Madison and Travis have been dating for a little over four months and for the most part things have been great! Madison tells us that this past weekend Travis’ friends threw a surprise birthday party for him, but she wasn’t invited. Madison learned that there were other women there so she was confused as to why she was left out. At the same time, Madison also knows there have been other boys’ nights that she hasn’t been invited to and she’s worried that Travis might be seeing other people and not committed to her.

We call Travis pretending to offer him a free bouquet of flowers and when we ask him who he wants them sent to, Travis asks if they can be sent to four different people. Find out what’s really going on in this week’s War Of The Roses!

Speaker 1 (00:06):
War of the Roses on Interns down your Morning show.
There is no better feeling than thinking like you've found
your person. You've found your ride or die, the one
to bring home to mom and dad and to start
your future with. At the same time, there's no worse
feeling when that person does something that makes you go,
is there somebody else? Is there something going on? We
try to rip off that band aid with War of

(00:28):
the Roses Madison, good morning.

Speaker 2 (00:31):
Good morning, good morning.

Speaker 3 (00:34):
Yeah, you described me to the cheese.

Speaker 2 (00:36):
Nothing like feeling like you have your ride a die person. Yeah,
just to have that feeling something's going on, something's just
not right.

Speaker 3 (00:43):
That's me.

Speaker 1 (00:43):
Yeah, And let's get to this. So you and Travis
been together for how long?

Speaker 3 (00:48):
Yeah, we've been together for four months?

Speaker 1 (00:50):
Okay, And so this is kind of set the stage.
This week is his birthday week. He's a leo. Yeah, okay, yeah,
what happens. Everything prior to this past weekend has been
relatively fine, the relationship normal ebbs and flows. What happened
this past weekend that has he thinking something's going on?

Speaker 3 (01:11):
Okay, So this is you, guys.

Speaker 2 (01:13):
I know you're gonna agree with me on this. That's
something fishy is happening. Okay, So, like you said, it
was Travis's birthday, right his friends. What I discovered on
you know, the social media platform. You know, I was
glancing over.

Speaker 4 (01:28):
His friends threw him a surprise birthday party, okay, and
they didn't invite me. Oh weird, Like you, I have
no idea because I asked them ahead of time what
they were doing for him for his birthday and they
told me nothing.

Speaker 2 (01:43):
We're not doing anything for his birthday. So then for
me to like open up, you know, my little you know, Facebook, Instagram,
whatever it is, I'm looking and I see a whole party,
a whole big old surprise party, balloons, everything. My heart
like fell to the floor, you know, my stomach started hurt.
And then as you scroll through more pictures there's girls there. Okay,

(02:04):
so it wasn't just the boys.

Speaker 3 (02:05):
Eyed out there too.

Speaker 1 (02:08):
What what I would offer to reading the email? Dudes
don't do balloons and decorations for each other. A girl definitely,
and like for the photos he sent us, and not
to rub salt in the amass. And a woman definitely
did the decoration. It looks very well done. So right,
so just so I can understand so this past Saturday,
he had told you, hey, doing a boys' night whatever.

Speaker 5 (02:29):
He turned out to be surprised party with girls.

Speaker 1 (02:32):
You would ask his friends in advance, like, hey, what
we doing for Travis' birthday? They said nothing.

Speaker 3 (02:37):
That clearly was nothing. Okay, complete lie, complete lie.

Speaker 2 (02:41):
It's like a slap in the face, you know, and
it just makes me think, you know.

Speaker 5 (02:45):
Why are they treating me his girlfriend?

Speaker 6 (02:48):
What? What's going on?

Speaker 1 (02:49):
This has happened before that you mentioned where he has
said it's gonna be a guy's night, but then you'll
see later on stories whatever, like there's other women there,
but he makes to seem like those girls invite themselves.

Speaker 3 (03:01):
That's right.

Speaker 6 (03:02):
What would you do with yourself? Like you do you
think he'd be upset?

Speaker 3 (03:07):
Probably?

Speaker 6 (03:08):
Yeah?

Speaker 3 (03:09):
Probably?

Speaker 1 (03:10):
Okay, yeah, that's odd.

Speaker 5 (03:14):
So and by the way, you have met his friends before, right.

Speaker 2 (03:18):
Yes, I've met all of them before, you know, I
thought we were okay, okay, there's not.

Speaker 3 (03:24):
One best friend of his I haven't.

Speaker 5 (03:25):
Met, you know, Sure, let's do this.

Speaker 1 (03:28):
No, I agree, We're gonna have a sauce call from
the flower company, off from the roses. They should go
to you girlfriend of four months if they go to you,
we'll put them on hold. If they go somewhere else,
we'll get some answers for you. Is that coolwoar of
the rosies on intern John your morning show, Madison. Let
me recap this quick. You and Travis been together about
four months. I will say this is of all the

(03:49):
reasons do roses, this is the most like. I don't
have a logical explanation for why we're in this spot.
But his birthday is this week. You had asked his
friend group about a week or so ago, hey, what
are we doing for Travis's birthday? Because you want to
include them. They said, we're not doing anything. He goes
out this past weekend, do you see us for a

(04:09):
surprise birthday party for him? Decorations there is you know, cake,
ice cream, there's ladies there.

Speaker 5 (04:14):
We all kind of agree looking.

Speaker 1 (04:16):
At the photos, ain't no, dude, that kind of decorating
And that's just it's just not the vibe.

Speaker 6 (04:21):
I've never seen any of my guy friends decorate for
just like die bus friends at all.

Speaker 1 (04:26):
No, No, And you've mentioned before there's been times where
he told you, hey, we're doing a guy's night, and
then other girls in the group, like other girlfriends have
shown up.

Speaker 5 (04:34):
That's all correct, right, we.

Speaker 3 (04:38):
Have all one million correct.

Speaker 1 (04:40):
Let me ask you this, if this has happened before,
do you think it was truly a surprise party or
do you think he knew it was his birthday and
just didn't want you there?

Speaker 5 (04:48):
And I hate to ask that. I know it sounds hard.

Speaker 6 (04:51):
We're all thinking, right, I'm starting to think that as well.

Speaker 2 (04:55):
You know, that's exactly what my gut is kind of
telling me.

Speaker 1 (04:58):
And it hurts because what I would say is, as
a dude with was my friend, I'd want the girlfriend
to be involved. I don't want to make it times
bad for my dude. If, like if it was Eric
had a girlfriend and I didn't invite her to his
birthday party, that can put Eric in hot water.

Speaker 6 (05:15):
Yeah, but also like Eric would be like, I'm not
gonna stay if my girlfriend's on bite.

Speaker 5 (05:20):
That's a good point too.

Speaker 1 (05:23):
Yeah, sure it was the friends that through the party.

Speaker 6 (05:26):
What if it was a girl who threw that's good
point to that.

Speaker 1 (05:31):
But I do yeah, I do think that if I
was worried about being a doghouse, I probably have gone home.

Speaker 6 (05:37):
Yeah. So like, okay, guys, it's super weird.

Speaker 1 (05:40):
So let's do this Madison love sauce. Call from the
flower company, off from the roses. They should go to
you girlfriend of four months. If that happens, a put
on hold and then we can hang out or do whatever.
If they go somewhere else, that will get some answers
for you.

Speaker 3 (05:52):
Okay, okay, thank you guys.

Speaker 1 (05:54):
One second, some smells some smells fishy for sure, not
quite too sure, but.

Speaker 5 (06:02):
It's not the studio.

Speaker 6 (06:05):
Shut up. Hello, Hi, I'm calling for Travis.

Speaker 3 (06:12):
Okay, this is Travis. Who is it. Hi.

Speaker 6 (06:16):
My name is Caitlin. I'm actually calling you from a
new flower shop. We're called Weymous Flowers. We just open downtown.
We're trying out to new marketing where we're offering people
in the zip code free bouquet of a dozen red roses,
just hoping that you'll use us for the future. You
make someone's day, you support your local business, and we
don't need a credit card info or anything. So I
kind of just get who you want to send them
to and we'll try to get them out today if

(06:37):
it's in this zip code.

Speaker 3 (06:41):
What this sounds a little scary.

Speaker 6 (06:46):
Yeah, I mean I'm jen Z. I hate talking on
the phone. We don't do Instagram apps because you're just
gonna kind of scroll through it anyway. So we're trying
out new marketing where it's kind of a win win.
You get to see the product in person, and then
you make someone's day if you're sending them to someone
or if you want them for yourself by all means.
But then hopefully you just use us in the future,
because you know the holidays are coming. We're trying We

(07:07):
just opened, and then you support the local economy. We
don't need your credit card info. I don't want to
twist your arm, but my mother will maybe love me
a little bit more and you'll look like a better
person to whoever you send them to. Uh, let's it's
to yourself, which like love yourself by all means.

Speaker 3 (07:27):
Say, but.

Speaker 6 (07:29):
I really hate talking on the phone. I'm just like
trying to make this stream of my mom's come true.
And the bouquets are gorgeous, so.

Speaker 3 (07:39):
It wouldn't hurt no credit card, right.

Speaker 6 (07:41):
Nope, I don't need anything. Obviously, I'll need the name
of who you're sending you to address, but we're just
gonna start making a little file, I guess you'd say,
because like Travis, I know you're gonna come back. You're
gonna love these flowers? So can I get a name
for who you want to send the red roses to?
It is a dozen? So I say that they're romantic?

Speaker 3 (08:00):
Is there? Okay? Hold on? Hold on? Is there a name?
I got an idea? Can you can you split those
up for me?

Speaker 6 (08:10):
Like I can happen?

Speaker 3 (08:11):
Can you? Well? Like? Well, actually, like four ways?

Speaker 6 (08:16):
So four people? Are are you saying these like your sisters,
like your mom's sister?

Speaker 3 (08:21):
Well, these are you know, special special someone's you know?

Speaker 6 (08:28):
Do you want me to to spose it? Okay? Four ways?
I mean my brother and I are fighting, so I'd
like to make his his day miserable. Anyway? Are they
all within this area? Like within like a fifteen mile radius,
maybe twenty five even you know, he really may be
mad this morning?

Speaker 3 (08:46):
They're pretty They're pretty close? Okay, pretty close.

Speaker 6 (08:49):
We start with the names of who uh is getting
the flowers?

Speaker 3 (08:55):
Okay? Can I get Bianca? Want to do Maria? Mh?
I have Desia?

Speaker 6 (09:05):
This sounds like number five? Sorry, Well, how do you
spell deja? That's d e j a d e j
a Okay, sorry, Christina is that Christina with like c

(09:26):
h R like Christina Aguilera. No no h R that
h to hold her down. Love it, love it. Okay,
I'm I'm just gonna say these are your friends because
I'm not even gonna right, wife, girlfriend, this is weird,
and my mom is like very like you know, she
she's just a little judge. So we don't want to
judge you next time you come in. Uh, what do

(09:46):
you want the card to say? It's just your typical
little flower card.

Speaker 3 (09:51):
Well, okay, listen, I need the same message for all
four Okay, to see you tonight. Okay, you the kiss
or whatever you want on it?

Speaker 6 (10:01):
You want Are you meant the kissing emoji?

Speaker 3 (10:07):
Yeah, little emoji there, just you know, put a little flare,
but also put I'll text the details.

Speaker 6 (10:13):
Okay, I'll text it. So we're going to send these
all out at the same time, so like we're going
to see all of your cousins tonight.

Speaker 3 (10:22):
Or kissing cousins if you will. But I mean, listen,
I just got to keep my options open. One might
cancel much, you know, just keeping things open and keeping
them fresh at the same time. So if we can
send them all at the same time, that it will
be great.

Speaker 1 (10:37):
Travis, although valid question. Travis, my name is intern John.
I got Sauce and Rose here as well. That is
your girlfriend Madison. We're doing a war of the roses
on the show. I've never heard the kissing cousins, but who.

Speaker 6 (10:53):
Got I made up that rumor. I'm sorry, he said,
kissing cousins, he said, I'm not kissing, he said.

Speaker 5 (11:04):

Speaker 3 (11:09):

Speaker 3 (11:24):
She always listens. She's waking up calling me in the
middle of the night, dreaming, and I'm dealing with some
lady over here. I'm doing this, I'm.

Speaker 1 (11:32):

Speaker 3 (11:38):

Speaker 2 (11:43):

Speaker 1 (11:50):
Wait, so, Travis, you you are taking girls out tonight
for drinks and you'll think that's a problem. Were you
planning on telling your girlfriend about your plan tonight?

Speaker 6 (11:59):
No?

Speaker 3 (12:00):
Oh my, maybe later in the day.

Speaker 5 (12:04):
That's why I want to paranoid.

Speaker 3 (12:06):
I don't want to do the time.

Speaker 6 (12:11):

Speaker 3 (12:16):

overreacting again.

Speaker 1 (12:31):

upgrade your phone service and upgrade yourself.

Speaker 3 (12:40):
Okay, this is ridiculous.

Speaker 6 (12:44):
