my headphones. Dude's been on the air with this grand
total of eleven seconds and coughed in the list.

Speaker 3 (01:13):
It was a cough.

Speaker 1 (01:15):
You guys give it up, good laugh for ross pageant.

Speaker 3 (01:20):
I'm comfortable, uncomfortable in my own skin. I promise tell
us about good cough. I mean good sauce, good sauce.
You know what, we don't have enough time to even
talk about the entire episode, but I will gloss over
some of our topics. First and foremost real trees, fake trees.
Do you know the percentage of people who buy real
trees versus fake trees?

Speaker 2 (01:40):
Jim, Oh my gosh, I'll go sixty forty fake trees win.

Speaker 1 (01:46):
I think forty do real.

Speaker 2 (01:48):
I'm gonna oh no, I say I'm a real tree person.
Oh yeah, I'll go seventy thirty a fake tolle.

Speaker 3 (01:55):
Right, well, guess what you're gonna have to tune in
at eight o'clock. We gotta go fast. We gotta go fast,
we gotta go all right, so check this out. This
is what we want to do right now. There's it's
a lot of Christmas conversations. You know, we talked about
yesterday about Christmas parties dos and don'ts, and how I

(02:16):
kind of need you to take a proactive dun't before
you show up to my Christmas party. Right, all right,
that's just the rules. That's Christmas rules. I didn't make
it up.

Speaker 1 (02:25):
All right, that's completely fair.

Speaker 3 (02:28):
All right, this is what everyone should do this Christmas,
and we're about to do it live on air. It
has to go fast. I see the clock, and I
understand what rules are, Jack, Jim, Deb, I need your
two favorite Christmas movies and quickly.

Speaker 1 (02:45):
Jim, It's a Wonderful Life and Miracle on thirty fourth Street.

Speaker 3 (02:49):
Wonderful Life, Miracle on thirty third Street, thirty forty four,
thirty fourth that's how Orlando I am.

Speaker 2 (03:00):
And it would be more of a miracle in thirty third.

Speaker 3 (03:05):
Was that actually does happened? All right? All right, deb deb,
talk to me two favorite Christmas movies shoot.

Speaker 1 (03:11):
Him out, It's a Wonderful Life, and the animated movie
The Star.

Speaker 3 (03:15):
Okay, well, animated movie The Star is your only one.
I need another one because it was already taken from
Jim oh Man. I'll go with Home Alone.

Speaker 2 (03:26):
That's a good one.

Speaker 3 (03:27):
Yeah, I do like that. Hold up, I don't know
how you can say home alone as if you are
annoyed by that choice, that's a perfect you just dunked
on that. Props to the chef Jack.

Speaker 2 (03:40):
Two movies, I will take Elf and also, yeah, and
did Christmas specials count or like.

Speaker 3 (03:48):
He said, my movies, he clearly said movie.

Speaker 2 (03:51):
He clearly said no, if there was another twenty minutes
in it, it would be a movie. Whatever. So you
need a second movie, and Jim already that one. I
will say a dog Walker's Christmas Jesus.

Speaker 3 (04:05):
Oh okay, God almighty, that's that is that Hallmark.

Speaker 2 (04:10):
Imagine what imagine working with that.

Speaker 3 (04:12):
Full time that I've never seen a home.

Speaker 2 (04:18):
That name got stuck in my head a couple of
years ago, and I will keep bringing it back.

Speaker 3 (04:23):
All right, I'm going Jingle all the way, Jingle all
the way. And my other Christmas movie let's go with.
I'm thinking Jim Carrey Grinch, Jim Carrey Grinch, Grinch. All right,
all right, now we have to quickly seed this very fast. Guys,

(04:43):
don't hate the messenger. I'm just the bear of the truth.
Here we go, Elf number one seed. We are going
Grinch number two seed. We are going to go wonderful
life as our third seed. Boom boom boom. You guys
following me here, wonderful life is We're gonna go home

(05:06):
alone as our fourth seed and going to go give.

Speaker 2 (05:10):
Me Scrooge from from the top rope out of nowhere.

Speaker 3 (05:15):
Plot twist, we have Scrooged on the setting right here, beautiful,
So jingle all the way will be my six. You
see how this is breaking down here because because now
I know it's not the great radio when you just
hear someone working in the same thing. But check this out.
This is when we go Miracle is our thing. And

(05:39):
then Animated Star. We have our seed, our ranking for
our Christmas movie up to date, and it's the quickest way.
When it's quick, it's guttural, it's from the soul. We
have Elf versus Animated Star. I don't think we really
need to vote on.

Speaker 2 (05:56):
That now, will I will say this.

Speaker 3 (06:05):
I would love to hear a good reason why Animated
Star is better than.

Speaker 2 (06:11):
Elf, because it is actually the story about why we
celebrate Christmas, and it's a really cute story. Capitalism.

Speaker 3 (06:20):
Well, I thought it was also about I thought Elf
was also about Christmas because he's uh has daddy issues. Okay, here,
this is what I'm trying to say, is Elf is
moving on. Now. We have Miracle on thirty fourth Street
versus The Grinch. What say you? Oh man, Oh that's tough.

Speaker 2 (06:40):
The Grinch movie.

Speaker 3 (06:41):
Oh yeah, I'm glad for me.

Speaker 2 (06:43):
It's miracle, but I mean miracle, Miracle, Oh, miracle.

Speaker 3 (06:48):
That says something about I'm just saying that's I mean
the Grinch. Jim Carrey, whoa.

Speaker 2 (06:53):
That says we're not afraid of black and white movies.
That's right, that's what it says. We're not afraid, buddy.

Speaker 3 (07:05):
I'm just saying. That's the only time. I just want
to point out, that's the only time Jim has ever said, yeah,
what Jack said.

Speaker 2 (07:13):
You're not wrong.

Speaker 1 (07:14):
I just signed a deal. I don't want to get in.

Speaker 3 (07:18):
I'm very happy to be a bridge every now and then. Okay, Elf,
Miracle on thirty fourth Street. Now they move on, Miracle.
We have wonderful life versus Jingle all the way wonderful.

Speaker 2 (07:33):
Get out of here, yeah, get out of here, not
even close. That's angering actually, yeah, dare Okay.

Speaker 3 (07:39):
Well, you don't understand Arnold Schwarzenegger's evolution as an actor. Oh,
kind of like star and when he punches a reindeer
in its face, you believe it?

Speaker 1 (07:52):
Oh?

Speaker 3 (07:52):
Yeah, sure to mention Phil Hartman. Phil Hartman's in that movie,
and I will always rep jingle all the way. Wonderful
Life moves on, but them home alone versus Scrooged. Ooh,
that's a tough one.

Speaker 1 (08:04):
Scrooged is good, God Almighty, that is so tough.

Speaker 3 (08:08):
Yeah, I think you gotta go Scrooged.

Speaker 2 (08:12):
Yeah, I would go Scrooged.

Speaker 1 (08:14):
I would.

Speaker 2 (08:16):
I picked Scrooge and I'd go home alone.

Speaker 3 (08:21):
Now here's the thing. I am also home alone, which
means we do have to break a pool que in
half and then just let us at it. I'm joking.
We will go with home alone just to kind of
spice it up when it comes to you know, we'll
get a newer movie in there as well. All right,
Elf versus home alone? What say you?

Speaker 2 (08:42):
Oh? Man?

Speaker 3 (08:42):
Elf? Elf? Home alone? Elf? Elf? Elf? Oh, I'm with you.
I'm with dev on that home alone versus Elf, But
we got to move Elf moves on. Miracle on thirty
fourth Street almost said thirty third again versus a wonderful lifeonderful.

Speaker 1 (09:00):
Life, Yeah, wonderful life perfect movie.

Speaker 3 (09:02):
And here we go, ladies and gentlemen. In our finals.
You play Michael Jordan, Chicago, Bulls Music or Elf versus
Wonderful Light, the Official Christmas Movie of The Jim Colbert Show,
twenty twenty five edition. What say you? It's a wonderful life.

Speaker 2 (09:24):
It's a wonderful life.

Speaker 3 (09:30):
That was way more dramatic than I ever thought it
could have been.

Speaker 1 (09:34):
Yeah, it's a wonderful life. Is a perfect movie. It's
a perfect holiday movie. It is a perfect story. It's
perfectly acted. The dialogue is perfect, it's perfectly shot. The
message it's perfect. It's a perfect film.

Speaker 3 (09:47):
So this is an exercise that I think all Christmas
parties can do if you're trying to break ice, because
it's just give me your two favorite movies and you
do an eight movie knockout bracket. That should kill it.
Around the bonfire, all you need is a pen and
pencil and paper. Actually you just need actually two of

(10:08):
those three things. Lastly, and a fire and a fire
you also need that. And lastly, Jack perfect music for this,
because I'm going to say something negative, but it is
one hundred percent true. The date is December seventeenth, and

(10:28):
we touch on this topic a lot. Tonight at eight o'clock,
do not make your gifts. You're out of time. I'm
here to tell the dads deep inside of your heart,
you think you can make that diorama, you cannot. You
think you can make that little miniature that your wife

(10:50):
is into. That is also another thing you cannot do.
And here's why Christmas gives us the Dunning Kruger effect
every year, where we think, oh, I can make that,
you can't. You've never evolved past hand turkeys. Unless you
have thirty to forty hours and or a particular previous

(11:16):
set of skills. You're not gonna make her that chair.
You're not gonna make that you're not gonna crochet that blanket.
And that is what is up on Good Sauce episode
eighty something, eighty seven eighty seven.

Speaker 2 (11:32):
Thank you all right, guys, it's lust to night eight
o'clock with Joel.

Speaker 1 (11:38):
Who's on with you tonight, Joel Rnado, John, the whole crew?

Speaker 3 (11:41):
What? Oh you have the whole crew? We have Joel back.
It is probably a top ten episode, to be honest
with you, not even probably. We all loved seeing each
other and being back in the same room. It's a
very very fun episode, and I think it's a perfect
way to kick off your Christmas vines.

Speaker 1 (11:58):
Perfect. Everybody shooting tonight, clock listen to good Sauce. But
he will see tomorrow for sure, Right, all.

Speaker 3 (12:03):
Right, one more thing. It's eighty percent twenty percent, eighty
percent fake trees twenty percent real tree.

Speaker 1 (12:10):
Yeah yeah, yeah, so much easier. Yeah you don't look.

Speaker 3 (12:14):
Hay, yeah it don't be disappointed.

Speaker 1 (12:16):
Yeah, alright, very good, all right, but we will see
tomorrow for sure. There is Ross Patchet's not good Sauce
alright for seven nine one six one o four one
text does a seven seven zero three one back in
a second with more than Jim Corporate shows, say, right
there
