. Yeah, okay
did nice guy?

Speaker 3 (09:00):
Excuse me? Excuse me? See I'm a nice guy. Because
what you're from work? You didn't answer the door on Saturday.

Speaker 1 (09:11):
My name is interns. John. Can you tell you that
you got sauce? You were doing a war of the
roses and you let you know that that is your
girlfriend Chloe. So, Chloe, do you know who Savannah is?

Speaker 3 (09:23):
Yeah? I know who Savannah is. And I am not
even your girlfriend now.

Speaker 1 (09:26):
Like what yeah, why would you tell you like, yeah,
why you send your coworker flowers and let you know
you're a good guy?

Speaker 2 (09:36):
Yeah? Why do you have to say that to her?

Speaker 1 (09:39):
I mean it's yeah, it's I mean I didn't pick
the red ones.

Speaker 2 (09:44):
I'm just why your.

Speaker 3 (09:47):
Girlfriend someone you work with? What the hell?

Speaker 2 (09:56):
Okay? But why would't you send it to your girlfriend?

Speaker 1 (09:58):
I don't care for dad, you don't like you have
a girlfriend.

Speaker 3 (10:02):
That's beyond obnoxious. That's so like what I'm going out
of you right now.

Speaker 1 (10:08):
You're clearly such that word. So Christian, I'm gonna be honest.
We know Savanna is at your place this.

Speaker 4 (10:14):
Weekend, Yes, we do, for a fact, So I don't
feel you are good man.

Speaker 1 (10:19):
Hold, we know she was there for a fact. How
how do you know that I was kidding? We have
no idea. Okay, so that's why he answered dog.

Speaker 2 (10:31):
And now we know you're not a good man about him?

Speaker 3 (10:34):
Please?

Speaker 1 (10:34):
Yeah, why would you need like? She clearly knows you're
not good man if you cheating.

Speaker 2 (10:38):
On your girlfriend, like I'm a good guy. No, you're not.

Speaker 4 (10:43):
I mean you don't know does she know that you
have a girlfriend named?

Speaker 3 (10:55):
Question? Yeah?

Speaker 1 (10:56):
Question?

Speaker 3 (10:57):
