Even if it rains like okay, so you get to
have chili inside Margarita.
Speaker 3 (02:17):
Ye, it's it's gonna be bad, and we'll be able
to get a better idea how that's gonna go tomorrow,
you know, with some forecast. But right now we do
have a contingency plan. We don't want anybody to not
come out because they think it's gonna rain. We are
able to take care of you that way and still
have you enjoy the deal and get all that great chili.
So again that Sunset Walk dot com. What do you
have for us, young lady?
Speaker 5 (02:36):
So happening all month long. Something that I experienced last
week is the pumpkin patch at JoJo's Shake Bar, which
is at Point Orlando. So they're doing this every single
day throughout October, and it's thirty five bucks. You get
a medium pumpkin, You get painting supplies, so you get
to paint it there. They do it out on their patio.
(02:58):
There's a cute pumpkin patch to horn stuff. Very basic
girl situation, which is fabulous. And so with your thirty
five bucks, you get the pumpkin to paint, You get
an entree full big entree, and a signature shake and
you can choose from any of the shakes. That they have,
but of course they have a pumpkin patch one.
Speaker 3 (03:16):
Oh really just.
Speaker 5 (03:16):
Pumpkin spice, a whole ass caramel apple. Sorry, it was good.
Speaker 4 (03:30):
The game, not the player.
Speaker 3 (03:31):
By the way, that's not just a regular caramel apple.
That's a whole ass caramel apple. You usually don't hear
those two words bad order.
Speaker 5 (03:42):
In this case, Yes, it was bait and then a
slice of pumpkin pie on top of that dang shake.
Speaker 4 (03:48):
It was crazy.
Speaker 5 (03:50):
Yeah, man, it's a whole with the pumpkin and the painting.
Speaker 3 (03:54):
And the I don't know if you've noticed a pumpkin time.
Pumpkins saint cheap. They charged the pumpkins. And I gotta
tell you, I think if you do anything with your family,
your kids this time of year, pumpkin carving, that's as
good as it gets. That's as family as it gets.
Speaker 5 (04:08):
Oh and that's like, I love pumpkin carving, and we
still do that, but I also love pumpkin painting because
like you'll have to deal with the guts and whatever
y'res so cute and put it out and there you go.
So another thing happening in that part of Orlando, in
that International Drive area is Grand Helios, which is that
marvelous hotel there that overlooks Epic Universe. Bar Helios, which
(04:31):
is at the very top tenth floor, just rolled out
some new menu enhancement. So most of the menu is
still the same, but now they have a tomahawk thirty
two ounce carved table side steak experience. They have new
scallops on the menu. They're officially putting non alcoholic drinks
(04:51):
on the menu. You could order them, but now like
you can just point to them instead of having to say,
I want this nice. We were there earlier this week
and still as gorgeous as ever.
Speaker 4 (05:03):
The views of Epic Universe are y yea.
Speaker 5 (05:04):
It's pretty and good unreal happening Saturday evening six thirty pm.
Speaker 4 (05:10):
So after you get your fill of chili, if you
live over.
Speaker 5 (05:13):
In the Seminole County area, you can go over to
the International Observe the Moon Viewing event at the Planetarium
that's there at Seminole State College. This is a free
event and they will have tons of telescopes set up
for you to view the moon because we're about to
have a full moon, so that'll be a really cool
thing to check out.
Speaker 3 (05:34):
It's really cool by kids' school used to do that.
They had a telescope club that they created a deal
with and they they would go out there on an
evening during like during the fall, and they would set
them up and aim them at different celestial bodies, Moon, Mars,
you know, things like that, and you could in Saturn,
and Saturn was wild because you look at this giant
telescope and Saturn will be like the size of a nickel,
(05:54):
but it was bright and clear. They would zoom it
in like perfect. It was very cool, by.
Speaker 1 (05:59):
The way, and I did this once before after Danny
brought it to our attention. A lot of fun and
what a great little resource up there in Seminole County.
Speaker 3 (06:07):
It sure is. And it's right off seventeen niney two.
Speaker 4 (06:09):
Very easy to find, yep, for sure. Absolutely.
Speaker 5 (06:12):
Let's see happening Saturday and Sunday in Plant.
Speaker 4 (06:16):
City, so there's a little bit of a day trip
if you want to do this Sunday.
Speaker 5 (06:19):
They are doing this actually every weekend throughout October Keel Farms,
which is a place where they do cider and wine
and it's this nice farm area with a great place.
Speaker 4 (06:32):
To eat as well.
Speaker 5 (06:33):
So they're doing harvest days with hay rides, a corn maize,
a pumpkin patch painting, camel.
Speaker 4 (06:39):
Rides because that's fall, right.
Speaker 5 (06:43):
And a pumpkin pie eating contest as well.
Speaker 3 (06:46):
Damn really.
Speaker 5 (06:47):
So that's every Saturday and Sunday this month from ten
am to three pm at Keel Farms and Plant City.
And then of course on Saturday from twelve pm to
four pm is the annual Best of Challenge Chili edition yea.
Speaker 3 (07:03):
Posted by Yours Truly the Jim Colbert Show. Yeah.
Speaker 5 (07:07):
Absolutely, and hopefully I'll be able to stop. I didn't
get to stop by last week when you guys did
Suid's Pups and Pints because my child had other ideas.
Speaker 4 (07:17):
We'll see if we can.
Speaker 3 (07:19):
Get you hammered.
Speaker 4 (07:21):
I had to let him lay off a little bit.
Speaker 3 (07:23):
If he wakes up with a cold brito, you need
to maybe call for some help.
Speaker 4 (07:29):
I did.
Speaker 5 (07:30):
I think that might be, you know, for foreshadowing his
later years. But yes, I love the Sunset Walk venue.
That is a great place to hang out rain or shine.
And then happening Sunday is the Wicked Wonderland Market from
ten am to four pm at the Osceola Heritage Park
Events Center. So this is a Market where they're going
(07:53):
to have all kinds of vendors and they're spooky, theming
it Wonderland, theming it's it's a kind of a mishmash,
and they are encouraging costumes.
Speaker 4 (08:02):
So if you.
Speaker 5 (08:03):
Want to get the full use out of your Halloween
costume this year, go ahead and get started this weekend
for sure. And Forward Slash Distillery in winter Park is
rolling out there.
Speaker 4 (08:14):
Forward Slasher, Oh.
Speaker 3 (08:17):
Take it all.
Speaker 4 (08:17):
Thank you now, don't think I like.
Speaker 2 (08:20):
You did that.
Speaker 3 (08:21):
I'm listening.
Speaker 5 (08:23):
So all month long they're going to have thematic decor
horror movies showing on the screen as you're drinking your
Halloween themed cocktails. And this is happening Wednesdays through Sundays
all the way, this this whole month of October.
Speaker 4 (08:38):
And of course we have a full list.
Speaker 5 (08:39):
Of Halloween bars at Orlando Date nightguide dot com. You
can go to Facebook, Instagram, x or threads. We are
on all of them and we post the links there too.
Cool Sunday is the Milk Mark Spooky soire So this
is in the Milk District from twelve pm to six pm. Again,
another full of vendors, and in fact, this one has
(09:02):
like three hundred different vendors. M yes, and they are
encouraging costumes again, so why not walk around Milk District
and your costume. And finally, something that is happening later
this month that you definitely want to get your tickets
early for is Harbor Nights La Dolce Vita. So this
happens at Portofino Bay. They're at Universal Orlando. They do
(09:23):
this about four times a year and it is bucket list.
You have to do this at least once date night.
It's unlimited food from the hotel's award winning restaurants, eighteen
different wines that they handpick, and you can just go
to town with really. So that's happening Friday, October six
excuse me, October seventeenth, from six thirty pm to ten pm.
Speaker 3 (09:47):
Very nice.
Speaker 5 (09:48):
What's the number on that?
Speaker 4 (09:50):
That is an excellent question.
Speaker 5 (09:51):
I think it's like eighty dollars better unlimited and we
are sending that out in our excuse me, it is
one hundred dollars.
Speaker 3 (10:00):
Okay, yeah, yeah, sure, yeah, I meant almost wine and food.
It's going to be a.
Speaker 1 (10:08):
Bay yeah yeah, absolutely, yeah, it's really nice there. It's
they got this like man made lake patio and it's
just it's it's a really cool event.
Speaker 3 (10:17):
It's the lagoon, right, it pulled up into the in
the area where you can sit out on that patio
and the some of the years are perfect time to
do that.
Speaker 5 (10:24):
They do live music. They have opera singers out on
the ball.
Speaker 4 (10:27):
Yeah, it's very culture nice. It's very nice.
Speaker 3 (10:30):
And the cool thing is if you're staying there in
one to the parks, you can take a ferry or
take one of their boats and they'll drive you over
to the park and you feel like a baller, like
a ball. Yeah, studios, I'll need my water taxie.
Speaker 1 (10:44):
Now you will be surrounded by minion shirts.
Speaker 5 (10:48):
They're still gonna feel like a ball I've always wondered
with that event, with with the Harbor Nights because they
again they do it like four times a year. The
people that don't know about it, that are staying there
and then they like you know, they go out in
the morning to the parks, right, they're coming back in.
Speaker 4 (11:02):
The evening like what the.
Speaker 3 (11:05):
Flash mob.
Speaker 5 (11:08):

comes out in about ten minutes. You can sign up
